Chapter 1
"Eleanor, what a coincidence, are you here to dye your hair too?"
I woke up suddenly, and looking at the familiar scene in front of me, I realized that I was reborn.
In my previous life, when I first entered college, my grandparents felt sorry for me and gave me $100,000 in pocket money every month. My parents also gave me $300,000 in living expenses on time every month.
When my roommate, Isabella Vance, found out, she started watching me and trying to imitate everything I did.
When I dyed my hair, she also started dyeing it the same color as mine. When I bought brand-name clothes and bags, she was willing to borrow money from loan sharks to buy the same things as me.
I originally thought that she was just vain, and I couldn't get over it for a while. I even felt sorry for her family situation, so I gave her some of my new clothes and bags, and made the excuse that I didn't want them.
But what I got in return was that she pushed me to the stairs and told me with a loud laugh that she owned The System. As long as she imitated me 80% and got the things I gave her, she could successfully gain the love of my family and generous rewards on my behalf.
After saying that, he pushed me down the stairs. After my death, she successfully took my place. My family and classmates all forgot about me, as if I had never been born in this world.
……
"Eleanor, I know I come from a poor family, but you can't just act all right and ignore me."
I looked at her hypocritical appearance and couldn't help but sneer in my heart.
"Isabella, in this life, I will let you experience what I experienced in my last life."
I knew it was not the time to have a falling out, so I pretended to be friendly.
"How could that be? Isabella, what a coincidence! What color are you going to dye your hair?"
Isabella's face froze, as if she hadn't expected me to ask this question, so she spoke carefully.
"Eleanor, let me dye my hair the same color as you. You know, I'm from the countryside and I've never dressed up. I don't know what color would look good on me."
I sneered. She told me the same thing in my previous life, and I foolishly believed her and even paid for her.
But not in this life.
I was about to speak when my best friend interrupted me.
"Hey, Isabella, I've noticed that you've been imitating our Eleanor lately, intentionally or unintentionally. If I remember correctly, your phone case is the same as our Eleanor's, but you bought a pirated copy."
Isabella's face turned pale instantly, but she knew very well that she was indeed imitating me, and even her tone of rebuttal was a little unconfident.
"How could that be? I just saw that Eleanor grew up in high society, was knowledgeable and well-informed about fashion, so I wanted to dye my hair the same color as her."
My best friend laughed out loud after hearing this.
"So what's the deal with you and our Eleanor buying the same phone case?"
Isabella couldn't think of any reason to retort, so she could only lower her head secretly, but I still saw the vicious look that flashed across her eyes.
I looked at my best friend and silently gave him a thumbs up, but still pretended to be a peacemaker and said.
"Sophia, don't say that, Isabella. She's from the countryside, so we definitely have to understand her, right?"
After saying that, I winked at my best friend, afraid that she would think I was on Isabella's side. After receiving my gaze, my best friend quickly reacted and pretended to be very apologetic.
"Eleanor, you're right. I didn't think it through. It's normal for him to have no aesthetic taste since he comes from the countryside. I want to learn from you and understand her."
Chapter 2
Isabella, of course, knew there was sarcasm in our tone, so she suddenly looked up and stared at us with a fierce look.
I felt a chill on my back and turned around to meet her gaze. She was frightened by my action and quickly lowered her head again.
I just found her actions funny.
"Isabella, I suddenly remembered today that I shouldn't dye my hair beforehand."
Go ahead and I stopped looking at her expression, pulled my best friend and walked out the door.
As soon as I went out, my bestie couldn't wait to tell me.
"Eleanor, when you said you wouldn't dye your hair, Isabella's expression changed immediately. You know, Isabella is really something. Why does she have to imitate you?"
I looked at my best friend standing up for me, and remembered that she was the one who reminded me that something was wrong with Isabella last time, but I didn't take it seriously. Even when Isabella replaced me, she was the first one to notice that something was wrong. On the way to question Isabella, she was hit and killed by a car.
Thinking of this, I couldn't help but shed tears.
"Thank you, Sophia. Come on, let's talk in the car."
Go ahead and I pulled her towards the car.
As soon as I got in the car, I burst into tears and hugged my best friend while crying.
My best friend was at a loss as to what to do after I did this, but she still carefully comforted and coaxed me.
"What's wrong, Eleanor? Did that Isabella make you angry? I'm going to beat her up right now!"
After saying that, my bestie gestured a few times in the air. I laughed out loud at her indignant look.
"Nothing, I just missed you."
My best friend looked at me in disbelief.
"Eleanor, you don't have a fever, do you? Why did you say that today? Such cheesy words."
After saying that, he put his hand on my forehead.
"Oh, I don't have a fever."
After I said this, I took her hand away from my forehead.
Randomly, I held my bestie's hand, looked into her eyes, and spoke to her in a very serious tone.
"Sophia, do you believe that The System exists in this world?"
It was obvious from her expression that she was shocked by what I said, and she quickly touched my forehead with her other hand.
"Eleanor, let's go to the hospital right away. He's running a fever and is already talking nonsense."
I sighed and told her everything I had experienced in my previous life.
After she finished listening to my story, she looked at me in amazement, then she put away her usual joking attitude and spoke to me seriously.
"This Isabella is so mean. Poor Eleanor. Don't worry, Eleanor, I will help you deal with Isabella for the rest of my life!"
Seeing her accept it so quickly, the stone in my heart fell.
"Don't be so hasty, we have to deal with her slowly."
"Let's go back to school first."
As soon as we got off the bus at school, we found that many people were looking at us. I realized something was wrong and hurriedly pulled my best friend towards the dormitory building.
My best friend said as she followed me.
"Why do I feel like they're all looking at us? Could it be Isabella causing trouble?"
I didn't answer, but just quickened my pace.
As soon as I arrived at the dormitory, I quickly took out my phone and opened the campus forum.
As expected, the post with the most likes was the one of me and my bestie coming out of various Upscale Clubs, and there were also photos of us riding in luxury cars and buying luxury goods.
And with text.
"Wall, wall, expose these two people. They get out of all kinds of luxury cars every day, and their things are all branded. I don't know where they make their money. It's just easy for women to make money."
Chapter 3
There is a heated discussion in the comment section.
"Maybe there's some old man on the list."
"That's right, are women so casual these days? Aren't they afraid of getting sick?"
"I guess the guy he's hooking up with is still married."
They spread rumors wantonly, and made up so many lies based on just one picture, as if I really betrayed myself as they said.
But there are still normal people in the comment section.
"No, you're spreading rumors about others based on just a picture. Aren't you afraid of being sued?"
"That's right, I know this person. His family is rich. You might be envious of other people's wealth."
"You are spreading rumors without any evidence. You are still college students."
I laughed out loud while watching them discuss it, and quickly mobilized resources to find out who the poster was. My best friend was also busy, and she quickly went to the forum to clarify the matter.
The people on my side quickly found out that it was someone from the neighboring school, and also the Simp who was pursuing Isabella. They had already brought him to the bottom of the dormitory building.
After hearing the news, I pulled my best friend and slowly went downstairs.
"Eleanor, have you figured out who it is? Why don't we go teach him a lesson right away? Why are you taking so long?"
I smiled.
"He's Isabella's suitor. I wonder how Isabella is going to frame us with him."
She looked confused in front of her best friend.
"Then we should hurry downstairs and ask him clearly."
I paused and tapped her forehead.
"You're still so anxious. The weather is so hot now, of course you have to let him stay outside for a while longer."
After listening to my explanation, my best friend stuck out her tongue and took my hand and said.
"Hey, Eleanor is smart. I'm just anxious for revenge. This guy is spreading rumors about us. But you're right. It's so hot out here, we should just let him wait a while."
When we slowly went downstairs, ten minutes had passed and we saw the housekeeper coming hurriedly.
"Miss, I have followed your instructions and sent everyone else back, leaving only two bodyguards with strong combat capabilities."
"We tied him up next to the railing as you requested. The sun was shining directly on him, and the three of us were watching him from under the shade of the tree."
I looked at the butler in front of me and nodded with satisfaction.
"Thank you so much for your help. Today, anyone who participates in this will receive an additional $3,000 in bonuses. You and the other two bodyguards will receive an additional $5,000."
After saying that, the housekeeper's expression instantly became happy, and he smiled and held a parasol for me and my bestie.
"Thank you, miss. The weather is too hot. I will hold an umbrella for you. Come on, miss. I will take you there."
The housekeeper led us to the destination quickly.
Before I even walked in, I heard the roar of Isabella's suitor.
"Hurry up and let me go. I'm dying of heat. Those two bitches are so vicious, but they are not as generous as my Isabella."
"Isn't it just a few rumors? Is it necessary to make such a big fuss?"
Hearing this, my best friend became furious, let go of my hand, ran over and slapped the man a few times.
"You don't think you're so handsome, do you? You're just a Simp. Isabella said a few bad words about us, and you quickly spread rumors about us. You only said a few words, but do you know that these words concern the innocence of girls?"
"Your name is Ethan Foster, right? Believe it or not, our Eleanor's words have bankrupted the Foster family, and you even dare to spread rumors about us."
Ethan's face turned pale instantly, but he still spoke with a firm tone.
