Chapter 4

I hissed, "Is this how your kindergarten treats students?"

The principal looked at me with utter disdain, "A piece of trash born from a poor loser, how dare she call herself a student of our school? We're just throwing away societal garbage. What's the problem?"

Hearing that, the other parents applauded and cheered, "As expected of the principal, handling things so fairly and sharply!"

"That's right, this is a kindergarten for the nobles, not a place for strays and mongrels."

"Do bottom-dwellers even need education? They'll either sell their labor or their bodies. You might as well teach your daughter to scavenge trash now, maybe she'll find something more valuable than that junk car of yours!"

Scott became even more arrogant, "Low-class people should accept their fate. Trash like you are destined to live at the bottom of society, hated by all!"

The air was filled with a barrage of insults aimed at me. The more vicious the words, the broader the grin on Scott's face.

The principal took the opportunity to flatter him, "Mr. Fins, if this matter is resolved to your satisfaction, I hope you might lend us a hand. You know, we're planning to expand the kindergarten, but the surrounding land belongs to the Walsh Group, so …"

Mr. Fins folded his arms and acted like a king, "Don't worry. I'm very satisfied with your performance today. When the time comes, I'll say the word and my wife will hand all the land over to you."

The principal beamed with joy, "Thank you so much, Mr. Fins."

"Mr. Fins, my wife used to work with the Walsh Group too. Maybe you could put in a word for us?"

"My company's shifting directions and we'd love to collaborate with the Walsh Group."

"Mr. Fins, here's an unlimited shopping card from my family's mall, please take it. I hope we can build a close relationship …"

Suddenly, the parents swarmed in, throwing out every trick they could think of to flatter him. Some even slipped bank cards into his bag.

Scott basked in their adoration, radiating arrogance. He slowly walked up to me and said condescendingly, "Do you feel it now? The gap between people in this world is wider than the gap between man and dog!"

He continued, "Trash like you will never experience what it feels like to be flattered and worshipped. But I married Tamara and that alone gives me glory you could never even dream of."

"I'll give you one day. Take your trash daughter and crawl out of this city. If I ever see her near my son again, I'll bury your little bastard alive!" he threatened.

Hearing that, my daughter trembled and hid in my arms, "Daddy, I'm scared … it hurts so much …" Her voice was filled with endless fear and pain.

I looked closer and saw her torn clothes hid countless cuts made by a small sharp thing. Those horrifying wounds pierced my soul.

My eyes turned blood red as I glared fiercely at Scott, "Your son did this too?"

He glanced at me and scoffed without care, "What's the big deal? She upset my son. Be glad he didn't kill that little bastard."

The moment he finished speaking, I punched him hard in the face.

That punch, fueled by all my rage, landed with full force.

Scott staggered backward from the blow.

Just as I was about to strike again, one of the parents suddenly kicked me. The other parents swarmed in, punching and kicking me without mercy.

"You filthy poor scum, how dare you lay a hand on Mr. Fins? You really want to die, huh?"

"Exactly! Your ugly daughter isn't even dead yet and you're already rushing to join her?"

"Being taught a lesson by Jonathan is that trash's blessing. With your lowly bloodline, what good genes could you possibly pass on? You deserve to be beaten to death!"

Even the principal kicked me in disgust.

"Don't hurt my dad!" My daughter cried out, trying to stop them.

But a chubby boy kicked her to the ground.

The principal saw this, patted the boy's head and praised him with a smile, "Jonathan, you're such a good boy, punishing evil and promoting justice since young. Tomorrow, I'll commend you in front of the whole school and award you the Medal of Bravery!"

Jonathan grinned smugly, "Hmph, this is what I should do. Every time I see that little piece of trash, I'll beat her again!"

I lay on the ground, covered in blood, eyes red with fury and gritted my teeth, "You'll all regret this!"

Upon hearing that, everyone laughed as if they'd heard the biggest joke ever.

"Did I hear that right? A bottom-dwelling piece of trash dares to talk big?"

"I'm dying, this loser really thinks he's somebody? Mr. Fins is the brother-in-law of the richest man in the Walsh Family. With Mr. Walsh supporting him, crushing this trash is like squashing an ant!"

"This pathetic beggar can't do anything to us, so now he's just throwing a tantrum out of helplessness, hahaha!"

The parents held me down and humiliated me without restraint. Even the bystanders mocked me for overestimating myself, saying I was like an egg hitting a stone.

Backed by their support, Scott stepped forward and stomped hard on my face, laughing wildly, "Haha, regret now? I've never once regretted anything in my life! I'm dying to see how you, this worthless scum, will make me regret!"

The moment he finished speaking, over a hundred luxury cars bearing the 'Walsh' emblem sped toward the kindergarten and came to a screeching halt.

Immediately after, men in tailored suits rushed out of the cars in unison ...
