Chapter 1

My 6-year-old brother poured paraquat into the potato jar, so I threw the potatoes away with the jar for the safety of the whole family.

My grandmother, Madison, knew it and beat me, saying that I was a bitch who wasted food.

When my father, Quinn Parker, came back and saw that there was no food, he kicked me hard in the stomach twice.

In the end, I died tragically at home because I didn't receive timely medical treatment for kidney bleeding.

When I opened my eyes again, I watched coldly as my brother, Liam Parker, unscrewed the paraquat.

Liam picked up the bottle of paraquat, took a look at it, unscrewed the lid and poured the thick black liquid into the potato jar.

"What are you doing? Grandma told you to go to the store and buy me some ice creams. Why don't you go now?"

I put away the smile on my face and turned to look outside the door.

Just like in my previous life, Madison waved a kitchen knife at me and yelled, "You bastard, did you hear me talking to you? Go buy your brother an ice cream. If you make Liam cry, I will beat you up!"

I picked up a dollar on the table and walked out. Madison was killing a chicken by the well.

Today was July 14th, which was also Liam's birthday, the most important day in our family.

Ever since Liam was born, I no longer had the right to celebrate my birthday. Every time, my mother, Nicole, would just give me two eggs to deal with it.

"Grandma, Liam poured paraquat into the potato jar. The potato is inedible. Should we throw them away?" I reminded grandma.

Last life, I took the liberty of throwing out the potatoes. I was insulted and beaten by my family and died tragically at home.

In this life, I just mentioned Madison. And they could decide how to deal with the potatoes later.

In this life, I respected the fate of others and let go of the desire to help others.

Grandma frowned and glared at me fiercely.

"You have no idea how expensive these potatoes are. We just wash the potatoes and eat it. Go buy some ice creams for your brother!"

I didn't answer and walked towards the store.

When I came back, Madison was washing the potatoes.

Nicole walked into the house carrying a box of cakes. I looked at her with envy.

After my brother was born, they would buy him a millet cake for every birthday to celebrate, but I never tasted one.

When Liam was young, the cake was only given to Quinn. When he grew up, it was only given to him and Quinn.

"What are you looking at? Hurry up and help your grandma wash the potatoes. You are so lazy!" Nicole looked displeased when she saw me standing there.

I picked up a bucket and looked at Nicole flatteringly, "Today is Liam's birthday. I will go to the river to get some fishes to add to the family's meal."

My hands were constantly wounded from doing farm work all year round. And I was at risk of poisoning if I came into contact with even a little bit of paraquat.

Nicole showed me a rare smile and said, "Okay. Today is your brother's birthday. We finish our meal early and then eat the cakes."

Chapter 2

When I got home, the whole family was already sitting together having dinner.

I put down the bucket and slowly went to the well to wash my hands.

The large basket beside the well was filled with the potatoes that Madison had washed.

When I walked into the house, I glanced at the dining table. There was a chicken leg in Liam's bowl, and he had a steak in front of him.

Quinn looked unhappy when he saw me and said, "You're slow. We've been waiting for you."

I said nothing, sat aside and taste jam.

Nicole patted my head vigorously and said, "Jam is expensive. Eat it with bread."

Nicole and I were not worthy of eating good potatoes in my family. We could only eat them during Christmas.

Madison gave me a mean look and turned to complain to Quinn, "Chloe just said that Liam poured paraquat into the potato jar and asked me to throw the potatoes away. This is wasting food!"

Quinn was stunned, looked at Madison, and said hesitantly, "This, this meal is..."

Madison waved her hand and said nonchalantly, "It's okay. I've washed them. You can eat it without worry."

Nicole nodded in agreement. "I watched her wash them three times. The paraquat must have been washed away."

After hearing this, Quinn praised Madison. "Mom is good at managing the household."

Then he pointed at my forehead and cursed, "Throw away so many potatoes? You bitch. I feel uncomfortable if I don't scold you for a day."

I ate my bread quietly, thinking, "If you like them, eat more."

Chapter 3

At night, the three of them began to vomit and have diarrhea. Liam almost fainted.

Nicole hugged Liam and cried, "My dear, please don't scare me."

Quinn felt something was wrong. He held his stomach and yelled at me, "Chloe, go to the clinic and call someone over."

I hurriedly threw the cup of water in my hand and ran towards the clinic.

When I reached the corner, I started walking slowly, letting them feel more pain.

In my previous life, Quinn came back and saw that there was no food. After asking what happened, he kicked me in the stomach. I slid on the ground and hit the corner of the wall.

Quinn ignored the dull thud and quickly walked over to me, raising his foot and stomping on my stomach again, with even greater force than before.

Not only did Nicole not stop him, she even added said, "We usually love Liam more, but you can't make things difficult for everyone on your brother's birthday."

After hearing this, Quinn slapped me on. I fainted.

When I was almost at the clinic, I smeared a lot of mud on my body and pretended that I had fallen.

Unfortunately, the doctor was not there tonight, so I walked slowly towards the priest's house.

When priest arrived, the three of them were dying, so he quickly had them sent to the county hospital.

While in the car, priest asked, "What did your family eat?"

I pinched the corner of my clothes and whispered, "My brother poured paraquat into the potato jar, and my grandma washed the potatoes several times to avoid wasting them and cooked them before eating."

The priest's face changed immediately. He urged the man who was driving to drive faster.

When we arrived at the county hospital, Liam's mouth had already started to turn purple.

The priest rushed to the emergency room with my brother in his arms, shouting anxiously, "Help! He's been poisoned by paraquat!"

All the medical staff in the emergency room gathered around and the three were pushed into the emergency room.
