Chapter 2
The sudden punch left me dazed.
The group that had barged into my home jostled each other to mock me.
"A grown man, and you choose to be a homewrecker? Serves you right!"
"No wonder you're living in a multi-million-dollar mansion at such a young age. You must have hooked up with a rich woman. How disgraceful!"
Neighbors, hearing the commotion, gathered around to watch, pointing fingers and making snide remarks.
One even spat on me to express his contempt.
I took off my suit, worth tens of thousands, and tossed it into the trash can.
Then, I looked at Webster and said in a low voice, "Your name is Webster Leopold, right? You've got the wrong person. I already have a wife. I don't know your woman. Please take these people and leave my house immediately."
Considering that Webster was an employee of my subsidiary and the victim of a homewrecker, I didn't want to hold a grudge over a misunderstanding.
I thought he'd take the hint and leave.
Unexpectedly, he got even more riled up.
"Oh, really? You have the guts to seduce a woman but not to admit it?"
He pulled out his phone, opened the gallery, and thrust it in front of me. "I have the chat records between you and my girlfriend right here. These are all the evidence of your infidelity!"
I took a closer look. His so-called evidence was my chat records with my wife, Daisy Judith.
In those chats, Daisy had saved my contact as "Small Dick."
Our messages were typical husband-and-wife banter, some of which were quite explicit.
Only then did I realize what was happening.
Webster's "girlfriend" was my wife!
And the homewrecker he mentioned was me, her lawful husband!
Since marrying me, Daisy had always spent money lavishly but acted sweet and obedient.
I thought she loved me and was entirely devoted.
But it turned out she was cheating on me behind my back!
And to top it off, she had saved my contact as "Small Dick"!
That was a lie!
Her betrayal, combined with the homewrecker coming to my door and slandering me, ignited a fury inside me.
I glared at Webster and said coldly, "Webster, I suggest you ask Daisy about the true nature of our relationship."
"Ask about what? My girlfriend is gentle and understanding. She can't be wrong. But you—anyone can see you're a shameless freeloader!"
Webster lowered his phone and spat. "A toy boy like you, my girlfriend wouldn't even look at you if you didn't harass her daily."
The streamers fanned the flames. "Definitely, he looks like a kept man. Who knows how many women he's serviced for money."
"Putting on an innocent act for whom? We're not naive little girls."
"That's right. Addicted to selling yourself, huh?"
The livestream chat exploded with hateful comments attacking me.
Seeing the overwhelming support, Webster grew more confident and continued his tirade. "I hate homewreckers, male or female. They all deserve to die!"
With that, he pulled out the spray paint and scrawled six big words on my living room wall: [ALL HOMEWRECKERS DESERVE TO DIE!]
Seeing the glaring words, I sneered. "Webster, you'll soon realize how ironic those words are."
"You bastard, stealing my girlfriend and mocking me?"
Webster stormed up to me, raising his fist for another punch.
He caught me off guard the first time, but now I was ready.
I grabbed his hand and shoved him back. "I'll warn you one last time. Take these people and leave, or I'll call the police."
Webster looked defiant. "What a joke. A worthless homewrecker threatening me, her real boyfriend?
"Living off my girlfriend's money and acting all high and mighty, I'll make sure you vomit up everything you've taken!"
With that, Webster went berserk, throwing and smashing things in my house.
The streamers got excited, too.
"We, the Guardians of Morality, have dealt with countless scumbag homewreckers, but none as brazen as him."
"Must be a seasoned offender."
"Folks, let's teach him a lesson. Keep those likes and gifts coming. I'll give you a first-person view of the demolition!"
Upon hearing this, the livestream chat went wild with likes, comments, and gifts.
Viewer numbers skyrocketed.
Egged on by the viewers, the streamers started destroying my house.
I watched them and gave one final warning. "Everything here is quite valuable. Be careful, or you might not be able to pay for the damage."
Webster grabbed a prized ancient vase I'd treasured for years and smashed it to the ground.
"I'll destroy everything. What can you do about it?"
Chapter 3
The ancient vase shattered on the ground, its fragments scattering everywhere.
An expert in the crowd suddenly picked up a piece and murmured, "This looks like an ancient porcelain. At an auction, the starting price would be a billion!"
Hearing this, Webster immediately stopped, cold sweat breaking out. He hadn't expected a simple vase to be worth so much.
"Mr. Leopold, don't worry. All this was bought with your woman's money. Her money is your money, right?"
"Destroying your own things is perfectly fine."
Their words made me laugh out of sheer anger.
Daisy was a spendthrift, and she also had a terrible track record with businesses. Every venture I funded for her had failed spectacularly.
The division I let her manage saw its performance plummet in just a few months, losing millions in value—less than a tenth of that porcelain's worth.
If she weren't my wife, I would have fired her long ago.
But Webster took their words to heart.
"My girlfriend's money is my money. Her stuff is my stuff. What's it to you if I break my own things?
"Everyone, don't hold back. Smash everything!"
With Webster's command, the group went into a frenzy. This time, they were completely unrestrained, smashing everything with renewed vigor.
Vases, antiques, luxury watches—they left nothing untouched.
They shredded my custom suits and limited-edition bags with scissors, like bandits ransacking a city.
My once pristine and orderly villa was turned into a wreck in mere minutes, littered with broken pieces and trash.
Reasoning with madmen is futile. Seeing them go berserk, I silently took out my phone to call the police.
I could only silently take out my cell phone and call the police.
Just as I was about to dial, one of the keen-eyed streamers rushed over, grabbed my phone, and smashed it to the ground.
"Call the police? A homewrecker like you, where do you get the nerve?"
"From the moment you became a homewrecker, you should have expected retribution."
"Exactly! Just because it's not illegal doesn't mean we can't deal with you. We, the Guardians of Morality, punish scumbags like you!"
The livestream chat exploded with comments: [So thrilling!]
[That's how you deal with homewreckers!]
I glanced at my shattered phone on the floor, then at the mob destroying my house, and calmly said, "I hope when it's time to compensate, you'll be as enthusiastic as you are smashing things now. Don't beg me for mercy."
They ignored my warning and smashed things with even more zeal.
They broke every antique in my display case, and even the case itself was destroyed beyond recognition.
They became more and more excited as they smashed things and interacted with the audience.
"Feeling the satisfaction, folks?"
"Look at this scumbag pretending to be refined while keeping all these antiques. It's a disgrace!"
"These treasures in his hands are an insult!"
"Keep the likes coming, so we can continue our righteous quest and turn this scumbag's home into a garbage heap."
Watching these maniacs destroy everything in sight, I no longer intervened.
I just cast a calm glance at the house's surveillance cameras.
Every bit of their rampage was being recorded.
In the end, they'd all face the consequences.
"Folks, let's see if there's anything left unscathed. Make sure this homewrecker has nothing good left."
With that, they stormed into my bedroom, searching everywhere.
"Here's a storage box!"
Someone came out of the bedroom holding a wooden box.
My expression changed. "Don't touch that."
Chapter 4
Seeing me, who had been calm all along, suddenly become anxious, Webster smirked. "What? Feeling scared now?"
The streamers became gleeful. "Hey everyone, this cocky homewrecker is finally panicking. Looks like there's something really valuable in that box!"
"Any guesses on what's inside?"
They became particularly excited, as baboons freed from a cage, howling at the livestream audience.
The viewers were eager to speculate, curious about the contents of the box.
I carefully said, "It's not something valuable, but it means a lot to me. You can't touch it."
With that, I stepped forward to take the wooden box.
But Webster was quicker, snatching it and opening it. Inside lay an old, worn wristwatch.
"I thought it was something important, just an old, junky watch."
Webster held the watch with disdain, waving it around.
"Give it back to me!"
I rushed over nervously.
That watch was the first thing my father bought with his hard-earned money when he started his business.
It accompanied him through the toughest and most extraordinary years. My father cherished it deeply, wearing it even in his final moments.
It wasn't worth much, but it carried my father's entire life and my deep memories of him.
It also expresses my deep longing for my father.
Everything else being destroyed, I could tolerate, but not this watch.
Absolutely not.
However, before I could get close, Webster suddenly raised his hand and smashed my father's watch onto the ground.
The watch broke into pieces.
The frenzied mob showed no mercy, stomping on the broken pieces!
"No!"
The last tangible memory of my father being destroyed made me heartbroken.
My eyes welled up with tears involuntarily.
This was the second time I cried; the first was when my father passed away.
"Look everyone, this scumbag is crying!"
"Ha! When he shamelessly became a homewrecker, did he think about this day?"
"Don't think that just because the law doesn't punish scumbag homewreckers, you can do whatever you want. Remember, there are still justice-filled Guardians of Morality like us in this world!"
I crouched down, picking up the broken pieces of my father's watch, my eyes red with anger and sorrow. "You will regret this."
The more devastated I became, the happier they were, many laughing loudly and clapping.
One of the streamers even shoved the camera in my face to capture my misery.
"Hey folks, see this? This is what happens to homewreckers and scumbags!"
"As long as we, the Guardians of Morality, take action, there's no scumbag homewrecker we can't handle."
"Look at his pathetic state. He can't do anything to us!"
For a moment, the chat was flooded with comments and gifts.
The streamers looked satisfied, like victorious generals, their grins almost splitting their faces as they prepared to leave with Webster.
Just then, a group of police officers burst through the door.
"The property manager reported that the alarm system of this house was triggered. What's happening here?"
I stood up and said clearly, "Officers, these people trespassed into my home, spreading falsehoods, defaming, and assaulting me. They've wantonly destroyed millions worth of luxury items and priceless antiques and artworks.
"I refuse any mediation. Please ensure they are severely punished."
