Nina went to pick up Selena from the airport and drove home while chatting excitedly in the car, with none of them taking the initiative to mention Nina's matter.

A while later, they arrived at their destination, a condominium in the suburban district of Nova City where the girls lived together.

As soon as they got inside the house and settled down, the sweet and gentle looking Selena immediately transformed into a fierce looking tigress.

Without doubt, Nina immediately knew it was questioning time. Selena might be petite and looked sweet and gentle, but her personality was the exact opposite. And although she herself looked seductive and mature, her personality was kind and gentle although stubborn at times.

"Are you ready to spill it out or should i force it out with torture" Selena asked with a devilish smile on her face.

When Nina remembered the "torture" she subconsciously shuddered.The torture in Selena's mouth was simply tickling but because she had a very sensitive body, Selena's way of torturing her was to tickle her till she had no choice but to spill everything. And for someone with a sensitive body like she had, it really spelled torture.

"I will tell. I would tell you everything, okay? Just don't.. do that." She conceded hurriedly, not willing to provoke her she-devil friend.

At her obedience, Selena nodded with satisfaction after which she said with crossed arms, "Okay. I am all ears."

Without delay, Nina narrated everything she knew and experienced to her dear friend and by the time she finished she somehow couldn't hold back anymore and started sobbing out loud while leaning on Selena's shoulder.

By the end of Nina's narration, Selena was absolutely irate, temporarily putting her aside her doubts as to the feasibility of Justin cheating on Nina. But even with that, she also knew that now was not the time to settle scores with Justin since she had to comfort her heartbroken friend first. But after that...

Hmph!, Selena snorted. She was definitely not going to show mercy to that cheating couple.

"It's going to be okay, honey. You will be fine, I promise. Even if we choose not to have anything to do with him after today, revenge must definitely still be taken! All I am trying to say is that we definitely can't let you be the only one suffering! He has to suffer the consequences of his actions too!", Selena smirked cruelly as she comforted her friend and at the same time a feasible plan began hatching in her mind.

Her words temporarily made Nina forget her sadness and looked up to see the look on Selena's face. As someone who had been with Selena since childhood, Nina was no stranger to the meaning of that expression. It meant, 'someone was definitely going to be in trouble and I am furious beyond belief.'

Immediately, Nina tugged at the sleeve of Selena's dress and asked with cautiousness, worry and concern.

"Lena, what are you planning on doing?... Don't go too far, okay?"

Selana raised her eyebrows at Nina's words and asked without bothering to hide her mocking tone.

"What? Does your heart ache for him? You feel bad? If you really do, I promise you not to do anything but I would be very disappointed in you!"

Nina's face fell a little at her words but she also knew that Selena was doing it all for her and therefore could not get angry at her.

"Selena... that's not what I meant. I just don't want you to get hurt. He's not as easy going as he usually seems. I am just being worried about his retaliation...", Nina explained to her in softened tone.

Selena's face also softened in return on hearing her explanation but still didn't mean to back down, "Since he dared to hurt you.... I want to make him feel exactly the same pain you felt on hearing the news of his infidelity, and maybe even worse. Don't worry, I am not going to do anything overboard after all I am a law-abiding citizen and besides even if I do go overboard, there is still someone I can look for to back me up.."

Sure enough, Nina looked a little relieved on hearing her words, especially the last sentence. Indeed, she thought to herself, that person shouldn't stand by and watch Selena being retaliated upon.

Following that, Selena then told Nina what devious plan she had come up with, though the Selena herself hardly thought so since in her words, they were only repaying an eye to an eye.

At first, Nina was still a little worried but after Selena repeatedly assured her that nothing would go wrong, in addition to the fact that the little devil in her heart also craved revenge, she finally agreed.

The next day.

Various tabloids, magazines and released photos of Supermodel Nina going out on a date, checking in at an hotel, kissing and hugging a very handsome man.

The news made waves in the entertainment industry as that was the first time supermodel Nina ever had a scandal and with a very handsome and obviously rich guy at that.

At the Walters' Corporation, Larry's hands shook as he read the tabloids while wondering the odds of him still being able to keep his job after delivering this hot potato to his boss.

In the end, he took a deep breath, bit the bullet and entered Justin's office.

"There's something you should see, sir." He reported with anxiety hidden in his voice.

Justin raised his head slowly from the piles of documents which needed his approval.

He stared coldly at his assistant and spatted out, "This better be important. You know the rules if it isn't..."

There was a rule in W Corps that stated that no one was ever to disturb the boss unless it was an absolutely important matter. If the rule was broken by anyone, a light punishment was getting demoted and the heavy one was getting sacked.

Larry's heart shook violently hearing his boss' words but he still feigned calmness before passing the tabloids to him.

After all, some important things could not be delayed, especially when it was related to that person...

Taking the tabloids from Larry, Justin calmly began to read what was on the screen, but at the first look his eyes suddenly shook violently before he quickly swiped up the pages impatiently. Everything written on screen did enter his eyes yet he seemed incapable of registering it onto his brain.

His first impression was,'Someone was framing Nina.'

The second was, 'This definitely isn't true! It was all photoshopped or maybe the person in the photo wasn't Nina but a look alike.'

But he knew that he was just in denial since he knew very well that the person in the photos was indeed his Nina. Her smile, the genuine happiness on her face, her figure, even the mole below her eyes. He was all too familiar with every single one of them.

It was true. The photos were true.

At that realization, Justin immediately slumped on his chair. His heart was in so much pain that he could found it difficult to hardly breathe.

Every part of him seems to be on fire, inside and out.

For some reason, a thought couldn't help but occur to him at that moment, 'Was this how Nina had also felt when she heard that news?'

Looking at him looking so despondent and sorrowful, Larry could not bear to continue lookinh at his boss who was obviously collapsing inwards. He knew just how much his boss loved Nina and the deeper the love he felt for her was probably how deep of a pain he was feeling right now.

Although, he knew he shouldn't, Larry still couldn't help bt develop some dissatisfaction towards Nina. His boss loved her so much but although he missed her like crazy, he buried himself in work since yesterday to numb himself and also to stop himself from taking drastic actions to force her back to his side. Moroever, he was also busy with devising plans to deal with Tyson which had drained him alot and not to forget that there was also that green tea b*tch.

It had only been a day but he felt like his boss already aged ten years.

Feeling the need to comfort and encourage his boss, Larry said, " Boss, it might actually not be what it seems. Maybe they have a sibling relationship..." Even to his own ears, the reason sounded too weak but still, although it might be cold comfort, it was better than none at all.

Justin didn't look like he heard those words as his eyes gradually became bloodshot and his aura murderous and violent, but suddenly he thought of the thought that had occured to him before now.

'Was this how Nina had also felt when she heard that news?'

Yes! His dim eyes suddenly lit up and at the same time the violent aura around him retracted. Thinking of how vengeful the person beside Nina was, it wasn't out of question for her to come up with this type of plan to get back at him for supposedly hurting Nina!

Then, without looking at Larry who had long since moved to a corner of the office after seeing Justin's aura becoming murderous, Justin grabbed his windbreaker and rushed out of the office. He practically ran to the garage, got on his car and drove past the speed limit towards Nina's house.

In his heart, he would rather believe that those photos had only been to get back at him than to believe that Nina had cheated on him.

Meanwhile

"You sure he's going to come?" Nina asked nervously, looking eagerly towards the door.

Raising her eyebrows elegantly, Selena looked unperturbed as she answered unhurriedly, "If he still doesn't appear considering how blown out of proportion the news was... Then I can only tell you this, girl. You might have wasted your entire youth on a scumbag!"

Nina heard her words and lowered her head her long, lustrous hair, covering up whatever expression she had on her face at that moment before answering non-committally, "Um."

Selena sighed exasperatedly when she saw her that way. She was almost unable to help but want to shout at her friend to get herself together but in the end, she sighed helpessly.

She still couldn't bear to see Nina sad.

"He will come. I know he will, okay?", She said with conviction, not because she was trying to deceive Nina but because she really did believe so. If she hadn't been so sure he would come, she definitely wouldn't have made this plan in this first place.

Almost as soon as she was done speaking,the furious sound of a car's engine came from outside. Nina ran excitedly to the window and peeked out to see a familiar car.

"He is here. He really is here." She repeated in an obviously good mood.

Selena sighed inwardly on seeing her reaction while thinking to herself.

'We women are all fools when in love. Even when we are continuously hurt by the men we love, we still uncontrollably pine for them.'

A knock came from the door.

Nina mouthed, "Open it".

Selena took no action and instead came over to Nina to whisper in her ears, "Let him wait and panick a little more."

Continuous knocking came from the door and even after a few minutes had gone by, the door still showed no signs of opening.

This made Justin really panicked and with every lesson he learned in the etiquette class thrown out the window, he raised his voice.

"Nina, I know you are inside. Open the door I need to talk to you. Baby, I am sorry, please open the door, okay?" His shouts gradually turned into pleading at the end. No one would ever believe that this business mogul who was known for being arrogant and prideful will dispose of his pride just to beg his lover.

Finally, moments later, the people inside the room seemed satisfied with the mental torture they had put him through and decided to open the door.

The three of them sat on the sofa, Nina and Selena together on a double seater and Justin alone on a single one.

At this time, Nina had reverted back to the cold queen everyone was familiar with, making it literally impossible for Justin to guess how anxious she had been prior to his entrance.

As a bystander, Selena stared at the two foolish idiots in front of her who were both treasuring their words by keeping silent and decided to help them. Or else she would never know when they were going to open up their mouths to speak!

"I am sure you are not here to have a staring competition with my friend here. So shoot!", She wasn't polite at all as she addressed Justin. Anyways, with what he had done, no matter what had led to it, he doesn't seem to deserve her politeness.

Justin wasn't mad at Selena because he knew just how overprotective they both were of each other. So, although he really wanted to be alone with Nina right at this moment, he understood that it was impossible for Selena to fufill his wish since in their eyes, he was still a cheating bastard.

With that, he decided not to beat around the bushes and go straight to the point.

"Nina... I saw the news today.." As he spoke, he observed her face carefully for any change in her expression which was familiar to him, in order to determine whether she was lying or not. However, he was destined to be disappointed because there was none all. This realization made Justin's heart ache so much until he almost couldn't breathe. Before today, Nina had always been an open book in front of him and he could very well see what she was thinking at all times but now.. His baby was beginning to grow distant towards him and had also began to hide her emotions well..

He snapped out of his despairing thoughts at her cold and unbothered answer, "So?".

Justin's violent temper almost flared up at her unflattering answer but he clenched his fists hard until the veins in them were bulging out scarily. Only then did he manage to suppress the inherent violence in him and ask as softly as he could manage, "So, what is between both of you?"

Nina was unable to help but sneer as she asked sarcastically, "And with what position are you asking me this?"

Justin replied Instinctively without thinking, "Of course your fiance..", It was already too late by the time he reacted and realized what he just said.

"Fiance? You?" Nina questioned coldly.

"We already broke up, so you and I are no better than strangers now. Let's get that very clear."

After saying that, she then smiled charmingly, making Justin's heart beat wildly until he forgot what she had just said and thought that she was willing to forgive him.

"And you.. want to know about Brian and I? Do you really want to? You won't regret it?"

Her words made Justin snap out of his wonderful imagination ad take in the words she just said. He didn't know why, but he had a bad premonition about what she was going to say next. However, in the end he still nodded his head without hesitation because he really wanted to know about what the deal between her and that man was..

On receiving his nod, Nina smiled even more seductively, yet the look in her eyes revealed a strong desire for revenge. Even Selena couldn't help but look at Justin with pity and gloating at that moment. Although, it was a fact that Nina had a gentle personality, it was also a fact that considering how she hadn't been taken advantage as a model, albeit with Justin's overt and covert protection showed that she wasn't a Holy Mother.

She might have been the one to come up with this plan but now, not even she herself was required to do anything since Nina had taken it all upon herself to do it all.

'Probably because coming face-to-face with Justin had sparked her desire for revenge?', Selena thought wickedly to herself.

At the same time, she heard Nina say, "Okay! I will tell you the truth. The thing is that, Brian and I are good friends from Junior High. Me, Lena and Brian are also from the same orphanage. He happened to pay us a surprise visit from Country A last month when you went on a business trip to Country H."

Justin immediately let out an inaudible sigh of relief on listening to her explanation.

'Fortunately, they are just friends. As expected, it was those gossip bloggers saying nonsense.'

Yet, he didn't know that Nina had been keeping an eye on him so the moment he relaxed, she had noticed.

She smirked inwardly, "Not so soon, my love. The worst is yet to come.."

Selena actually felt pity for Justin again at that moment Giving him hope and then ruthlessly destroying it, that was Nina's strategy.

Nina might actually be kind and gentle but that is only towards people who never hurt her but towards people who did, she would be completely ruthless!

"I guess I misunderstood you..." Justin began saying.

Nina interrupted him, "No, you didn't".

Justin's heart that was already relaxed suddenly sunk again. He instinctively didn't want to listen to whatever Nina was going to say anymore. He had a feeling it was going to completely break him apart.

"Nina... Don't.."

"Don't what? Don't say the truth? Don't tell you I also cheated on you last month?" She dropped words that were akin to a bombshell nonchalantly.

Boom! Fireworks exploded in Justin's mind. He sat rooted to the chair while Nina carefully savoured that expression of pain on his face.

"Nina... Don't lie to me... You wouldn't do that. You can't possibly do that to me.." He went to hysterically hold her and shook her as if it could somehow erase whatever just came out of her mouth.

Nina caressed his face lovingly, well, that was if you could ignore the cruel words that came out of her lips.

"But Justin darling... It's all true.. You were away for two months... and he came... It just happened but I enjoyed being with him sooo much.."

Justin couldn't hold himself back any longer and slapped her, hard. It was too late after he reacted and realised what he just did. He just slapped the only woman he ever loved his entire life!

"Baby...I am sorry.. I got carried away. I didn't mean to." He apologized remorsefully as he went to hold her arms.

Selena who was already fuming after he slapped Nina pushed his hands off violently.

"Don't you dare touch her! Get the f*ck out of here. She doesn't need your half-assed apology"

Justin looked to Nina for help but what he saw made him freeze.
