Chapter 1
Reyan Santana's POV
The party in the banquet hall of Graysen Corporation was at its peak. Large and luminous chandeliers on the ceiling of the room, created a festive ambience. Men and women dressed elegantly in suits and over-priced dresses, made me feel like I didn’t belong here.
I sipped the contents of the flute in my hand, scanning the dance floor for my victim. I smiled when I spotted a man walking up the stairs. Quickly downing my drink, I followed behind him.
My name is Reyan Santana. I am a slender girl in my mid-twenties with dark brown beach wavy hair accentuated with gold highlights. I was dressed in a backless sparkle next-to-body black sequined halter V-neck with palettes of silvers that shone under the chandelier. My eyes, which are of a sapphire color were covered in a light shade of mascara and a nude shade of lipstick covered my full pouty lips.
The make-up I had on barely hid the dapples on my face, which is something I wanted. I learned it came in handy for swindling. No, I wasn’t a swindler by profession. But desperate times called for desperate measures.
As my target finished the last of the steep stairs and negotiated a bend, I fasted my steps in hope not to lose sight of him.
Sadly, I did. As I walked through the quiet hallway of what seems to lead to the restroom, I occasionally tilted my head whenever I walked past a door that was slightly ajar.
“Looking for me?” A voice as cold as winter, yet utterly sultry called out, making me gasp. With my heart thudding in my chest, I slowly turned, then sucked in a breath at the man who leaned elegantly against the wall.
“You caught me,” I smiled and began to approach him. I had no idea where the boost of confidence came from, but it was highly appreciated.
As I stood close to him, it felt like every source of oxygen had been disconnected from my body. He was, well, different from every man I have ever come across. His piercing green eyes had to be his most striking traits. They were like two radiant gems, holding a captivating power to ensnare hearts. Above those eyes, his eyebrows commanded attention. Thick and perfectly shaped, framing his gaze like a work of art. His sharp cheekbones added elegance to his traits. His hair in perfect harmony with his eyes, flowed in a tapered, wavy fashion which each strand seemingly having a life of its own.
This man was beyond reasonable doubt, cast from another race.
“Well then, I must be a lucky man,” his voice tore me off daydream. My gaze landed on those electric eyes that swept me off my feet, sending a delicious surge throughout my spine. Before I could comprehend what was happening, big hands snarl around my thin waist, crashing my body against a stoned chest. My legs weakened. My breath hitched.
“There, you look better in my arms,” he commented and without further ado, his lips slammed against mind, taking me by surprise. It wasn’t long before I fully relaxed in the kiss. And when I did, our breaths mingled, warm and rhythmic as our lips fiercely brushed against each other.
My hands trembled with vulnerability as it travelled to his tapered hair, grabbing a fistful and pulling him further into me – if that was even remotely possible. Our mouths melded together, tongues entwining in a dance of fervour, making me forget why I’d followed him in the first place.
Slowly, my hands left his hair and travelled to his butt. I gently squeezed and he let out a fervent moan, pulling me closer into him. As his hand roamed with urgency, exploring the contours of my body, I, carefully as possible, dipped my hands into the pocket of his pants and pulled out his wallet and carefully secured it.
Then, he took my lips between his teeth and bit on it hard, intoxicating my senses with a heady scent of my arousal and ultimately turning my legs to jelly o.
“Mr Graysen,” a voice called out and against my silent plea, he pulled away from me. Passion burned me like an inferno as he stepped away from me and gently released it on my waist.
“Mr Graysen,” the voice called again and this time, the handsome devil tore his gaze from me.
I cleared my throat and hurriedly hid his wallet into my gold-sparkly clutch bag.
“You are needed at the banquet” the voice said. He walked away from me, taking a piece of my heart with him.
I, on the other hand, disappeared from the party before he could take note of his missing wallet.

Chapter 2
Declan Graysen's POV
“Everyone out! Fucking get out!” I yelled at the top of my voice. The air crackled with tension as anger swirled within the room, creating a terrifying atmosphere for my very incompetent employee. My face flushed with fury, my eyes blazing with fire that could melt steel.
“How hard is it to find one bloody fucking woman? How hard is it?” my face hardened as I fought to maintain control.
“Mr Graysen ... I…I’m sorry- “
“Get out, Jane. And you better have something for me by twelve or you’re fired!” my anger intensified, the room seemed to vibrate with my continuous mounting fury. I sighed and yelled as I watched my PA walk away.
It has been seven days since the banquet. A week since I ran into the most beautiful woman to walk the planet earth, and five days since I asked my very incompetent PA to find the girl who I’m convinced beyond reasonable doubts, is the woman of my dreams.
She was a vision of beauty. Her striking figures and captivating figures made it impossible to keep my hands away from her when I cornered her in the hallway. Her shimmering blue eyes drew me in, holding my gaze and setting an inferno inside of me. And those freckles scattered on her cute little nose like constellations in the night sky.
Her lips, oh, those lips. Full pouty beckoning with lusciousness. The moment my lips met hers, I became incredibly hard. Stone-rock hard. I stroke my cock every morning because she would visited me in my dreams. And this morning was no different.
I had to find her. No, scratch that. I need to find her. I need her slender body pressed against mine. I needed to quench the fire she’d set inside of me. And maybe then – hopefully, I’ll stop thinking about her.
But I knew that was impossible.
A frown appeared on my face at the sound of a phone ringing. Still annoyed at my futile interaction with my PA, I sighed and answered Andrews call. Andrews is my account manager.
“Andrews,” I spoke firmly into the call.
“Mr. Graysen! I’m sorry to bother you at this time of the day, but we’ve noticed some unusual activity in your bank account,” Andrews explained and I frowned.
“Several large withdrawals have been made over the past few days. Normally I’d direct this to your PA and have her sort it out, but I thought to reach out to you instead.” I frowned but stayed silent, waiting for him to get to his point.
“Did you by mistake lose any of your black cards? I know not to ask if you have made any payments or withdrawals. I had IT department look into it and the records shows these transactions were made in the suburbs of Verona,”
Confusion stirred in me as I tried to make sense of what Andrews was saying. Of course, I wouldn’t be caught dead in the suburbs of Verona, so how come I have these records. And what did he mean these transactions were made from my black card?
“I’m certain your mistaken Andrews,” I spoke into the call as I quickly searched my wallet. “I have my cards here-” my speech trailed off as I realized one of my cards had indeed gone missing.
“Mr Graysen?” Andrews voice trailed on the other end as I tried to recall when last I’d used that card. I had so much money that I barely kept tracks of my transactions. Reasons why I paid Andrews extra to handle that little issue for me.
My mind immediately floated back to the party and to the young woman I was with. It was foolish of me to even think that lowly of the woman of my dreams. But it was a path I had to walk on. After all, stealing wallets at a banquet wasn’t one of her traits right?
“Tell me, Andrews, you wouldn’t happen to have the address and possibly the name of the person who made these transactions, would you?” I asked, a mix of curiosity and amusement laced in my voice.
“Actually, I do, Mr Graysen,” Andrews fidgeted on the other end before speaking up again.
“27 Verona Lane. And for the name, a certain Reyan Santana.” I smile. A little too hard. Found you, little one. A mix of amusement welled up within me.
“You know what? I think I might have an idea of what happened,” I replied, a smirk forming on my lips. “I encountered a rather skilled pickpocket a few days ago.” I smiled as the image of my girl flew back to my mind. Not only was she incredibly sexy. She was also a thief. Quite a combination if you ask me.
Andrews’s tone turned sympathetic. “I’m sorry to hear that, Mr. Graysen. We will do everything we can to resolve this matter and recover the funds. However, I would advise you not to take matters into your own hands. Let us handle the investigation.”
I paused, contemplating Andrews’s advice. “I appreciate your concern, Andrews, but I think I can handle it. Don’t involve the police,” I reply, my voice filled with determination.
I searched throughout the city for the address Andrews had communicated with me. I came alone. I wanted to see the look on her face when she saw me. I knew it would be fun.
After a series of inquiries and following various leads, my search led me to a shady neighbourhood that didn’t look safe for anyone to live in. The GPS in my car indicated that I’d arrived at my destination. It was a little town house that looked like it was seconds from coming into pieces. Emphasis on the ‘seconds’, so much so that I was wary of stepping foot inside.
The woman of my dreams lived here. But not for long though, with what I have in store for her. I walked up to the door. It was slightly cracked opened so I walked in. The interior looked better than it did outside. It was heavily decorated, which is normal for any female owned property.
A picture on the wall caught my attention. It was my woman in a two-piece red lingerie with a pepper red bunny head. Her pouty lips covered in a bold shade of red lipstick and were slightly parted, revealing two big front teeth that made my cock rock hard.
“Who the hell are you?” a shaky voice came from behind me. I smiled. It was her. My little one. The woman of my dreams. Taking a deep breath, I slowly turned and wore the friendliest smile I could muster.
“Excuse me,” I began, “but you wouldn’t happen to be the one who stole my wallet, would you?”

Chapter 3
Reyan Santana's POV
My heart skipped a beat as I stood frozen in the doorway of my bedroom, my eyes widening in shock. There, standing before me, was Declan Graysen, the man I stole from, someone I had hoped to never see again. The smirk on his face made me shrink on the spot in shame. As he began to approach me, I quickly composed myself.
I tried not to let the fear in me reflect in my voice. “Who the hell are you? What do you want? I suggest you leave before I call the police.” I spoke as though we’d never met before.
He smirked. He bloody smirked. His gaze dropped down to my hand that was on my chest, holding firmly to my towel wrapped around my body. He stuck out his tongue and licked his lips, sending delicious shivers down my spine.
“Oh, Reyan, playing the ignorant card, are we? I must admit, it’s quite entertaining. Go ahead, call the police. It’ll give me the perfect opportunity to make sure you pay for stealing from me.”
Fuck! How did he know my name? My heart raced with a mix of fear and confusion. His calm amusement made me anxious. I hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether to keep up with my oblivion.
My voice trembled. “I-I didn’t steal anything from you! I don’t know what you’re talking about. Just leave me alone.” He walked closer to me. Each step makes me nervous. My hands trembled.
He leaned in, his voice low and menacing. “Now, now, Reyan, love, don’t lie to me. I know exactly what you did. You followed me at the party and seduced me just so you could steal from me. Didn’t you?”
His index finger caressed my chin before forcing my gaze to lock with his. Every ounce of amusement had disappeared and now I was staring into green eyes that made my skin boil in delicious ways, but at the same time, made me scared and want to run for my life.
Unconsciously, my hands came loose and the towel draped around my body fell off. I sucked in a breath as Declan’s gaze dropped down to my exposed chest and a sly smile appeared on his lips.
“Reyan, sweetheart, is this how you plan to repay the money you stole from me? By offering yourself to me?” he questioned in a mocking tone that made my skin fire up in anger.
My face flushed with embarrassment as I pushed him away from me and hurriedly picked up my towel.
“What you are doing is considered sexual harassment. You broke into my house and you are making me uncomfortable” I yelled.
The sound of Declan’s laughter resonated throughout my apartment. It was a melodious sound.
“And what are you going to do? Call the police?” he questioned in amusement. “Oh! You’d already threatened to call them. Well then, go ahead sweetheart, call them. I’m right here,” Declan sat on my semi tattered couch.
I was short of words. I knew my actions that night were going to bite me in the ass, but I didn’t think it would happen so soon. I was wrong for stealing his wallet. But I was desperate. I needed money for my mother’s medical bill and somehow, one thing led to the other and I couldn’t help but spend more. My best friend, Denise, is a skilled hacker. When she told me the credit card had no limit, I figured it wouldn’t hurt taking just a little bit.
Suddenly, he rose from my tattered couch. “Do you not know who I am? I am Declan fucking Graysen. The richest man in this fucking country and you dare steal from me? Get dressed! I am taking you down to the precinct”
My fear escalated as I realized the gravity of the situation. I had no idea how he found me, but his confidence suggested he had evidence and the power to lock me up. And that is the last thing I wanted. Desperate to avoid trouble, I searched for a way out. I nervously approached him and shamelessly got on my knees.
“Please, Mr Graysen, I beg of you, don’t take me to jail. I was wrong for stealing from you. I’ll refund the money I stole to the last bit, but please give me some time” I pleaded. The desperation in my voice was evident. My voice trembled with fear.
Declan laughed and leaned forward. I watched the amusement grow, relishing in the fear he had instilled in me. He savored the upper hand, knowing he had the power to manipulate the situation to his advantage.
“Tell me, do you know how much money you spent from my card? Ten thousand dollars. Now I wonder how you could possibly repay that given your living condition,”
I cursed inwardly. I hadn’t realized I’d spent that much money. Declan was right. There was no way I could repay that sum of money. Not with my mom in the hospital. I could always swindle another rich snob, but it had been easy for Declan to find me, who is to say my next target won’t find me just as easily as he did?
I took a deep sigh, closed my eyes and thought hard about the mess I was about to get into. Mother would never know about it. Even if she did, she would understand why I did it, right?
But what if Declan took my proposition the wrong way and I ended up pissing him further?
“Mr Grayson, I don’t have that kind of money to repay you. How about I offer something in exchange for the money I stole?” I asked sheepishly.
This seems to pick his interest as he corks a brow at me, urging me to proceed with whatever I had to say.
“How about I be your little plaything?”
