Chapter 4
After hearing this, Vivian didn't know how to refute it and could only look at Liam hesitantly.
Liam's face also looked unhappy.
"Who just made the comment? And he's always supporting my wife. Why should he support her?"
Then he shouted at me,
"Sienna, are you a fickle person? Are you flirting with other men out there?"
I want to yell back.
"It's none of your business. I'm divorcing you right now."
But I was running so hard that my heart almost exploded, so how could I utter a word?
But in Liam's eyes, it was just guilty consent.
He sneered and directed his bodyguards.
"Since Mrs. Williams is so courageous, why not increase the speed to 120? Let's see if your lover dares to come to your rescue."
"Oh, add some broken glass to the stones, and some salt to disinfect them."
As soon as I finished speaking, my heart trembled and I wanted to scold Liam.
"You son of a bitch, try running on broken glass. If you want to kill me, just tell me."
Following Liam's order, the bodyguards scattered sharp broken glass shards along the gravel road, flashing sharp rays of light in the sun.
Have a bodyguard sprinkle coarse sea salt along the bloodstains.
I tried hard to climb onto the moving truck, to hang myself on the frame so I could catch my breath.
Seeing me trying to grab the rear rack by pulling the rope, Vivian reminded me,
"Liam, if my sister climbs onto the car, does that mean she wins? Then everyone will admire her for being so good."
The people who were betting also interrupted.
"Mr. Williams, I bet $500,000 on my sister-in-law's apology. If you let my sister-in-law win, my money will be wasted."
Another brother also spoke up.
"Mr. Williams, you are our boss. We may lose money, but you will lose face. There are hundreds of thousands of fans watching you in the live broadcast room."
Liam's face darkened and anger swirled in his eyes.
"Sienna, are you deliberately trying to embarrass me? Do you look down on me so much? Are you relying on the fact that I pamper you and refusing to bow your head?"
Liam immediately instructed the bodyguard,
"Take the bamboo pole and get in the car. If Mrs. Williams gets close to the car, hit her."
Vivian echoed from the side, with a hint of sinister pride in her eyes.
Soon, the truck stopped and two bodyguards jumped in. I just took a breath and wanted to say something when the car roared and drove away again.
I had no choice but to run while pulling the chain.
I soon realized something was wrong. The two bodyguards just avoided Liam and raised their bamboo poles to hit me on the head.
I subconsciously tried to dodge, but my feet were stepping on broken glass, and the stimulation of sea salt made every nerve in my body throb with pain.
In a panic, I fell awkwardly onto the gravel road.
The truck was still speeding wildly, and I was dragged on the stones and rolled over. My skin seemed to be scraped off by a knife in an instant, and the glass shards in the stones penetrated deeply into my abdomen, thighs, and chest.
A long trail of blood soon appeared on the ground.
I was in so much pain that my vision went dark. I could only tilt my head back to prevent my face from rubbing against the ground.
I'm afraid that I will be nothing but a skull, which is too scary.
When the truck came rushing over, Liam saw a bloody man rolling on the gravel road, dragged behind the truck.
In an instant, Liam jumped up in panic and shouted,
"Stop the car. Stop the car now."
But the truck was running wildly like a wild horse out of control.
Liam was like crazy, chasing after him and shouting.
When he was running so hard that he could only exhale but not inhale, and his feet were broken, they finally worked together to stop the crazy truck.
Chapter 5
Liam covered his chest, walked to the driver with a purple face, and slapped him in the face.
"Are you going to die? Why didn't you stop the car?" The driver covered his face in grievance.
"Mr. Williams, this is not my fault. The Riverdale Gravel Works car is too old and the brakes are not working."
Liam didn't bother to argue with him and hurriedly ran to me to pick me up. In the end, his hands were shaking and his eyes were wide open in shock.
There was not a single piece of healthy skin on my body, and he didn't know how to start, because every touch from him was a torture to me.
He raised his shaking hands.
"Sienna, hold on, I'll take you to the hospital right away."
Just as he asked the doctor to bring a stretcher, Vivian ran over and fell onto the stretcher, which broke immediately.
Liam saw this and screamed in pain.
"Vivian, what are you doing?"
"I'm sorry Mr. Williams, I was just anxious. I got hurt because of my sister, so I just want to apologize to her."
Although Vivian looked pitiful at this time, Liam only saw me, who was deeply hurt.
He called me nervously.
"Sienna, wake up and hold on. I'll take you to the hospital right away."
"Mr. Williams, the lady has a large area of scratches on her body. She needs immediate disinfection and first aid. Call a specialist."
Although the accompanying doctor had superb medical skills, he was unable to conjure up various medical instruments in the open air in the suburbs.
"Mr. Williams, my sister hasn't apologized yet. She won't apologize to lowly people like us. I'll apologize to her first so that she'll feel better. Maybe she'll apologize to me. After all, everyone is watching us. I can't let you lose face."
Vivian knelt down in front of me and kowtowed twice.
"Sister, please give Mr. Williams some face and bow your head and submit."
When Liam heard this, he stopped the secretary who was calling the expert, turned around and gently stroked my hair, with a hint of sadness in his tone.
"Sienna, don't be stubborn. Everyone is watching us. Can't you just kowtow to Vivian and say sorry?"
"As long as you give in, I will call the best specialist and you will be free of pain immediately."
The instant blood loss and pain had made my consciousness gradually blurred.
I lay on the stones, under the blinding sunlight, wanting to slap Liam in the face.
"Liam, if I die, I won't let you go even if I become a ghost."
Vivian looked at me with a strange expression on her face, and suddenly pounced on me.
"Sister, I don't want you to apologize. This is all my fault. You can hit me or scold me from now on. I will never say anything back. Please don't curse Mr. Williams."
Liam's friends also started to blame him.
"You still don't let Mr. Williams go even though you're a ghost. Your father is almost a ghost himself, yet he's still so crazy."
"She doesn't even give her eldest brother any face. She's still so stubborn even though Johnson Family has collapsed and gone bankrupt. No wonder Mr. Williams likes Vivian. Who doesn't like a gentle and considerate woman?"
Liam's face also turned ugly. He turned his head to look at everyone and finally said in a cold voice,
"Why are you still standing there? Help Mrs. Williams to kneel down and kowtow to Vivian to apologize."
"Hurry up, apologize and send Mrs. Williams to the hospital immediately."
He looked at the doctor.
"Where's the adrenaline? Give it to Mrs. Williams immediately to keep her going."
The doctor saw that I was pale and sweating profusely, and was afraid that I really couldn't hold on, so he immediately took out a syringe and gave me an injection.
As soon as the injection was completed, two bodyguards immediately lifted me up and made me kneel on the ground, and pressed my head to knock against Vivian’s head.
