Chapter 4
It was just that the name he called out now was a completely unfamiliar name.
"Rachel, good baby."
"Samuel, who do you like more, me or Giselle?"
Samuel's voice stopped and there was silence all around.
Giselle subconsciously held his breath, but he didn't expect that Rachel's panicked low scream would come out first than hearing Samuel's answer.
"We agreed not to mention her. You're not being good again."
Giselle finally regained control of her body at this moment and she almost hung up in a panic. Their voices still seemed to linger in her ears.
When they first got together, Samuel took care of their food, clothing, housing and transportation with ease. But when it was late at night and everyone was asleep, his ears would turn red at the slightest touch and he couldn't say a word for a long time.
She remembered him saying, "Giselle, if you don't like it, I won't force you, I respect your wishes. "
Samuel had several relationships when he was young and ignorant, but they all ended in failure. When his friends first learned that Giselle and Samuel were together, they all bet that they would break up within two months.
After Samuel learned about this ridiculous bet, he went to the man's house and beat him into the hospital and cut off all contact from then on. He even broke off the relationship with Giselle despite his parents' opposition.
From that day on, they knew that Samuel was sincere to Giselle. She was different. Giselle and Samuel had come all the way to now and had experienced countless ups and downs. Giselle was sensitive and fragile and Samuel was moved her with his tenderness and patience again and again.
She was hungry at three o'clock in the morning and Samuel got up and cooked for her while rubbing his eyes. When she went shopping, she looked at the clothes in the cupboard for a few more times and Samuel would pack them and send them to her doorstep the next day. She liked a certain singer and Samuel spent a lot of money to book a small concert for her.
He had too many preferences for her. But now everything has changed.
Giselle took a deep breath and watched the video that was half edited. She told herself not to lose her composure. She bought several influential marketing accounts to spread her videos, allowing those who did not know the truth to lead the rhythm, waiting for public opinion fermented.
Between Giselle and Samuel, the one who wanted to get married more was Samuel. In the eyes of outsiders, they were a perfect match made in heaven. After being together for so long, holding a wedding was a foregone conclusion. So no one would question the authenticity of the news. Even Samuel's friends were curious about how amazing the wedding would be for Samuel, who had made such a grand confession.
It all depended on what Samuel chose. Of course, no matter what he chose, the outcome would be the same. If Samuel denied the wedding with Giselle, she would publish a video of Samuel cheating on the Internet on the same day. If Samuel admitted to the wedding with Giselle, she would show the video of Samuel's cheating at the wedding and on the whole network.
She wanted him to be ruined, fly away and start anew in a place far away from all the hustle and bustle and troubles.
At four o'clock in the morning, Samuel hurried back.
Giselle was woken up by him and Samuel's eyes were dark and bright, holding her face.
"Baby, the news about our wedding has spread like crazy in the circle. Before, you always said that you would talk about marriage after your career stabilized. Now all the unstable factors have disappeared. Why don't we go with the flow and start our married life?!"
"Giselle, you know I have wanted to marry you for a long time. Give me a chance, okay? ”
Chapter 5
Samuel was actually serious when he said this, after all, his love for Giselle was real. When he saw Giselle happy, he felt happy from the bottom of his heart. When he saw Giselle was troubled, he thought about solving the problem first. In a way, Giselle was already his whole world.
If Samuel was going to start a married life with someone one day, that person could only be Giselle. Because he loved her. He would always willing to give everything for her.
For a moment, Giselle almost forgot the low gasp on the other end of the phone not long ago. The strange women's perfume penetrated into Giselle's nose and she was belatedly aware of the disgusting smell in the air.
He climbed onto his own bed right after getting off Rachel's bed. She quickly came to her senses.
"Okay."
"Then let's go try on the wedding dress tomorrow. "
Giselle nodded, thinking, how disgusting.
Samuel seemed really tired and after everything was settled, he fell asleep contentedly.
Giselle turned on her phone and sure enough, the fan named "Rach", oh no, she should be called Rachel. Rachel sent several messages in one breath.
"You shameless guy, he finally agreed to give me a wedding, why did you ruin it?!"
"You did it on purpose, right? Of course you did it on purpose! You did it to take Samuel away from me."
It seemed that she knew Giselle's identity from the beginning and sent those videos to her ostensibly to ask her to edit them, but in fact she wanted to persuade her to give up her position. But she didn't expect that Giselle kept the whole network a secret and made the matter so big that it was irreversible.
"Do you think he will love you like this?"
She sent a picture and the moment Giselle saw it clearly, her mind went blank.
It was a bracelet cut into several pieces. It was the peace rope that Giselle had begged for in the snow. Samuel had promised himself that he would never take it off, but now it was under Rachel's feet, covered in mud.
"When he was making it, he thought it was in the way, so he threw it away."
When Giselle woke up the next day, Samuel had already washed up and was tinkering in the kitchen.
Spread butter on the bread and fry it on both sides until it is golden brown, fry two sunny-side up eggs, fry four slices of bacon in the extra space in the pan and finally put lettuce and tomato slices in. After assembling them one by one, add a cup of hot milk to make today's loving breakfast.
When Giselle was brushing her teeth, Samuel was like a naughty child, fiddling with her hair.
"Baby, why are you so beautiful."
As he watched, Samuel couldn't help but kiss her. Giselle didn't look at him, washing her face by herself and deliberately splashed water on him, trying to keep Samuel away from her without making a sound.
Samuel didn't care at all and volunteered to apply lotion to her, saying that he was too busy recently and didn't have much time to look at her. Giselle didn't refuse, after all, she would tear this false happiness to pieces in a few days, leaving him in endless regret and guilt.
As she watched him getting closer and closer, she felt sick. When Samuel's calloused fingertips slid across Giselle's face, Giselle felt as if she was in another world for no reason. How long had it been since he had looked at her carefully like this?
She only remembered that one day, Samuel told her that there was too much work at the company and he had to come back later. Every night, Giselle would sit on the sofa and wait for him to come back. He did not disappoint her and always brought some small things. Sometimes two strings of candied haws, sometimes a small cake, sometimes sweet roasted sweet potatoes and new jewelry would be delivered the next day.
Chapter 6
Now that she thought about it, it should be that Samuel felt guilty after satisfying himself in another bed and he wanted to compensate her.
Samuel looked at Giselle with a very complicated look. He didn't know when his Giselle had a few fine lines at the end of her eyes. He was too careless about her. Giselle liked beauty the most. After marriage, he would pamper her a thousand times and make his Giselle happy forever.
The two came to the most upscale wedding dress shop in San Jose. Today, the wedding dress shop only welcomed Giselle as a guest. All the wedding dresses in the store were tailor-made for Giselle. More than a dozen receptionists looked at Giselle with envy in their eyes.
Giselle smiled self-deprecatingly. What was they envious of? Envy that she was betrayed but didn't realize it, or envy that her boyfriend was busy tossing between two women.
"Giselle, what do you think of this one? I think it suits you very well." Samuel pointed to one of the wedding dresses, which was decorated with pearls and diamonds. It looked like the bright stars in the night sky, shining brightly under the lights.
But the next second, she saw Samuel's smile froze on his face. "Sir, this is the latest series of works by a French designer. The groom's wedding dress is this one."
A receptionist came over with the clothes. Out of intuition, Giselle recognized it almost instantly. It was Rachel. Samuel's disguise was very good. His expression was only stiff for a moment and he quickly recovered.
He looked at Giselle, "Baby, try the wedding dress first to see the effect. If you don't like it, we can try something else."
If Giselle didn't know everything about the two of them, she would never think of their relationship as lovers. Rachel looked serious and carefully introduced every detail of the wedding dress, but her body seemed to approach Samuel unintentionally. The two of them touched their fingertips unbelievably and separated very quickly.
Giselle walked into the fitting room under the guidance of the receptionist. Seeing Giselle disappear from his sight, Samuel followed Rachel into another fitting room. His Adam's apple rolled up and down and he licked his lips gently.
Rachel was very familiar with his appearance. That was a sign of his arousal. Rachel skillfully reached out to Samuel's thigh and the next second her wrist was tightly grasped by Samuel. Samuel frowned and spoke fiercely.
"Who asked you to come here? I warn you, if you let Giselle know about this, I guarantee that you won't even know how you died."
Rachel's eyes widened, a little at a loss. Obviously, she overestimated her position in Samuel's heart. She lowered her head and responded with a low "hmm".
Seeing Rachel's pitiful look, Samuel couldn't bear to scold her anymore. "I know you blame me, but it has already happened. Everyone in the city knows about Giselle and I. I can't have a wedding with you on that day, otherwise where will the Fernandez Family put its face. You can understand me, right?"
As Samuel said this, Rachel's eyes turned red. She blinked and tears fell on Samuel's chest. A tear soaked her shirt and also disturbed Samuel's last bit of reason.
"You are simply a goblin." Samuel kissed her hard, his hand wandered around Rachel's waist and pinched her hard. Rachel's sobs were blocked in her throat and she uttered a muffled hum.
Samuel took off her clothes and the two made unbearable noises.
What Samuel didn't know was that the fitting room in the wedding dress shop had a special structure. He thought Rachel took him around to the farthest place from Giselle, but he didn't know that behind the thin wall panel was Giselle, who was as disappointed as ashes.
Giselle looked at herself in the mirror, wearing a gorgeous wedding dress but looking haggard and felt that every minute and every second of the past seven years was a joke.
