Chapter 2
Customer Service: [Guaranteed authentic—no color discrepancies at all. The incubus in the video is the actual one. Every incubus in our shop has a unique size, personality, and build. Take him out, and you're guaranteed not to run into the same model!]
That was reassuring.
Me: [Does he need to be taken out… for walks?]
Customer Service: [No. But of course, if you do have that need, we can include a leash and collar as a free gift.]
Me: [Okay.]
Just in case he really did have too much energy and needed walking, a leash would be good to have on hand.
With no further questions, I paid and placed the order for the gentle, well-behaved incubus.
Right after checkout, a notice popped up: [Shop Owner's Note: Discounted items are non-refundable once signed for.]
That didn't bother me. The discount was already massive—no returns was understandable. Besides, I'd seen the exact incubus in the video.
Two days later, on the weekend, while I was sleeping in at home, the delivery notification finally came through.
I opened the door with excitement.
Standing outside was the very same incubus from the video. He had white, pointed ears and a long, slender tail tipped with a small heart.
His tea-colored eyes were clear and bright, his smile as gentle as a spring breeze. His features were delicate, his skin fair, and his entire presence radiated a warm, refined elegance.
"Master," he said softly, dipping his head. His heart-tipped tail pressed into my hand in a gesture of submission.
That was when I noticed another incubus standing behind him, wearing a sour expression.
Huh? Why was there another one?
I thought someone else's package had been delivered by mistake. But then the dark-skinned incubus looked at me and called out as well, "Master."
I was too shocked to speak.
I received two incubi? Were they both mine?
Before I knew it, I was holding a heart-tipped tail in each hand.
The white-eared incubus spoke gently, "If Master has no objections, we'll be forming the contract now."
Wait—hold on—
A soft white glow bloomed at the tips of their tails and settled into my palms, warm to the touch. In the blink of an eye, the contract was complete.
Before I could even process what had happened, they were already following me into the apartment.
The white-eared incubus sat obediently on the couch, gazing at me with gentle brows and eyes full of quiet warmth. His expressive eyes always seemed to carry tiny points of starlight and laughter.
As for the other one…
He was a black-eared incubus with wheat-colored skin and a head of wild, unruly curls. His features were sharp and well-defined, thick brows framing large eyes as dark as night. His gaze was keen and piercing, like a hawk's—faintly wild and difficult to tame.
From the moment he entered, the dark-skinned incubus hadn't stopped moving. He prowled through the apartment, scanning everything like he was inspecting his territory.
Only then did it dawn on me to contact the shop online.
Me: [Are you there?]
Customer Service: [Our system shows the item has been signed for. Is there a problem?]
I explained that two incubi had been delivered.
Customer Service: [Congratulations! You've unlocked the hidden variant.]
I was speechless.
Customer Service: [This model is a bit special. Buy one, get one free!]
There was really such a good deal?
Paying for one and getting two? And at such a steep discount?
I pressed my lips together and glanced at the white-eared incubus, who was quietly playing on his phone, then at the dark-skinned incubus, who was still sniffing around my apartment.
Me: [Can I return one of them?]
I had a feeling I couldn't handle the dark-skinned one.
Me: [I can't afford to raise two.]
Customer Service: [Incubi don't require feeding like dogs. All of our incubi are specially trained and fully capable of living independently. As long as they're fed properly, they'll help ease your worries and share your burdens in daily life.]
Customer Service: [Our system shows that two incubi have already been signed for, and the complimentary items have been delivered. We do not support returns.]
No matter what I said, the shop refused to take one back. I gave up.
Besides, I'd paid the price of one and gotten two. No matter how I looked at it, I wasn't losing out.
I kept telling myself I'd scored a bargain—over and over—until I adjusted my mindset. Then I looked back at them again.
Chapter 3
Not sure what to call them, I instinctively clicked my tongue, the way you'd call a pet.
The one with white ears immediately set his phone aside and answered politely, "Master, my name is Eli."
The dark-skinned one ambled over at his own pace, clearly irritable. "What?"
Eli, ever gentle and considerate, explained for me, "Master, this is Morgan."
Eli and Morgan—names that suited them perfectly. One light, one dark. Even their personalities were complete opposites.
I nodded and introduced myself. "I'm Yvonne. This will be your home from now on."
The shop had mentioned a complimentary gift, so I asked, "What's the freebie?"
"You'll see!"
At that, Morgan scoffed and turned his head away, sulking.
Tch. Such a bad attitude.
I glanced back at Eli. Always cooperative, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the gift—the leash and collar I'd mentioned to the shop earlier.
Under my watchful gaze, Eli calmly fastened the slim white collar around his own neck. Then he handed me the other end of the leash. "Master."
His white ears twitched faintly, and the heart-shaped tip of his tail swayed hypnotically behind him. Truly… an incubus capable of ensnaring anyone.
I swallowed and gave the leash a tentative tug. "Want to go for a walk?"
"That's fine. I'll follow whatever Master wishes," Eli replied softly.
Morgan scoffed. "I don't want the collar—"
Five minutes later, I was holding a leash in each hand—white for Eli, pink for Morgan.
The pink against his sun-bronzed skin was oddly striking.
Morgan looked both humiliated and furious, grinding his teeth. Even though he'd willingly put the collar on himself, he acted as if the universe had gravely wronged him.
What a temper. Morgan was definitely going to need some serious training.
Taking two six-foot-plus incubi outside on leashes would've been… extremely eye-catching. "Let's just stay inside," I said. I had no desire to see myself splashed across tomorrow's gossip feeds.
After half an hour of indoor "walking," I finally loosened the leashes.
Eli looked puzzled, the tip of his tail curling around my leg. "Master, is it already over?"
Already?
I patted his head. "We'll play tomorrow. First, let's eat."
Eat well—and then warm my bed, I thought.
Eli's tea-colored eyes darkened slightly, though I couldn't quite read the emotion there. I turned toward the kitchen instead.
As I pulled ingredients from the fridge, it hit me—I wasn't alone anymore. Two freshly acquired, very large incubi were now living in my apartment.
I went to ask about their food preferences, only to find Eli had already taken off his shirt. His pale skin revealed lean, beautifully defined muscles.
I'd assumed his gentle personality meant a soft, delicate build. Apparently not.
Worse—he was urging Morgan to take his shirt off too.
Morgan stiffened, the curls in his hair bristling. "No way! I'm not performing for anyone! Taking your shirt off? Even dogs don't do that!"
I froze. "What… exactly are you two doing?"
At the sound of my voice, Morgan's defiance instantly faltered, though his tail snapped straight up behind him.
With a reluctant rip of fabric, he finally yanked his shirt off, voice tight with resentment. "Fine. Let's just get this over with."
Unlike Eli, Morgan's build was obvious even through clothing. Shirtless, his sculpted, bronze-toned body radiated raw, masculine power—every muscle sharp and solid.
Raw power… for what, exactly?
I was completely lost.
Eli asked softly, his voice melodic, "Master… aren't you going to feed us?"
"Oh. Right," I said. "Do you prefer tomato-and-egg scramble, or egg scramble with tomatoes?"
Chapter 4
Morgan froze, his expression stiff with embarrassment and irritation. "I already took my clothes off, and this is what you're telling me?"
Seeing the two tomatoes in my hands, Eli immediately understood.
He smiled gently. "I almost forgot—this is how humans eat."
Th-then how else would we eat? When you're hungry, you eat food. What else—air?
Thankfully, Eli was considerate. He stepped over, took the two tomatoes from my hands, and said thoughtfully, "Master, please wait outside. Leave the cooking to me. Morgan and I aren't picky—we can eat anything."
It was already autumn, and under his apron… he was wearing nothing.
I asked, "Aren't you cold?"
Eli's hands were long and well-defined, clean and elegant. Even washing vegetables looked pleasing when he did it.
He replied softly, "As long as Master enjoys looking."
Nonsense. I couldn't resist reaching out and brushing the tail that swayed lazily behind him.
Heh. I didn't just like looking—I liked touching too.
As expected of the incubus I chose. Eli was perfectly to my taste.
Eli was incredibly capable with his hands. In less than half an hour, three dishes and a soup—full of color, aroma, and flavor—were neatly laid out on the table.
"Master, please enjoy your meal."
I called the two of them over to eat as well.
Ever since I started working and living alone, I hadn't had a proper meal. Every day it was takeout or instant noodles, and any vegetables in the fridge usually ended up in the trash.
Looks like I made the right purchase.
I'd thought incubi were only good for warming the bed—who knew they could cook too?
I remembered something a netizen had said: [As long as you keep an incubus well fed, there's nothing he can't do.]
I kept piling food into Eli's bowl. "Eat more. When you're full, warm my bed later."
Eli smiled. "As you wish, Master."
Seeing how well Eli and I got along, Morgan snorted coldly from the side.
I tried to build some rapport with Morgan as well, but his personality was terrible, and he clearly wasn't interested.
Strictly speaking, I'd bought Eli. Morgan was the buy-one-get-one-free bonus. I suspected his bad temper was exactly why he hadn't sold and ended up as a free add-on.
I assumed Morgan wouldn't be involved when it came time to warm the bed—but after I finished showering and came out, there was one incubus lying on each side of the bed.
The entire bedroom was filled with the dense, heated scent of masculine hormones.
Eli smiled and beckoned to me. "Master, come quickly."
Just before getting onto the bed, I had a sudden realization and stopped short. "The bed's warm now. You can get off. Your bedroom is next door. I've already made it up for you. There's only one bed for now, so you'll have to make do. I'll buy another one tomorrow."
After all, I hadn't expected there to be two incubi.
Eli obediently got off the bed. He paused, standing there for a moment, looking confused. "Master… you don't want us to sleep with you?"
I tested the warmth under the blanket. "No need. I'll call you if I need anything."
Eli pulled the stubborn Morgan along, turning back every few steps. There was a kind of disappointment in his eyes that I couldn't quite understand. "Master… is there something we didn't do well enough?"
"No," I shook my head. "You've already done great."
Cooking, washing dishes, warming the bed—those netizens were right. This was way better than boyfriends who only knew how to get on your nerves.
Wrapped in the blankets, surrounded by the faint fragrance left behind by the incubi, I drifted into sleep—and ended up dreaming.
In my dream, two incubi wearing collars, clothes half undone, were tied to the foot of my bed. The scene was unbearably seductive.
I actually had a wet dream. And the objects of that dream were the incubi I'd bought.
How shameless!
What was wrong with me—like some total pervert, even having lewd thoughts about my own incubi?
The customer service had said incubi would give me ultimate tenderness, but it hadn't gone so far as bliss beyond reason. Still, in the middle of the night, my mouth was dry, and I got up to pour myself a glass of water.
As I passed the guest room, I vaguely heard Morgan's furious voice.
"Eli, she's toying with us!"
