Scorned Luna; Betrayed By My Alpha
I Alpha Ethan Wellington, hereby reject you, Hazel Wynn and accept your sister Layla Wynn, as my mate.
A smile made its way to Layla’s face as she rushed to hug Ethan.
Hazel felt pain sift through her body as the mating bond that connect her and the Ethan was severed. She gasped as she fell to the floor clutching her chest with her hand and watched as her sister and mate hugged each other.
*****
Mated to the man of her dreams and already living in peace and comfort, Hazel did not see his betrayal coming. Worse, he did not just betray her, he did it with the person she least expected, her sister.
After finding out her mate's betrayal, him together with her sister spun a tale to twist everybody's mind against her while he marked her sister who was already pregnant for him before her eyes.
That same night,Hazel was banished from the pack and sent out without a dime to suffer but she meets Noah who offeres to help her and the only thing she needed help on was taking revenge on all those who have wronged her.
Will Hazel ever get her revenge on them?
Will she get her second chance at love?
Find out!
The Barren Luna
Moon shadow castle
Luna Hazel could be seen crying while she run to her room
She just found out her sister is pregnant and not just for anyone but her husband, her mate
“I won’t take this” Hazel cried loudly
“What do you think you can do” She remembered Ethan’s voice
As Hazel's bare feet pounded against the cold marble floors, her world seemed to crumble around her. The shattered pieces of her heart clattering in her chest like a storm. How could she go on, knowing that her own sister had betrayed her so completely, seduced her mate, conceived a child with him? The thought alone was enough to make her collapse to her knees, shaking with sobs and fury.
In the stillness of her room, she heard Ethan’s voice echo in her mind. What could she do, indeed? She rose to her feet, her face streaked with tears.
“Luna” Her personal maid, lia called from the door
“Please leave lia,I don’t need you at the moment” Hazel shouted
“I can’t leave you all alone, and also the Alpha called for a meeting..he said you must be there” Lia said
“I don’t care..just leave” Hazel said
Lia's gentle voice disappeared behind the closing of the chamber door, leaving Hazel alone with the suffocating silence. But the silence only served to amplify the thoughts that screamed in her head. Ethan's betrayal. Adella's smug smile. The whispers of the pack members, their pitying eyes following her everywhere. The injustice of it all.
She knows the reasons for the urgent meeting is because of Layla
Maybe he’s going to announced to the whole pack
Hazel’s mind swirled with possibilities, each one more gut-wrenching than the last. Layla, her own sister, basking in the light of attention, her belly swollen with the child of Hazel’s mate. The thought made her blood boil. She could see it now, the glint of pride in Ethan’s eyes, the accolades from the pack, the whispers behind her back. No. She wouldn’t stand for it.
The door opened and Layla entered, she walked to hazel and smirked
“I’ve always wanted you to know about me dating your husband and I think it’s good as you found out your self” Layla smiled
“What have I ever done to you..tell me why..why did you have to do this to me” Hazel muttered slowly
Layla’s voice was cold, like ice shards piercing Hazel’s heart.
“What have you ever done to me? You have everything!” she hissed, her eyes afire.
“You have the throne, the title, the adoration of the pack. But what do I have? Nothing. I’ve been in the shadows for so long. Well, not anymore.”
Hazel recoiled, a mixture of shock and betrayal twisting her face.
“You don’t deserve this!” she screamed, her voice raw and pained.
“You think I don’t..common dear sister,I do..and guess what” Layla said
“I have your husband wrapped on my fingers” Layla smiled
“I will never forgive you for this..I will never” Hazel cried
Layla’s smile morphed into a cruel sneer, twisting the corners of her mouth.
“Oh, you will forgive me,” she cooed, her voice dripping with venom.
“Once the Alpha announces our pregnancy, you’ll have no choice but to accept it. After all, who will the pack choose? The fertile, loving mate…or the barren, betrayed Luna?”
Hazel’s heart seemed to stop, the room spinning around her.
“Barren?” she whispered, her voice cracking with disbelief.
Layla laughed, her voice harsh and mocking. “Don’t you see? It’s been three years and you still haven’t given Ethan a child. Do you really think he’s going to stay with you when he has me, a willing and fertile she wolf?”
Hazel’s knees buckled, and she fell to the ground, her hands clutched to her chest. The blow was more than she could bear. Ethan, her beloved mate, had betrayed her. Chosen Layla over her. She had lost everything.
Darkness encroached on the edges of Hazel’s vision, her heart hammering painfully. She wanted to scream, to deny what was happening, but the truth was too heavy, too real.
“You might as well resign yourself to it,” Layla’s voice seemed to echo from a great distance.
“You’re a failure as a Luna. You couldn’t even give Ethan a child.”
Hazel's tears mixed with the carpet beneath her, her breath coming in short gasps. She didn't know how she'd go on.
A rush of bile rose in Hazel's throat, the pain like a physical force, constricting her chest. The last threads of her composure snapped. With a feral snarl, she launched herself at Layla, fingers like claws, reaching for her sister's throat.
Layla’s eyes widened in shock, but she moved quickly, ducking under Hazel’s wild swing. A low growl rumbled in Layla’s chest, her face contorting into a vicious snarl.
“You’ve lost it, sister. Ethan was right to turn to me.” Layla smiled
“What do you think you’re doing” Ethan entered the room
“Alpha..please beg my sister for me,it wasn’t my fault and I’m sorry for getting pregnant for you” Layla faked a cry and Hazel watch her in disbelief
Hazel felt the blood drain from her face, her muzzle hanging open in shock as Layla played the victim, crocodile tears streaming down her face.
“How can you..?!” she began, her growl turning into a choked sputter.
Ethan, his expression pained, turned to Hazel, his eyes searching her own.
“You’re so evil and selfish..how can you make a pregnant woman cry” Ethan roared and grap her throat, choking her passionately
“Ethan, no!” Hazel gasped, terror seizing her as she watched Ethan, her mate, the man she had trusted with her heart, turn on her. His grip tightened around her throat, cutting off her breath, her world becoming a blur of pain and fear.
“How could you do that to her, Hazel?” Ethan snarled, his face contorting into an unrecognizable mask of rage.
Layla smiled secretly as she watched the scene
“Please alpha..don’t hurt my sister” Layla cried
“She deserves this,” Ethan spat, his eyes never leaving Hazel’s desperate, pleading ones. “She deserves to suffer for what she’s done to us.”
“Please..”
Ethan released her and Hazel fell on the floor crying and coughing
“Let’s go” Ethan carried Layla and went out with her leaving Hazel alone
The door slammed shut, the sound reverberating through Hazel’s broken soul. As she curled into a ball on the floor, the pain in her throat nothing compared to the agony in her heart, tears flowed freely down her fur, a mottled blend of sadness, rage, and utter despair.
The room seemed to spin, the sounds of the celebration outside now a mocking cacophony.
“What have I done?” Hazel whispered to herself, her voice a raw, broken thing. “What have I done…?”
I Reject You
Nora, Ethan's only elder sister entered Layla's suite with an overwhelming smile. She rushed to hug Layla immediately her eyes landed on her. With a curious voice, she asked
"Oh, darling! I heard about what happened, did that witch hurt you?
Layla smiled seeing how furious Nora was. The look on Nora's face gave her confidence that someone was ready to back her up.
"Of course not, my brave, strong Ethan saved me.” Her eyes glittered, a mix of glee and triumph.
Layla smiled up at Nora, her hand resting gently on her swelling stomach.
“It won't be long now before I take my rightful place as Luna and Hazel… well, she can stay out of the way for all I care.”
Nora smiled her expression a mirror of Layla’s own.
“You’re so close to achieving everything you’ve ever wanted, darling. And with a child on the way?”
“You’re the best sister in law ever” Layla smiled and Nora smiled
“I want you for my brother..not a barren who couldn’t give him a child for the past three years,” Nora said
Layla laughed, a genuine warmth suffusing her face.
“You’re so right, Nora. I’m exactly what Ethan needs.” The two women shared a conspiratorial smile, their heads tilted close together in the dim light.
“And with the pack’s support firmly behind me, there’s nothing Hazel can do to stop me. Soon enough, I’ll be the rightful Luna, with a child of the alpha to solidify my position.”
Nora nodded, her thoughts turning to Hazel.
“Ethan is going to cut off their mate bond tonight and make you his mate and Luna..and she will be out of this pack”
“Tonight is surely a great night” Nora smiled
“Yes, tonight is indeed a great night.” Layla’s grin widened, a cruel light dancing in her eyes. “Hazel will be nothing but a forgotten memory by sunrise.”
Nora gave Layla's shoulder a gentle squeeze, her voice low and fervent.
“And once you're Luna, the packs will finally be united under our rule. No more waiting. No more hiding. We will be family.”
The room crackled with anticipation, the two women's breaths coming a little faster, a little hotter.
**
Hazel came out of her bathroom, her maid Lia didn’t come to her so she had to get dressed herself
It’s time for the urgent meeting, Ethan called
Hazel stood in the flickering light of the bedroom, a portrait of defiance despite the torment raging within her. She refused to give up, to surrender without a fight. Her hand trembled as she gathered her tresses into a braid, a silver-white streak running through the black strands.
As she fastened the clasp of her cloak, Hazel caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. The face that looked back at her was changed, shadows beneath her eyes, her lips pressed into a thin, determined line.
“Everyone is waiting for you Luna Hazel,” A guard said and walked away
Hazel got out of her room and headed to the hall
The castle’s walls seemed to crowd in on her as she made her way through the winding corridors. The gathered pack members fell silent as she entered the hall, their eyes flitting between her and the raised platform where Ethan and Layla stood. The air was heavy with tension, pregnant with possibility.
Hazel’s feet felt like lead as she approached the Alpha, her mate, his face unreadable, guarded. She knew this moment would change everything.
Ethan cleared his throat, his voice booming through the hall.
“I've called this meeting tonight because there's news that can no longer be ignored,” Ethan spoke with a gravity that made Hazel’s heart race, her ears straining to pick up every word.
“It is time that our packs joined forces. Our lands, our resources, our people. And to ensure this unity, my mate will bear my child.” Ethan’s arm snaked around Layla’s waist, pulling her closer, his eyes never leaving Hazel.
The hall erupted into a cacophony of cheers and whispers, the pack members’
Hazel saw her parent sitting..and she wanted to rush to them and let them know everything Layla said to them was a lie
But the looks on their face are sending her to hell already
Every eye in the hall was on Hazel, the air thick with judgment and triumph. Ethan’s gaze was a spear through her heart, the Alpha’s betrayal a searing brand on her soul. But it was her parents’ expressions that truly twisted the knife.
Her father’s disappointment was palpable, a silent accusation that she wasn’t good enough, that she’d let him down. And her mother’s face was a study in denial, a stiff smile stretched across her lips like a funeral shroud.
Every ounce of Hazel’s control was fraying, her heart a fiery knot in her chest. The silence in the hall was deafening, but she could still hear the echo of Ethan’s words, Layla’s laughter, and her parents’ silence.
Ethan stepped forward and everyone turned to him
I Alpha Ethan Wellington, hereby reject you, Hazel Wynn and accept your sister Layla Wynn, as my mate.
A smile made its way to Layla’s face as she turned to hug Ethan.
Hazel felt pain sift through her body as the mating bond that connect her and the Ethan was severed. She gasped as she fell to the floor clutching her chest with her hand and watched as her sister and mate hugged each other.
The words fell like hammers, one blow after another, crushing what little remained of Hazel’s spirit. Her world tilted, the hall becoming a blur of colors and sounds. Darkness crept into the corners of her vision, her knees barely holding her weight. But there was a single shred of defiance left in her, a spark of rage that refused to die.
She looked up, her gaze latching onto Ethan, onto Layla, their hands intertwined in triumph. There was a broken sob, followed by a vicious snarl.
“I will never forgive you for this Layla” Hazel cried and darkness overshadowed her
She fainted and no one left their spot as they watched the lifeless Hazel on the floor
“Carry her out of my castle and make sure she never returns here” Ethan commanded
The silence in the hall was deafening as the wolves exchanged wary glances, the air thick with unease. No one dared move, the weight of the moment heavy on their shoulders.
Ethan stared down at Hazel, her body limp on the cold stone floor. The Alpha’s expression was unreadable, the shadow of doubt creeping into his eyes.
“Someone,” he said, his voice heavy with command. “Fulfill my order. Now.”
Two pack members stepped forward, their reluctance clear in their steps.
“I said, now.” Ethan’s voice was iron, his tone leaving no room for disobedience.
The pack members, their heads bowed in submission, approached Hazel’s lifeless body With a gentle yet firm touch, they lifted her, carrying her towards the doors of the hall. As they passed Layla, her eyes locked with Hazel’s closed ones, a satisfied smirk curling her lips.
The doors opened, the guards carrying Hazel out into the cold night air, the pack and their Alpha watching as the castle gates were slammed shut behind them.
Disowned
Hazel woke up and found herself in the street, her body was full of dirt
Hazel blinked, the world coming into focus as she stirred awake. The cobbled streets of the town were cold and unforgiving beneath her, the flickering streetlights illuminating the dirt that coated her fur.
The night was quiet, the only sound the distant murmur of revelry from the castle, the wind rustling the trees. The smell of the forest filled Hazel’s nose, a haunting reminder of what she’d lost.
“No,” she growled, the fire of defiance flaring in her chest. “I won’t let them do this to me.
She stood up and headed back to the castle, who knows if Ethan might change his mind and accept her back again
She got to the castle door and thankfully, no guard was around there
Just as she made to start going inside, a voice stopped her
“Are you so desperate to be our Luna again” Hazel turned to see Nora, she didn’t know why but Nora hated her for no reason
“Nora.” Hazel’s voice was flat, unyielding. “What do you want?”
Nora’s eyes narrowed, the hatred in them burning like a baleful flame. “I’m here to make sure you never get a chance to come crawling back. You’re not worthy of being Luna. You never were.”
Hazel’s fur bristled, the instinct to defend herself raw, primal. But she forced herself to remain still, her eyes trained on Nora’s.
“I’ve never done anything to you... Please help me beg Ethan, will listen to you only” Hazel pleaded
*what do you think you’re doing* Mia,Hazel Wolf finally talked after staying silent for days
*don’t talk to me Mia* Hazel said to her
“Oh you want me to beg my brother to marry a barren and bad luck” Nora clapped
Hazel felt the sting of Nora’s words like a slap across her face, the shadows of her doubts rising once more. But Mia was right, she couldn’t keep kneeling, couldn’t let this woman walk all over her.
“You will not speak to me like that,” Hazel snarled, the primal power in her voice causing Nora to take a step back.
“I am Hazel, the rightful Luna, and I will not beg for what is rightfully mine.”
The world seemed to pause for a moment, the wind stilled, the birds silent.
Nora laughed loudly and the laugh was a mocking message
“Oh you think you’re still relevant here, well let me bring it out to you..my brother is getting married to the mother of his unborn kids and also his Luna” Nora said
The world snapped back into focus, the sheer absurdity of Nora’s words striking Hazel like a physical blow.
“You lie!” she cried, her voice a ragged hiss. “Layla couldn’t even be pregnant, she lied!”
Nora’s face contorted into a cruel mask.
“It doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not. What matters is that Ethan believes it. And soon enough, the entire pack will believe it.”
“What’s going on here..” Ethan walked to them with Layla holding his arm
“What are you still doing here you barren” Ethan spat
Hazel felt her heart drop to her paws, her whole world collapsing around her. Layla’s smirk, Ethan’s disdain it was all too much. But she would not break.
“Ethan, please,” Hazel’s voice trembled, her eyes searching his for any sign of the love they once shared. “I know you can’t believe this. Not after everything we’ve been through.”
But Ethan only hardened his expression, turning away from her. “You’re not my mate anymore, Hazel.
“Honey I’m feeling uncomfortable seeing her again,” Layla said to Ethan
“Leave and don’t come back again,” Ethan said to Hazel
And with those words, Ethan turned his back on Hazel for the final time. The hall seemed to spin around her, the faces of her former packmates turning away, silent and complicit in her downfall. Even her parents couldn’t meet her gaze.
“Please,” Hazel whispered, her throat dry. “Please don’t do this.”
But the Alpha’s word was law, and Hazel knew she had to leave. With her head held high, she turned and began to walk away, her body numb.
“My lady..do you need anything” Lia asked Layla and Hazel turned back watching them
“I just want to rest for now..can I do that” Layla replied
“Of course my lady,” Lia said
“Prepare a warm bath for her before resting,” Nora said to Lia
“Yes, Lady Nora,” Lia bowed her head, already moving to prepare the bath.
As Hazel watched, a burning anger replaced the numbness in her veins. How dare they treat her like this? How dare they let Layla take her place? And what of her unborn child, the one she’d shared with Ethan? She’d have to leave without even a word of explanation to her former Alpha.
The injustice of it all spurred her forward, her steps becoming more determined, more resolute. She would not let them break her, she swore. She would rise from this.
She walked out of the castle and headed to her parent's house, even though they were angry at her for what wasn’t her fault, they were still her parent
The night air was crisp, its chill a balm on Hazel’s burning skin. She walked on silent paws, her steps sure, her eyes focused on the distant lights of her parents’ house. The stars above twinkled, cold and uncaring, but Hazel didn’t mind. They were a constant, something she could rely on, even when everything else had fallen to ash.
As she approached the house, she felt a flicker of uncertainty. Would they even take her in? But she steeled herself, pushing down the doubts. She needed this.
She knocked on the door and her mother opened up
“What are you doing here” Her mother asked angrily
“Mom” Hazel cried
“Leave here before my husband comes out and please don’t come here again...we don’t feel comfortable with strangers,” Her mother said
Hazel stood, frozen in place, her heart sinking like a stone in the depths of her chest. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. She was supposed to find comfort in their presence, in their love. But instead, she was being treated like a stranger, a pariah.
“Mom,” she pleaded, her voice barely a whisper. “Please, I’m your daughter. Don’t turn your back on me too.”
Her mother’s face hardened, her eyes flinty with resolve.
“You’re not my daughter..let me make it clear to you, We disowned you so get out of this place and never come back,” Her mother said
Hazel felt like a thousand arrows were piercing her heart, each word from her mother a knife twist. Her throat tightened, the tears pricking at the corners of her eyes.
“I don’t deserve this,” she managed to croak out, her voice cracking with pain.
“None of this is my fault. I’ve done nothing wrong.”
Her mother’s face remained impassive, her eyes betraying no emotion. “Your life is no longer our concern. Now leave.”
“No,” Hazel whispered, the force of her refusal carrying through the night air. “I’m done taking orders from anyone.”
Her wolf bristled, the fury inside her mounting. But she swallowed it down, forcing her bones to shift back to their human form. Her eyes were a maelstrom, her voice a roar of defiance.
“You can disown me, but you cannot erase me. I am Hazel, Alpha of my fate, and you will regret turning your back on me.”
Her mother scoffed and closed the door leaving her all alone outside
The door slammed shut, its echo reverberating through Hazel’s bones. For a moment, she stood there, stunned, as the reality of her situation crashed down around her.
She started crying...
Lady Layla
Hazel entered the hotel room she lodged inside, it was small but comfortable at least for the night
The door shut behind her with a soft click, the silence of the room enveloping Hazel in its stillness. She moved around the space in a daze, as if in a dream, her steps muted and slow.
The bed was small, the walls bare, but Hazel found herself not caring. For the first time in as long as she could remember, she was truly alone, free from the expectations and constraints of pack life. And yet, the loneliness ached like a phantom limb.
*Now we are going to be here, you can’t even fight for yourself* Mia said
*I’m not ready to talk to you* Hazel muttered
*you think I want to talk to you too* Mia spat and cut off the mild link
Hazel sighed and lay down on the bed
The silence in the room seemed to magnify Hazel’s loneliness, the air thick with the absence of pack, of family, of the mate she’d once thought would be hers. She closed her eyes, trying to silence the whispering, the stab of betrayal, but the night was dark and unyielding, offering no solace.
Mia’s words echoed in her head, like nails in a coffin. How could she have failed so spectacularly? How could she have let her life come to this?

Ethan's best friend, Henry entered his office and met him working
“Don’t tell me what I heard is true” Henry asked
“What did you hear” Ethan asked back
“You left Hazel for her sister,” Henry said
“Is that even a question, I don’t love her anymore..”
“So you chased her out and planning to marry her sister” Henry cut him off
“Do you have a problem with that? I own my life and my pack, I can do anything I want with it” Ethan roared
Henry's expression hardened, his jaw tight with anger.
"I have a problem with betrayal, with dishonor. You promised Hazel a life with you, and now you throw her away like garbage? How can you call yourself an Alpha?"
Ethan glared at his friend, his eyes blazing.
"I am the Alpha, and I will do what is necessary to secure the future of my pack. Hazel was barren, useless. Layla is fertile and loyal. I made the choice that was best for the pack.
Henry shook his head, his voice laced with disgust.
“Best for the pack? Or best for your ego? You call Hazel barren, but what of your seed, Alpha? Perhaps it was your impotence that led to her supposed infertility.”
Ethan leaped to his feet, his fists clenched, his wolf rippling beneath his skin.
“Watch your tongue, Henry. Do not forget to whom you speak. You will not disrespect your Alpha.”
Henry's eyes narrowed, his words sharp as daggers. "I will not watch my tongue when it speaks the truth. You have lost your way, Alpha. You have betrayed the very pack you claim to serve.”
The air crackled with tension, the threat of violence palpable. But Henry did not back down, his body taut and ready. "You may hold the title of Alpha, but it is not the title that makes you a leader. It is your heart, your honor, and those you have lost both.”
“Are you perhaps interested in Hazel, you can go look for her and marry her then” Ethan rolled his eyes
Henry's face contorted his words a low snarl.
"This isn't about me, and you know it. This is about your choices and your actions. You used Hazel, cast her aside, and now you try to turn this around on me?" He shook his head, his expression full of scorn.
"No, I won't marry Hazel. But I also won't stand by while you drag this pack into the gutter with your selfishness. And you, you will have to live with the blood of betrayal on your hands."
“If you have nothing tangible to say..can you leave my office, as you can see I’m preparing for my wedding with the mother of my unborn kids,” Ethan said and continued what he was doing
Henry stood there for a long moment, seething, his fists clenched, his whole body trembling with rage. But he knew there was nothing he could do here, not now. Ethan had made his choice, and the pack would pay the price.
He turned, his footsteps heavy and measured, each step a condemnation. And as he passed the threshold of the Alpha's office, he tossed one final salvo over his shoulder.
"Enjoy your throne, Alpha. But remember, the lone wolf dies, while the pack survives. You've made your choice. You may not live to regret it."
Ethan ignored him and walked out of the office
“Who do hell does he think he is” Ethan scoffed as he watched Henry leave
"A true friend," Ethan muttered under his breath, his ego aching from the exchange. "A true pack member. More than you deserve."
But he pushed the thought away, burrowing himself back into the paperwork, into the task at hand. He would show them all. He would make the pack stronger than ever before, he would prove them wrong.
He smiled to himself, his eyes gleaming with ambition. "They'll all see," he said, his voice resolute, "that I am the Alpha. And the pack will follow my lead, no matter the cost."

Layla’s suite**
She was sitting while the maids massaged her legs and body
“Get me a cold juice please..and turn on the television,” Layla said
“Yes my lady” The maid replied
Layla leaned back in the plush chair, her eyes half closed as the maids tended to her every whim. She felt like a queen like she finally had the life she deserved.
The maid hurried off, returning moments later with a cold glass of juice on a silver tray. She knelt beside the chair, offering the drink with a respectful bow.
"Here you are, my lady. May I turn on the television now?"
Layla waved a hand in dismissal, her mouth already wrapped around the straw, the juice sweet and refreshing on her tongue. "Do whatever you want."
"Yes, my lady," the maid murmured, bowing low and backing away from the chair. She turned on the TV, the volume muted, leaving Layla to her own devices.
And that was exactly how Layla wanted it. The past few days had been a whirlwind of activity, of planning, of ensuring that everyone fell into line. But now, with Hazel gone, there was no one to challenge her position, no one to question her rule.
She smiled to herself, her eyes glinting like polished stones.
