Chapter 1

My nanny's daughter, Kimberly, taking advantage of my father's affection, acted as a bully at work while impersonating me.

She feigned good behavior to please my father and flaunted his Rolls Royce during her commute to showcase her status.

Additionally, she secretly wore my clothes and accessories to project the image of a celebrity.

In the office, those who saw her rising popularity fawned over her, feeding her vanity.

Yet, at home, she manipulated me psychologically, making me feel like a burden to my parents.

In my previous life, her manipulation led to my severe depression and eventual suicide.

After my death, she schemed to transfer my parents' company inheritance to herself.

Ultimately, she not only ousted my parents from the company but also drove them out of our villa, leading to their tragic deaths in a car accident.

Upon reopening my eyes, I found I was reborn to the day I graduated from university, ready to start my career at the company.

"Kimberly, the bag you're carrying today is a limited edition Prada bag. You're truly the boss' daughter. Most of us can't even dream of owning one!"

"Kimberly, thank you for speaking to Mr. Dollar and helping my cousin get a job here. I'll treat you to dinner tonight!"

"Kimberly, I was so envious to see you arrive at the office in the boss' Rolls Royce!"

During lunch, I went to the pantry for water and noticed several female coworkers gathered around, fawning over Kimberly.

The moment I entered, they fell silent, and the atmosphere turned awkward.

After getting my water, I found a corner to sit in, but I could still hear their hushed voices.

"That must be the new personnel specialist, Samantha, right? Look at her. She wears jeans and a white T-shirt, with a shabby canvas bag. It's so funny."

"Kimberly, it's your fault for hiring such people. How can she work alongside our elegant boss' daughter?"

"Just look at her deadpan expression. She just started and is already pretending to be someone important. Kimberly, you should teach her a lesson!"

Kimberly sat there, basking in their flattery, laughing smugly.

I couldn't help but feel disdain for her arrogance.

She was just the daughter of our nanny, who begged my dad for a position as a personnel assistant.

I never expected her to be so self-satisfied. She joined the company about six months before me after graduating from a technical secondary school.

I graduated from college this year, and my father arranged for me to start as a personnel specialist to gain workplace experience.

But on my first day, I was shocked to see Kimberly impersonating me.

The Prada bag she flaunted was mine, left carelessly in the checkroom.

The Chanel dress she wore was one I hadn't even used yet.

The customized Jimmy Choo shoes were from my abroad trip.

Even the Cartier necklace and earrings were gifts from my father.

Kimberly projected an image of luxury that contrasted sharply with my plain appearance.

In my previous life, she used my identity to manipulate others at the company, deceiving my coworkers.

When I got home, she started psychologically degrading me until I fell into despair.

Eventually, I jumped off the rooftop late one night and ended my young life.

She even convinced my parents to treat her like a daughter, undermining our family's position in the company.

Tragically, they died in a car accident afterward.

Now, fate had given me a chance to start over, returning me to my first day at work.

Kimberly, I would never be your puppet again.

Prepare to face the consequences. I would make you pay for your past crimes!

Chapter 2

I watched coldly as these oblivious women fawned over Kimberly.

I initially planned to avoid conflict, but trouble found me.

Angel, the biggest sycophant, smirked and pointed at my water cup, saying, "How dare you use such a nice cup when you're poor? Who do you think you are to be compared to Kimberly?"

Only then did I notice that the cup Kimberly was using was identical to mine.

I bought it when I went to France with my dad last year. It was from the luxury brand Bacara.

I bought a pair at that time, each costing one hundred and seventy thousand dollars.

When I brought one home, Kimberly had envied it so much that I casually gave her one.

She was thrilled and couldn't stop showing it off online, but she rarely used it.

Today, I grabbed this cup since I couldn't find another.

I didn't expect Kimberly to bring it to work to flaunt it.

I smiled slightly and replied to Angel, "What a coincidence."

Isabel, another flatterer, chimed in angrily, "Coincidence? Kimberly's Cup is a global limited edition, worth 170,000 dollars, bought by her father in France. Yours is just a cheap knockoff."

Her comment drew laughter from the pantry.

"That's right, given her poor appearance, even 17 dollars would be considered expensive, let alone a 170,000 dollars cup."

"I've seen similar cups for three dollars each!"

"You shouldn't even try to compare yourself to Kimberly!"

A group of people flattered Kimberly while belittling me.

Seeing that I didn't react, Angel decided to escalate things.

She picked up my cup with her fingers and said, "It's embarrassing for the company to use such a cheap cup. Let me help you break it, and I'll get you a better one!"

In disbelief, I watched as she let go of my cup, which shattered on the floor.

Kimberly gasped, trying to stop it, but it was too late.

With a loud crack, the valuable cup broke into pieces.

Angel, unfazed, pulled out her phone and opened Amazon, saying, "Look, I'll compensate you with this nine-dollar cup. You've hit the jackpot!"

I silently observed Angel's self-destruction, while Kimberly looked pale, knowing the true value of the cup.

Angel's two years' salary was not enough to compensate me.

Chapter 3

As the farce approached its conclusion, I stood up, directing my gaze at Angel.

"I don't need you to buy me a better one. Just compensate for this cup."

Angel burst into laughter, struggling to catch her breath.

"You're such a miser. Does it have to be a three-dollar cup? Fine. I'll find one just like yours and pay you back!"

I let her laughter die down before responding calmly, "This cup is worth 170,000 dollars. It's a limited edition from Baccarat. You can verify it online."

Angel froze for a moment before laughing again.

"Did you hear that? She thinks this imitation is worth 170,000 dollars. She's desperate to compare herself to Kimberly!"

Her entourage joined in the laughter.

"Oh my, I can't take it anymore. Today's laughs are all thanks to Samantha."

"Hey, keep it down. Everyone outside is watching us."

"Samantha, are you poor and crazy? Is this an attempt to blackmail her?"

Only Kimberly sat silently, her face pale. I glanced at her, a slight smile forming.

Isabel checked the time.

"Lunch break is almost over. Let's head back."

Angel scoffed and turned to leave, but I gently pulled her wrist.

"You haven't compensated me for my cup yet!"

Angel frowned and shouted, "Samantha, are you out of your mind? Do you want to blackmail me? I'll call the police!"

I raised an eyebrow, unfazed. "Go ahead!"

Flustered, Angel called the police. They arrived quickly as the crowd gathered.

With a condescending look, Angel pointed at me, saying, "Officers, that's her! She claims her cup is worth 170,000 dollars and is demanding compensation!"

The officer collected the cup fragments and asked me questions.

I provided e-shopping invoices, receipts, payment records, and customs declarations.

In front of everyone, the officer announced, "Ms. Oliver, our verification confirms this cup is genuine and worth 170,000 dollars. The surveillance shows you broke it intentionally, and you promised to pay for the damages. You must compensate at the original price."

Angel was momentarily stunned, then turned to Kimberly, pleading, "Kimberly, help me. Didn't you say your cup is a global limited edition? How could Samantha's be real?"

All eyes shifted to Kimberly, waiting for her response.

Her face turned ashen as she pushed Angel away. "Let go of me. Don't ask me, I don't know."

The officer added, "We are handling the case impartially. If anyone can prove this cup is fake, we welcome that evidence."

I smiled at Kimberly, saying calmly, "You should know best whether my cup is genuine, right?"

Cold sweat broke out on her forehead as she glared at me.
