Eloisa PoV

It's almost evening but Kent hasn't home yet. This is the first time he came home late in our ten years of marriage. I shook my head and think of our happy moments together. Maybe he had much paperwork to do since he's the one handling our firm. While thinking about my husband, the telephone rings. I took it and put it on my ears. 

" Hello, may I help you?" I asked the person who called me on the other line. 

"Madam, I hope you still remember me?" it's the same voice I last spoke before I and Kent went abroad. 

"Rey? Why you suddenly calling me now? I thought our transaction ends there! Don't call me again! Bye!" I said while keeping lips calm. 

His chuckles ring in my ears. 

"Are you crazy Madam Eloisa? You paid us half so I called you to get the other half!" he said. 

My mind is in chaos now. How did he find me and knew my telephone number? This person is a pain in my head. I had no choice but to transfer the half amount of money to his bank account or else my secret comes out and if that happens, Kent will be disgusted with me and leave me. That is if Rey will talk to him but everything is under my control. No one will know what I did ten years ago. 

After we are done, I cut off our conversation and rest my back on my bed. I'm about to call my husband when the door creaked open and he suddenly appeared. 

"I'm sorry I'm late, honey. Many paperwork!" he mumbled after kissing my forehead. 

I accepted his excuse and smiled at him. 

"It's okay, honey. I know it's hard to be a CEO without me at your side but I trust you and your ability so I am sure you can do it. So, how's the new secretary of yours?" I asked him while helping me out from our bed and put me in my wheelchair. 

"She's better. Anyway, let's go and eat!" he said and he helped me. 

We ended our dinner early because my head suddenly throbs. Kent helps me back to our room. While he was putting me on the bed, I notice a lipstick stain on his collar. I close my eyes to confirm what I saw and I'm not mistaken. I wore pink lipstick and this one is red. 

"Go to sleep now, honey. I'll go to my study room to check some files for tomorrow's meeting," he told me and I nod my head. 

I had no idea when was the last time he went to his study room to do a work-related task. Is it okay for me to became suspicious or I am just overreacted? 

Kent PoV

I was inside my study room when Lucy texted me. 

***Lucy: "Where are you, sir? I miss you!" 

I felt aroused just by reading her texts. I wiped my lips with my hands and smirk. I think it's a teenager infatuation. I felt like we were still in high school after receiving her first message. I brought an extra phone for us. Our conversation is forbidden so it's not a good idea to use my phone. 

***Me: I miss you too. Are you happy?" 

***Lucy: Yes! Can we meet tonight?" ***

Why she's acting so clingy. I hate when shes like that. I didn't want to be attached to her because I may hurt her again or maybe I will only lie to my feelings! I decided to call her. 

"Just quick okay. I'll just wait for my wife to fall asleep and I will meet you there!" I instructed her and she shouted in joy. 

It's different now. Lucy, my first love is just my mistress and nothing else. Eloisa is my legal wife and for ten years I learned to love and understand her. Maybe I just miss her that's why I crave her presence. I went back to our room and found my wife asleep. I didn't attempt to disturb her. I keep it since Eloisa hated that scents and brought me another brand of perfume.

Kent Oliver made his way downstairs with his attache case. He called Ana to check his wife before he goes to work. 

Eloisa has been undergoing chemotherapy every once a week. To sure that her life is prolonged, this is the only way for her to survive. They went to the states for an advanced treatment but it's too late because the cancer cells have been taken over her normal cells on her body. It's hard to tell when she is going to die.

" Good morning, sir!" Ana greeted her when she saw him. She was on her way to his wife's room to check her condition. 

"Good morning too, Miss Ana. I'm going now so, please take care of my wife for me, okay?" He said as a good husband. 

Nurse Ana nods her head and goes on her way to Eloisa's room. Kent skips breakfast since he and Lucy will eat together inside the office. She called him in the early morning that she cooked food for them. Kent can't wait to taste the food of his past girlfriend which turned out to be his mistress now. He came early in their company. He was about to step inside the elevator when a familiar hand reaches to get in. 

"Lucy?" He mumbled to know who it was.

I was stunned at what she did. I think I can't lose this kind of opportunity especially were both alone inside the elevator.

"Kent, stop, someone might come in!" She whispered but her lips say no.

"I can't. I miss you!" This time he raises her hands on top of her head making her let go of the basket. It just falls on the floor.

"I think you hold it Miss Mason since you're our boss' secretary right?" The one with the name Brian in his name tag told me. 

I quickly accepted it and nod my head. There's something in his smirk and the way he gazed at me. I gulped trying to stay relax. I was nervous if they find out about my secret affair with the CEO. 

I'm glad the door swung open. I followed Kent inside his office to say sorry. 

"Don't mind them. What do they know? I can handle them later okay. So shall we eat?" He asked me while he was wrapping his arms around my waist. 

"Kent, please can you just stop that! If someone sees us, we're dead!" I warned him but he won't listen.

"No, I won't. Wait, I have a gift for you!" He said and took it from his drawer. 

It's a white bag. I wonder what is it. 

I sat on the chair to check it. He's waiting for my reaction on his desk. There's a box inside and it's a brand new cellphone. My eyes brightened when I saw it. I'm so happy. 

"Wait, is this for me?" I exclaimed happily.

"Yes, I bought it before I came here. Only my number will be saved there, okay. I bought mine too. It's safe to like this." He told me. 

I don't know how to thank him but because of excitement, I kiss him. 

"Thanks, again!" I mumbled. 

"Am I late for the news?" Fuck someone came in. 

Did he saw me kissing the CEO? Shit, we're both dead. 

"Gregory? You're always on time!" Kent knew him.

"Excuse me, sir!" I quickly walked out from his desk and went back to my desk. 

They shake hands and he sat on Kent's desk. 

He looked like a prominent person too. Is he one of Kent's friends or business partners?

"Long time no see, my friend!" Gregory said while his eyes were on Lucy. 

"Seems like you had a new secretary huh?" He asked him. 

Kent cleared his throat and loosened his tie.

"Yeah, she's pretty right?" He asked his friend.

Gregory raised his eyebrows.

"A new pet? Did your wife knows this?" He said and crossed his arms on his chest. 

Kent shook his head.

"You're bad. Very bad. Stop now or else I'll tell her myself!" He warned him. 

"Really? Go tell her and I will kill you!" Kent warned him too and Gregory laughed at him. 

"You don't change, do you? Well, she's hot. Who's a guy could resist her charm especially Mr. Stone." He stares at her again. 

"I hope you can keep a secret," Kent said to him. 

Gregory sigh. He thinks first. 

"Okay, my lips are sealed that you have a mistress!" And a smirk crossed his face.
