Chapter 1

The seven Jennings sisters were all born unusually fertile, while I was born extremely virile. My grandmother wanted me to marry a woman with high fertility so we could have lots of kids and thrive as a family.

In my previous life, I followed her wishes and chose Kara Jennings.

But she joined forces with her six sisters to steal my family estate, locked me in a basement, and tortured me until I died.

Now that I had come back to life on the day I had a banquet to announce my bride-to-be, I chose Michelle Cooper, the powerful CEO rumored to be sickly and infertile...

I sat on the couch, staring at the seven Jennings sisters posing a short distance away, all trying to show themselves off, and my mind drifted for a moment.

I had been reborn on the day I had a banquet to choose my bride-to-be.

My grandmother's gentle, familiar voice rang out beside me. "Percy, just pick one. I've already had all these girls trained for you."

I looked at the sisters on stage, and my vision dimmed as a strong wave of hatred rose in my chest.

In my last life, after spending time with the seven sisters, I felt most drawn to Kara Jennings, so I chose her to be my wife.

But in the end, she pushed my grandmother off the second floor, killing her on the spot.

After that, Kara teamed up with her sisters, took over my family's assets, and locked me in the basement.

The basement was dark, filthy, and suffocating. They even brought my driver's son, Oscar Warner, just so he could watch and laugh at my misery.

"Oscar, look at Percy. He doesn't even look like a person anymore. It's disgusting!"

Oscar walked up to me with a twisted smile and slapped me without hesitating.

"Aren't you supposed to be super fertile? Let's see how many women you can knock up at the same time!"

The second I remembered everything they had done to me in my past life, a wave of revulsion hit me, and I gagged hard.

My grandmother instantly noticed and looked at me with deep worry.

"Percy, are you feeling sick?"

I nodded, my face tense. "Please get them out of here."

The butler glanced at my grandmother, and once she gave a nod, he quickly led the sisters away.

After everyone left, my grandmother looked at me with nothing but affection.

"If you're not well, then rest. We can wait a few more days before you choose your wife."

I looked at her silver hair, and the horrible ending from my past life flashed through my mind.

This time, I would never let it happen again.

My expression hardened, and I spoke softly, "Grandma, I want to marry Michelle from the Coopers."

My grandmother frowned and said, clearly unhappy, "Michelle may run Cooper Corporations and have plenty of power, but she's sick all the time and can't have children. Why marry someone who's practically on her deathbed?

"Our family already has enough wealth and influence. You don't need to marry someone from the Coopers to grow our business."

Her gaze dropped, and a shadow passed over her face.

"The Spencers barely have any descendants left anymore. After your parents died in that accident when you were young, it's only been the two of us. I just want you to marry a healthy woman, have children, and help the Spencers grow again."

I stood and moved to sit beside her, pouring her a glass of water.

"Grandma, think about it. If I marry Michelle, the Spencers and the Coopers won't be enemies anymore, and our influence will rise together. That way, I'll be able to build my own business empire.

"And about having kids, you really don't have to stress. Did you forget I'm incredibly fertile? Even if I lose her someday, there will always be someone willing to have children with me."

After I said that, I saw her expression ease a little. I gently lifted the glass to her lips.

I continued, "Instead of pushing me to marry one of these super-fertile women, wouldn't it make more sense for me to find someone whose status actually matches mine? That way, I can get both the business benefits and the kids."

My grandmother let out a helpless sigh and nodded. "Alright. Since you've already made up your mind, then do what you think is right."

Oscar had been sneaking around outside the door. After hearing my whole conversation with my grandmother, he rushed off to tattle to the sisters.

"Kara, I was worried about all of you, so I snuck over to take a look at the banquet, and I… I heard Percy say he doesn't want any of you. He wants to marry that sickly woman, Michelle Cooper!"

Kara gave a cold snort, her eyes full of disdain. "Oh, so he thinks he's too good for us now?"

Charis Jennings glared and snapped, "Percy is such a shameless idiot. He really thinks he's some kind of king who can pick through the seven of us as if we were prizes? I swear I'm going to let him have it."

The other five sisters were just as furious, and the group stormed out together to wait for me outside the hall.

I had barely stepped through the door when I ran straight into all seven sisters.

They were all glaring at me as if they were ready to tear me apart.

The first to speak was Kara, the woman I had married in my past life.

"Percy, don't think that you're a bigshot just because we allowed you to choose from us. You're nothing special."

"That's right. Kara's gorgeous, and you should be grateful she's even considered marrying you!"

Guinevere Jennings chimed in, glaring at me with pure contempt.

Kara lifted her chin proudly and said, "I know you've been in love with me for years. Now that you finally get to marry me, you must be overjoyed."

After that, she stepped closer and said, "I can marry you, but only if you agree that once we're married, we live our own separate lives and don't get in each other's way. Otherwise, I'm not marrying you!"

I stared at her coldly. "The one I'm marrying is Michelle Cooper."

"Michelle? She can't have kids, and she looks like she's about to collapse. You seriously want to marry her?"

Kara covered her mouth and let out a soft laugh. "Even if you marry Michelle, you're not gonna be satisfied. She's so weak that you'll end up sneaking around with someone else sooner or later."

Right then, Oscar rushed to Kara's side, his lips shaking.

"Stop fighting, you two. This is my fault. If I hadn't overheard those things by accident, none of this would've happened."

"Get out of my way!" I snapped. Just as I tried to walk off, Kara blocked me.

She grabbed Oscar's hand and glared at me as if I were the villain.

"Percy, that's too much! Oscar didn't do anything wrong. How dare you talk to him like that!"

The moment she finished, Yvonne Jennings stepped forward and added, "Exactly! You act like you're some big deal. Someone like you doesn't deserve Kara at all."

"You pushed Oscar around before, and now you're doing it in front of all of us? You're just a pathetic suck-up pretending to be important!" Naomi Jennings scolded me harshly while looking at me as if I were dirt on her shoes.

If this were the old me being yelled at by the seven sisters, I would've tried to explain myself and begged them to calm down.

But I wasn't that person anymore.

I stepped forward and slapped Oscar hard across the face. "Since you want to claim I bully you, then I'll make sure it's true."

Oscar froze, his cheek blazing red as he stared at me in shock.

Kara snapped out of it, pulled Oscar behind her, and glared at me with pure rage.

Chapter 3

"Percy, get the hell out!" Kara shouted at me.

She had already made up her mind. When I eventually crawled back and begged her to marry me, she would humiliate me twice as hard to pay me back for how I treated Oscar today.

Early the next morning, the Jennings sisters heard that I was holding the banquet again that night.

This time, the event was even fancier than the day before, and the hall was packed with people.

By the time the sisters walked in, most of the guests had already arrived.

They didn't even glance in my direction and headed straight up to the stage.

Guinevere smirked and hooked her arm around Kara's. "Look at all the rich guys here today. Instead of marrying Percy, why not choose someone from this whole group?"

"Percy is manipulative and heartless. I think you're better off staying single!" Naomi agreed.

As soon as Naomi spoke, Pamela Jennings nodded hard. "Kara, they're right. I can't stand Percy's fake behavior either. It makes my skin crawl."

Kara lifted her chin with pride. "Yeah, I don't wanna marry someone like him anyway."

"I think you've made the right choice. People who don't respect others don't deserve to even live!"

Sharon Jennings shot me a look and raised her voice even more. "None of us Jennings sisters want to marry that guy!"

Guests nearby heard their bold remarks and looked at me with pity.

If I had heard this in my past life, I would've exploded with anger and rushed over to confront them.

Even though Kara was the one I liked most among the sisters, I had treated all of them well.

Yet here they were, trying to humiliate me in front of a full room today.

Now, I just gave them a cold stare and went back to chatting with my business partners.

All of this chaos would end today.

Once every guest had arrived, my grandmother entered the banquet hall with the butler, Chad supporting her.

Instantly, the entire hall fell silent.

My grandmother smiled as she stepped onto the staircase and looked across the crowd.

"Today is a wonderful day. The Spencers have something important to announce."

She paused. "My grandson, Percy, is 23, and it's time for him to start a family. After he gets married, I will personally hand the family heirloom to my granddaughter-in-law."

The Spencers had been powerful for generations, and word had it that the heirloom was a priceless diamond worth a fortune.

Hearing this, the crowd burst into excited whispers, eager to see the legendary treasure.

My grandmother continued, "Now, Percy will announce who his bride will be."

Kara stood on stage while watching me proudly, her eyes filled with contempt.

She figured I would still kneel and propose to her today, even though I had said I was going to marry Michelle yesterday.

She decided to pull some kind of stunt to put me in my place when I got down on my knee.

Right then, a wave of gasps swept through the hall as people turned toward the entrance.

Michelle had arrived.

She wore a red evening gown and a soft, calm smile as she walked into the hall with effortless grace.

Michelle's figure was delicate, her skin pale and smooth, like an angel who didn't quite belong in this world.

While everyone stared at her in awe, I snapped back to attention, smiled gently, and announced with a loud voice, "Everyone, my bride will be Michelle Cooper, the CEO of Cooper Corporations!"
