Chapter 1
After my sister-in-law, Cathy, hooked up with a rich man, Amara, Amara, asked her to eat pickled bullfrogs in order to get her pregnant before marriage.
I tried to persuade them that the bullfrog that it was not clean and that it would be fine as long as Cathy took some pills.
However, Amara scolded me, saying that I was jealous of Cathy who was about to become a daughter-in-law of a rich and powerful family.
Not long after, Cathy was infected with hair-splitting bacteria, and there were parasites crawling all over her body in to her skin.
The rich man immediately broke up with her. Amara and Cathy were so angry that they beat me to death and threw me off the building.
When I opened my eyes again, I returned to the day when Amara was holding a pickled bullfrog.
——
"In order to get married with the rich man, the best way is to get pregnant before marriage. Your womb is not healthy enough to get pregnant since you were a child, and I've just made pickled bullfrog for you to nourish your body!"
I watched as Amara took out the plate of bullfrogs. For some reason, I found the scene was a little familiar.
Cathy looked embarrassed and asked suspiciously, "Mom, is this really edible?"
I looked at the bowl of bullfrogs that she had chopped up. There was a layer of faint black frog seeds floating on the seafood juice. Under the light, I could even see parasites wriggling secretly.
I was in a trance for a moment before I remembered the scene.
In my previous life, when I saw this scene, I secretly poured the plate of bullfrog into the trash can and told them that wild bullfrogs had high toxins. It was not worth it to eat them.
However, Amara scolded me, "You're just a prodigal good-for-nothing! You're just jealous that Cathy can marry into a rich and powerful family just after her pregnancy."
As for Cathy, she was so angry that she took out a bullfrog from the trash can with her bare hands and stuffed it into my mouth to vent her anger.
"Are you jealous of me? Do you have the fate to do that?"
Memories of the past poured into my mind, and Amara's voice brought me back to reality. She said confidently,
"You don't understand. Bullfrogs are tonics! Ask Penny if you don't believe me. She is a nutritionist and must know everything."
I turned my head and immediately put the piece of bullfrog with parasites into her bowl. I smiled and said,
"That's right. It's pickled bullfrogs. It's good for your healthy."
She insisted on killing herself. Who could stop her.
Amara saw me reaching out with my chopsticks and warned me, "These precious things are all for Cathy. Don't even think about getting a share."
I totally agreed and said, "It is such a nutritious tonic. Of course, I'll leave it to Cathy. Cathy, Amara is considerate, right?"
Cathy was overjoyed by my words and happily ate the piece of raw meat with parasites.
As she ate, the parasite that she had bitten into pieces flowed down from the corner of her mouth, and no one noticed.
Cathy touched her belly while eating and said in a worried tone, "The doctor has already said that I'm difficult to get pregnant. What if I'm not pregnant yet?"
Amara didn't take it seriously. She told Cathy firmly, "That this is a hospital to let you have an examination and earn your money. They lied to you."
Cathy looked at me and asked, "Penny, how should you treat such a patient?"
When I heard this, I stopped washing the dishes.
In my previous life, I advised them not to be eager for quick success. They could just buy some pills.
But in return, I was killed by them and turned into ashes.
In this life, I will never be a sucker again.
"Amara is right. In the final analysis, it's in the form of a tonic. Since it's useless to be afraid of being filled with seeds, it's better to eat something else with seeds."
Amara's eyes lit up. She couldn't help but agree with my idea.
The next day, I saw a set full of seed meal carefully prepared by Amara at the dining table.
Not only were the pickled bullfrogs, but also crucians. Even the conch was on the table.
When Cathy saw the table, her smile froze on her face.
"What... what are these things?"
Amara was cutting a peach with a kitchen knife that had just been cut into a conch. It seemed to be stained with pink conch's egg liquid. Cathy ate the peach directly.
"It's a blessing to have more children. Eat it if you want to get pregnant."
Seeing that Cathy was reluctant to eat the things, I smiled and took her hand. I comforted her and said, "Do you think Amara will harm you? Don't hesitate. The most important thing is to get pregnant as soon as possible."
Cathy pursed her lips as she looked at the seed meal. It seemed that she had made up her mind. She picked up a piece of conch and put it in her mouth.
"That's right. Mom is really nice to me."
Amara grinned from ear to ear and stroked her hair.
I watched as the mother and daughter loved each other deeply and could only let out an imperceptible sneer.
If Amara treated Cathy better, Cathy would probably die.
Chapter 2
Just like that, Cathy had eaten this kind of food for a month, I was woken up by her loud cry of pain in the early morning.
Amara and I immediately came out to check. She covered her lower abdomen and fell at the door of the bathroom with a pale face. She clutched Amara's trouser leg in pain.
"Mom, my stomach hurts so much. Take me to the hospital as soon as possible."
Amara held Cathy in her arms, who was struggling in pain, and immediately retorted, "You don't need to go to hospital."
"The doctor in the hospital said that you are infertile, but you still want to rush to send them money? Listen to me, go back to the village to find Wizard Weaton now!"
After that, Amara grabbed Cathy's hand and dragged her from the sixth floor to the garage downstairs.
After driving for two to three hours, I heard Cathy's voice grow softer and softer as she endured the pain.
When we arrived at Wizard Weaton's house, Cathy had already fainted.
"Wizard Weaton, help me see what's wrong with my daughter."
Amara was anxious and she got off the car, went straight to the house, and invited Wizard Weaton.
Wizard Weaton's hair was disheveled, his robe was tattered, and his eyes were even blind.
Some said that it was because Wizard Weaton had opened his Third Eye that the immortal retracted his Mortal Eye.
But in fact, his eyes were blinded because he had been fooling around in my hometown and was be hurt by others.
Of course, Amara didn't know that Wizard Weaton in front of us was just a liar who had escaped from my hometown and lived for many years.
Wizard Weaton touched Cathy's tightly closed eyes, shook his head, and said, "This is her fate. I can't save her."
Amara screamed, knelt at the feet of Wizard Weaton, stuffed a sum of money into his hand, and begged,
"Wizard Weaton, please save her. The rest of my life depends on her!"
Wizard Weaton pinched the money and pretended to sigh in embarrassment. Then, he took out a piece of Yellow Paper and burned it into ashes, and mixed into water to Cathy.
In less than an hour, Cathy miraculously woke up.
Amara finally felt relieved. She kowtowed to Wizard Weaton three times and said with tears in her eyes, "This is the birth of an immortal. Wizard Weaton, thank you for saving my daughter's life!"
I stared coldly at the glass of water and the corners of my lips curled up.
I knew that Wizard Weaton had only soaked the Yellow Paper with veterinary antibiotics in advance.
At this moment, Cathy's reaction was the same as that of her previous life. She was at the early stage of being infected by parasites.
In my previous life, my husband died early. Before he died, he told me to take good care of Cathy and Amara.
Therefore, even though they treated my kindness as malice, I still sent Cathy to the hospital at the critical moment.
I spent money to buy medicine for her, but the first thing she did when she recovered was repay my kindness with ingratitude and beat me to death.
I wanted to see how long she could live without my help in this life.
Before leaving, Amara spent a lot of money to ask Wizard Weaton when Cathy would get pregnant.
Wizard Weaton stroked his beard and pretended to be mysterious. "This is fate. As long as you take the Water for a long time, it will definitely bless your children and grandchildren."
As soon as he said that, Amara began to spend money again. She emptied all her savings and brought back a pile of waste paper to eat with seed meal.
One day, when I went downstairs to buy groceries, I saw Amara stepping on a stinky pond in the park in water shoes.
She bent down and grabbed bullfrogs like a maggot.
I slowly approached her from behind. Pretending to be careless, I kicked her back.
"Ouch!"
Amara immediately fell to the ground and buried her whole face in the stinky pond. She immediately struggled to get up and scolded before she could see anyone clearly,
"Which bitch is blind? Believe it or not, I'll blackmail you to death!"
"Amara?"
Looking at her muddy mouth, I tried hard to hold back my laughter and said innocently, "I'm sorry, Amara. I slipped and accidentally bumped into you."
"Look at you walking around in the park. I thought there were wild boars in the park."
Amara's wrinkled face was covered with mud. She grimaced and scolded me.
"You fool, I'll beat you to death the next time you go out without eyes!"
I quickly said, "Yes." Then I turned to look at her empty basket and asked her if she could pick it up now because Cathy had been eating bullfrogs a lot at home recently.
Amara looked at me warily, for fear that I would covet the bullfrogs.
I smiled indifferently and said sincerely, "The bullfrogs in this pond are small. You have to go to the narrow ditch next to it. The bullfrogs there are the most delicious and nutritious."
"Since they are all supplements, of course, we have to give Cathy the best."
After that, Amara looked at the stinking ditch, and her eyes were immediately filled with surprise as if she had seen a treasure. She laughed excitedly.
"There are so many bullfrogs. Why are the bullfrogs in this ditch so big?"
I smiled silently.
This stinking ditch was connected to a public toilet. What lived in it was not bullfrogs, but toads.
The toad that was nourished by feces was, of course, big and fat.
I watched her grab the toad that was covered in feces with her bare hands. Her face was full of wrinkles, and my stomach was churning.
Chapter 3
When she got home, a strong smell of feces came into the house with Amara.
Not only did Amara bring back toads, but she also carried a black plastic bag. There seemed to be something flapping its wings inside.
Amara said happily, "See what good stuff I caught again? It's more nutritious than bullfrogs!"
After that, she opened the plastic bag, and a bag of moths covered in seeds, whose wings had been torn off by her, wriggled in the plastic bag.
I went over to take a look. The fishy smell made me dizzy in an instant. Amara pushed me away and said angrily,
"What are you looking at? Don't think I can give you such precious food."
I immediately opened the window to ventilate the air, and I was afraid that I would be contaminated by the exhaust gas. I nodded calmly and said, "Yes, yes, yes. Of course, I don't deserve it."
These moth must have been flying in the public toilet all the time. There were no mulberry leaves in the public toilet, so they could only eat feces if they wanted to live.
This was no different from a toad.
Amara washed her face with water and then twisted off the moth's head. She did not wash it, but she brought it directly to Cathy and asked her to eat it raw.
Cathy chewed until the table was full of seed meal. She smacked her lips and said, "It's really a tonic. Mom's cooking is delicious."
Amara didn't notice that her face was injured because of the fall. Her fingers, which had just been stained with the poisonous pus on the toad's back, accidentally touched the wound on her face.
She smiled as if her daughter would be pregnant soon.
I lowered my head and didn't say anything. In the following days, I didn't stop them. I just watched coldly as the parasites entered their bodies in various ways as usual.
However, not long after, when I thought that Cathy's illness would break out completely, her stomach unexpectedly became bigger.
What was even more unexpected was that her pregnant test stick had also tested two bars.
The mother and daughter seemed to be ecstatic for the rest of their lives, and they laughed triumphantly.
I was puzzled.
Why did Cathy suddenly get pregnant when it should have been more serious than in her previous life?
