Chapter 3
"Mom is already dead! Can't you see that?"
Frank quickly came to me, pinched my neck, and gritted his teeth, saying, "What trick is this? Do you want me to apologize and force me to surrender?"
"I told you your mother is dead! On the day she died, you were with your beloved Cecilia!"
I was furious when I thought of what Frank did.
I hated him!
The sound of slapping rang out.
Frank slapped me hard in the face. He used so much strength that I could hardly resist.
This slap made my already broken heartache again.
I looked at Frank with red eyes in disbelief.
"It was you who killed your mother. You are the culprit. How dare you slap me?"
Frank's eyes were fierce.
"Bonnie, if it weren't for my mother, you wouldn't even be able to enter the Cooper family. Now you curse her again and again. Are you heartless?"
"You even made a portrait of my mother. You went to great lengths to make my mother cooperate with you in this play. What is your purpose?"
"Isn't it just to prevent me from having contact with Cecilia?"
"I'm telling you. It's absolutely impossible!"
He angrily told me that not only would he not let me have my way, but he would also treat Cecilia better from now on!
"Then I wish you a happy ending in advance..."
"Sign the divorce papers!"
Frank stood up suddenly like a cat with its tail stepped on, his eyes turning red.
"I didn't expect you to be so heartless that you keep talking about divorce. Have you ever considered Mom's feelings?"
"Do you have to make her angry to death to make yourself happy?"
"Mom's last wish is for us to divorce!"
Frank snorted coldly, his eyes seeming to want to cut me into pieces.
"You can divorce, but stop acting and send my mom back!"
After saying that, he slammed the door and left.
I left that house with my mother-in-law's ashes and moved into my old house.
But I didn't expect to wait in line for two days to buy a cemetery.
Finally, the day of burial arrived. As soon as I opened the door, I was kicked to the ground by the people outside.
The ashes in my hand almost slipped.
I looked up and met Frank's angry gaze.
Cecilia stood far behind with a weird smile on her face.
Without waiting for me to react, Frank stepped over my body and entered the house.
He shouted angrily, "Mom!"
He kicked open every door, but didn't see his mother.
His patience was quickly exhausted. He walked quickly to me, squatting down and grabbing my collar, then asked angrily, "Where is my mom? Let her out. Where did you hide her?"
Looking at his twisted face in anger, I couldn't help but burst into laughter.
As long as he called the hospital, or let the assistant check it out, everything would be clear.
But he didn't!
Chapter 4
At this moment, Cecilia spoke up, "Bonnie, you can't instigate Auntie to do wrong things. Do you know how worried Frank is?"
"What if something happens if you hide Auntie?"
Looking at her weird face, I couldn't help but spit.
"Don't interrupt here. Who do you think you are? You are not Mrs. Cooper yet! Don't be so self-righteous."
Frank was irritated by my attitude, and his pent-up anger erupted completely.
The next second, he kicked me in the stomach. I screamed in pain, losing strength in my hands.
The urn suddenly fell to the ground.
The ashes inside scattered on the floor, particularly dazzling.
In an instant, I lost the sense of pain, and only the dazzling white remained in my eyes.
My screams echoed in the room.
"I want to see what you are holding like a treasure!"
I couldn't take care of my own stomach and threw myself on the ashes.
My eyes were fixed on my mother-in-law's ashes, and my mouth kept opening and closing, but I couldn't make any sound.
Frank threatened in a low voice, "Tell me. Where is my mother? I will give you one last chance."
"You're really good at acting, huh? Do you want to say that this white ash is my mother's ashes? Do you think I will believe it?"
I stared at my mother-in-law's ashes in a daze, without saying a word.
He keeps nodding and saying, "Well. You still don't want to tell the truth! You've prepared the memorial portrait and the ashes. It seems like you really want to drive me crazy!"
Cecilia ran over and comforted Frank with concern.
She looked at the bodyguard next to her anxiously.
"What are you still standing there for? Hold her down for me."
My head was pressed firmly against the floor by the bodyguard.
"Let me go!" I stared at Frank.
Frank looked at me coldly. "Apologize to Cecilia. This time you were really wrong. You shouldn't have hit her!"
"Dream on!" I wished I could tear Cecilia apart.
It was nothing more than being heartbroken.
Cecilia took a bottle of water from the bodyguard, poured it on the ground, and mixed it with ashes to make it muddy.
She bent down and dug up a piece, and forcefully smeared it on my face.
I couldn't stop trembling, but she smeared it on my face more crazily.
"You can even treat the white ash as a treasure. Are you out of your mind?"
My screams echoed throughout the hallway.
All my dignity and hope for Frank were shattered at this moment.
I didn't know where the strength came from, but I shook off the bodyguard's grip and slapped Cecilia hard in the face.
Almost a subconscious reaction, Frank seemed to be crazy and out of control With veins on his forehead bulging, he was full of anger. He raised his arm and forcefully pushed me away.
He carefully protected Cecilia behind him.
Being pushed by his force, I instantly lost my balance. It was difficult to stand firmly on my feet. I staggered a few steps and fell down.
In an instant, everything went dark...
Lying on the cold floor, my vision blurred...
The pain in my abdomen could no longer be ignored... Something warm was flowing beneath me...
I watched as a stream of bright red blood flowed between my legs.
It spread inch by inch on the floor... It was so dazzling!
When the last trace of sanity was lingering, I saw Frank.
He seemed to have lost his soul. His lips couldn't stop trembling, and his eyes were bloodshot.
He was in extreme anger...
Everything seemed to collapse in that instant...
