two months later...

"Daddy, I want ice cream!" Dilan set a puppy eyes at his father for his favorite dessert. 

They just got home at the airport. It's been five years since they visit the Philippines. Eloisa decided to build a new building in Makati while Kent will be taking over her family's company, The Kings and Queens Hotel. 

Eloisa hides from Kent about what happened to Lucy. He has no idea that she was put in jail and sentenced to five years because of him.

"Just wait baby, I'll call your mommy to buy it for you. Wait here, okay?" Kent put his son in the lobby area and look for Eloisa. 

While Lucy was busy looking for her ingredients for the new dessert she started to make, she heard someone's crying. It's a little boy wearing a stripe polo t-shirt with jumper pants. His face looks familiar. He resembles her ex-lover Kent Oliver Stone. 

"Hey, why are you crying? Where are your parents? Are you lost?" She came closer to asked the little boy. 

Dilan shook his head. 

"I'm not lost. I want ice cream!" He answered her. 

Lucy holds his hands and painted a sweet smile at the child. 

" May I know your name? If you tell me, I will buy you ice cream!" She happily promises the little boy. 

Dilan's eyes sparkled to her little surprise. 

"My name is Dilan. You're so kind, miss pretty!" He looks so cute when he smiled just like Kent but Lucy was disappointed to know his name. She thought he was Austin. 

Yeah, five years passed and whoever she saw a five-year-old boy, they reminded her about her son. 

"Oh, thank you. Wait here, okay?" She said and the child nods his head. 

Lucy came back with a mango-flavored ice cream in her hands. She gracefully gives it to Dilan. 

"Here. Just wait for your mom and dad okay. Don't cry--" she stops when Dilan called his daddy and mommy. 

"Daddy! Mommy!" He shouted and Lucy slowly got up to see Dilan's parents. 

"Kent? Eloisa?" She can't believe who's she's seeing right in front of her.

She quickly looks back to see Dilan again.

"If he was their son, meaning he was Austin, my son? But he was Dilan. Where is my son Austin?" Lucy asked herself. 

She hurriedly wears her eyeglasses and took her groceries with her. She hid behind the candies stall. 

"Dilan, I'm so sorry you waited so long. Here is--" Kent noticed that his son was holding an ice cream. His face is covered with ice cream too. 

Eloisa noticed it too. She came closer to ask her son who offered ice cream to him. 

"Baby, who bought that to you?" She asked Dilan. 

Dilan looked around to find the beautiful stranger he had a chit-chat with a while ago but she suddenly disappears like a ghost. 

"She's here but ran off when I called you daddy. She's kind to me. She told me to stop crying so that she will buy me ice cream!", he said and the couple just stared at each other. 

Eloisa took Dilan and pulled him beside her. 

"Let's go. Let's talk later." She said and drag him inside the car. 

Kent got mad and took Dilan from his wife. 

"He's your son. Don't treat him like anyone!" He yelled at her inside the car. 

Dilan started crying to see his parents fighting. At his young age, he was lived with miseries. His mom always yelled at him wherever he made a small mistake. He felt like he was not his mom. His dad always taking his side. He loves his dad so much.

Stone Residence

"I told you to don't talk at strangers right? Why you disobeyed me!" Eloisa hit Dilan with her hands on his legs. 

He cried and called his dad but Kent walked outside to have a drink at the bar. They just got home yesterday but both of them were fighting over a child. 

Eloisa holds the child's shoulders and grips them. 

"Your dad is not here. He left us because of you. If it's not for my legacy, maybe I didn't take you from your mother. Go inside your room!" She yelled at him and he burst out into tears while running back to his room.

One hour ago...

Lucy PoV

So they change Austin's name into Dilan? How could they?

I miss my son. He was so sensitive and delicate the last time I saw him. If I had known that he's Austin, maybe I take him with me. 

I was right. His features were like his father. How can I not know him instantly? I feel like my chest tightened and my eyes moistened with my tears. I can still recall the time they took him from me. I wasn't there when he first said the word, mommy. I wasn't there the day when he started to practice his first baby steps. I wasn't there when he was calling to feed him his milk when he was hungry. I wasn't there when he first had his first immunization. I feel like I didn't fulfill my obligation as a mother. 

I jump in surprise when my phone vibrated. I check it and it's my husband Gale who was calling. 

"Honey, I'm still in the supermarket. Do you have a request before I pay to the counter?" I said to the other line. 

"I just miss you. Hurry and get home. I'm starving!", Gale said and kiss her on the phone. 

Lucy turned off her phone and took a deep sigh. She was thinking that if Gale was Kent's stepbrother, then he knew about Austin. 

Since they met that day and decided to accept his marriage proposal, Lucy failed to ask him about his brother. Gale had a grudge against him too so they decided to join forces to take them down. 

Gale was the one who told her to change her old name to Greta. He wants Lucy to be reborn as a strong and sophisticated woman in the business industry. He helps her to be the new Lucy who wasn't afraid of everything that comes her way. 

She was now Greta Stone. A girl who was a billionaire's wife wearing a sparkling dress, high heels, and best smile to everyone.

She immediately went inside the car. She's glad that Kent and Eloisa didn't recognize her. No one will remember Lucy Mason anymore. 

Because Lucy Mason died two months ago by Brian. Eloisa ordered him to tailed her after she came out from prison. Lucy was shot twice in Tagaytay and was buried alive. 

Greta Stone may look like Lucy but she's not her anymore. After that incident, she decided to forget all about her past and move on as the wife of Gale Stone.

Zeus Residence

" Honey, I'm home!" Greta walked inside a three-storied mansion where she had five maids waiting for her. 

She was like a Hollywood actress who stepped on the red carpet. The mansion looks like a palace. Giant chandeliers hang on the ceiling, expensive paintings hanging on the wall, golden chairs, and tables were well arranged in the dining room, and the massive staircase calling her to step on it. 

Lucy as Greta is now living to the fullest with her rich husband Gale. 

Gale Stone, chef cook, and a business tycoon who owns the Zeus Palace in the central place in Manila. He was the most popular businessman in all magazines and tv guesting. 

He was the one who helps Lucy got up from the dirt. He gave her new hope and new life. 

"Honey, im home!" Greta said while their maids took the bags full of groceries. 

She looked up and saw Gale coming downstairs. He was holding a glass of wine in his hands. He looks like a king in his stance and the way he gaze at Greta made her melts like an ice cream. 

"I'm glad you're here." Gale said and as he reaches her, he planted a light kiss on her forehead. 

"I bought you your favorite, egg tarts!" She surprise him and showed him two boxes of Apollo egg tarts. 

Gale's taste his lips feeling excited to the gift towards him. 

"Wow, I've been craving for this since we trip to Korea for honeymoon!" He said while putting them on the kitchen table. 

"Come, honey, eat with me!", he called Greta and she came over to joined her husband. 

She's lucky to have Gale in her life. He helps her to recover from everything that's happened to her. Now, she must act like she didn't know Lucy Mason or anything about her. 

Gale's family especially his dad and brother had no idea that he secretly married Lucy. Of course, Lucy was dead and his wife name was Greta. She only resembled to Lucy. 

Her hair is now wavy and long. Her facial expressions and attitude change too. No one dared to recognize her as Lucy who had a dry straight ebony hair, no self confidence, immature and powerless. 

" Gale, I want to confess what I saw today", she was serous about it. 

Gale quickly chewed up all the egg tarts inside his mouth and focus to listen to her. 

"What is it honey, tell me!", he told her. 

Greta sighs before telling him. 

" I think I saw Austin", she said and Gale looks confused and she don't know why. 

Two months earlier...

Lucy heard a familiar voice behind her. It sounded like her friend she met five years ago. 

"Lucy?" He called her. 

She stops yelling at nowhere and turned her head towards him. 

She was shocked to see Gale. What a coincidence that they met again at the place where Gale discovered to use for problems confession. 

"You? You're here. I bet you had many problems and mistakes to confessed here!" Lucy told him while her eyes were covered with tears. She quickly dried it with her palm.  

Gale took a deep breath and smiled at her. 

"Maybe. I just got here. It's nice to see you again here. I'm sorry about last time because I didn't have time to meet you before I go back abroad." He explained to her and Lucy finally understand why he just vanished. 

" Well, it's all in the past. I'm glad I see you again. It's time for me to go. It's your turn now." She said and about to go when Gale grabs her arms. 

"Please, stay." He said but Lucy wasn't into talking with someone right now. She just wants to find a place where she can have a good rest and peace of mind. 

"I'm sorry but I need to rest. I just got out of---" she stops when she realizes that Gale had no idea what she been through for five years in prison. If she told him that she's been in jail, maybe he will stay away because he will think that she's a criminal. 

"Nothing. See you when I see you. Bye." Lucy let go of his grip and wave her hands at him. 

Gale just sigh. He can't stop her by force and besides, they're not so close to being protective of her. 

Lucy walked in the hallway of Tagaytay tourist site when a gunshot echoed somewhere. She felt a stung on her shoulders and belly. She bent her head to check and her eyes widened when her dress was soaked in blood, her fresh blood. 

She felt dizzy and weak until she instantly collapsed on the ground.

Eloisa POV

Today was Lucy's discharge at the prison. No one can get out alive to me. I must call Brian to tail her and finish her today. Kent and I will live peacefully if I get rid of her. I know that my husband still has feelings for her and I can't accept that his heart belongs to her. I must erase her out from our lives. 

"Hello, Brian, did you follow her?" I called him. 

"Yes, she's right in front of me. My gun is now pointing at her. Should I a hot her now?" Brian ask my permission. 

I looked around to check if someone heard me. I focus on my phone again. 

"Do it now!" I ordered him without hesitation. I don't care if she's my close friend back then. I just want to take her out of the scene. 

I firmly close my eyes when Brian shot her. I heard it with my ears the gunshots, the sound of it echoes in my phone. I am startled when a hand grips my shoulders. 

"Honey, I heard you're talking to someone? Was it dad?" It's Kent asking me about my caller. 

I turned off my phone and told him that it's a call from my friend Cindy.

"She asks me if when are we going to visit her. She told me how Gale broke her heart." I simply lied to him. 

Cindy wasn't the only girlfriend of Gale proposed with but there's a lot of them. I know I'm one of them but I was drunk and loveless that night when I saw Lucy's photo in Kent's wallet. It broke my heart so I ran away and get wasted until I decided to call Gale to fetch me. 

It's still crystal clear in my head.

Flashbacks

It all started with a kiss on her cheeks until she started to like it. Gale escorted her inside the inn like her husband. 

"One room please!" He said to the receptionist and she gave him the key. 

"Room 505 sir." She said after giving him the room key. 

"Thanks." He answered back and help the drunk Eloisa inside the room he paid for one night. 

He slowly put her on the bed and about to leave her when she holds her hands and pulled him above her.

"Do you think I'm drunk? What is your plan? Are you going to just look at me for the whole night, my brother-in-law?", Eloisa began to tease her by slipping her hands inside his shirt. 

Gale was a guy and even she was his brother's wife, he can't deny the fact that his manhood is hard enough to reject her. 

" Is this what you want?" Gale said and in one second, their lips are now entwined to each other. 

"Hmmm", Eloisa moans in every kiss they shared. 

Gale stop kissing her and told her that what are they doing was wrong but Eloisa insisted. 

Until forbidden desires happened.

" Shit!" He screamed when he saw Lucy's limp and bloody body on the grasses. 

He hid behind the huge trees when he saw someone holding a gun then drags her body and placed it inside the black car. Gale slowly hops inside his car while he can't believe what he just witnesses in front of him. It's a murder. Someone killed Lucy and now the killer took her body. He followed him and it feels like they traveled forever. Gale feared that he might lose Lucy. He doesn't know if she's still alive with the gunshot or not. 

"Please, stay alive. I will save you!" Gale mumbled. 

Brian found a secluded place where no one can find her body. 

He quickly digs the ground and buried Lucy's corpse. 

"Goodbye, Lucy!" He said and looked around to check if someone saw him. After checking around he left the poor Lucy. 

Gale quickly ran to the place where Brian buried Lucy. He doesn't know what to do. 

While looking for something to dig, a heavy rain came and Gale's prayers were answered. 

"Please, don't give up Lucy. I'm coming!" He muttered while his knees on the muddy ground and his hands were busy digging up the ground. 

He started to tremble when he still can't see Lucy's face. 

"Fuck, where are you, Lucy?" He's now getting nervous. He must save her no matter what. This poor girl must survive. 

A sigh of relief crossed his face when he felt a human skin. Finally, he found Lucy. 

He quickly took her out of the hole and quickly put her inside the trunk.  She's pale as a corpse. He called his doctor to hurry and meet him in his cabin here. 

"Hurry. There's no time!" He ordered and after he came inside his cabin, he cleans her. He checks her shots and there's one on her left shoulders and the other one was the most critical. Her wounds on her belly were deep and the blood won't stop. He's relieved that she's still breathing. 

Finally, doctor Killan came and he quickly prepared everything for Lucy's operation. 

Two weeks later...

Gale took a sip of coffee inside his cabin while waiting for Lucy. She's healing and regaining her strength so quickly. 

"Good morning!" Lucy greeted him while trying not to make any movement to harm her wounds. 

Gale helps her to sit on the chair. 

"How are you feeling?" He asked her while looking at her beautiful face. 

Lucy still can't forget her tragic experience with the person who shot her. She can't believe that after her stay inside the prison, her enemies won't let her live. 

"I'm fine. Thanks to you. I don't know how I can repay you!" She told him but Gale had an idea so no one can hurt her anymore. 

"No one saw me I took you from your grave. Lucy is dead. If you live like her, they won't stop until they kill you." He told her so Lucy asks him his plan. 

Gale confessed to her everything about his identity. She knew that he was Kent's stepbrother. At first, she won't believe him but when he showed photos of him and her ex-lover and the father of her son, she believed him. 

Gale was the one who suggested that they will be joined forces to take revenge on the couple and Lucy to accept it. 

"What do you want? How can I keep my identity as Lucy?" She asked him and took one sip of milk into her mouth. 

Gale took a deep breath and hold her shoulders to look at him. 

"Marry me. Be my wife. We will change your name to Greta Stone. You will be rich and famous like me. No one will hurt you anymore." Gale said and promised to help her until his last breath. 

Lucy was hesitant at first but Gela told her that their marriage will be fake and he will provide rules in their relationship. As long as no body contact and strings attached, their deal will be safe. 

"Deal?" Gale confirmed it to Lucy while raising his hands for a shake. 

"Deal!" She accepted his offer. 

"From now on, I will call you Greta!" Gale confirmed.

And Greta Stone was born in the appearance of Lucy Mason. 

Eloisa and Kent heard that Gale was now happily married to a girl named Greta. It's been three years since they last met him at Dilan's second birthday party and after that, they lost contact with him. 

They just received an invitation letter from Gale and Greta for the anniversary celebration of their famous penthouse called Zeus Palace. It's been a year they first built it and all investors were now laying on a pile of money especially Lucy who was Greta now and Gale. Their building became popular and even the Kings and Queens Hotels are now on the list of getting bankrupt that's why Eloisa and Kent immediately left the states and decided to stay in the Philippines for good to personally manage their company. The Ace Wine Corp whom been managed by Alexander wasn't in good condition too. 

"Shall we go there? I'm so excited to meet his wife." Eloisa raises her tattoed eyebrows at her husband. 

Kent who was busy playing at Dilan heard her and answered back. 

"Yes, of course. Even Gale and I had a terrible misunderstanding before, I'm so happy that he still thinks about us!" He said and played their son again. 

Eloisa set a smile on her face while texting Brian about Lucy.  She's sure that Lucy was dead by digging the hole he made when he shot her. 

"Let's meet tomorrow before the party." She texted Brian and hoping that she's dead.

Gale and Lucy, we're busy preparing for the anniversary of their penthouse. They were inside their mall looking for Lucy's gown and Gale's suit for the important event. 

They close the mall for the whole day every time they went shopping and do groceries. 

All of their employees were falling in line while waiting for their bosses who were still inside the fitting room. Some escorted them for picking of dresses and some do their groceries with a list with them given by Lucy herself. 

"Put this all in the bag. Your madam likes it all!" Gale ordered their employees.

All of them put all the clothes, jewelry, shoes, and makeup sets, which almost filled thirty bags. 

"Madame is lucky! I wish I can be like her!", one of them feel jealous while putting everything she chose in the shopping bags. 

Lucy was done and she waited for Gale to finish his selection of clothes and other personal things. She waited for him in the lobby. 

A few minutes later, Gale called her.

" I'm done, honey. Shall we go?" He asked Lucy and she stands up from her seat as a sign of yes. 

She put her arms around his and they walked together going inside their Lamborghini car. 

"It's time to open the mall!", he ordered them before they left. 

The couple decided to have dinner outside after they went shopping because it been weeks since they last saw and enjoyed each other's company. 

Even they're known by everyone as Mr. and Mrs. Stone, inside the mansion, their relationship wasn't real as couples. They have a contract and deal with all of this. Once their plan works, both of them will go on separate ways. 

" Cheers?", Gale raises the wine glass at Lucy. 

"Cheers!", She mumbled and hit their glasses together. 

Lucy suddenly became serious and her mind started to think things again from her past. She thought of her son Austin and it breaks her heart to know that she almost had him that day inside the mall but she flinched when he said his name was Dilan.

She remembered giving her som name of Austin. 

" Hey, are you thinking about him?", Gale meant about her ex-lover Kent, his stepbrother. 

Lucy quickly shook her head. He was wrong because she cursed Kent and erased him in her mind, heart, and life. 

"No. It's about my son. He's a big guy now and I hope I can talk to him with a lot of time." Her eyes began to be saddened. 

Gale holds her shoulders to support her grievances. He knows how devastated Lucy was. 

"You can meet Austin tomorrow make sure that no one will find out that your Lucy!", Gale told her. 

" Of course. I'm Greta Stone and I don't even know the girl Lucy Mason. I just resemble her." She replied at Gale and both of them made a wide smile on their faces.

6:30 pm

Zeus Palace Anniversary 

Sparkling gowns,  colorful masks, expensive suits, class high heels, and exotic menus can be seen inside the famous penthouse of the Stone couple not mentioning they have two Stone in the family who had famous businesses. 

Eloisa, Kent, and Dilan just arrived at the party. The whole place was been decorated with a bouquet of daisy flowers and shimmering Christmas lights with surprised fireworks after the event. 

They're wearing masks because the theme of the party was a masquerade. All visitors must wear to be eligible in joining the said celebration.

Eloisa was wearing a coated cream slit dress with a matching white stiletto. Kent dresses in a simple black tuxedo while their son Dilan partners his white long sleeve with a black tie and checkered grey pants. They looked perfect and a happy family. All press and media were restricted to get inside to avoid chaos. 

All guests were there and they just waiting for the head of the party to comes out and start the event. 

When they heard a female voice echoing the wide hall, Eloisa had goosebumps all over her body. The voice was familiar and it's impossible to be her because she just checked her decayed corpse this morning and she almost pukes when worms eat her rotten body. 

"It's impossible. No, maybe she had the same voice as Lucy. Of course, some had the same voice. Anyone can mimic someone's voice." She was talking to herself. 

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming. Tonight, we will witness how our business started from small to bigger! I hope you will enjoy our mini video clip on our business journey!", it was Lucy who called their attention. She was standing behind the red curtain with Gale. 

She was wearing an A-line red evening gown with details at the back. She partners it with her black animal print stiletto. Her long black hair just hanging behind her back made her even more elegant and gorgeous. 

Gale was wearing a grey suit with stripe black and white necktie on it. His hair was combed upward and he looks fresh on it. He looks like Leonardo De Caprio in his style. 

All the guests applaud after Lucy's speech. Finally, the curtain rolled up and the Stone couple were behind it. All their eyes were locked on the main organizer of the party who was the owner of the said penthouse. 

Eloisa and Kent's intrigued too to see who was Greta Stone, who said to be Gale's wife. When Greta slowly take off her masks, Eloisa turned pale when she saw Greta's face. She was like the reincarnation of Lucy. She felt like her body softens like jelly and her heart felt heavy like someone put a weight on it. 

Even Kent was surprised to see Lucy right in front of him. 

" Lucy?", Kent mumbled. He can't believe seeing Lucy here at this event. This is not real. How can she be Gale's wife? 

Eloisa walked back looking for someone to be lean on. Kent noticed her.

"Are you okay, honey?", he asked her while supporting her arms and body not to fall. 

" Can I go to the bathroom, first?" She said and Kent let her go. 

While Eloisa disappeared in the crowd, Lucy as Greta set a smirk on her face. 

"Yes, be ready for what you did to me! Both of you will suffer the consequences!", she whispered. 

" It's her! She's the woman who gave me ice cream!", Dilan suddenly muttered which made Kent ask his son if he knows anything about her 

He crouch and talks with Dilan. 

"Did she call you son?", Kent wanted to know if she was Lucy or not. He lost contact with her when Eloisa changes his phone number and when he tried to use a payphone, Lucy's phone can't be reached too. 

Dilan shook his head. 

" No. She asked me where are my parents then I told her that I want ice cream and she came back with one and gave it to me. She's kind and I like her!", the child said happily.

While everyone listens to the couple's speech, Eloisa was in the bathroom staring at herself in the mirror while gripping her hair. 

"No! She's dead. It's not Lucy. I'm certain she died that night. I saw her corpse.", She keeps saying it while putting a smile on her face. 

She washes her hands and calls Brian before she went back to the party area. 

" Show me a picture of Lucy's rotten body. I saw her replica here but I can't tell yet if she was kind of which or something!", she said on the phone and quickly turned it off after leaving the restroom.

Lucy was dead and that's the truth.
