The Final Chip
“Cassie Vaughn. Failed to crawl into my bed, so you started stealing from my casino?”
The giant screen lit up.
Every inch of it was covered with my nude photos.
“Holy shit. A janitor actually thought she could seduce Lucien Moretti?”
“She wanted to climb the ladder so badly she started stealing dirty casino money?”
I was shaking with rage.
The moment I said, “Those are AI-generated,” the entire room burst into laughter.
“You think Lucien Moretti would fake photos for trash like you?”
The next second, Lucien slid a phone across the poker table toward me.
“Thirty million dollars from my casino.”
“How exactly are you planning to pay that back?”
But only I knew the truth.
Lucien himself had stolen that money.
I had simply seen it happen.
On the screen, my parents hung from chains inside a warehouse, blood covering their faces.
A document titled Organ Valuation Agreement was pushed in front of me.
“Sign it.”
“Or your parents die.”
I fought with everything I had.
Still, they dragged me toward the crocodile pit.
Then I opened my eyes again.
I was back at the poker table.
Across from me, the butcher himself lazily rolled casino chips between his fingers.
And on the giant screen behind him, my AI-generated nudes were still playing.
He smirked.
“Still trying to seduce me?”
I lowered my eyes and checked the time.
Forty-three minutes remained before I would be thrown into the crocodile pit.
But I smiled.
Lucien Moretti.
This time—we’re gambling with your life.
My gaze shifted from the giant screen to Lucien, calm and unhurried.
“Was I trying to seduce you, or did you fail to rape me and decide to get revenge instead?”
Lucien’s expression changed instantly.
The trash around him burst into laughter.
“You? A damn janitor? What’s your net worth, ten bucks?”
“He’s the young master of the Moretti casino empire. Worth billions. Why the hell would he bother getting revenge on you?”
The whole room laughed so hard they could barely breathe.
I stayed perfectly calm.
“Look at yourself. The women Lucien sleeps with are worth more than anything you’ve seen in your entire life.”
“You really think he’d need to force himself on you?”
I couldn’t help laughing.
“Just look at our beauty over here. Look at that body.”
Lucien’s companion straightened proudly in her evening gown.
“I can smell the stink on your janitor uniform from ten feet away.”
She pressed her chest against Lucien and looked at me with pure contempt.
“I noticed it from day one. You’ve been throwing yourself at him this whole time.”
“Cassie, stop pretending to be innocent.”
Lucien wrapped an arm around her shoulders, a cigar resting between his fingers.
“See that? I haven’t even said a word yet. I’m not forcing anyone to think this.”
“There are plenty of people here, and every single one of them thinks you’re the problem.”
“So tell me, are you framing me, or am I getting revenge on you?”
I smiled faintly and stared at the scar near Lucien’s temple.
“That scar on your forehead is still there, isn’t it?”
Lucien froze.
I lowered my voice.
“Guess I didn’t hit you hard enough with that bottle.”
The entire room fell silent.
Lucien’s expression darkened completely.
“So that’s what this is, Cassie. You smashed a bottle over my head because you wanted my attention?”
“You actually thought I’d want you?”
He turned toward the crowd.
“You all tell me. Do you believe her?”
The room exploded with laughter again.
“Oh, we believe her.”
“We believe she just wanted to crawl into his bed!”
I looked straight at Lucien.
“You’re deliberately leading everyone to think that, and you know exactly why.”
Lucien burst out laughing.
“Oh? Do you have proof?”
Then his face went cold.
“Right now, I’m telling everyone exactly who stole thirty million dollars.”
“You.”
The trash around him immediately pointed at me.
“Kill the bitch!”
“Slut!”
“Pay the money back!”
A week ago, while cleaning one of the private suites, I caught Lucien moving casino money.
He tried to rape me.
I grabbed a bottle, smashed it over his head, and ran.
After that, my AI nude photos started spreading everywhere.
My parents disappeared.
And tonight, I was dragged onto this gambling table.
I slowly lifted my head.
Thirty million dollars?
I didn’t even care about that kind of money.
Lucien stared at me.
“Everyone knows you can’t pay back thirty million.”
“So let’s do this the casino way. One round.”
“If you win, your parents live.”
“If you lose, you jump into the crocodile pit yourself.”
The trash around him cackled.
“She doesn’t even have chips. Is she really planning to fuck her way back into the game?”
“Her life isn’t worth thirty million either!”
Without the slightest panic, I removed my work badge and placed it on the table.
“I’ll use this as my stake.”
Everyone burst into hysterical laughter.
“A janitor badge? What the hell is that worth?”
But the dealer stared at the badge, and his expression suddenly changed.
The laughter died instantly.
I looked up.
Behind the floor-to-ceiling glass windows on the second floor, someone sat hidden in the shadows.
I knew those eyes were watching me.
Forty minutes remained before the moment I died in the crocodile pit in my last life.
