Chapter 3
After I returned to the dormitory, my roommate came to me.
"Check this out."
I took her phone and saw that the photo of me shining shoes for Sarah was posted on the confession wall.
Below were all the mocking words about me being a simp.
I returned the phone to my roommate without any emotional fluctuations.
"What about it?"
She was so angry that she took a deep breath.
"You! Come on, Laura! After what he did to you, are you really still gonna be his simp?
"He is humiliating you. He doesn't like you at all."
I smiled indifferently.
"Yeah, I know."
"You know? Then why are you still..."
"Don't ask. I will tell you one day."
"Fine."
Chapter 4
In the evening, my roommates and I went to the cafeteria to have dinner.
We sat down and took a few bites.
Then Sarah walked towards me with her friends.
Seeing that something was wrong, my roommates winked at me.
"This doesn't look good."
Sarah came to me and poured the food on my plate onto my head.
What a pity.
It was such a waste of braised pork, my favorite.
There weren't many people in the cafeteria, and my seat was quite secluded with a lot of obstructions, so no one noticed us.
"What are you doing? Sarah, what's wrong with you?"
My roommates stood up for me.
"What am I doing?
"She seduced my boyfriend, OK?
"Are you not tired of being a simp? Let me tell you something. Peter likes me. Have some self-respect and get lost."
Sarah was really different from this morning.
I must look very disheveled right now.
I casually took out a tissue from my pocket and wiped the broth off my face.
I had to send my clothes to the dry cleaner again.
I immediately looked at Sarah coldly.
"What do you want?"
"Don't bother Peter anymore, you simp. You'll make a fool of yourself in the end," Sarah snorted.
She finished speaking and left, and my roommates looked at me at a loss.
"You really feel nothing? After how she treated you?"
"She had your bag and still said such things about you!"
"She's the most shameless person I've ever met!"
I looked at myself in the mirror.
"I feel certain things. After all, I love braised pork, and I hate to see it get wasted.
"Every grain of food is hard-won. It's really a waste."
My roommates looked at me speechlessly.
Chapter 5
After returning to the dormitory, I took a shower and lay on the bed.
My phone kept ringing.
Peter kept sending me voice messages.
I didn't listen. After converting them to text, I understood what he meant.
Sarah complained to him. She deliberately poured water on her head and said it was me who did it to her.
He asked me to apologize to Sarah.
If I didn't apologize, he'd block and delete me.
He asked me to apologize to Sarah in front of everyone on the playground tomorrow night.
I only replied with one word.
[OK.]
I wanted to see what tricks they were playing.
