Chapter 2
Amanda pushed the door open and walked in, only to see such a scene.
I was pinned to the ground by several people, the scissors had torn my clothes, revealing my fair skin underneath.
A few men nearby were leering at me, their hands ready to grope.
"You all!"
Amanda was furious. She rushed over and pushed all of them away, her face full of anger.
"What are you doing! There are bodyguards outside; if you treat the young lady like this, beware..."
She didn't finish her sentence before one of the men shoved her to the ground.
I shook my head at Aunt Amanda, signaling her to go out and get help.
But it was already too late.
Amanda had been restrained.
Even the gift I had prepared for Nora slipped from my hands and fell to the ground.
Nora bent down to pick it up and opened it to take a look.
A flash of amazement crossed her eyes.
It was a set of jewelry I had commissioned from a famous foreign designer, expensive and eye-catching.
The next second, the amazement in Nora's eyes turned into jealousy.
She grabbed the gift box and hurled it directly at my head.
Instinctively, I turned my head to avoid it, but I couldn't completely dodge the blow, and the corner of the box scraped against me.
Blood beaded up and oozed from the broken skin.
Amanda's face turned pale with fear.
She knew well that I had a clotting disorder.
I had been well cared for since childhood, never suffering from any injuries.
But now, I was being tormented by this group of people.
"Miss! You all, stop it!"
As she spoke, she struggled to crawl toward me, but one of the men grabbed her and dragged her away.
Amanda's head hit the corner of the coffee table, and I saw blood flowing from the back of her head.
She looked weak, but she still reached out, trying to crawl toward me, murmuring my name.
My eyes instantly turned red.
Amanda had raised me since I was a child; she had long since become my family.
I didn't know where I found the strength, but I suddenly broke free from their grasp.
Ignoring the tattered cloth hanging off me, I lunged toward Amanda.
"Get an ambulance! Why are you all just standing there?!"
"Amanda, Amanda, are you okay?"
"Don't scare me!"
Amanda weakly held my hand, her eyes full of worry for me.
But the next second, her eyes closed, and she completely lost consciousness.
With trembling hands, I brought my fingers to her nose.
And then, in horror, I realized.
She wasn't breathing anymore.
I collapsed on top of her, crying uncontrollably like an abandoned, helpless creature.
"Amanda, Aunt Amanda, don't scare me! Please, please..."
"So what if a bitch dies? What's all the crying for? It's so annoying!"
Nora frowned, and someone immediately dragged me off Amanda.
The men's disgusting hands began to grope my body.
I struggled, but I couldn't escape those revolting touches.
Tears streamed down my face, and I glared at Nora, "You'll regret this! You'll regret it... Let me go..."
Nora was unfazed, and even took out her phone from her bag, instructing the others to take out their phones and record me.
"Make sure to record this bitch thoroughly. Later, we'll show Jason exactly how she's being used and abused by everyone!"
"Sleeping with trash like her, Jason doesn't even worry about getting himself dirty!"
I shook my head, crying, and as the last pieces of clothing were torn from my body, my voice broke into sobs.
"No, please, let me go, please..."
Chapter 3
My pleas had no effect.
Nora even stepped on my face, smugly continuing to give orders.
"Do whatever you want with her, if she dies, I'll take responsibility! Jason won't do anything to me because of her!"
With her assurance, the men became even more excited.
My chest was groped by countless hands, and I completely lost hope, resigning myself to their cruelty.
At the same time, my head was kicked around like a watermelon by Nora.
She looked down at me, laughing maniacally.
"Just looking at your face makes me sick. You think you can seduce Jason just because of that vixen face of yours."
"How does it feel to be defiled now?"
I lay helplessly on the ground, my eyes inadvertently catching a glimpse of my own phone on the coffee table.
When Nora finally had enough of stepping on me and moved her foot away, I seized the moment.
I struggled to move toward it.
But just as I grabbed the phone and before I could dial my brother's number,
Nora snatched it away.
She saw the number saved as "Brother" on my phone, and her face turned extremely sour.
The next second, she stomped hard on my mouth with her high heel.
"Don't you like calling for your brother? Go ahead, call him!"
The intense pain that hit me made me almost forget the pain beneath me.
My lower lip slammed hard against my teeth, splitting the flesh, and blood trickled down the corner of my mouth.
The skin that had been ground by the high heel was also bleeding.
My face was pale.
But Nora still wasn't satisfied; she stomped on my lips over and over until they were mangled, only then did she stop.
She snatched my phone and smashed it on the ground, commanding, "Since you like tattling so much, you might as well never tattle again!"
With that, she ordered someone to bring over a fruit knife.
Then she squatted in front of me, grabbed my chin, and forced me to lift my head.
My mouth had already lost all feeling; I could only feel the blood soaking my collarbone.
I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry for help.
I could feel the life draining out of me.
But before I could open my mouth, my jaw was violently dislocated.
Nora yanked out my tongue, sneering as she spoke.
"If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for not staying in your place and seducing a married man!"
I turned my head, my words slurred, still trying to express myself.
"I, I have..."
"I have a clotting disorder..."
"Please, let me go..."
"I will die."
Hearing this, Nora paused and stared at me.
Just when I thought she might let me go, she slapped me across the face.
Immediately after, the knife slashed across my face.
From my eyebrow down to my chin, cutting across my entire face.
In an instant, my flesh was torn open.
I screamed in agony.
"Didn't expect you to act so convincingly, knowing Lestie has a clotting disorder, you claim to have one too."
"You think I'm stupid enough to be fooled by you?"
She laughed heartily, not giving me a chance to struggle.
A flash of cold light.
My tongue went numb.
Then I saw a piece of flesh drop to the ground.
Blood gushed out of my mouth.
I knew.
She had cut off my tongue.
I lay there, despairingly enduring the pain radiating from every part of my body.
Fully aware, I might not last until my brother arrives.
I would die here.
Nora laughed joyfully; she patted my face with the back of her hand, then disdainfully wiped away my blood.
"Didn't you say you had a clotting disorder? I see you've lost so much blood and you're not dead yet!"
She looked at the blood that covered half of my body and scoffed.
"Full of lies! All a sham!"
The men lying on top of me stopped, disgusted and grumbling.
"Nora, she's in such a state now, it's really nauseating."
The last man in line, hearing this, pushed the others aside and jumped back on top of me.
"You all have had your fill, and I haven't had my turn yet. Even if it's disgusting, let me have my fun first!"
My eyes stared blankly at the ceiling.
My heart was filled with bitterness.
But Nora still wasn't done with me.
She kicked my stomach several times, her tone curious and almost innocent.
"Hey, do you think someone as reckless as her might already have a bastard in her belly?"
The men laughed loudly, and Sasha and Andie, who were recording the video, came closer, pointing the camera at my stomach.
My eyes moved slowly.
Fear washed over me.
I had thought they couldn't get worse than this.
But I had underestimated them.
A cold blade cut into my abdomen.
I trembled uncontrollably, overwhelmed by the fear and pain of being cut open.
I couldn't scream, only let out garbled, indistinct sounds.
The pain was excruciating.
I was really in pain.
I was on the brink of passing out from the pain, but the next second, Andie received a phone call, and her words snapped me back to consciousness for a moment.
"Nora, the eldest young master is on his way here... Word has it, she might be..."
Andie looked at me lying on the ground, her eyes filled with fear and regret.
Nora, irritated, snapped, "What's with all the stuttering! Just spit it out!"
Andie swallowed hard. "She might... actually be Lestie. She arrived on the flight this morning..."
"Clang."
The knife in Nora's hand fell to the ground.
Her hands began to tremble, and the men who were surrounding me hurriedly backed away, fumbling with their pants in a panic.
I was in spasms from the pain, my face as pale as a ghost.
But I knew.
I had to hold on.
Even if hope was slim, I had to hold on until my brother arrived.
That way, I might still have a chance to survive.
But then, Nora poured a bucket of cold water over my head.
"No, if she really is Lestie, we can't let Jason see her, no... absolutely not..."
She frantically grabbed the shredded clothes and stuffed them into a cabinet, shouting in rage.
"What are you standing around for? Drag her into the cabinet and hide her, throw that old woman's body out!"
"Quickly, clean up the bloodstains! Immediately! Right now!"
"If Jason finds out, none of you can escape!"
I was dragged up like a rag doll.
Nora, babbling incoherently, apologized to me, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, sister, don't blame me... I..."
Seeing no response from me, her tone shifted, and she forcibly dragged me to the cabinet.
A long trail of blood smeared the floor from where I was dragged.
It was quickly mopped up over and over again.
I was thrown into the cabinet.
Nora threatened me viciously, "I'm warning you, don't move! Don't make a sound! Or even if it costs me my life, I won't let you live!"
I was already exhausted, too weak to do anything but breathe.
The sadness and despair in my eyes were almost overflowing.
I watched helplessly as she closed the cabinet door.
It was as if she had shut out any hope of survival for me.
I heard Nora shouting, "Spray perfume! Open the windows! Ventilate! Are you all turtles moving so slowly? Hurry up!"
The next second, the door was pushed open.
I heard my brother Jason's voice.
"Lestie, are you done packing...?"
Chapter 4
"…Why are you all here? Where's Lestie?"
My brother's puzzled voice came through.
Hearing that familiar voice, I couldn't help but cry.
If I could just try harder, if I could break out of this cabinet, I could be saved.
But I really had no strength left.
As I struggled to prop myself up, I listened to the conversation outside.
Nora's voice became extremely gentle; she feigned confusion and said, "Lestie? Is it my sister? Has she returned?"
"But I didn't see her here…"
My brother's voice grew even more confused. "You didn't see her? But I told her to wait here. Andie, go ask the bodyguards at the door where Lestie went."
I tried to move forward, tears streaming down my face uncontrollably.
Brother, brother, I was right here.
Save me, brother.
Nora's voice trembled a bit; she was afraid of being exposed.
"Was Lestie the girl in the little dress? I didn't see her face, but she did leave from here."
My brother thought for a moment. "Yes, I did give her an outfit like that... Strange, what's that smell? It's awful."
"Hahaha, I accidentally broke a bottle of perfume; I didn't expect it to linger so long even after airing out…"
Nora quickly explained. She continued, "Did Lestie maybe go to the bathroom? Or…"
Before she could finish, Jason picked up the gift I had originally prepared for Nora from the table.
"This should be the gift Lestie prepared for you. Wait."
His voice suddenly turned serious.
"Why is there blood on it?"
For a moment, Nora didn't say anything, and I used all my remaining strength to bang against the cabinet door.
It was a very light thud.
My heart sank.
Because the cabinet door was blocked by someone.
I heard my brother say in despair.
"Let's go to the surveillance room to see what happened here."
But brother, by the time you return.
I might be dead.
I gritted my teeth, waiting for the person outside the door to move.
Hearing the footsteps moving away, I knew if I didn't make a move now, I'd have no chance.
I wanted to survive.
I wanted to survive.
I took a deep breath and rushed out with a brave face.
"Bang!"
The cabinet door flew open.
I couldn't stop myself and fell heavily to the ground, my wounds tearing open again, causing blood to pour out from beneath me.
The pain was so intense I couldn't even curl up, my breaths faint and shallow.
I could only hear my brother's panicked shouts.
"…Lestie?"
"Lestie!!"
