Chapter 1

Three months after Zach and I got married, he had a car accident and lost his memory.

He forgot everything about us, except for his childhood sweetheart, Serena.

For Serena, he cheated me of a kidney and kicked me out of the Blanton Family, making me a joke.

Later, I had a miscarriage and heard him talking on the phone with someone else at the door of the ward.

“Zach, you obviously love Harmony so much. Why do you pretend to have amnesia? Aren’t you afraid that the truth will be exposed and Harmony will be sad when she knows it?”

“Shut up! As long as we don’t say anything, Harmony won’t know! When I make up for Serena’s last wish, I will take the initiative to confess everything to her. Harmony is so sensible that she will definitely not blame me!”

I froze in place instantly.

——

My lower abdomen had been aching since the miscarriage. Now, after knowing the scam carefully planned by Zach, my heartache was as if I was being dug alive.

I didn’t want to care about anything else anymore. My body was shaky.

The cold wind poured in from the window. I accidentally knocked over the vase and my tears could no longer be controlled.

The nurse on rounds pushed the door in. After seeing me curled up on the ground, she hurried over to help me up.

I saw her mouth slightly open and her anxious questioning voice came into my ears intermittently, but I still didn’t respond at all.

The nurse treated the wound on my hand that was cut by the porcelain shard.

Seeing that I closed my eyes as if I were asleep, she dared to talk to others in a low voice.

“Ah, she’s so pitiful. Her husband didn’t come to see her even after the miscarriage. She was alone and had to bear the grief of losing her child.”

“Shh, keep your voice down. I just saw her husband and the popular young actress, Serena, go to the B-ultrasound room downstairs.”

After the nurse left, I slowly opened my bloodshot eyes. B-ultrasound? Could it be that Serena was also pregnant with Zach’s child?!

I subconsciously touched my belly. The overwhelming hatred instantly filled my brain and occupied my reason. Last night, because of Serena’s frame-up, I was pushed down the stairs by the furious Zach.

I used up my last bit of strength, tightly grasped Zach’s trouser legs, begged him to save our child and begged him to send me to the hospital. But what I got was his disgusted look.

“Get out! It doesn’t matter if the child dies. You are not worthy of giving birth to my children!”

The pain in my heart became more and more intense. I lay numbly on the hospital bed, letting my tears roll freely.

The first thing Zach did after losing his memory was to trick me into signing the kidney donation operation form.

At that time, I didn’t know that everything Zach did was to save his childhood sweetheart Serena, who had uremia.

Not long ago, he took Serena home in a grand manner.

It was then that I realized that Zach had been secretly supporting another woman all these years.

Ironically, yesterday, for this relationship, I went to the most efficacious church in the suburbs.

I prayed and begged God to return the Zach who was obsessed with me.

Serena said that Zach regarded her as a treasure.

I just wanted to ask Zach if he still remembered that he knelt in my house in the rain all night in order to marry me. He said he would marry me and he did it.

But he also said that he would love me for the rest of his life. Was his last only a few months?

No matter how Zach treated me before, even if I was hurt and my heart was broken, I would also comfort myself by saying that he just lost his memory. When he remembered, he would still be the Zach who loved me dearly.

But now, I didn’t even know.

Chapter 2

After knowing that he had teamed up with his friends to deceive me and hide the truth from me just to make up for Serena.

I felt that I was a big joke these days!

The sharp pain seemed to explode in my brain.

I turned pale and broke out in a cold sweat.

When I thought of Zach’s face, I felt even more ironic!

After recuperating in the hospital for a few days, back I arrived at Blanton Family’s house and found that it was only a few days, the small home that originally belonged to Zach and me had now changed beyond recognition.

I went to the second floor and found that the door of the study was open.

I walked in and saw a design draft on the desk.

It said [a small home designed by Serena.]

The dragon-flying and phoenix-dancing font; the familiar design style.

In a trance, I remembered that Zach had treated me so sincerely.

My heart seemed to be torn by something and I watched the draft in a daze.

“What are you doing?”

Zach’s cold and hard voice suddenly came from behind.

I looked back at him.

I didn’t know if it was an illusion, but I saw a bit of panic and guilt on his face.

But soon, Zach rushed over with a gloomy face.

He snatched the draft from my hand and hid it behind him.

“Who allowed you to enter my study and touch my things? Get out!”

I turned around and left without any hesitation.

Seeing my indifferent attitude, Zach felt an inexplicable strangeness in his heart.

“Wait!”

Zach frowned and stopped me.

“Don’t come back to this house again. Serena is not in good health. This place is close to the hospital. I plan to renovate it and transfer it to her.”

I was stunned, then turned back in disbelief, questioning him with red eyes,

“Zach, when you bought this house, you said the same thing to me. Even if you have forgotten all these, aren’t you afraid that you will regret it one day?”

This was a prime location. Zach spent almost all his savings on this house.

At that time, Exela Media was just beginning to emerge.

At that time, I accompanied him day and night, struggling everywhere. After countless drinking parties, I finally ruined my body.

We had seen each other’s most miserable appearance and we knew that money was hard to come by.

I felt sorry for him spending money.

But Zach just kissed me gently and said, “Harmony, when we had no money, you lived with me in the basement, eating steamed buns and pickles. On rainy days, I watched others sitting comfortably and cleanly in a small car, but you could only accompany me to hide under a raincoat and suffer from the ravages of wind and rain.”

He continued, “I said that when I have money, I will definitely let you live in a big house and drive a luxury car and this place is the closest to the hospital. You have a serious stomach disease and I am afraid... I am afraid that something will happen, so I can have a guarantee at any time.”

Zach’s eyes turned red as he spoke.

He buried his face in my neck and cried quietly, holding me tightly with both hands.

It seemed as if he was afraid that I would disappear from his sight immediately.

I never doubted Zach’s love for me, but compared to the past, his love had become cheap and hypocritical.

Zach was stunned for a moment when he heard what I said and the unnatural look on his face was caught by me.

I didn’t know if it was because his lies were exposed that he felt that there were flaws everywhere.

I laughed at myself.

Zach frowned and raised his voice to try to cover up his guilt.

“No matter what you say, I will never regret it for Serena! Today I just informed you. Pack up your things and get out of here. Don’t stay here and continue to bother Serena.”

Chapter 3

I clenched my palms. My throat was choked and I couldn’t say a word.

Zach had always been resolute. After he sent me to the house in the suburbs, he never cared about my life or death.

A few days later, Zach called suddenly and his tone was extremely anxious.

“Where are you now?”

I was stunned for a moment. Just as I was about to speak, I heard Zach said firmly, “No matter where you are, come to the Central Hospital right now.”

We had been together for a long time, even if our hearts were separated, the tacit understanding was still there.

My intuition told me that Zach must have had a big accident.

I hesitated for a few seconds, finally put on a coat and hurried out.

As soon as I arrived at the emergency room, I saw Zach standing in front of the emergency room door.

But he lowered his head, frowned and looked worried.

Zach saw me from a distance and immediately ran toward me with big strides.

He almost dragged me to the next room.

Before I could ask for details, the nurse next to me spoke up. “You have type O blood, right?”

I nodded in confusion. The nurse asked about my physical condition while lifting my sleeves and pushing the thick needle into my vein.

I felt a sharp pain in my arm and suddenly realized that this was a blood draw.

The nurse looked at me and asked out of boredom, “What is your relationship with the man outside? He and his girlfriend had a car accident. When they were sent here, they were almost crazy. The hospital blood bank was in urgent need and he made more than a dozen calls and felt like crying. I really envy his girlfriend for having such a boyfriend who loves her.”

Hearing this, I couldn’t describe how I felt.

I felt nauseous in addition to being shocked and angry.

My heart seemed to be pinched by a pair of hands and the pain was not over yet.

So, Zach called me here in a hurry just to donate blood for Serena?!

Let’s not talk about how disgusting it was to let the original wife give blood to the mistress.

Did Zach forget so quickly that I had just had an abortion and was suffering from severe anemia?

Did he really not care about my life or death at all?

After the blood was drawn, I rested on the bench in the corridor for half an hour before I slowly calmed down.

I never liked the smell of the hospital, cold, dead and silent. I faintly revealed a suffocating despair.

I got up and left.

But I didn’t expect to run into Serena coming out of the emergency room. A group of people pushed her forward and Zach was anxiously guarding her side.

He was full of fear. When he saw me, he froze in place and a guilty look flashed across his face.

Maybe he had a guilty conscience, or he felt sorry for me when he saw me looking as pale as a ghost.

Zach walked toward me. “Serena’s situation was really urgent just now, so I had no choice but to…”

I raised my hand and slapped him hard.

The betrayal, deception, hurt and concealment one after another had already made my patience reach its limit.

Zach covered his face and looked at me with wide eyes.

“Harmony, what the hell are you doing?! Just because I asked you to give Serena a little blood, you are so unhappy and angry?” Zach roared.

The dizziness after losing blood came again.

I forced myself not to show any weakness in front of Zach, clenched my teeth tightly and sweated.

“Harmony, I’m talking to you! A narrow-minded, selfish and willful shrew like you, whether I have lost my memory or not, I will never fall in love with you.”

The discomfort in my body seemed to completely dissipate at this moment.
