Chapter 4

Mackenzie's Point of View

If there was any way that I could go back to Cold Bay, Alaska, I would do so without a second's hesitation. On the other hand, the nasty family that took care of me forced me to go back to London since I had no other option.

They did not imprison me in a dungeon or a tower until my death, but it might as well have happened that way because I was more than willing to give up my life rather than conform to what they desired for me to become or do. They did not lock me in a dungeon or a tower until my death, but it might as well have happened that way. Even though they did not put me in jail, it was almost as if that was the outcome of the situation.

Declan approached me as I stood by the entrance to the house. I immediately ducked my head and froze like a scared kitten. Even though his eyes were captivating, I made sure to keep them cast downward so that he wouldn't perceive it as a challenge.

When I looked up, I noticed that he was smiling to himself. He issued the command, "Come with me..." I decided to go with him as he walked away.

He showed me the enormous study room on the second floor. The decor was warm and inviting, and the combination of three distinct aromas struck me as particularly interesting. It had a frantic and yearning quality. There were two new males when I set my eyes down on the couch there. I spotted them. Both of their faces are exactly the same. They are obviously brothers.

A woman was observed standing behind the couch in the room. Her aura revealed to me where she stood in the hierarchy of their pack. She represents Luna.

The Luna remarked, "I'm glad you could make it..." She smirked at me. "Starting today, you are accountable to all of us."

While he was looking alluringly at me, one of the guys licked the corner of his bottom lip. "You are just smoking hot. I want to bind you up and then devour you "he was making threats, but to me, it seemed like a thrilling adventure.

But my body shuddered. I was petrified of every one of them. Those dudes took their time to look at me as if they had already stripped me naked before their eyes.

"What do you say? Is it possible for us to use her as a sex doll? "Another inquired about it. He was animated by the thoughts that were racing through his head, and the very thought of reading them through his eyes gave me chills.

"Mackenzie, you understand them correctly. They are my boys, and they desire you. You are well aware of your responsibilities within this home. And it is so that I can make my sons very happy "remarked the Luna. "Have you made it clear that you will cooperate with anything they decide to do with you? Because this is the work that is expected of slaves by their owners."

It caused me to cry.

In the course of my life, I was never forced to labor like a slave in the home I was raised in. There are none in our possession.

After the deaths of my parents and the other members of my pack, along with the rest of the people, I would now be forced to serve as a slave for the people who were responsible for their killings. Everything that we did was accomplished via cooperative effort. To simplify a lengthy and difficult story into a short one, they intended to use me as both a slave and as a whore for their boys. This was the simplest explanation they could come up with.

They are devoid of any sense of responsibility! How in the name of all that is holy can they act in such a way?

My entire existence was rumbling with the rumblings of a Kingston, and it required a lot of willpower on my part to keep my wolf from going completely berserk and losing control of himself.

I was able to keep my temper in check and refrain from lashing out in wrath, but the fact that I was terrified for my life was the most important thing. Even though I had never even been kissed by a guy, they wanted to take away the one thing I had left, which was my dignity and my innocence. They wanted to take that away from me.

I needed to have it spelled out to me very specifically what it was that they anticipated from me in terms of performance. It was frightening and upsetting beyond anything you could ever fathom in any way.

Why did they not murder me together with the rest of my pack and everyone else as they did to everyone else like they did to everyone else?

As their ability to move deteriorated further and farther, I felt an overwhelming impulse to scream, pull out their hearts, and eat them while they were still alive. After I had torn them into pieces, the next thing I intended to do was to burn what was left of them.

I was vastly outmatched in terms of both firepower and personnel, and despite my best efforts, I was unable to evade capture or flee the scene.

My parents had a far greater capacity than I had to recover from setbacks and go on with their lives. It was impossible for me to be a werewolf due to the fact that I could not move quickly enough and was not vicious enough.

And despite the fact that I held a huge power edge over humans, I was well aware that I would not stand a chance of surviving a fight with any of them.

My gaze was directed downward the entire duration of that time; nevertheless, in my mind, I had already been successful in killing them a million times, losing them a thousand times, and dying a hundred times.

Every time Luna Martha spoke to me and yelled orders at me, I squeezed my fists tighter and tighter until they were nearly closed. As time went on, I saw that the pressure in my fists was causing me to lose blood through my hands.

They were all capable of identifying that distinct odor. It was obvious because their gaze kept wandering to my closed fists while they were concentrating on anything else.

Despite this, Declan's glare was the one that lingered with me the most as the blood streamed down my face. He was the one that made me feel the most helpless. Even though I just caught a glimpse of it in his eyes for a split second, as he licked the inside of his lower lip, I could tell that he was starving.

He turned his torso so that it was facing forward and put his elbows on his knees prior to taking a series of quiet, deliberate breaths. He then began the sequence of breaths. It appeared as though he was attempting to catch a whiff of the smell of my blood, but this was really an illusion.

"Were you present when that took place?" "Have you seen that?" Even the smell of the two of us together makes him happy. Kingston abruptly said.

And yet again, I made the decision to disregard the wolf that lives deep inside of me. It was neither the right time nor the right place to discuss Declan's smell in that context, thus I was unable to do so.

Declan put his hand on my elbow when I was fired, and I was so outraged that I wrenched my arm out of his grasp without even recognizing what I was doing. At the time, I didn't even realize that Declan had his hand on my elbow.

As a result of the way he looked at me, I took a step back in panic, and for a fraction of a second, I was sure that he was going to hit me across the face.

As soon as Declan recognized the voice of the alpha, Nathan, his terror returned. He questioned you and your sibling, saying, "Why don't you and your brother break her today?"

In response, he offered, "Perhaps, but I'd like to ensure that she's running at maximum capacity." After grasping my wrist and hauling me out of his parents' study room, he said, "Between now and then..." without pausing to finish the thought he had started before adding it.

"I'd like to make sure that you understand one thing, Mackenzie. You are now under our control. There were a total of three of us present. You need to pay attention to our advice if you want everything to go off without a hitch." Declan made this assertion in the conversation.

After that, he grabbed my hand and licked the dried blood that was on my wrist. After that, he left. He appeared to be very intent on what he saw in my eyes. It was clear that lust was taking over all of his senses. You won't do this again or I'll break you in front of an audience or behind closed doors, do you understand?" He issued a severe warning.

I did it as swiftly as I could while still dropping my head. I nodded at him.

We persevered and made it to the next room. It had a chilly atmosphere and appeared to be an ordinary room. After that, he confined me inside. I had the impression that it was the new location for me to occupy.

I was standing there, completely astonished, holding the wrist that he had just licked.

At the very least, he did not continue to chain me up and use wolfsbane on me, but those people deserve to be torched to death in hell a billion times over and over and over again!

I was unable to remain seated and found myself wandering around the room while simultaneously conceiving numerous incoherent strategies.

I was so irritated that I marched all the way to the window with my foot stomping. I opened the window by turning the handle slowly and then pushing it open more so that it could be reached.

As soon as it opened, I had a fleeting moment of success, but my elation was short-lived because I discovered that a number of their troops were defending every escape route I could uncover. This brought my mood down considerably.

I seem to recall that they were a sizable pack with a significant number of fierce fighters. Because of this, even if I were to win convincing victories against the people below me, I would only achieve a small amount of progress.

"Shit!"

I threw myself on my bed and couldn't stop thinking about the potential outcomes and the things that might go wrong. Even though I had never met any of these people before, I was aware that every single one of them was cruel and insane.

They were the only ones who were allowed to continue living, despite the fact that they had not earned the right to do so.

After that, my thoughts went to my mom and dad for some reason. I don't remember exactly when I first started crying, but it was probably the night when they went away, or possibly even before.

"You folks are the absolute lowest of the low!" In a fit of rage, I let out a scream into my pillow.

It didn't seem fair to me that my parents would go through something so awful in their final days. I recognized that they had given up on me even if they maintained that they had not.

It didn't seem right to me that I should have been made to become a slave without my will and that I should no longer have a place to call home.

I thought it was unjust that I was as frail as I was, and I also thought it was unfair that this was the life I was experiencing at this point in time.

My rib cage began to constrict, which led to me heaving and crying even more than I had already been doing. Even though I was having difficulties breathing normally, I didn't let it upset me.

I lost track of time as I cried for hours, and I didn't care that my eyes were red or that my face was puffy when I woke up the next morning. If they expected me to have a flawless appearance when their only intention was to use me as their slave, then damn them all.

If they did not like how I seemed to them, then they need to put a stop to my suffering so that we can go on to the next victim.

Absolutely each and every one!

The experience I went through lasted for a significant number of hours. In spite of the fact that I wanted to keep crying, I have no more tears in me.

When I eventually gave in to exhaustion, I clutched my pillow as hard as I could until I fell asleep, as if doing so would give me the strength to face whatever was going to happen in the following moments.

Chapter 5

Mackenzie's Point of View

I only managed to get an hour or two of sleep altogether because, let's be honest, who could ever sleep peacefully knowing that there was no way to get out of this situation? It would appear that the Ackermans have taken ownership of me at this point.

My stomach turned as soon as the term "possession" was spoken, and even thinking about it made me feel filthy and queasy. I recoiled in dread at the sheer mention of the word.

When I looked at my wrists, I realized that the welts that had been present before had completely disappeared. After she said that, images of Declan sliding his tongue over one of the welts came into my thoughts almost shortly after that.

I was suddenly overcome by a wave of heat that began to paralyze me.

I massaged my eyes vigorously with my hands in an effort to get rid of the vision since I wanted to do so badly. On the other hand, the more that I did that, the more my stomach twisted and turned.

The snapshot imprinted itself indelibly into my memory. I smiled and shook my head.

"No. Mackenzie, don't even consider doing it. Stop," I told myself.

I checked my arms, my legs, and every other part of my body, and I saw that I had entirely recovered. To be more precise, I had the feeling that I had completely healed.

Because of this, I quickly stood up and opened each closet, praying that they had at least given me some clothing to wear because the idea that I would have to go about my day wearing nothing but my underwear scared me. As a result of this, I was able to get dressed fast.

What the devil is this! Were they under the notion that I would frequently visit their estate while dressed in a provocative manner?

After discovering that every single shelf and drawer was devoid of any contents, I voiced my anger to Kingston, who mirrored my feelings over the predicament. Kingston was visibly perturbed.

"I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you, but you're their s...," the speaker said."

Put a stop to that, Kingston. I get what you're getting at..." I cut her off and let out a sigh. I was aware of what she was going to say regardless, as I was previously familiar with it.

I decided to take a seat on the bed and consider the possibility of making a dress out of the sheets that were there.

"I really didn't have any other option than to give in to their demands, did I not?"

"I think that's the most likely scenario, Mackenzie..." Kingston's response was delivered in a mournful tone.

Because of the sudden opening of the door, which caused me to jump and draw away from the bed, my hands were just about to grab for the covers when the door unexpectedly opened. My first guess was that it was Declan, but then I noticed another man standing there. I'm not sure who he was. I have to find out who was behind this.

My body went into its fight-or-flight mode the moment he walked in, and so I sneered as a warning on instinct, despite the fact that I knew it wouldn't make him or anyone else in this mansion stop doing whatever it was that they were planning to do. My body went into its fight-or-flight mode the moment he walked in. My "fight or flight" response kicked in very immediately after he entered into the room.

He spoke to me in a pleasant tone when he introduced himself. I greeted Mackenzie Chadwick with "Good morning, Mackenzie," as if we had been acquainted for some time. Nevertheless, the fact that he used my entire name was a clear indication that he was also setting some boundaries for our relationship.

"May I ask what your name is?" I asked him as I slowly pulled the sheets from the bed to cover myself as I was still only partially clothed, and he just stood there with a steady smile on his face, watching my every move. I asked him as I was slowly pulling the sheets from the bed to cover myself as I was still only partially clothed. I had only a few of my clothes at this point.

Because it is in their nature to be unclothed, the werewolves that belong to our pack do not mind the fact that they are naked. There have been numerous occasions in the past in which I have gone nudist in front of a large number of other werewolves.

When we return to our human bodies after having been in our wolf forms, we shall be exposed to the world in our natural state. It's not as if the garments we wear can resize and reshape themselves to accommodate the various sizes and features of our bodies as we change our position.

I had no idea why, but I didn't want any of them to stare at me in that manner, as if I were some kind of happy meal or something like that.

Once I had completed the process of wrapping the sheets over my body, he glanced at me, smiled, and then expanded his smile even further.

"Finley. To express it more succinctly, I am such and such."

When I thought about the role he had in this group, the creases in my brow deepened and were more noticeable. As was the case with Declan, he gave off an air of dominance that didn't scream alpha but could easily be confused about that of an alpha.

As we stared intensely into the eyes of the person sitting on the other side of the room from us, the two of us continued to convey our feelings through the expressions on our faces.

As he continued to offer the information, he introduced himself as "the youngest brother of Declan and Nathaniel," and I couldn't help but wonder if he could read my mind as he did so.

That explained why he looked even somewhat like Declan, even if only slightly. They were almost identical in height and build, with golden brown eyes and auburn hair, and they both had the same hair color. He gave off the impression of being powerful and compact. Although he is not extremely stocky, he has an unquestionably strong and well-built physique.

The only thing that set him apart was the buzz cut fade he sported, and the mischief and mayhem that was clearly seen in his eyes.

However, this demeanor was more of a façade than anything else. Although he gave off the idea of being cool, he was actually everything but. If you were to speak to him in the wrong manner, it seemed as though he would make light of the situation at first, but then proceed to rip out your internal organs.

They were both well conscious of the fact that they were incredibly gorgeous people, which contributed to their confidence in their appearance. Perseus did not have any knowledge of Finley because Zeus did not have any information on Declan.

After what seemed like an eternity, he eventually remarked, "I brought clothes," as he flung the gym bag in front of me. After that, what felt like an eternity, he continued to wait.

As I reached for the bag, I murmured something about "Th-Thank you."

If you were to ask me, I would answer that you don't really require them because you already have what you need.

I was in the midst of standing up when all of a sudden I stopped and cocked my head to the side. I looked at him with suspicious eyes because his words could mean a multitude of things, none of which could mean well to me. I looked at him with wary eyes because his words could mean well to me.

Both he and I were aware of the role I played inside this house; as a result, the implications of his statements caused me to experience increased levels of fear.

"Oh, Shit. You completely misunderstood that. No, what I intended to say was that you have a blazing good looks." He laughed, and I wasn't sure whether he was making a joke at my expense or whether he was merely testing how I would respond to the circumstance.

I didn't know what to say and I couldn't move, so I clenched the bag even further to my chest and tried to talk through my mouth. Kingston was under the assumption that she could establish a connection with either Declan or him, despite the fact that both of them gave her the creeps to varying degrees.

that she was overcome with a want to be in their presence. Because even as I could feel my heart beating faster, Kingston was irritating me with his scent in the same way that she had done with Declan.

"Would you kindly refrain from doing that?"

I dealt with Kingston in a very authoritative manner.

I was aware that we had reached the stage in our development where we would begin maturing into female werewolves; however, the fact that she was picking up on the scents of everyone around her as if she were on a mission to find a mate was a little unsettling to me. I was aware that we had reached the stage in our development where we would begin maturing into female werewolves.

I was at a loss to fathom why she was literally acting like a piece of work given that we were prisoners and were going to be slaves. I was at a loss to comprehend why she was acting like a real piece of work.

"Chop, chop. You have your work cut out for you, there is a lot of it "he said this while grinning and sitting on the bed with his legs crossed, staring at me as though I were something that piqued his interest.

I murmured, "I-I need to take a bath before I change," hoping that he would take that as a signal to leave me hell alone and not bother me any further. I was hoping that he would interpret that as a signal to leave me the hell alone and not worry me any further.

"Sure. That area houses public restrooms." He provided a kind grin and gestured in the direction of the entrance to the restroom in question, but other than that, he stayed seated throughout the interaction.

Is he attempting to make me laugh right this second?

He laughed and flung his head back as he saw me hesitating to take the first step toward the restroom, and for a brief minute, I wanted to strangle him.

"Do not be alarmed; I will not follow you into the bathroom to watch your shower. Not quite yet. I'll just stay here for the time being and wait for you to come back." He smiled as he began to make himself comfortable on my bed and then continued to do so.

Not quite yet.

These remarks seemed to hold some sort of promise, and as a consequence, I found myself feeling indignant. But more than that, I had the distinct impression that I was encased, and it was just a question of time before I met my sad end.

I walked in a huff to the lavatory, shut the door behind me, and locked it, only to hear him howl with laughter as I was already inside the room.

Nevertheless, contrary to what he most likely thinks, I was not an idiot at the time that I did that. Both he and I were aware that, should he choose to do so, he could easily break the darn door, even with relatively little effort.

I did that for the sole purpose that I would do it if I could have some degree of privacy, even if it came in the form of a flimsy door. That was the only reason I did it.

I admonished her, "Kingston, please stop being such a piece of work," as tears rolled down my cheeks. "Please stop being such a piece of work." "We have to get out of this place and assist me right away."

Chapter 6

Mackenzie's Point of View

Since we emerged from my room, I have had the clear sense that Finley has had his stare fixated upon the part of my posterior that is exposed by my clothing. There was nothing about what I was wearing that could be construed as a seductive look. The articles of clothing I pulled out of the gym bag were the ones that didn't look particularly inviting to begin with.

I wore a single pair of jeans in the bag, which were extremely tight everywhere other than around my waist. I paired them with a pair of white sneakers, a black blouse, and the only pair of pants in the bag.

I was required to turn my head every so often to look at him so that he could indicate to me which direction I should go because he was moving slowly behind me rather than walking in front of me to show me the way. This was because he was following me rather than walking in front of me to show me the way.

I grumbled and inquired, "Where exactly are we going," as I became aware that we had just gone through the same hallway for the fourth time in a row.

After he eventually admitted it, he said, "Nowhere, I just like seeing you walk, and I think you kind of smell lovely, too." After hearing him say that, I instantly stopped walking after he said that.

When he saw the look on my face, he burst out laughing once again, and I vowed to myself that it seemed as though he was the most mad of all of them, despite the fact that they were all rather insane.

"Sorry. I just can't help myself. You are simply too adorable for me not to watch. I want to carry it out at this very location and instant."

Throughout the entirety of it, he continued making statements that left me more confused than I could have been, and once he saw the look on my face, he'd laugh. This went on for the entire time.

And it wasn't just any laugh; it was the sort of laugh that stated he was truly amused by my reaction and that he found me hilarious. And it wasn't just any laugh; it was the kind of laugh that said it all. It wasn't just any laugh; rather, it was the kind of chuckle that conveyed everything in a single moment.

After he had finished laughing at my expense, he moved one step closer to me and then leaned to the side of my head as if he was going to kiss my cheek, and boy, was I taken aback by the gesture. He moved one step closer to me and then leaned to the side of my head as if he was going to kiss my cheek.

"I'm kidding. I was just killing time. A word to the wise: make an effort to calm down and take it easy." He whispered the words to me while brushing his lips against my ear in a way that caused me to pause for a moment and catch my breath.

Despite the fact that there was no actual touch between us, I was nevertheless able to detect the sexual overtones that were present.

After that, he corrected his posture and began walking in a clockwise direction around the space. He looked in my direction. "I'll lead you..."

Holy shit, I had no idea these particular people were as peculiar as they are.

Before grinning at me, Finley led me to the location where I was scheduled to meet Luna Martha and sat casually on one of the modernized black couches that resembled Marthan furniture. He felt around in the area that was adjacent to him.

I was given the command to "Come sit here..." by him.

I heaved a sigh. I dithered for a fraction of a second. Then, I obliged. I did not speak at any point and maintained a respectful distance between you and me. Because of my anxiety, my knees were shaking. I simply held them down and worked on relaxing my stiff breathing in order to gain control of the situation.

He said, "I told you, relax..." several times.

After what seemed like only a moment, he abruptly rose up and extended his hand to me. "Come. We'll go now." He led me to the location where I had been instructed to meet Luna Martha.

He is everyone's jokester in the group.

Kingston abruptly interfered while I was assessing my options regarding whether or not to take the bait he was offering or whether or not to remain standing where I was. I was deciding whether or not to take the bait he was offering or whether or not to continue standing where I was.

He really did have the mind of a child. He did not have the careless attitude of a werewolf at all. He was Declan's complete antithesis in terms of both his behavior and the way he conducted himself. He had no resemblance whatsoever to Declan.

He encouraged Chadwick to take a seat by patting the couch with a greater amount of power than before. "Sit, Chadwick." "Come on, Chadwick." It was the second time that he had brought up my last name when he did so for the second time.

Was he making a joke about my surname, or did he actually find it attractive?

I was very impressed because there was not a single instance in which he spelled or otherwise mispronounced my surname.

It used to be that the vast majority of people, if not all of them, pronounced it as either "Rowtes-shi-ken" or "Rue-tez-check-in," but finally I grew weary of having to correct them, and I informed them that they could pronounce it anyway they liked.

Finley, on the other hand, had no issue with the pronunciation of my surname, which is pronounced "Royt-shkin." At the very least, I'm going to give him credit for it.

Just as I was going to take a seat next to him, Luna Martha, Declan, and another guy strolled into the room. I was startled because I was about to sit down.

Declan's eyes briefly met mine, and nearly as soon as they did, a mischievous grin began to appear on his face. Declan's eyes briefly connected with mine, and almost as soon as they did, Declan smiled. It wasn't the kind of smirk that says "I'm delighted to see you," but it definitely communicated something else entirely.

Something even more foreboding than that is going to happen.

When his mother sat down on the couch that was directly across from the one that Finley was sitting on, he immediately stood behind her and followed in her footsteps. Finley and I were both unsuccessful in our attempts to get a reaction from him.

We found ourselves smack dab in the middle of a big formal living room. However, rather than having walls, this room was covered with enormous windows that looked out onto the gorgeous rolling hills and lake.

When I turned my head to look at the other guy, I was immediately on edge because of the way he was looking down at me. When I turned my head back, I was immediately on edge. I got the impression that they were annoyed and disdainful.

The moment he came into closer proximity to me, a raised, red lump emerged on the bridge of his nose. It appeared as though he was about to commit murder right there and then and kill me because the anger that he felt against me was so clear in the way that he looked at me.

My being there was certainly not appreciated by him in any way. In fact, he had no affection for me in the slightest, which is why I was more afraid than I had ever been.

At the very least, Declan and Finley tried to strike up a discussion with me. Who exactly is this person? It had never crossed my mind that he would do it. Should I therefore take this as a reason to throw a party in my honor?

"Also, mate," he said.

Kingston was mentioned almost absentmindedly. In addition to that, what she said gave me the impression that my eyes were going to fly out of their sockets.

"What in the name of all that is holy are you doing, Kingston? Put an end to the absurd declarations that you take pleasure in all of their odors and that they are our partners.

I had to correct her behavior.

Nevertheless, that is not the situation.

In response, she opened fire on him.

In light of the evidence at hand, that just cannot be correct. There is never more than one person who can claim to be a werewolf's real mate. They are not our friends; rather, they are the ones who will harass us until we have nothing left, at which time they will put an end to our life!

I reminded her of it because it was the truth, despite the fact that it may have seemed harsh to the wolf that lives inside of me.

My internal debate with the wolf that resides within me was suddenly sidetracked when I heard Declan's voice say, "Nathaniel." After that, Declan proceeded to walk over to where Finley was sitting and proceeded to sit down next to him.

Once, I saw that he was looking at me. Before he turned his back on me, he merely cast me a single hateful glance before walking away.

Luna Martha never stopped talking about what she believed I needed to be doing throughout the entire time, despite the fact that I was under no obligation to do anything with her sons.

Whenever Luna Martha fixed her icy gaze on me, I couldn't help but feel nauseous and consider ending my own life. This feeling was exacerbated by the fact that I had just eaten. "Mackenzie, this is the life you now have to live. You are one of my sons' possessions. Your top priority should be giving in to what it is that they want. You are here to provide my sons with any and all sexual delights they may have required from you. And there is no need for you to complain." After hearing that phrase, I couldn't help but feel that I was being exploited for some sort of sexual enjoyment.

It was more than anyone could take care of at that point.

I bowed my head in submission. My eyes were already starting to flood up with tears, and I couldn't stop them. Then, in an admission of defeat, I nodded.

Luna Martha beamed at her friend. "Good. I count on your cooperation and know that you won't ever do anything to hurt us. Aside from that, the fact that you are still living in this day and age is a gift bestowed upon you by us. Mackenzie, don't you think that's accurate?"

"Y-yes, moon..."

After some time had passed, I learned that Nathaniel was the youngest of the three sons in the family.

Because he was the only one of my sons who had not yet entered my personal space or presented himself to me, I made sure to keep a close eye on him at all times.

They gave off the impression of being extremely similar to one another while simultaneously being highly distinct from one another. If I had to choose one of them out of the group to be more precise, it would be him since he looked the most like Poseidon. If I had to choose one of them out of the group to be more specific, it would be him.

Although harmful, it does not have a fundamentally bad nature; rather, it is just cruel. At least, that's how I construed the impression he left me with after our conversation.

Nathaniel was not gorgeous in the sense that most people understood the term, but he was definitely intriguing to look at, and he exuded an aura that said, "Don't mess with me," which caused him to stand out in a crowd.

He was tanned more than his brothers were, but he wasn't as ripped as Declan was; rather, he had a trim and fit appearance, like that of a soccer player or football player, as they say here. He also had a darker complexion than his siblings.

He had the same red hair that she did, but it was cut in a style known as an undercut comb-over. This was the way that he had his hair groomed. I had the sudden realization that he did not want to have anything to do with me as soon as I looked into his golden brown eyes, which were so profound and expressive that I could not fathom them. His eyes conveyed a great deal of emotion.

Despite the fact that the three Ackerman boys gave the impression of being triplets, it was clear that they were not identical to one another in any number of ways. Finley was the one who appeared to be the man next door, Declan was the one who had an air of toughness about him, and Nathaniel had an air of athleticism about him.

But if there was one thing that was absolutely certain, it was that they now held, quite literally, the key to saving my life.

Fated to the Cursed Alphas
