Chapter 2
After a brief moment of tenderness, he carried me to the bathroom for a bath and then held me as we slept together.
He informed me that he would be away on a business trip for seven days.
As usual, he caressed my earlobe and warned me, "Thea, be obedient, I'll be back soon..."
And I responded dutifully, "I understand, I'll wait for you to come home..."
Satisfied with my reply, he held me close and drifted off to sleep.
Even in his sleep, his embrace was tight.
I felt like a teddy bear that belonged only to Aron, to be manipulated by him at will.
My education, from childhood to adulthood, was always intertwined with his.
From junior high to university, even when he studied abroad in England, I was by his side.
"Aron's canary" and "Aron's inseparable little follower" were labels I could never shake off.
Despite sharing a bed with Aron for so many years, I still couldn't get used to his breath and touch.
Every night spent with him is followed by a long, lonely struggle to fall asleep.
Tonight is no different.
But soon, I will be free of all this!
Aron is getting married!
In his quest for power, he inevitably had to engage in a political marriage.
He chose the Turner, who could provide him with the most significant support.
The woman he is set to marry is named Whitney, someone who has admired and loved him since childhood.
I had hoped that once he got married, I would slowly drift apart from him and leave him behind.
Unfortunately...
On the day of his engagement to Whitney, Aron made a special trip back to torment me.
He was uncharacteristically excited that night, pushing me to my limits.
Until, at last, I had no strength left, lying helplessly on the bed, tears streaming down my face as I pleaded with him.
And yet, after satisfying himself, he whispered tenderly into my ear.
"Listen carefully, even if I get married, you can never leave me. You will be mine for all eternity!"
I was utterly despairing, realizing that if I continued to submit to him and obey without resistance, I would never be able to break free!
So, I devised a brilliant plan.
The next day, the me who had always been submissive and silently endured everything suddenly changed her demeanor.
I not only initiated flirtation with him but also proactively showed concern for him, even going so far as to cook and deliver meals to his company.
My actions were beyond everyone's expectations, and even Aron was pleasantly surprised.
He never hid his affection for me; though he restricted my movements, he trusted me enough that I could freely enter his office.
I took advantage of this and deliberately chose a time when Whitney was in Aron's office to barge in.
And I made a show of flirting with Aron right in front of Whitney.
"Oh, what bad timing! If I had known she was here, I wouldn't have come."
I carried an exquisite bento box, dressed in a pink dress, with a makeup that was playful and adorable.
Upon seeing Whitney, I feigned jealousy and turned to leave.
"Thea, come back!"
Then, Aron, with a sweep of his arm, pulled me into his embrace.
He also playfully nudged my nose.
"Jealous now?! Hmm?!"
I pouted and threw a tantrum with Aron.
"Hmph, you're about to marry her, and I'm not even allowed to be jealous?!"
"Alright, my dear Thea, don't be angry. You know it's all pretend with her, right?!"
While I continued to flirt with Aron, I caught a glimpse of Whitney out of the corner of my eye, her face turning green with anger.
Perfect, my objective... achieved!
Chapter 3
Whitney's face turned green with rage. "Aron, we're about to get married, are you still going to keep her around?!"
Facing Whitney's questioning, he didn't even lift his head, just played with my hair attentively.
"What does our marriage have to do with her?!" Hearing his words, Whitney's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Bang!" She angrily swept everything off Aron's desk.
"What do you mean by this?! We're getting married, and you're still having an affair with this despicable woman. What do you think of me?! Can't you even give me the basic respect a wife deserves?!"
At this moment, Aron finally let go of my hair and looked at Whitney.
But there was no guilt in his eyes, only indifference and impatience.
"I said, I can marry you, but don't even think about anything else, and don't touch her! Do you understand?!"
Whitney, who was still furious, was intimidated by his gaze and couldn't help but retreat.
She gritted her teeth and looked resentfully at me, who was held in Aron's arms.
I also cooperated by snuggling deeper into Aron's embrace and threw a provocative glance at her.
"What are you looking at, you little...!"
Whitney was so angry that she wanted to rush up and hit me.
I pretended to be scared and hid in Aron's arms.
"Honey, I'm scared..."
Aron immediately glanced up, intimidating Whitney.
"Get out!"
Whitney's face was full of unwillingness.
"Aron, I'm your fiancée, what is she to you?!"
"Get out! Don't make me say it again!"
"You will regret this!"
Whitney finally bit her teeth and ran out crying.
And I watched Whitney leave, my eyes slightly moving.
My goal was achieved!
"Don't look, Thea, I forbid you to look at others. Your eyes can only have me!"
Aron was dissatisfied that I kept looking elsewhere, forcibly turned my face back, and then fiercely kissed my lips. His big hand also slowly reached into my collar, outlining my chest.
"Thea, don't be afraid, no one can take you away from me!"
But where Aron couldn't see, my eyes were filled with venom when I looked at him.
Aron, I want to leave you, so much, so much...
Whitney didn't disappoint me after all.
A few days later, she came to me.
Accompanied by security, I went to the mall and met Whitney in the fitting room.
"Twenty million, leave him!"
Whitney handed me a check as soon as she came.
I played with the check, my eyes flickering with an unclear light.
"Twenty million to get rid of me, it's a bit too mean."
Whitney was angered by me, gritting her teeth and asking me.
"What else do you want?!"
I replied calmly with my arms crossed.
"Prepare enough money for me, I want cash, find a place for me to live where he can't find me, and the sooner the better."
"You actually want to leave him?!"
Whitney looked at me in confusion.
As if in her eyes, being able to stay by Aron's side was a great blessing, but only I knew how terrifying that man was!
I didn't answer, just stared straight at her.
"Can you do it?!"
Whitney subconsciously retorted.
"Of course, what's so hard about that?!"
"Good, it's a deal!"
