"You've got so many evening gowns. Just pick one, problem solved." Otto walked over and patted Sophia on the shoulder.

Sophia looked up at my brother. "Otto, thank you. I don't blame Millie. I'm sure she didn't mean it."

My mother heard the commotion and came out of the kitchen carrying a fruit tray.
