My Ex Wasted My Love, So I Choose To Marry My Abandoned Fiance Summary
Chapter 1 of My Ex Wasted My Love, So I Choose To Marry My Abandoned Fiance
My body shook violently when I saw my boyfriend and my best friend check in to the hotel. They were kissing passionately in the hotel hallway until they entered the hotel room together.
My heart was completely broken when I saw my boyfriend's immoral behaviour.
"Noah, how can you cheat on me with my best friend. For all these five years, I gave you everything and you repay me with this betrayal." I fell to my knees with tears streaming down my pale cheeks.
At the same time, I felt my cell phone vibrate and a message from Noah appeared.
[Jillian, go to sleep first; don't wait for me to come home. I still have a meeting with an important client]
Anger filled my heart when I saw the message on my phone screen. My tears broke out in the cold and lonely hotel hallway.
. . .
As if I didn't know what Noah was doing behind my back. Tonight, I still went out to dinner with Noah to celebrate the fifth anniversary of our relationship.
"I'm sorry, lately I can't spend much time with you," Noah said as he took my hand and looked at me lovingly.
I tugged at the corners of my lips with some force, and I couldn't take all the words of love Noah had said to me seriously anymore after seeing his affair with Audrey.
"It's not your fault, I know you're busy because you took over my position at the company," I replied later.
Noah took my hand gently and kissed the back of my hand lovingly; I let him even though I was sick of his presence.
"Hm, can I ask you something, darling?" Noah glanced at me with his sweet smile.
"Just tell me, I can do everything for you." I wondered what else he would ask of me this time.
"Jillian, I need money to invest. You know I'm doing this to marry you too, so can you give me 2 million?" With an expectant look, Noah grasped both my hands.
This mad dog still dared to wag his tail at me after betraying me. I silently calmed myself not to explode because it wasn't time yet.
"Too bad, this time it looks like I can't help you, my dear." With a face full of regret, I refused Noah's request, and I wouldn't give anything more to this bastard.
Not accepting my answer, Noah threw my two hands that he was holding into a glass, drawing the attention of the people in the fancy restaurant to us.
At the same time, I could hear a familiar female voice, and that's when I saw Audrey appear.
"Oh my, what's going on? Are you guys having a fight?" Audrey got excited herself and called the waiter to clean up the mess.
"Why are you here, Audrey?" I felt bad when I saw Audrey's arrival.
"I saw you guys from afar and decided to come here. Can I join you?" Audrey glanced at Noah with a mischievous look.
Noah responded with a big smile, "It would be nice if you joined us. Are you okay with that, Jillian?"
"But-"
"Of course Jillian won't mind." Audrey cut me off and hurriedly pulled out a chair to sit next to Noah.
Annoyed, I sat back down and saw Noah and Audrey shamelessly making out in front of me.
"You guys are really close," I said when I saw Audrey getting closer to Noah.
Audrey realized and pulled herself away from Noah, then turned to me with a bright smile and hugged my arm.
"Come on, don't be so jealous, Noah is just playing around," Audrey said, trying to calm me down.
No wonder why I was blind and didn't see their affair. I forgot that Audrey could always distract me like this.
"Jillian, you're such a jealous little girl." Noah rolled his eyes lazily when he saw my reaction, which he thought was childish.
"Aren't we used to acting like this?" Audrey giggled as she stroked Noah's arm affectionately.
"You know that this is normal, you’re the one who likes to make a big deal out of it," Noah smiled back at Audrey as he tucked his hair behind his ear.
I clenched my fists angrily at the sight of it all and ended up banging the table.
