Lucy POV

I woke up and found myself laying on my mattress. I felt strange since I didn't go back to my room last night. Did Gale carry me all the way upstairs just to place me inside my room? I feel careless because I didn't remember that I fell asleep on the terrace.

I quickly put my toes on the floor and ambled out from my bed going to the bathroom. I made a quick shower and open my dress cabinet to choose what kind of outfit I will be wearing for today. It's my me-time so I have my freedom to go anywhere I want. I decided to wear a plain white t-shirt and baggy pants to go to the supermarket for groceries. An Adidas white sneakers will be more attractive to pair with. I love wearing comfortable dresses especially when I'm not inside the penthouse or office. 

I sat in front of my make-up area and saw my reflection in the mirror. I saw myself but in an aura of a different person and not the coward Lucy from the past. While thinking about what happened back then, the worst nightmare I had with Eloisa and Kent and inside the prison, my dad quickly arises inside my thoughts. I don't know if he's okay or not inside the home for the aged facility. I feel bad for myself for not visiting him after the police discharged me from the cell house. I had no idea that I just died two months ago. It's hard to tell the assigned officers at Harmony House for Aged people that I am Raphael's daughter. They will also recognize me as the owner of Zeus Palace and will take pictures of me and posted it to the media. I can't do that since das will know that it's me on the television and not just anyone. He knew it because he's my father. 

I have one person in my mind to do my task as Lucy. I will visit my friend Cassandra as soon as possible after meeting my son Austin at Eloisa's house. I guess they won't suspect me for any reason since I'm now Greta and Lucy vanished in the world two months ago. I miss my son so much. This was the only way to see and spend time with him without him knowing that I am his real mother. 

I took my wallet and put it in the pocket of my ruggy pants. It's a hassle to bring a handbag and wearing high heels. I want to feel a normal life since I'll go to public places. Anyways, wearing a black cap made them think I'm not Greta Stone, the wife of a businessman millionaire Gale Stone. Besides, weré is not officially married in the eyes of God. It's only a revenge contract for his brother and Eloisa. We're only using each other to avenge the people who hurt us. We had the same advocacy about what we are fighting for. 

I put a little red lipstick as the final touch on my make-up. I pressed my lips together to blend it and fix my hair a little by combing it one last time. I just let it fall down my back.

I ambled downstairs and saw Gale having a coffee at the dining table. He had an important meeting I guess since he woke up so early. He heard my footsteps. He looks up and greeted me with his ear-to-ear smile but it faded when he saw me wearing a simple dress I used to wear back then. His eyebrows crossed after he sips one drink of coffee into his mouth. 

"Oh, why are you wearing that dress? Did you recall what I told you?", he said with his serious gaze but I walked closer and sat in front of him with a sweet smile on my face. 

" I know but I just miss this outfit. Don't worry, I'll be careful!", I promise him and reach out his hands to hold it. He took my hands too and pressed my palm. 

His face smoothly changes and a wide smile appeared again on his pirates-like face. 

"Okay, but where are you going? Can I come?", he asked me. 

I shook my head. 

" Remember you have a meeting. I'm just going to our supermarket to buy groceries!", I mumbled. 

He was confused.

 "We can close it if you want to be alone. I'll call manager Ko to close the mall for you, Lucy!", he told me but I won't accept it. I can't just close the for groceries only. What if some people badly need to buy something today where only our mall has. 

" It's okay. I'll be quick. I won't cause any scene. Don't worry about me." I said and Gale finally permitted me to go. 

He took a deep sigh after. I'm stubborn and he knows that. 

"Okay. Just call me if you want me to pick you, okay?", he said and I nod my head as a sign of yes. 

I just drink a coffee before going. I ride in the cab and told the driver to bring me to the GS Supermall. When I stepped outside the cab, I feel glad to see numerous people going in and out to go shopping. I wish I can bring Austin here and buy him another cone of mango ice cream. 

I wear my cap so no one can recognize me. I walked out first to the fruit section since Gale loves fruits and vegetables so much. Living with him made my tummy puff a little since he was one of the great chefs in New York. 

I slowly pushed my cart towards it when someone bumps his cart at my back. I got angrier. Who was the careless person to hit me on my butt? I furiously looked back and about to shout at him because of his recklessness when I realized that this man looks familiar. He froze also to see me. Our eyes met and I can't hide the fact that I still feel the same even many years had passed. I should be slapped him and choke him to die but why couldn't do it now? I could hear the loud sounds of my heartbeat through my ears. I was blinded by my deepest love for him. He destroyed and left me broken. 

I just got back from my senses when he called my name. My new name. 

" Greta, is that you?", he asked me with his surprised look. 

I quickly bent my head to cover my face from anyone. I won't cause any scenes here. I simply nod my head and smiled at him. 

"You're Kent, right? My husband's brother?", I said trying not to act like Lucy in front of him. If he found out that I'm only faking my identity, our plan won't work. 

I can see in his eyes that he's talking to Lucy. 

" Yeah, yes. We met at the party, right? Ahm, can I ask you something?", he said while looking into my eyes. 

It's a bit awkward to look at him too so I'm not even looking directly at his beautiful eyes. 

"What is it? I'm in a hurry so can you tell me now?", I said while looking at my wristwatch. 

He walked closer and hastily hold my hands. I tried to let go but he cupped it hard. 

" Tell me if you're not Lucy and I won't bother you anymore. Please, I know it's you, Lucy. I'm sorry and I miss you." He said like crazy.

"What are you doing? I'm not Lucy and I don't even know that girl you're talking about! Am I look cheap to you, Mr. Stone? Get off me. I'm not Lucy whoever she was!", I said while struggling from his grip. 

I shouted so everyone notices us. He quickly set my arms free and finally, he went back to his senses. 

" I'm so sorry. I may go!", Kent left me as I took a deep breath to calm myself. 

I could feel the damp in my eyes but tried to hold it. 

I won't cry anymore and I won't be coming back as Lucy Mason ever even in my death. 

Lucy POV

I almost forgot what I need to buy for groceries because of the sudden presence of Kent. I tried to act cool in front of him but deep inside, I have torn apart, broken into pieces, helpless, and damaged. He's the one who made my life miserable. If he didn't hit in me, fooled and betrayed me, everything is perfect even he's not with me. Yes, I admit, I trusted him with my life and it's the biggest mistake made in my life. 

I saw him walking away with guilt in his eyes. He should feel how to lose loved ones since he took our child away from me. He has no idea that the contract made by his wife about adopting Austin was fake. He's a total asshole. 

I shook my head and take a deep breath to vanished all the memories I had with him five years ago. I was so crazy and blinded to everything by loving him back then. Call me bitch, fool, imbecile, and dumb but I was too young and in love back then. 

"Wake up, Lucy. You're now Greta and what matters for you right now is to take revenge!", I murmured as I made my way to the ice cream section. 

A sweet smile painted on my lips when I remember how I and my son accidentally met here. When I saw him crying and to make him stop, I bought him an ice cream. If I had known that he was Austin, maybe I gave my warm and tight hugs to him. I'm a mom and nothing can change that. 

I took three containers of cookies and cream and mango ice cream for Gale and me. Cookies and Cream were his favorite while mine was mango flavor. I went to the vegetable area after when someone tapped my shoulder. 

I looked back and saw Gale following me. 

" What are you doing here? If they saw me talking to you, they will rush to ask me." I said while pulling an aghast look at him. 

He giggled and help me pulling the cart. 

"I don't care. I just miss you. Don't worry, they won't recognize me. See, I wore the same outfit as you." He said and we both chuckle. 

Kent POV 

I know she's lying. She's Lucy and she wants me to forget about her that's why she disguises herself as Greta. I won't let her pushed me because I want to tell her how much I repent for my sin every single day. 

I decided to follow her because I walked back when she shouted at me. I thought she will report to the security guards inside the mall but she didn't. I keep tailing her and about to approach her again when I saw my brother Gale came closer. I feel a sting in my heart to see her smile like that to my brother. How can he find a girl like her in a short time? Where did he found Greta when he was busy at his restaurant in the states? They looked perfect together. If she was Lucy, maybe we look perfect too but she's now married at Gale and I am now a married man too. 

I took a sigh of dismay and walked outside the mall. I lost, he won. Maybe she's not Lucy, maybe the real Lucy is somewhere here. I will clarify everything to my wife Eloisa about what she did to Lucy after we went back to the states. 

I went inside my car and saw Gregory coming inside. I was surprised to see him here since he's not the type of person to go out and went to this kind of place. He loves eating at fancy places or eating delivery foods. 

"Hey, Gregory?", I called his name, and he immediately turned his head around and went closer to confirm if I am someone he knew. 

" Kent Stone? Is that you?", he covered his eyes to the rays of the sunlight facing at him. It's lunchtime already so it's hot in Manila unlike the cold weather in the states. 

I nodded. I slowly pulled down my shades to get a full view of his face. It's been five years but Gregory still looks the same and dresses the same. Nothing much changed about him. I wonder if I can get any information from him about Lucy since he was the one who knows her as my mistress in the first place. He seemed to care so much for her that time so maybe he made a way to approach her to be her friend. 

"Can we talk?", I said as I stepped out of my car. 

He looks surprised but managed to calm after one moment. 

He seems reluctant to talk to me. Was he hiding something or he knew something? Those were the questions playing inside my head while talking to my best friend Gregory. I had many questions for him to ask especially when he cut ties his friendship with me and I don't know why. 

" Umm, yeah, sure, why not!", he replied without staring at me. 

"Hop in!", I said and when he hopped inside the car, I began to start the engine and rolled the steering wheel. 

We will go to the place where we first met and became friends. 

At the school campus during our high school days.

Gale left after helping Lucy buying groceries. He went back to the restaurant he owned. He also visited the company of his father Alexander which is the Ace Wine Group. He was in the lobby of the building when he saw Eloisa coming downstairs. A devilish smirk drew on his face. 

" Wow, what a small world sister-in-law? I didn't know you're super close with dad!", Gale said while clapping his hands. 

Eloisa glared at him and rushed towards him. 

Gale acted like he's scared of her and simply waited for her. 

"What are you thinking Gale? Of course, he's my father-in-law! Anyway, can we talk?", she's still a brat even years had passed.

Of course, Eloisa Sherlock, the heiress of the Sherlocks company can behave anything she wanted. She's famous and rich. Even Kent Oliver Stone can't say no to her dad's request. 

Gale went closer and lean his lips behind her ears. 

" Shall we go to our favorite place, mo kitchen, and living room!", he murmured but Eloisa pushed him away. 

"Are you crazy? What if my husband saw us? Come here!", she said while dragging him with her to the company's lobby. 

She let go of Gale after they reached the lobby. 

Gale smirks again and folds his legs from each other and crossed his arms in front of his chest like a boss. 

" Tell me what you want to know? Quick because I'm in a rush!", he told her. 

Eloisa pouted her lips again. She glared at him from head to toe. 

"So you had a wife and her name was Greta? Where did you get that girl? I can't believe that you will get married!", she seems can't believe it. 

Gale slightly narrowed his eyes on her for her funny questions. 

" Why, are you jealous? It's done for both of us so don't try to tease me anymore!", Gale said with his cold gaze and voice at her. 

Eloisa narrowed her eyes on him. She walked closer and crouch to whisper in his ears. 

"Why should I? I have Kent and Austin. Oh, she looks familiar. She's someone I know but she's dead now. I hope I'm not mistaken!", she said and moved her face from him.

She was about to go when Gale grab her arms and pulled her against him. 

Eloisa looks surprised and confused. 

" I don't know how to control myself but if you tell me to stop, I won't brag you anymore!", he said while started kissing her ears. 

The lobby was empty since everyone went back to their desks. 

Eloisa wanted to push him but when Gale trailed his lips down to her lips, she let her invades it. At first, his kiss was soft then started to get rough when she moves her lips and tongue inside Gale's mouth. It's a fast but desirable kiss. Gale stop and both of them gasp for air to catch their breathing. 

Eloisa was stunned. He slapped Gale after. His eyes widened at what she did. 

"You can't do that to any place like this!", she shouted at him and hastily walked away without looking back at Gale. 

With lipstick on his lips, Gale removes it and sets another smirk again. He just shook his head and head upstairs to meet his father. 

Lucy POV 

I called Gale that I plan to visit his brother's house. 

" Are you sure? You want me to come with you?", he said over the other line. 

"No, I'm good. No one will suspect me so don't worry about me, okay?", I replied to make him not worry about me. 

I heard Gale taking a deep breath. I think he's just didn't want to see me grieving again. 

" Okay. Be careful, okay. I love you!", he said but I didn't answer back. 

"Okay, bye." I simply said and turned off my phone. 

I used the car he gave me and head straight to visit my son Austin. Of course, I will play as his kind and lovable aunt since he was Eloisa and Kent's son even their time is about to end. I'll take my son at all cost even their life is at stake.

"I'm coming, son. Mom will take you out today!", I said while holding my steering wheel and focus on my driving.
