“You can just give me your essay after class.” I smiled at my student and inserted the chalk inside a box. “You can also pass it tomorrow if it is not possible.”

“How about in your house?” I was taken aback when she uttered these words. “I mean, I am pretty sure I would be spending the night there later.”

“What do you mean?” I grinned. She inserted some hair strands behind her ear and shook her head. Her blue diamond earrings caught my attention, and they were the same earrings I had seen beside our lampshade.

“Hey, honey, who’s earrings were this?” I asked my husband and showed him the pair of earrings. He furrowed his brows and rolled his eyes.

“I don’t know, do I look like I wear some earrings?” he asked back and fixed his tie. “You are the only one who wears such jewelry, why are you asking?”

“But I don’t own such a thing, what do you mean?” I reasoned out and laughed. “I only owned Emerald earrings and necklaces.”

“So, what do you want to say?” he laughed. “I am cheating on you? Do you think I still have time for that?”

Right, I should never doubt my husband. At the end of the day, he has been living a triple life–a businessman, a husband, and an alpha of their pack. He could never cheat on me, who have loved him in all his highs and lows.

However, the way my student stares at me makes me paranoid.

“Miss Wellington, Is there a problem?” I once asked her as soon as our classes were finished. “You have been looking at me all the time.”

She looked around me before leaning closer as if she was about to kiss me, making me move a bit.

“What on earth are you doing, Miss Wellington?!” I reacted and pushed her away. What made me baffled, is when she reached for my tie, and pulled me closer to kiss me. She has a soft and sweet lip, and it made me wonder why she is doing all of that. With all my force, I pushed her away again.

“This is harassment. I will not let this slide.” I gasped and wiped my lips. “Remember this day, Miss Wellington.”

She clenched her teeth and nodded. “So you are not a good kisser after all, maybe that’s why your husband is following a young lady like me.”

I narrowed my eyes and carried my books. My husband would never make a problem, considering how our identity should be kept a secret.

“Miss Wellington, prepare to see the dean tomorrow,” I stated and began walking towards the door.

“It is disappointing that a guy that has such stamina and a muscular body would end up with a conservative woman like you. It should not be a threat to me at all, considering how Josh and I vowed that we would not separate. Josh has too much on his plate to do such a thing, and I believe that he is not that kind of person. I held onto his promise that once I turned 30, we would start our family. “Good evenin–” I almost the drop the cake I was holding when I opened the door of my husband’s office. I saw him, on top of my student, Trisha. “What the fuck?!”

“Don’t you even know how to knock?!” the girl argued while gasping for air. “What kind of wife is she?”

He immediately pulled his member from her private part and picked up his boxers.

“Seline, please listen!” Josh told me while he was dressing himself. “Please, don’t go!”

“I already told you, Seline..” I could feel my blood boil as soon as Trisha twirled her hair using her fingers. “But you didn’t listen..”

“Yeah,” I could use my potions at that moment, but I never wanted it. After all, me and my husband are different creatures.

“Because it is not worth listening to a whore like you..” I threw the cake on her face, making her gasp.

“Hey honey…please listen!” Josh has kept on following me, making me unleash my long and pointed nails.

“Shut the hell up!” I whispered and buried my nails on his neck. “Please don’t fucking talk. You are giving me a headache! We both talked about it and yet you didn’t listen!?”

“Aww!” he uttered and held his bleeding neck. “What the hell!?”

“You have a lot of tasks, and yet you have the nerve to cheat!?” I whispered and looked around. “They don’t have any idea that we are different creatures, yet you are sleeping with just random people!? Let alone a freaking university student! I gave you my life!”

“How did you know she’s a student? I don’t even know she’s one!” he reasoned out and removed the blood on his neck using a paper towel from the table. “Do you know her?”

“Yeah, because you used your head below rather than your head above! She’s my student!” I responded and tightened my grip on his necktie. “Once she discovers your hidden side, she will definitely drop you like a fucking trash, and you will hate yourself for hurting the person who supported you through time!”

“If she found out about me, I will surely reveal your secret too!” he grabbed my hair and whispered in my ear. “And your life will surely be in shambles.” I gulped and closed my eyes.

“Are you threatening me?” I replied and laughed. ”Don’t you dare to fuck with me, Josh. I endured everything for you, and if you fuck with me, you know I won’t let you live happily.”

“Yeah, like how you killed my brother?” my eyes widened at that moment. We both said that we would bury this conversation, and yet he brought it up. I never killed his brother but rather saved him from his abusive grandfather. Still, it is an unsettled dispute among us, since he disappeared. They made it seem that I hid his body, but since they were self-proclaimed good people, they decided not to put me in jail.

“Why are you bringing this up?!” I teared up and laughed. “We both talked about this! I never killed your brother!”

“Then why are you acting like a freaking suspect!” he screamed and cupped my face. “You are not an angel, am I right? So don’t act like you are the nicest among all!”

“So whether you like it or not, you will stay with me, since you are my mate..” he whispered. “Besides, you should be grateful that I accepted you even if you are a hybrid. I could reject you, but I didn’t because I love you, and I don’t want you to die..” he leaned closer and kissed my lips. After discovering that he had been sleeping with someone else, all I could feel at that moment was hatred and pain.

“Shall we make some kids now?” he whispered.

“Not when there is still a naked girl in your office.” I sighed. “Besides, we might turn into a wolf any moment since there is a full moon.”

“Wait for me in the car..” he told me and started walking back to his office.

“Good morning prof–Wait, are you okay?” I immediately smiled at one of my students and fixed my glasses. “You seem pale and sad.”

“I am okay, I just skipped some breakfast.” I grinned and continued walking.

“Ah, prof!” I stopped for a moment and glanced back. “Do you want to have lunch with me?”

“Sorry, I still need to finish some paperwork. Maybe some other time.” I replied and tightened my grip on my books. “See you in class.”

“Mrs. Adams, I am glad you finally arrived in the office. Someone left a lunchbox for you.” I furrowed my brows and placed the laptop on my desk. “Perhaps it must be your husband? Such a sweet guy!”

There was a note inserted in the lunchbox, making me narrow my eyes.

“Honestly, when are you guys having babies?”

“If I were you, I would rather be a housewife and have a husband like him. Every day, I would make sure I look pretty for him.”

“I know right? But still, knowing Mrs. Adams, she would always prefer work over anything.”

I didn’t mind the conversation between my co-teachers, but instead, I decided to read what was written on the note.

“I am pretty sure it was not him,” I assured her and sighed. “And besid—Trisha!”

I froze for a while when I saw the young lady fall to the ground. Even if I hated all her actions, I still chose to deliver her to the nearest hospital, since the clinic was already close.

I almost melted to the ground when I heard what the doctor uttered.

“Congrats, you are pregnant!” Trisha immediately glances at me, waiting for how I might react.

“That’s a relief. I thought something happened to her.” I responded while stopping my tears from falling. “Thank you, doc.”

As soon as the doctor left, there was a deafening silence between us. Perhaps, she didn’t expect this to happen.

“Perhaps you didn’t use a condom?” I whispered.

“I told him to use, but it seemed that he didn’t..” she closed her eyes and touched her cheeks. “What should I do now? I can’t believe I am literally asking the wife of the person who fucked me up…”

“Well, it is your decision..” I told her and stood up. I can see her flinch, making me narrow my eyes. “Why?”

“Why? Are you now fucking someone else, that’s why you are avoiding my kisses?” he whispered. “Is this how you take revenge? Do you think I am threatened? At the end of the day, this is still your home, and you can’t do anything about it.”

“Congratulations!” I smiled. “You will be a dad!”

His eyes widened and he touched his mouth. He began jumping, and screaming as if he had won the lottery. He carried me and started turning me around. I can see so much happiness inside his eyes, not until…

“But I am not the mother.” the smile on his face disappeared. “It’s Trisha’s..”

He put me down and massaged his forehead.

“What? When did she tell you?” he whispered. “She didn’t tell me..”

“You impregnated someone who is not your fucking mate!” I shouted. “Do you know what might be the consequence?! We might get hurt!”

“Why are you jumping to conclusions?” he nervously responded. “I could just tell her to abor–”

I slapped his face. It is easy for him to open his legs and bounce on somebody, but he doesn’t have the guts to be a responsible man.

“Do you even think what she might feel? Why are you always using your head below?!”

“Then, what should I do?” he shouted. “Do you think it would be better if I make her my mate?”

“Huh? But you already have me?” I slowly lowered my voice, as soon as I realized what he was planning. “Wait..what are you trying to do?”

“After all, we are all gonna die, right?” his amber eyes start to appear, making me shiver in fear. “Don’t you think it would be easier if we end your life right now? So you won’t see everything we are about to do?”

He took out his long and sharp claws, and the next thing I knew, I would see pitch black.
