Chapter 1
: Family of Four
I'm a housewife with OCD and a severe obsession with cleanliness who accidentally entered a family-raising game.
I beat up my rebellious son, roughed up my adorable daughter, and even unpicked the stitches on my husband's corpse-like body just to sew them back on again.
The day I cleared the game, the three of them were a sniffling mess as they saw me off.
It wasn't until the final scoring that I learned the truth. My handsome Husband was a horror game's Main Boss, my Son was The Grim-faced God who ensured no player ever survived, and my lovely Daughter had once bitten the heads off 100 different players!
Huh? I thought this was supposed to be a family-raising game. So I was in a horror game all along?

[Welcome to "The Family of Four" game instance.]
[Please play your role of "Mom" well.]
[Objective: Survive for 10 days and safely board the plane back to the real world.]
[Players: 100. Survivors: 100.]
[In the real world, you are in a vegetative state. You can only awaken by successfully clearing the game. Death in the game is permanent. We wish you all a pleasant game.]
I'm a full-time housewife. I was in a car accident on my way home from grocery shopping.
When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a game world.
The name alone made it sound like a family-raising game.
I quietly sized up my surroundings. I was surrounded by other players who had also been pulled into the game.
Many of the players were terrified of their new surroundings. A few of the men were already screaming profanities.
A veteran player in the crowd, Brother Yates, began to explain, "This is an Infinite Flow Game. The only way to clear it and be revived is to get an SSS-Rank Score. Otherwise, you'll be killed by the Instance Boss."
"So how do we get that score?" a girl who looked like a student asked.
Brother Yates sighed. "You have to get the favorability of every boss in the instance to 100. Only then can you leave. But so far, not a single player has managed it."
The student-like girl clutched her head and started sobbing. "I want to go home! I miss my mom!"
Her despair was clearly contagious, and others began to wipe away their own tears.
'I didn't really get it. Isn't this just a family-raising game?'
'Why is everyone so scared?'
'This won't do. I need to clear this game and get out of here, fast.'
'If I'm not home, who's going to pick up the kids from school? Who's going to clean the kitchen? Who's going to help with homework?'
'My Husband will definitely go to bed without washing his feet!'
'The very thought made my blood pressure shoot up to 180!'
The veteran player in the crowd was staring at me like I was insane.
"This newbie's gotta be crazy. We're playing with our lives on the line here!"
"She's calm now, but she'll be crying her eyes out soon enough. This is The Family of Four instance, after all!"
Scrolling comments zipped across my vision.
"This newbie is fearless, but only because she's ignorant. Let's see if she's still not crying the second she steps inside. I've never seen anyone make it through The Family of Four with all their limbs intact."
"Exactly. I bet she doesn't even know you die if your Sanity Points hit zero."
"I can't wait to see her get her head blown off by the Instance Boss the moment she walks through the door. Hahahaha."
Chapter 2
: The Fallen Youth
2
The mechanical voice sounded again: "All players, please return to your homes according to the Number Tag in your hand."
I subconsciously reached into my pocket and pulled out a Number Tag with "1001" written on it.
Following the mechanical voice's instructions, I arrived on the tenth floor of the apartment building.
A very wealthy family seemed to live on the 10th floor; their apartment took up the entire level.
My eyes lit up instantly!
'Doesn't that mean there's so much to clean!'
I have severe OCD and mysophobia. Ever since I was a child, I've loved cleaning and can't stand the slightest speck of dirt.
After becoming a housewife, it got even worse. I only feel at ease when my home is perfectly clean.
I once washed a black piece of clothing until it turned white and scrubbed the floors until they shone like a mirror. The dishes in our house were always arranged in perfect, neat rows, as if they were standing in formation.
My Husband and Daughter found it unbearable and often argued with me about it.
Looking at the massive house before me, I suddenly felt I had a new space to fully unleash my talents.
A moment later, the door swung open from the inside. The sight that greeted me was an absolute disaster.
Flickering lights, a living room splattered with some unidentifiable red liquid, black mold peeling from the walls, and a sofa caked in dust and grime.
My eyebrow twitched. My gaze locked onto the teenager sitting on the sofa with his feet propped up on the coffee table.
He had a mop of curly yellow hair, five or six studs in his ears, and wore ripped jeans with a chain attached.
He had the complete look of a juvenile delinquent.
He heard the door open and looked up at me, his eyes filled with a crazed bloodlust. "You're back. I'm hungry. Hurry up and make dinner! I want Braised Eyeballs and Stir-fried Human Hands."
The live comments began to gloat.
"Damn, she ran into the instance's second Main Boss right at the start. This newbie's luck is really something else."
"Looks like she's a goner. She's dead if she does and dead if she doesn't, unless the rookie actually chops off her own eyeballs and hands, hahahaha."
Seeing that I wasn't moving, the teenager pulled a knife from his waistband and pointed it at my throat.
It wasn't that I hadn't seen him move. Instead, my face darkened as I stared, fixated, at his feet on the coffee table.
'I suddenly understood one of the missions in this parenting simulation. As the Mom, my job is obviously to save this degenerate teenager!'
Chapter 3
: The Taste of a Mother's Love
3
As a mother, there's one thing I can't stand: a school-aged kid who goes astray!
Dressing up like a delinquent at such a young age!
I'll make you taste what a mother's love is all about!
I snatched up a nearby Feather Duster and smacked him hard on the leg. "Is that any way to talk to me? I'm your mother! And what is this nonsense? Putting your feet on the coffee table! What if we had guests over? How would that look? Get them down!"
The boy's phone dropped from his hand. He looked up and stared at me, his face blank and utterly bewildered.
"Holy shit, does this newbie have a death wish? How dare she treat the second boss like that?"
"The second boss is probably going to bite her head clean off. This is too gory for me, I'm out, I'm out."
Oblivious to the stream of comments, I grabbed him by the ear and hauled him to his feet!
"What are you looking at? What I say, goes! If you don't clean this coffee table right now, I'll be the one cleaning your clock! And another thing, what on earth are you wearing? What is that ridiculous Gaudy Emo Hairstyle? Why weren't you at school today? Are you asking for a beating?"
