Chapter 7
With the diagnosis, the police had to let me go.
I had a mental illness, and they were the ones who induced me. So my cousin's family can only blame themselves for their bad luck.
But I did break a lot of things in the hotel. The police played the peacemaker and let our family pay a small amount of medical expenses.
"Alright. Sign the mediation agreement and don't make trouble again."
My cousin's wife and her family signed it reluctantly. They even tried to threaten me after leaving the police station.
"I'm telling you. This isn't over yet..."
But before my cousin's wife could finish her words, I grabbed her father by the clothes and pushed him to the ground.
"Let me also tell you. This isn't over."
I rolled up my sleeves and snarled, "I have plenty of time do play this game with you!"
"You hurt our family so much, and now they wanna even out?
Keep dreaming!" I thought.
My cousin's wife was about to give more trash talk, but my ferocious look made her step back in fear. "Officer, she's trying to beat us again!"
Seeing the fear on their faces, my sister came over and grabbed my hand. "Sarah, let's go home."
I nodded, patted my sister's head, and looked back to give them a hideous smile.
"You guys, wait. I won't let you go. We'll play this game slowly."
"My cousin's wife lived on the first floor, which was convenient for them. However, it also offered convenience
to me."
When she opened the curtains that night, she suddenly screamed.
There was a big smiley face painted with red paint on the window glass.
I stood next to the window and grinned at her.
My cousin's wife fainted instantly.
My cousin got mad and came out with a stick to beat me, but then he remembered how I beat Edwin. So, he stopped.
Then, he yelled at me through the door, "You crazy bitch! Stay away from our house!"
I said, "Okay", smiled at them, and left their house as he wished.
The following day, my cousin looked around and made sure I wasn't around before walking out of his house.
I didn't wait for him at his house. Instead, I went to his company.
I took a big loudspeaker and shouted at the entrance of his company.
"Hunter Wyatt, an employee of your company, conspired with his wife to murder his cousin's family. How shameless of him to try to wipe out the entire family!"
Chapter 8
The sound from the speaker was deafening. No one could avoid hearing it.
My cousin looked at me in disbelief and tried to ask me to leave. But he was intimidated by my strength and didn't dare to throw me out himself. Instead, he called the security guards.
When the security guards came to chase me away, I sat on the ground and cried, "They are all monsters! They are almost ruining our family!"
"I don't wanna do this, either. But they got our family in so much trouble. My sister committed suicide by taking pills, and my parents fell sick from anger. Hunter, his wife, and his parents-in-law all tried to wipe out our family!"
I cried and made a scene, attracting many people.
The security guards wanted to chase me away at first, but after listening to me, they looked at my cousin with disgust.
"You can't be so shameless. Are you trying to kill them all?"
Even my cousin's colleagues looked sour when they saw my cousin. "Is what your cousin said true?"
My cousin was so embarrassed that his face turned red. He pointed at me and said, "She is a psychopath. Don't listen to her!"
He got mad at me and wanted to push me away, but with just one push, I fell to the ground.
People always tend to believe in weaker ones. Hunter was a grown man, but he pushed me to the ground, which ruined his image in people's minds further.
I lay on the ground, wailing, looking very miserable, but the sound of the speaker next to me was still going on.
It went again and again, "Hunter Wyatt wants to wipe out the whole family..."
My cousin was so ashamed that he pulled me up and asked me to leave. I started wailing again, "That hurts, cousin. Please stop hitting me. I'll give you all our money. Please let my family go!"
I fell to the ground and started screaming in pain. Seeing this, those who were around quickly called 911.
Finally, I was taken to the hospital. When I was asked where the painful spot was, I said I felt pain all over.
The doctor asked me to do all the necessary tests and finally said to my cousin, "Let the patient rest here. We'll wait for the test results."
All those examinations cost my cousin about seven grand.
I still felt pain all over, and I kept screaming. Finally, a psychiatrist told me to take some medicine first.
"Psychological pain can also cause physiological reactions in patients, so she needs to be treated slowly."
My parents heard what had happened and rushed over. They hugged me in great concern, their eyes red.
Hunter's family also came. When they found out about what Hunter did, they slapped him in the face.
"I told you not to get involved in this kind of shit. Are you happy now?"
Chapter 9
My cousin was also upset, but that was about the money, though.
Not only was all the money he took from my family spent on me, but he also had to pay more than two grand himself.
They apologized to me and kept asking for my forgiveness.
"Your cousin didn't mean it. We're all relatives. Please forgive him!"
I looked more innocent. "I'm not pretending, either. My cousin pushed me, and it really hurt."
They all looked uncomfortable, but they still apologized to me and my parents.
I was mentally unstable, but my parents were normal. They couldn't bear to watch me suffer like that.
So, they severed the relationship with Hunter's family and even threatened, "If anything happens to our daughter, we seek justice for her even if we have to die!"
Then, we parted on bad terms. After they left, I got up immediately.
My sister was still wiping tears. I patted her face and said, "Let's go home."
After making such a big scene all morning, I was a little hungry.
I had to eat before I could continue making trouble.
The night came. I went to the community where Hunter's parents-in-law lived.
This time, I got a bag of mice and shouted, "Takeout!"
Hunter's father-in-law came to the door and asked in confusion, "I didn't order takeout."
As he spoke, he opened the door.
I immediately threw the mice at his face.
I clapped my hands and laughed at him. "Those are my gifts for you!"
Mice squeaked and jumped over his face and body. In fright, Hunter's father-in-law pointed at me and cursed, "You are fucking sick!"
His wife also came out. When she saw me, her face turned pale with fear. "Why are you here, bitch?"
I stood at the door, clapping my hands and cheering, "You are two old bastards, and you gave birth to a little bastards. I brought you some mise to keep you bastards company!"
The old couple screamed in fear and tried to chase the mice away while calling out to Edwin in a husky voice.
"Edwin! Help!"
Edwin heard the noise and came out. Seeing me again made him want to shrink back. But then he was also pissed when he saw the mice running around. So, he took a mop and came to me.
Edwin ended up being pinned to the ground and beaten up again.
So, he was admitted to the hospital once again.
He had a bone fracture.
His parents almost passed out in anger. They called the police immediately.
But the police gave the same advice.
Mediation.
After all, I was mentally ill and was still in the recovery stage.
After leaving the police station, I pointed at them and laughed.
"It's not over yet. I'll still keep an eye on you!"
