Impostor in My Name
During my senior-year internship, I opened my family's entire gemstone mine for my classmates to dig and collect from.
However, Keith Coburn shamelessly stole my identity as a wealthy scion and claimed the mine belonged to his family instead.
After I exposed his lies, he shoved me straight off the cliff.
I begged the girl I'd supported for help. Unfortunately, she chose to stand by Keith's side rather than save me. She even delivered the final blow herself.
When I opened my eyes again, I was back at the moment Keith pushed me off the cliff.
This time, I immediately called my fiercely protective father for help.
I'd like to see how long Keith could keep up this rich scion act once my father arrived.
The Real Fraser Heir
The dizzy sensation of falling through midair made me realize I had been reborn to the exact moment Keith Coburn shoved me off the cliff.
"Logan, who the hell do you think you are to embarrass me like that? You should know your place. A broke loser like you will never be in my league."
I tumbled down the rocky slope, sharp stones tearing through every patch of exposed skin. Pain ripped through me, causing my breath to come out in harsh gasps of pain.
My girlfriend, Lucia Joy, stood not far away.
However, she made no attempt to stop Keith.
She didn't even try to help me. Instead, she looked down at me coldly and said, "Logan, quit playing dead. You only rolled halfway down the slope. How badly could you possibly be hurt?"
In my previous life, I had shakily taken off my shirt to show her the bloody cuts covering my chest and back from the rocks after hearing those words.
To my dismay, Lucia had pulled out her phone to take pictures of my sorry state, accusing me of having no shame and deliberately stripping in the middle of nowhere to seduce her.
I didn't bother asking her for help this time around. I silently pulled out my phone and texted my father.
There wasn't enough time, so I only sent my location and two words—Help me.
I was the Fraser family's only child. To outsiders, my father was a ruthless business tycoon who ruled over his domain with an iron fist, but he had always been endlessly patient when it came to me.
He would definitely arrive within half an hour.
I would survive this life as long as I could hold on until then.
The second the text was sent, Keith suddenly snatched my phone away and smashed it onto the ground.
"Who exactly do you think you can call for help, Fraser? I'll make sure you pay for all the humiliation you put me through today!"
I stared at him coldly. "Humiliation? I only told the truth—"
Before I could finish speaking, Lucia stepped forward and slapped me hard across the face, her eyes dark and vicious. "Logan, you're despicable. Even now, you're still denying Keith's identity. Apologize to him!"
As she spoke, she viciously shoved my head into the ground. A jagged rock sliced open my forehead, and I cried out in pain. Alas, my shouts of pain only seemed to excite her more. She pressed my face even harder against the dirt.
I had supported my girlfriend for 10 years. I'd originally planned to surprise her at graduation by finally revealing that I was the heir of the Fraser family who had funded her all these years. I never expected her to betray me first.
I had done nothing wrong, so there was no way I would apologize.
Lucia, who was eager to impress Keith, kicked me hard in the stomach. "I'm warning you. I'll make you regret it if you don't apologize today!"
The agonizing pain made me curl up instinctively, my legs buckling as I collapsed onto the ground.
I knew they were capable of doing far worse. After all, they had beaten me to death beneath this very cliff in my previous life.
Keith looked down at my miserable state and sneered. "Look at you. You think you can steal my woman looking like this? Take a good look at yourself."
I lay sprawled on the ground, gasping for breath.
As I had already embraced death once, I no longer held any expectations for Lucia. Still, I had to survive until my father arrived. Only then would I have a chance to live.
Just as Lucia lifted her leg to kick me again, I shouted at the top of my lungs, "Keith isn't the Fraser heir because I am! Lucia Joy, I'm the one who's been supporting you all these years—"
