I smiled right back. I gently wrapped my hair, behind my ears.

"So tell me, how are you doing,?". 

Liam asked.

"I am fine, just jetlagged,".

  I replied still smiling.

Liam and I both walked ahead together, we saw a raft, and people were there drinking.

Liam turns to me and said.

"Care for a drink,?".

I was a lot hesitant too but ended up accepting.

"Sure, not a problem,". I said to him.

He shook his head. He walked off to get the drinks.

I couldn't just stand and wait. I saw a boulder a few steps ahead and went off to my seat and wait for him.

A few minutes later, he met me there.

"Drink,?". He said.

I looked behind. He held two glasses of drinks.

"Thank you,". I said collecting one of the glasses.

I scoot a little and he sat next to me.

Liam scoots his head. He was busy looking at a couple cuddling with each other.

I held my drink up. I gulped down everything in one go, only to find myself, crying for water.

"Ah! So hot,". I screamed.

Liam turned back, he saw me dancing around.

"You okay,". He lowered his head down and met my glass empty, "oh shit! Did you drink everything at once?"

He takes up his head and questioned me.

I couldn't say anything. I kept on fanning my mouth.

Immediately he ran over to the raft outside and came back with a bottle of water.

"Hey drink this,". He opened it up for me.

I grabbed it hastily and poured the entire water inside my throat just to get rid of the hotness I felt.

Gradually the pain subsided.

I got myself again.

"You okay now,?". He asked me.

I looked at him, tears rolling from my eyes,

"Yes, but tell me, what kind of a drink is this?"

I said, I  tossed the bottle in my hand away.

Liam chuckled.

"Didn't you see the smoke coming out from the cup,  yet you chose to drink it,". He says.

"Well, you should have warned me, about it,".

I grumpily kept my eyes away from looking at him.

Liam saw that. He placed his hand on my head and forced me to look at him again.

"You do know that you're quite stubborn, right?". He smiled

I laughed. " Well, I'm not the only one,". I said.

He gave me a strange look and grinned.

After that sudden event. Liam and I went ahead to have more drinks.

This time, he volunteered to teach me how not to get my tongue burnt.

"So tell me, about your family," .

Liam questioned me after getting the glass cup's away from us.

He gave me an attentive countenance.

I grinned a little and said, "I'm the only child to my parents,".

"So, where are they now,?".

He asked me.

"Dead, I lost my parents when I was in college, " I got emotional, " I had to work three jobs just to graduate,". I responded, trying not to cry.

Liam takes out his handkerchief and placed it to me.

"Here you go! I'm sorry if I reopened old memories,".

Liam apologized..

"Nah! It's okay,".

I gently squeezed on his handkerchief and grinned...

Liam and I kept stargazing.

I held my hand on top of his boulder, just go feel his hands pressing against mine.

We both looked at each other.

Strangely I got a push towards him and I scooted hitting our hands together.

"I'm sorry,". I said in giggling.

"No, it's fine," Liam says, he gently wrapped his hand around my face and looked at me.

Liam and I got intoxicated. We both fall off the boulder while trying to leave, Liam takes my head up and placed it on his shoulders.

"You okay?"

He asked..

I shook my head. I tried to getting up again, however Liam unknowingly held unto my hand and pulled me down right next to him.

I fell, locking lips with him.

We kissed.

After knowing myself, I pulled away.

"Whoa, what was that?,"..

In a stunned manner I said.

Liam grinned .

"Do not worry about it Sara, don't frit,".

He complained. He smiled afterwards

Frit?

Is that even a word?

Liam looks into my eyes. He held my left cheek with a hand, and smiled.

"Guess what Sara,?".

He questioned.

I went went alone with my thoughts before responding.

"What is it,?"

I replied and smiled later on.

"You're really beautiful Sara,"..

Liam shifts my head further to him and said.

I got a little shy, I moved my eyes way from him.

Cutely running my hand through my hair.

Later, Liam walked me to my room. We were both got a little sober, he touched my lips again and kissed me goodnight.

"Sleep well Sara,".

He said, walking up to his bedroom.

I waited for him to leave before walking up to my bedroom.

Mike however saw everything that happened.

He picks up his phone and answered a call.

The next morning, I felt my tummy hurting, I rose up from bed, I pulled my legs downs finding for my slippers.

I passed my dressing mirror, I had nothing on my mind, not only I saw someone sleeping on the same bed as me.

I removed the blank covering his face. Only go meet Mike, on my same bed.

How the heck did he get into my bedroom.

"Sara, good morning love,".

Mike greeted..

I got confused.

"Tell me, what the heck are you doing in my bedroom?"

I replied, gradually loosing my cool.

Mike gets down from the bed and said.

"Sara, don't you at least remember what happened, right after Liam left,"..

Mike's behavior made me ponder on so many things, he acted as if something happened between us last night.

"Look whatever happened, i don't care, but let me go call Liam,"..

I said. I walked to the door.

I didn't actually foresee that he was going to retaliate, but the second I took a step out, a hand held unto mine and pushed me back into my bedroom.

I tuned back, I caught Mike angrily squeezing my hand...

"Let me go, or else you'll be sorry,?".

I cautioued .

I continued to threaten to call Liam if he doesn't let me go. When the one in question, barged in. He met his brother squeezing my arms.

"Mike! What's going on here,?".

Liam hurry ahead. He pulled me away from his brother.

Mike grunts.

"What exactly does it look like brother,?".

Mike replied. He rubs his naked body in front of his brother.

Liam looks at me.

"Sara, what happened?, Are you okay,?". Liam asked.

I shook my head.

"Yeah! But please take your brother away from my room please,".

I went over to the door.

Liam turns over his head and said.

"Bro! Please kindly leave okay,".

He walks Mike's eyes to the door.

Mike gets Enraged.

"I'm sorry, aren't you going to ask me what happened, between your precious nanny and myself,". He said. He looks at me, pressing my hands against the door knob.

"Tell the truth, Sara,". He yelled. As I pulled up my head, it hits his gaze.

"I'm sorry, tell him what,?". I questioned.

Mike went quiet for a while before responding.

"Can you please tell your boss, what happened between us, you haven't forgotten have you, ?".

He said. He made Liam look at me again.

Liam looks at me, being doubtful.

I looked away. I couldn't bring myself to stare at him, not because of Mike's allegation, but the fact that, after I went into my room last night, to sleep, I cannot remember what happened next.

"Sara, my love, come on, speak,".

Mike kept on insisting. I saw him riding past his brother's glare, navigating in my direction.

He was just close to me when Liam walks between and pushed him over to the door.

"Stay clear from Sara, you've been warned,". Liam said. He shuts the door afterward.

"Liam, open this door right now, you cannot humiliate your brother because of a silly nanny,".

Outside, we heard Mike shouting.

Liam wanted to go out to speak with him.

However, he pulls away when I dragged him by his hand.

He turns to look at me

"Sara, let me go out and speak with my brother,".

He tries to take away my hand.

I declined, "no, please no more scene, I've had enough,". I said. I pulled him over to the bed and made him seat down.

Outside. Mike kept on talking. Until we couldn't hear his voice again.

"He must have left,". Liam said.

"Yeah ! Thank God,". I replied I felt a lot relieved by that.

Meanwhile, Tatiana met up with Mike on the way to his room at the hotel.

He had just his boxers on.

"Oh my gosh! You look homeless, don't tell me you got robbed,?". She couldn't contain her emotion.

Mike grunted, " no, on the contrary, my brother, sent me away from Sara's room, "

He tells. Tatiana walked with him to his

room.

"Wait! What were you doing with Sara inside her room, perhaps did you both do anything?".". She shuts the door behind her.

Mike walks to his suitcase, he brought a shirt and a pair of trousers, he faced her and said.

"Calm down Tatiana, no way, I only sneaked into her bedroom, this morning,".

"Why?". Asked Tatiana.

"Because I wanted Liam to feel like Tatiana is a loosed woman,".

Mike tells, he bought out his towel, he wrapped it around his neck.

"So tell me, what did that workout,?". Tatiana asked again.

Mike grunts, "not good, Liam seems to trust the nanny a lot,".

He walks into the bathroom to freshen up.

In my room in the hotel. Liam chose to spend some time with me, Indoor.

He bought out games we too could play

He sat on the bed, folding his legs against each other.

"Okay Sara, ever heard of the game, my greatest fear,?".

Liam asked.

I came onto the bed, I faced him

"No, I haven't, care to teach me,?". I said.

Liam nods. He takes out a pen and a piece of paper.

He places the pen on top of the paper and said.

"I'm gonna write some numbers on the paper and any number you choose, I'm gonna ask you a question, deal,?".

"Sure, deal,". I said.

Liam took off the cap of the pen, he was busy writing some numbers down when his phone rang.

He picks up. His face changed immediately.

After some time the call gets disconnected.

"Hey, what happened,?". I asked.

Liam pulls away his phone from his ear.

"I'm sorry Sara, but I've got an important meeting starting right now in the conference room, ". He explained.

I was a little hurt because I wouldn't be able to play the game with Liam, but his business is important.

"It's okay Liam, I'll stay here, while you go,". I said.

Liam got up from the bed, he walks to the door, only to hesitate back, he turns and looks at me.

"Sara, ?". He calls as I looked up, " yeah?". I replied.

"Do you care to join, me at the meeting, I wouldn't mind having you next to me, please?".

Liam said. He furrowed his hand.

I was a lot hesitant too. But I thought, why not?

"Sure, I'll join you,".

I said.

I picked up my phone.

As Liam and I left together.

After the meeting. I chose to take a walk around the hotel. I walked past the poolside when a little girl came running after me.

"Miss Sara,?"

She shouted.

I looked back, the little girl was holding a rose flower in her hand.

"Hey, child, how did you know my name,?". I asked her.

She grinned.

"Someone told me,". She rode closer, "this is for you,". She places the flowers on my palm before leaving.

I barely walked further, and the same little girl hits me again.

This time, I met her grinning so much.

"Hey, you again,?". I said. Surprised.

She nods her head, " yes miss Sara, but can you do me a favor,?". She checks behind her back, I did too having no clue of what is happening.

I got back my attention and said.

"Sure, what can I do for you,". I smiled

The little girl, however, bought forth her hand.

"Come with me, someone is waiting for you,". She held my hand as we ran towards the hotel's garden.

There I met Liam, standing under a gazebo, with a rose flower in his hand.

The little girl lets go and ran off, immediately

Liam came ahead.

"Liam! What's going on, Did you send this child,?"

I asked, I got overwhelmed

He nods and said.

"Yeah, she took a hundred dollar bill from me, just to get you here,"

I grinned.

Such a conniving little child.

Liam took me under the gazebo, he gently sat me on the table facing a bottle of champagne.

"This is nice, Liam,"

I picked up a glass.

He smiles and filled my glass with champagne.

It was indeed a good night for a romantic atmosphere, however, Andre's ruined everything by coming in uninvited with his Uncle and Tatiana.

Liam saw that the atmosphere had been ruined. He gave me a little squeeze of my hand.

Andres climbed on a chair and faced his father's gaze to himself.

"Son! Why haven't you slept,?". Liam gently caressed his son's cheeks.

"Nothing dad, I didn't feel like sleeping, uncle Mike wanted us to go for a walk, then we saw you and nanny Sara,".

Andres explained.

Liam faces his brother, who accidentally bumped into another person, unexpectedly

we heard a Mariachi band singing from afar.

We all looked to find out where it was coming from, just then, Tatiana falls to one knee, holding a ring in her hand.

We all saw her.

"Liam Kahn, right before everyone, I would like to ask you," she takes the ring closer to Liam, "will you marry me,".

She got over her nerves and announced to everyone present there.

We looked startled.

We all waited for Liam to say something, it was either he accepts the proposal or declines it.

"I am sorry Tatiana,  but I cannot marry you,?".

Liam declined.

I felt a sigh of relief when he said that however, Tatiana didn't take it so well.

Tatiana gave the ring to Mike and forged ahead to attack me.

Liam pulled her back.

"Don't create a scene, please,"

He resisted her from coming any closer.

She slapped his hands from holding her and said.

"Liam don't tell me what to do, because Sara is to be blamed for everything, ".

She shouted.

"Tatiana, have you lost your goddam mind,".

Liam screamed. He forcefully kept her away.

"Yes, I have, you made me lose it,".

Tatiana made a claim, she cursed and blamed Liam for messing with her for the past two years of dating.

I saw that tension around was gradually building up. I thought of leaving only to have my hand forcefully dragged back by Mike.

"And where do you think you're going,?".

He looks at me.

"It is none of your business, I don't want any trouble,". I said.

"Of cause not, but you will if you don't quit your job, right here and right now!".

Mike answered back.

"She is not quitting her job, okay,  she does well-taking care of my son and he loves her,  so please don't you dare brother,". he walks between his brother and me.

"Go to your room and take my son with you,".

Liam instructed.

I held unto Andre's hand and walked away.

The following morning, I heard a knock on the door. I went ahead to open it, and at the entrance, I met a man standing, he holds a camera in his hand.

"Sorry, who are you,?".

I said. He tries to walk in but I blocked him from moving forward.

"Hi. I'm grant, a photographer, here to ask you some questions,".

He said, he flashed the light of the camera to my eyes, which made me go blind for some seconds.

He pulled me away from the door and he barged in uninvited.

I heard him clinking photos.

I finally got myself back, I turned back and he was taking pictures of my bedroom, I rushed ahead and grabbed him by his shirt.

"What the hell! Who are you,?" I yelled.

"Ma'am, my name is a grant and I am here to ask you some questions,".

He said again. He took my hands away, anf pushed me.

I alarmed.

"Look here mister, I do not know who you are, so please get out of my room, if you don't want me to call security,".

I picked up my phone.

I was just about to phone security when he grabbed my phone and disconnected the call.

"Ma'am, can you please, calm down?".

He said. He pushed me onto the bed later on.

And savagely climbed on me.

"Help me, anybody, Liam,".

I screamed.

The man takes out a handkerchief and shoved it inside my mouth.

I couldn't speak.

He was just about to take off my clothes when Liam comes in.

He met me in a tight spot.

"Hey! Get away from her".

Liam attacked. He punched him and helped me up.

" Are you okay?"

He asked.

"Yes, thanks to you,"

I replied.

The man wanted to run. But Liam turns back in time and punched him as he falls unconscious.

"Sara, call the police,".

Liam said, he gave me his phone.

After that. Liam left me to rest, he barely took a walk inside the room, when Mike walks in behind, angrily slamming the door.

He turns and confronted him.

"Hey! You okay brother?". Liam asked.

"Are you seriously asking me, what happened in Sara's bedroom,?". Mike questioned further.

Liam rolls his eyes, " why are you asking me, brother, don't you know,". He said.

He took off his jacket.

Mike grinned.

" I do, wow brother! You sure care a lot about your nanny, you're the definition of a night in shining armor, ?".

He tells. He mocked his brother..

Liam saw the look of disdain on his face.

"Yes! Like any other person, I do care, Mike, so what are you saying,?". 

He replied.

Mike laughed.

"Oh please brother, don't preach the act of humanity to me, because you do know the importance you give to her is quite different from what you give others, brother,". 

He said.  He pressed his hand against each other.

Liam looks at him.

"How! I don't understand,"  he questioned.

"Are you asking me why, or you just don't want to see the truth,?". Mike was repulsed by his brother's question.

He faces the door also and left.

An hour later, I  came out of the elevator door, I passed the conference hall when I noticed some news channels walking inside in a hurry.

I had no idea what was happening, but the huge crowd sauntering in pushed me in.

I met Liam at the podium holding a microphone in his hand.

Wait, did he perhaps call for the press conference?

I rode ahead, I tried to walk my way ahead to the closer, but on the way, I hit into Tatiana.

"Why can't you stay away from me,?".

She said as she hissed at my sight.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there,". I said. I turned away leaving, when my hand got held back, I thought Tatiana was holding my hand only to turn back and find someone else.

Liam was pressing against my hand.

"You,?". I said. Surprised.

"Yeah, come with me, Sara,".

Liam said. He walks over to the podium.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I want to say a huge thank you for coming over on such short notice, but I've got an important announcement,".

Liam said. He spoke through the microphone.

He pushed me forward to himself. Holding unto my hand.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is Sara Scott, my son's nanny, and starting from tonight, I've decided to consider getting married to her, and not Tatiana,".

Liam announced to everyone.

Hearing him say that, I immediately took my hand away from him.

From the crowd, I spotted Tatiana.

She wasn't happy at all. And so was Mike.

Liam walks away, abandoning me at the podium alone.

How dare he make such a huge announcement and most importantly, why?
