Chapter 2

This sentence completely angered Anne and the crisp sound of slaps spread throughout the main courtyard.

The servants passing by were excited and wished that I would be driven out of the Sherlock Family. Everyone was ashamed of me, even Anne was no exception.

"I climbed up to my current position bit by bit. Forget it, it's a waste of words to tell you. Get out."

I went out obediently, but William's hand blocked me.

"Wouldn't it be too easy for him to just let him go?"

William pointed to the doghouse at the door with interest. "I heard that you lost your mother when you were young and have never experienced what maternal love is. It just gave birth to a litter and the cubs died. Why don't you recognize it as your mother?"

I clenched my fists tightly, "Get lost."

William laughed. "The cowardly son-in-law has a temper."

He suddenly stopped laughing, his eyebrows and eyes were ferocious. "Who are you? You are worthy of asking me to get lost?"

William clapped his hands and two burly bodyguards blocked my way. "Anne."

Anne raised her hand, "James, you really should be taught a lesson. Hold him down."

The two bodyguards held my shoulders tightly and I didn’t know who kicked my knees and I was forced to kneel in front of the doghouse.

"This bitch is twelve years old this year. When she was four years old, there was a fire at home. She held the water pipe in her mouth and put out the fire. She is a hero of the Sherlock Family. When she was eight years old, my uncle fell down the stairs while dismantling something. It was she who supported him from behind. Every New Year, she can sit at the table for dinner. Trash, if you accept this mother, no one in the Sherlock Family will dare to disrespect you in the future."

William stepped on my head and forced me to prostrate. The dog bowl was in front of my head and it made a crisp sound after the collision. And the cheers of the Sherlock Family servants.

William whistled like a dogfight. My face was deeply embedded in the mud and my vision gradually blurred.

I said word by word, "I, James, will never go back to the Sherlock old house again."

I looked at the house halfway up the mountain and I had repaid the life-saving grace. "Even if the old man comes to find me in person, I will never step into the old house."

William pulled me up from the ground and clicked his tongue twice. "If you don't come back, how can you look at your mother?"

After saying that, William threw me out.

Anne didn't have any mercy or charity throughout the whole process. There was only disgust in those eyes.

"My grandfather came to you personally? James, do you think too highly of yourself? You don't think that our Sherlock Family is begging you to marry into the family, right? You are just a stray dog and I feel dirty just looking at you. Since you are so dissatisfied, why don't I talk to grandpa and cancel our marriage."

"Okay," I answered shortly.

Anne narrowed her eyes, full of hatred. "Ignorant idiot!"

I didn’t know where I offended this lady.

Anne pinched my ears. "A useless waste, why do you think grandpa would look up to you? You are just a liar."

William stepped on my fingers condescendingly. "You are like a running dog when you leave home."

I stood up. Gritting my teeth and looking at the dog outside.

"Don't look at me. Even if Grandpa comes today, you have to get out of here!" Anne shouted at me.

I brushed off the dust on my body.

"The old man saved my life back then. You treated me like this, but it's not a crime punishable by death. I don't want to kill anyone. Give me the Black Gold Ancient Knife and today's matter will be written off."

The two of them laughed out loud. It was as if I had told a complete joke.

Chapter 3

"You dead rubbish, do you know what you are talking about? The Black Gold Ancient Knife? That's the foundation of our Sherlock Family? It helps with wealth and luck. Who are you to deserve such a treasure?"

William patted my face after hearing the voice and helped me straighten the collar of my clothes.

Suddenly, his hands became heavier.

I just looked down.

"Your tail is out, right? Those who wanted to take advantage of the Black Gold Ancient Knife have already been killed. How dare you covet such a treasure?"

"Really? Such a treasure, recognizing a waste like me as its master, I think it's just a pile of scrap metal."

Even the bodyguard sneered and laughed, "He really pretended. No wonder he could fool the old man, he's so bold."

Anne didn't even look at me. Disdain overflowed from the bottom of her eyes.

"Here you go, get out of here." Anne threw the car keys casually and smashed them at my feet.

"I only want the Black Gold Ancient Knife, if you don't give it to me, you will regret it."

Anne was in a bad mood, "Regret it too late? Do you know what you are saying? Well, I want to see how you can make me regret it."

I shook my head, "I wanted to give you a chance, but it seems that there is no need."

I looked at the room.

At this time on weekdays, the knife would have completed the blood sacrifice. Today, this ancient black gold knife was a little irritable. The blade exuded a strong evil spirit. Within three hours, the evil spirit was full and even the gods and ghosts couldn’t save it.

I turned around and left and Anne actually grabbed my arm.

After she reacted, she kept wiping her palms.

"Sign the divorce agreement and we will go to the City Hall to get the divorce certificate in a month."

Looking at the prepared divorce agreement, I signed it without any hesitation.

"You are sensible."

"Can I leave now?"

William said "Get lost!"

"Divorce, how boring?"

William hugged Anne's waist, "Since you can't help with childbirth, it's not too much to ask you to close the door for us?"

Anne seemed to like William very much and she obeyed his words.

She looked back at me, "Help us close the door, from now on, we will go our separate ways."

I was not interested in the first half of her sentence. But the second half.

I looked towards the dog again.

"Did you hear what your lady said?"

They thought I was worse than a dog, so they naturally wouldn't answer me. But it didn’t matter.

"Bridges are bridges, roads are roads. Great, I wish for it."

As soon as I stepped into the yard, I felt the fluctuations of the Black Gold Ancient Knife.

When I walked to the bedroom, I didn't expect the two people to get nervous so quickly.

William looked at me with interest and cursed secretly, "What a waste."

I didn't refute. It was meaningless to argue with a dying person.

The Black Gold Ancient Knife on the knife rack at the door exuded black light.

He was particularly excited when he saw me.

"Take care."

"Hehe, Anne, he is obsessed with that knife. It's better to let him recognize the knife as his father and the dog as his mother."

He didn't know that I said this to them. Then I just slowly close the door.

Through the crack in the door, I looked at the ancient knife full of evil spirits and smiled gently.

Without my blood, this knife could kill one person in one night. Every knife cut the dragon's luck.

After leaving Sherlock's house, I silently turned off my phone.

Then I wish them to be alive and well tonight.
