Chapter 1
A stunning married woman came to me, asking to share an apartment.
She could not afford the rent, so she offered to pay with her body instead.
I thought I had conquered her both body and soul, but it turned out she had other intentions.
What I had believed was a moment of passion turned out to be a dangerous trap, as this woman was a black widow.
She snuggled up to me, laughing softly. "Don't you know that lust is a double-edged sword?'"
My name is Gavin York. I’m thirty-five years old, and I have worked in the city for the past five years.
It’s been tough to get by lately, so I decided to get a roommate to cut down on rent and living costs.
I advertised online and waited, but months ticked by with nothing. Just as I was about to take down the notice, a message from someone named Rose Wilder popped up in my feed.
Her profile picture showed a woman with a sultry, mature vibe, but her page was blank. It looked like she had just appeared out of thin air.
Rose messaged me to ask if she could move in right away. She was in a bind and needed a place to stay for a few months while on business.
People usually thought about renting a room for a long time, but she was ready to commit.
I did not question it since the faster I got a roommate, the quicker I could start saving money. I sent her my details and told her to come by the next day to check out the place.
…
The next day, a bombshell with curves in all the right places and the clothes to accentuate them rang my doorbell.
"Are you Rose Wilder?" I figured she was a woman, but I never imagined she would be this stunning.
She was dressed like she was hiding from paparazzi with a wide-brimmed hat, shades, and a black mask.
She was wearing a sultry red bodycon dress that accentuated her curves. Her full, voluptuous figure seemed on the verge of bursting out of the fabric, and her slender waist made her look graceful and delicate.
The dress was pretty short, and I would’ve had quite the show if she accidentally bent over.
My new roommate was a real feast for the eyes.
My ogling got a laugh out of her. "Cat got your tongue? Weren't you going to show me the room I’ll be moving into?"
She leaned closer, and I could not help but notice her strong presence. I swallowed hard, feeling a bit overwhelmed.
Her eyes had a way of capturing mine and holding my gaze with an intensity that I could not shake off.
The beauty removed her sunglasses and mask, revealing a face with delicate features and an elegant charm.
"Have we ever met before?"
I was sure we had not. A girl like her would have left a lasting impression.
Her playful voice snapped me out of my daze. It was pretty awkward to get caught daydreaming right in front of her.
I had to really focus on keeping my hands to myself, or I might have done something I would have regretted.
"Sorry, I zoned out for a second. Let's go check out the room."
I led the way, and she followed, wheeling a small suitcase behind her.
As we walked, we got to talking.
She introduced herself as Yvonne Watson. She was thirty years old, so five years younger than me.
She insisted I call her Vonn, and I had no problems with it. I did not have a nickname, so she just called me Gavin in return.
"Vonn, the room's pretty basic. This is my bachelor’s pad, so I haven't done much with the place."
I felt a bit sheepish. With her sophisticated look and youthful vibe, she seemed out of sync with the modest surroundings.
To my surprise, Vonn took one look at the room and decided it was perfect.
I was secretly thrilled.
Since Vonn was only looking to rent for a few months, we skipped the formalities.
She asked about the rent, but she did not immediately hand over the cash after hearing the amount.
I figured she might be tight on money, so I did not push it. She could always pay me later.
After all, she was not going anywhere else anytime soon.
What I did not expect was the unique way she would end up paying her share of the rent.
…
That very day, Vonn moved in.
She started sprucing up the place immediately, decked out in comfy loungewear as she cleaned the room.
Her outfit, though baggy, could not hide her striking figure. She had legs for days and a waist so tiny that I felt like I could wrap my hand around its entirety.
As she moved, her white tee bounced to her rhythm. It was a mesmerizing sight that got my heart racing.
Her bare calves peeked out, her skin so shiny and smooth. I could not help but think about what else I wanted those legs to do...
She was bent over, scrubbing away at a stubborn spot on the floor. Her backside was sticking up high in the air.
It was like she was putting on a show just for me.
From my angle, all I could see was her perfectly rounded behind.
Her clothes clung to her body so closely that I could even see the outline of her black underwear through her skirt.
Chapter 2
I was totally engrossed in the view.
My breath hitched. 'It must be great to sleep with her.' I wondered.
Vonn must have felt my stare because she spun around and caught me just standing there. "Gavin, did you need something?" she asked.
I was still reeling from the sight, so I blurted out dumbly, "I just wanted to check in."
"Check in on what?" she said, straightening up and looking at me.
The view was gone, and I was a little bummed out.
"I wanted to see if you needed anything. I have some extra stuff in my room I could pass you."
"That'd be awesome, Gavin. Could you grab me a chair?" Vonn said with a grateful smile.
"Sure!" I said as I walked away, wishing I did not have to.
After work, I picked out a chair for Vonn.
Before I could knock twice on her door, it swung open to give me a good view of who had been starring in my recent daydreams.
Her curls were tied back with a few strands playfully escaping, which framed her long and pale neck.
Even bare-faced, Vonn was a knockout and had an intoxicating presence. All I wanted to do was lean in and inhale her essence.
"Gavin, you're done with work early today! Why don’t you have dinner with me before heading back to your room?"
I could not refuse Vonn's warm invite, so I agreed.
Vonn was a whirlwind of activity in the kitchen, and soon, the delicious scent of cooking filled the air.
Watching her be all smiles as she bustled around, a cozy feeling washed over me. I felt like I was home.
"Gavin, I didn't have time to whip up anything fancy. It’s just a simple meal," she said.
Vonn was all over the place, setting the table and grabbing plates.
I felt awkward just sitting there, so I stood up to see if I could lend a hand.
However, Vonn shooed me away. "A big guy like you? I couldn't possibly ask for your help."
It was not long before she served up a spread of homemade dishes that looked and smelled amazing.
Vonn popped open a beer and poured me a glass.
There we were, two souls adrift, finding solace in each other's company.
Years ago, my wife left me because I was not ‘successful’ enough for her. She resented me for not being able to get her the big house or fancy car she wanted. She took off with someone else while I was hustling hard before we even had any children of our own.
With a sweet woman like Vonn by my side, I found myself craving the feeling of having someone to come home to again.
I was getting hopeful.
I asked Vonn if she had ever considered settling down with a decent guy.
It was tough going it alone in this big, cruel world.
She just looked down, not giving anything away.
Her sad expression told me she had also experienced her share of tough times.
I felt a tug at my heart for her. She was a woman who had been dealt a rough hand, and I wanted to be her safe haven.
I reached out, gently wiping away her tears. I did not know what to say, but I wanted to comfort her. Soon, she told me everything.
"Oops! Why am I even telling you all of this? You must think I’m crazy." Vonn dabbed at her eyes and poured me a glass of wine.
The old light bulb in the room cast a warm, yellow glow over us, making the atmosphere cozy yet slightly mysterious.
After Vonn shared her story, I found myself spilling my own past without holding back.
Vonn gave me a sympathetic look, her hand comforting mine.
I sensed an opportunity!
Gently, I placed my hand over Vonn's. She blushed, shyly looking down but not pulling away.
Her silent consent was all the encouragement I needed.
I took Vonn's hand, guiding it to where my heart beat the strongest.
