Chapter 2
After saying that, Jane called Jamar in front of me.
She exaggerated the truth; her mother was even shocked by her words.
"Jamar, you come back quickly; Tiffany wants to kill me and Mom at home. "
Jamar obviously didn't believe it; he could only calm them down.
"Jane, your sister-in-law is not that kind of person; tell Mom not to worry; I will be back soon."
Jane continued to complain, "Hurry up; if you're late, Mom and I will be beaten to death; if you come back, you can only collect our bodies."
Jamar hung up the phone in a hurry, probably rushing home.
Jane arrogantly raised her head and challenged me.
"Just wait and see, see how my brother will deal with you, you bitch."
"At such a young age, she has a sharp tongue. After she said that she wanted to harm me, I couldn't simply brush off such a hurtful remark. I feel I must address this matter."
Thinking of this, I didn't hesitate and slapped her, almost making her unable to stand.
She widened her eyes and covered her face, obviously unable to believe that I actually hit her.
"Tiffany, do you really dare to hit me?" she asked.
I sneered inwardly.
"You said it yourself. I almost beat you to death. If I don't take action, how will your brother believe it? Aren't you exposing yourself?"
After saying that, I slapped her again.
The two consecutive slaps made her dizzy.
Originally, Monica, who was watching the excitement on the side, thinking that her daughter was in a dominant position, suddenly jumped up and hugged Jane, feeling extremely distressed.
"How can you hit Jane? So wild, so rude."
If she weren't an elder, I would hit her, too.
The courses were intense in the past two years because Jane attended high school. I understand because I have taken the SAT.
I brought Jane home to take care of her, providing delicious food and drinks, and she stayed in the biggest room with air conditioning throughout the year.
My husband and I dare not go out, afraid of affecting her studies.
We even spend money to hire a tutor for her, not hesitating to pay 100 dollars for each class.
It was all for her to be able to go to a good university and have a better future.
We even didn't dare to have a child for the past two years, afraid of disturbing her.
Who would have thought we made so much effort, but she only scored 280 points.
It was okay if she didn't do well on the exam; after all, not everyone was brilliant.
I didn't expect her to be so ungrateful and start lecturing me.
After slapping Jane twice, I felt relieved. I returned to my room, closed the door, and didn't bother looking at them anymore.
Jane was sobbing uncontrollably outside, her cries so intense that people might have mistaken it for mourning the loss of a loved one.
She cried and cursed at me loudly.
"Tiffany, you worthless shrew. My brother falling for you is your good fortune. How dare you hit me. I will make my brother divorce you, immediately."
Monica covered her mouth and said, "Don't talk nonsense. Can divorce be mentioned casually?"
Jane was not convinced.
"Mom, she has bullied me like this. Don't you let my brother divorce her? What's good about Tiffany? She's ugly and can't even have a baby. She can't even give you a grandson."
"I really don't know what species she is. She's so young and already using foul language. I don't want to have children. It's all for her sake, this trash." I thought.
I opened the door and threw a garbage bag at her.
"Pack up your things and get out of here," I said.
How could she listen to me? She stomped on the garbage bag fiercely.
"Why should I leave? This is my brother's house. If anyone should leave, it's you; you can't give birth to a child."
I was about to slap her again when Jamar opened the door and came in.
Seeing our confrontation, he paused for a moment and immediately put on a smile as he walked towards me.
"Honey, what's going on? Why are you so angry?" He spoke.
I glared at him and said, "Ask your sister and your mother."
Before he could even ask, Jane started screaming, "Jamar, you can't keep this wife. She's too arrogant. Look, she even gave me a swollen face, and she wanted to hit Mom, but I stopped her."
Jamar looked at me and said, "Impossible; your sister-in-law would never lay a hand on Mom, but you..."
He didn't finish his sentence; Jane stomped her feet desperately and said, "What do you mean? Are you saying that I should be beaten?"
Chapter 3
I finally sighed in relief; thankfully, Jamar's still got his humanity intact.
But the next second, Jane started to go crazy in my room.
She grabbed all my skincare and makeup products and threw them on the ground. Then she opened my wardrobe and threw all my clothes on the ground, even stepping on them a few times.
"Tiffany, you want to bully me in my own house? Let me tell you, no way."
I was speechless and asked Jamar, "Are you going to do something about it?"
Jamar immediately started picking up my things; Jane dropped one, and he picked up one.
Jane saw him picking up and became even angrier; she tore it apart and threw it away.
Jamar's face darkened, "Are you done causing trouble? What are you going crazy for?"
Jane saw her older brother scolding her, making her even crazier.
"Are you still my brother if you'll scold me for that woman? Listen up, in this family, it's a her-or-me situation. You decide."
Jamar tried his best to endure, and Monica followed with insincere persuasion.
"Jane, you should be a little more reasonable; don't make things difficult for your brother. Although this is your brother's house, they are a couple; forget it, Mom and you move out."
"Let's rent a small apartment and live our own little life so we don't have to look at other people's faces."
"Haha, is this an attempt at persuasion? It definitely seems like you're fanning the flames here." I thought.
Sure enough, Jane became even angrier.
"Why? There is a big house, why should we go out and rent a small apartment? If anyone should go out, it should be Tiffany."
Jane looked at me fiercely with jealousy.
"Why do you get to use those high-end cosmetics? Why do you get to eat imported fruits? Why can't I? "
Seeing her crazy appearance, I knew that reasoning with her was useless.
Jamar also stood there without any intention of taking action.
I directly grabbed her hair and slapped her face left and right, and said, "Jane, do you need your ears cleaned out? Can't you understand what I'm saying? I told you to get lost, so get lost!"
She wanted to fight back, but unfortunately, I pushed her far away, and she happened to hit the corner of the table.
She tried to rush towards me angrily, but Jamar stopped her.
"Enough, stop it right now! This is unacceptable behavior, arguing with your elder sister-in-law and threatening violence. Especially at your young age." said Jamar.
She was unconvinced and said, "She hit me first; I have to fight back; I must fight back."
Jamar held her tightly and said, "I told you not to go crazy. I know how your sister-in-law has treated you these past two years. You're 18 now; can't you be more mature and be a little more reasonable?"
Monica, who was watching Jane go crazy on the side, saw that Jane was at a disadvantage and couldn't just stand there anymore.
Hug Jane tightly.
"Forget it, Jane. You're still young. It doesn't matter if you suffer a little. Don't let your older brother and sister-in-law argue."
Jamar frowned, "Mom, do you ever advise people like this? Jane is the way she is now because you spoiled her."
Upon hearing just a single remark from Jamar, Monica immediately sat down on the ground, pounding her thighs and wailing loudly, "What have I spoiled her? She was slapped by your wife a few times, and I can't even say a word. I am your mother, not your servant or nanny. How can you treat me like this?"
I wanted to roll my eyes, but Jamar immediately apologized to Monica, saying, "I didn't mean that; don't overthink."
Monica took the opportunity to shout, "It's not you who meant it, but your wife. When you're not at home, she calls me a servant, a nanny, and never Monica."
"Damn it! Monica is a real fibber; she has no trouble making up lies on the spot." I thought.
I was about to argue, but Monica suddenly grabbed Jane and knelt in front of me, slapping herself while kneeling.
"Tiffany, I beg you, don't drive me away. We are widowed and orphaned. Where do you want to drive me away? We can only wait to die when we go out."
Jamar immediately went to pull her mother up and begged me. "Tiffany, we are all family; let's forget about everything and call Mom to get up."
I was angry but still wanted to pull Monica up first. As for Jane, she could kneel as long as she wanted, and I would ignore her.
Unexpectedly, before Monica stood up, Jane suddenly ran to the rooftop and said as she ran, "Tiffany, if you bully me, I will die to show you, make you a murderer, and make you unable to live the rest of your life."
