Chapter 2

When the caregiver came to clean me up, Matthew showed no intention of stepping out. Instead, he casually sat nearby, scrolling through his phone as if nothing was happening.

Then, in an offhand manner, he said, “Davis, I heard from the doctor that a large part of your rectum was removed. That must be tough, huh? But what’s even worse is losing your manhood. Don’t let it get to you, though. At least you already have a son.”

At this moment, Matthew must have been feeling quite triumphant.

After all, I had unknowingly raised his son for so many years. And on top of that, I had even “donated” a part of myself to him.

Too bad for him, he was celebrating too soon.

The moment the three of them walked out, I struggled to signal the nurse. “Help me make a call.”

"Hello, Dad? I’ve made up my mind. I’m coming home to inherit the family business!"

I was originally the heir to a top-tier, reclusive global family.

Back then, I hid my identity and fell in love with Kelly.

Later, I even gave up my inheritance willingly to marry her, choosing to live an ordinary life.

But now, I realized that this woman was never worth it.

Over the years, our vast family influence had been primarily based overseas.

In a month, once my father finished consolidating our family’s resources, he would return to hand everything over to me.

I would make sure that none of the people who had betrayed, deceived and hurt me got away easily.

That very night, I suffered a severe allergic reaction to the flowers, leading to dangerous suffocation.

As I was rushed into the emergency room, Kelly and my so-called son were nowhere to be found.

The doctor, his palms sweaty with urgency, frantically made several phone calls.

"If the family doesn’t sign for the surgery now, the patient will die!"

Fortunately, Kelly rushed in at the last second to sign the consent form.

After a life-or-death battle, I barely managed to survive.

Half-conscious, I overheard the doctor furiously scolding Kelly outside the ICU.

"As his wife, don’t you know he’s severely allergic to pollen? He’s already been through a terrible ordeal and now he had to fight for his life again because of negligence!"

My so-called son scoffed dismissively, "Well, he didn’t die, did he? Did he really have to interrupt our family dinner over this?"

Kelly sounded slightly impatient as well. "I was just trying not to turn down a visitor’s kind gesture. Besides, it’s just a pollen allergy and he could’ve just endured it. Why did I have to rush over to sign for surgery?"

Kelly was about to continue complaining, but my coughing interrupted her.

She and my so-called son anxiously pushed open the door, tears welling up in their eyes.

"Honey, it's my fault. I forgot about your pollen allergy."

My son put on a concerned face and spoke in a childish voice, "Daddy, are you still in pain? If you are, I’ll turn on the TV for you. Watching TV will make you forget the pain!"

Saying that, he pressed the remote.

Immediately, a serious news broadcast played:

"Recently, a man was assaulted by dozens of strong men while picking up his son from school. Citizens are advised to stay cautious when traveling outside…"

Kelly panicked, snatching the remote and hurriedly changing the channel.

"Davis, don't take it to heart. The image is blurred, no one knows it's you."

But the next scene showed a group of reporters gathered at the hospital entrance, live broadcasting.

Some unscrupulous media outlets are reporting: "We have now arrived at the hospital where the victim is. It is said that his rectum has necrotized and he is also incontinent. We will go take a look shortly!"

Kelly's face looked very bad and she held my hand tightly, comforting me, "I'll go downstairs right now and drive them all away!"

"Stop!"

As she turned around, I let out a cold laugh and said, "How could the media know so many details? They even found the hospital I’m at. This has caused such a big commotion and your involvement can’t be left out, can it?"

Chapter 3

"Kelly, are you happy now that I've become like this?"

Kelly stiffened, frozen in place. "Honey, what are you saying?"

"I’m saying that everything I’ve gone through was all orchestrated by you and Matthew. You two really went to great lengths to transplant my things to him."

Our son reacted quickly, angrily accusing, "Dad, even if you’ve become a cripple, you can't wrong people like this."

Looking at the face that didn’t resemble mine, spitting out cruel words, I gritted my teeth and said, "You don’t need to call me dad. Go find your real father, Matthew!"

For a moment, the entire atmosphere became terrifyingly still.

Kelly's face turned slightly pale and her lips trembled. "You're speaking nonsense due to illness. How can you say such a thing in front of a young child? I'll pretend I didn't hear anything today. I'll go stop those reporters outside!"

With that, she turned and ran toward the door.

I turned away, pretending to sleep. I was no longer looking at my son's pitiful face.

That day, I went to pick him up from school.

If he hadn't insisted on taking a more secluded path, those people would never have had the chance to attack me.

I did everything I could to shield him and told him to call the police.

But it wasn't until the next day that a passerby found me barely clinging to life and rushed me to the hospital.

I didn’t know how much time had passed when my hospital room door was violently flung open and a swarm of reporters barged in.

Kelly opened her mouth slightly, weakly positioning herself in front of me. "I'm sorry, I didn’t expect..."

I let out a mocking laugh and said, "You brought these reporters here on purpose, didn’t you?"

The reporters didn’t care about anything else. They only cared about the explosive news in front of them.

“Mr. Jones, is it true that you were assaulted?”

My son stood protectively in front of me, anxiously trying to explain, “You’re not allowed to say that about my dad! He got hurt that day while protecting me. Even if he lost his vital part, I’ll take care of him for the rest of his life!”

The moment he finished speaking, he immediately covered his mouth.

Hearing this, the reporters grew even more excited, like ravenous wolves with glowing green eyes, pressing forward aggressively. “What? He… lost that?”

“Mr. Jones, is what your son said true?”

One reporter went as far as to lunge at me, attempting to pull back my blanket for a closer look.

As soon as the blanket was lifted, a pungent stench filled the air, hitting everyone like a sledgehammer.

“He… he lost control of his bladder!”

In that moment, every gaze fixed on me carried nothing but disgust, sharp as blades piercing through me.

I wished I could disappear into the ground.

But the reporters broadcasted my most humiliating moment live, stripping away the last shred of my dignity as a man.

Within just a few hours, my story had exploded across every platform’s trending list.

The whole country now knew that I was a eunuch.

For several days in a row, my name and humiliating photos and videos have dominated the top trending searches.

Furious, I smashed everything within reach in the hospital room.

Faintly, I could hear the nurses whispering outside the door.

"He was a man losing that organ. No wonder he's become so moody and unpredictable."

"Let's try to be more understanding. After all, he's not even a man anymore."

Instinctively, I reached between my legs. It was empty.

My hand clenched into a fist in an instant. ‘Matthew, one day, I'll make you experience everything I’ve suffered.’

Gripping my phone tightly, I said, "Dad, can you come back to the country any sooner?"

"Son, just give me three more days. In three days, I'll be back to avenge you!"

Matthew came to see me again.

Chapter 4

When Kelly led him inside, I immediately noticed the dense cluster of ambiguous red marks beneath her collar.

Suppressing my anger, I asked, "Kelly, where have you been these past nights?"

Kelly instinctively clenched her palms in nervousness.

Then, rubbing her tired temples, she sighed and said, "I've been running around trying to find specialists for your treatment."

Even at this point, she was still making excuses.

I didn’t bother exposing them anymore.

This was her last chance, and in the end, Kelly still didn’t cherish it.

Matthew looked at Kelly with heartache.

"Davis, do you know? You're going to be a father again. You’d better cherish your wife. She's done so much for you. Don't let her exhaust herself."

As he spoke, his face lit up with joy as he gently stroked Kelly’s lower abdomen.

My face turned ashen and my temples throbbed violently.

Was he trying to make me play the fool again? This was beyond humiliating.

Just as I was about to explode, my son brought a bowl of soup to me.

“Dad, Matthew made this nourishing soup for you. He added lots of rare medicinal herbs to help you recover soon.”

“I don’t want to eat it…”

Before I could refuse, my son had already brought the bowl to my lips.

“I said I don’t want to eat it. Do you not understand what I said?”

Furious, I snatched the bowl and hurled it against the wall.

My son was so shocked that he froze, unable to dodge in time. The scalding soup splashed onto him and he burst into tears from the pain.

Suddenly, Kelly's crisp slap landed hard on my face.

The force was so strong that my head buzzed and blood dripped from my nose.

"Davis, is this how a father should act?"

After saying that, she hurriedly took our son away to tend to his burns.

In the now-empty room, only Matthew and I remained. He didn’t even bother pretending anymore.

He casually placed a phone in front of me.

The moment my eyes landed on the screen, my pupils constricted in rage. Scene after scene of unbearable humiliation played before me.

"Davis, do you know who filmed this?" Matthew sneered. "Back then, when those men were tormenting you, your dear wife was standing right there, recording everything. She sold the footage online, one dollar per view. It’s all over the internet now."

My vision burned red as I smashed the phone into pieces.

Matthew chuckled like a devil. "Didn't see enough? Don't worry, I made plenty of copies."

He gave me a meaningful look. "And tell me, Davis, do you really know whose child it is?"

Ignoring my reaction, he continued nonchalantly, "The food has been delicious these past few days, hasn’t it? Well, eat up. I've been feeding you my leftovers. And the best part, it was my own son who fed them to you."

Disgust churned in my stomach and I gagged violently, every hair on my body standing on end. "Matthew, you… you…"

"And do you know where the thing you lost ended up?" He smirked, leaning in close. "That's right… it's with me now!"

That was the last straw.

I couldn’t hold back anymore. I jumped out of bed, lunging at him, my hands reaching for his throat.

Who would have thought that Matthew suddenly pulled out a dagger and shoved it into my hand. Then, without hesitation, he slashed himself between the legs.

By the time Kelly and the doctors rushed in, the scene they walked into was me standing there, dazed, holding a bloodstained knife.

Matthew lay weakly on the floor, his lips trembling. "Davis… has gone mad. He wanted to make me just like him, neither man nor monster!"

Kelly didn’t hesitate. She kicked me to the ground before hurrying over to check on Matthew’s injury.

After carefully confirming it wasn’t life-threatening, she finally turned to me, her face filled with fury as I clutched my chest, coughing up blood.

"Davis, how could you be so vicious? Just because you suffered misfortune, you want to drag others down with you?"

I let out a cold laugh. "Wasn't that thing he just cut mine to begin with?"

Kelly's face turned red, then pale. "You’re insane! Completely deranged!"

She turned to the doctors and nurses. "Restrain him before he starts biting like a rabid dog!"

Several doctors restrained me, forcing a sedative into my system.

That night, through the haze of the drug, I heard heavy breathing coming from the room next door.

"Aren’t you afraid your husband will hear? He’s just in the next room."

"Doesn’t that make it even more exciting?"

Dragging my unsteady body, I limped to the door and peered through the gap.

Kelly was kneeling in front of Matthew.

"He cut me," Matthew murmured, his voice laced with feigned weakness. "Why don’t you help me heal?"

Kelly hesitated.

"Use your mouth."

The sounds grew louder.

In the end, Matthew still wasn’t satisfied and he pushed her to the ground.

Shameless.

My eyes were bloodshot. Just as I was about to kick the door open, a hand suddenly covered my mouth and nose, dragging me back to the bed.

The faces of those men etched into my memory, haunting my nightmares endlessly.

"That night, we didn’t have enough fun. How about another round?"

Their voices mixed with the obscene sounds from the next room, sending horrifying images flashing through my mind.

Despair swallowed me whole as I shut my eyes.

Then, the door was kicked open and the entire hospital room was instantly flooded with light.

A squad of international mercenaries surrounded the hospital room in an impenetrable formation.

My father rushed to me, his eyes brimming with tears. He held me tightly, his voice trembling. "Son, I’m sorry I came too late!"
