Chapter 3

I was admitted to a top university like my previous life. Although I was not the excellent one in our province, I was amazing enough in a small town with a poor education.

According to my memory from my previous life, I chose the computer major which would be quite popular ten years later. Kelly looked at my application form and laughed disdainfully.

"Stella, do you want to be a programmer in the future? Aren't you afraid to die suddenly because of your work?"

I didn't take her words to heart but submitted the application form. Only then did I slowly feel relieved.

In my previous life, I had regretted that I was not able to study at the university.

I worked in a hair salon in town, hoping to earn some money to support Kelly who was in college. Unexpectedly, I ran into Kevin there.

He said he had fallen in love with me at first sight, and he brought flowers to the hair salon every day in the most eye-catching way.

"Stella, marry me. I really like you.

"After you marry me, you don't have to do anything. Just stay at home and drink coffee and enjoy the flowers. I will support you."

But after I married him, I found out that Kevin could never forget his first love who was called Maria Collins.

He proposed to me only because I looked like Maria, and that I came from a humble family and was easy to manipulate. Moreover, he could use me to humiliate his parents who had forced him into marriage.

He could kill two birds with one stone.

Later I wanted to divorce and escape from the Morgan family, but Kevin locked me in the villa.

He warned me, "How was it possible for me to fall in love with a lowly woman like you? But since you've married me, you must take on the responsibilities of being my wife. Don't even think about leaving here in this life."

Later, Maria returned to our country, and they were deeply in love. Kevin could not bear to see Maria suffer the pain of childbirth, so he put all the suffering on me.

He forced me to keep giving birth to children for the Morgan family, so my health had been poor long ago.

Thinking of this, I clenched my fists. I promised myself that I would never make the same mistake again or marry Kevin.

If Kelly liked to live without any dignity, I would support her.

Chapter 4

Two months passed soon, and I started my college life.

Before I left, Kelly finally found a job in the hair salon where I worked in my previous life. She stood at the door every day looking around, like a young girl in love waiting for her lover.

She was waiting for Kevin.

Kelly didn't know how I met Kevin in my previous life, but she had read a lot of novels, and she had probably imagined a drama in which a domineering rich man who ran away from home fell in love with a poor but kind girl.

She felt that as long as she showed a caring expression when Kevin was down and out and made him feel warm when he was at the lowest point in his life, she could easily win Kevin's heart and smoothly start her life as a rich wife.

I shook my head, thinking that she was so stupid and had wasted so many years of study.

Kevin was not a kind-hearted person who was grateful.

He would only think that a kind-hearted woman was stupid and gullible. Was there anything that could make a hunter happier than the prey actively revealing its soft belly?

On the day I left, my parents and Kelly saw me off in the station. Kelly looked very proud and hugged me.

"Stella, enjoy your college life.

"After all, after you graduate, you will only be able to work hard for your boss with a meager salary. But if you beg me then, maybe I can be merciful and lend you some money."

I didn't say anything. Kelly didn't know that I was also reborn. Logically, I should play the role of a sensible sister who dotes on her, but I was too lazy to talk to her.

After saying goodbye to my parents, I left. Kelly was very angry.

Behind me, she cursed, "Okay, if you have the guts, don't ever ask me for help in your life."

I thought, "Of course, Kelly.

Because your tasks of hell are about to begin."

When I was in my sophomore year, I called home and Mary told me that a rich young man had come to our town and had begun to pursue Kelly vigorously.

The two of them were in love with each other, and the man even proposed to Kelly at our home. Although he acted rudely, Kelly liked him very much and said that he was sincere.

I laughed. It was obvious that Kevin didn't want to waste any more time and just wanted to take Kelly away as soon as possible to avoid being forced into marriage by his parents.

Kelly snatched the phone from our parents and spoke proudly, "What do you think, Stella? I told you that studying at the university is useless. Do you know the background of Kevin's family? They own hundreds of five-star chain hotels.

"I'll be a rich wife if I marry her. I'll have endless money to spend even if I do nothing. So, do you regret making the wrong choice?"

I looked at the website that was already in its infancy on my computer. It was a website that my friends and I had spent several months to create.

I believed that soon, I would have my own business. By then, I would no longer have to rely on anyone, nor would I be locked up in a dark room.

Then, I could face any crisis in life with confidence.

Including Kevin's threat.

During my college years, I never dared to slack off for a moment. I worked hard to acquire professional knowledge, participate in school competitions, and study entrepreneurship with my partners. I felt that my life had never been so clear and fulfilling.

I said word by word to Kelly, "I don't regret it."

Chapter 5

After hanging up the call, I put my energy into my career again.

Although I had been locked up in a villa by Kevin in my previous life, fortunately, there was a television. My favorite thing to do every day was to watch the news.

So I knew every opportunity to make profits in ten years, and that the real economy would slowly move towards depression.

In the previous life, Kevin missed the opportunities, and the Morgan family's business suffered a great loss. He was reluctant to vent his anger on Maria, so he had to take it out on me.

He beat me so badly that I had to hide in a corner.

At that time, I was thinking that if God gave me another chance, I would not choose to work in a hair salon that summer.

Then, my life might not have ended up like this.

Then I received another call from Kelly. She told me that she was getting married and asked me to witness her wedding.

I said, "No, I'm busy."

Kelly mocked, "Why are you pretending? Don't think I don't know anything just because I haven't been to college. Didn't you just have fun with your classmates, skip classes, and play games?"

I sneered in my heart. It turned out that the opportunity to study that I had given up with great pain in my previous life was wasted by Kelly. No wonder she couldn't find a good job after graduation.

Even as an ordinary college student who had never participated in any competition, she would not be fired frequently if she worked hard and had a good resume.

Kelly had high expectations but lacked the skills to achieve them. Even though she was incapable, she always complained about how hard her work was. When other colleagues went off work, she still had to work overtime to revise the returned documents.

That was why she finally blamed me for everything she had suffered.

Kelly was still showing off.

"I'm telling you, Stella, even if you go to a good university, you won't succeed. In the end, you might even have to work for me.

"Kevin said that as long as we get married, I can get half of his property. Then you and I will be in a different class. You must always look up to me."

I sighed. Kelly who had been spoiled by our family since she was a child was fooled but still felt proud.

Kevin was not that stupid. After he and I fell out in the previous life, he told me clearly that I could not take a penny of the Morgan family. The house and car were all his premarital properties and had been notarized long ago.

I would like to advise Kelly not to have such unrealistic ideas.

Kelly said, "Stella, don't envy me. Let me tell you a secret. If I hadn't given you that chance to go to college, you might have been the one marrying Kevin.

"But it's too late now. He has fallen deeply in love with me and will marry me."

...

I gave up my idea of advising her.

Since Kelly was so keen on my past life, I had no choice but to give it up.

"Okay, then I wish you and Kevin will always be together and love each other till old age."
