Ketty's Pov

As today I had decided to leave the house during the divorce process,I was preparing a final breakfast for my husband.It only made my heart hurt more to keep seeing his face.

I'm currently having breakfast with a slice of bread and a glass of milk.Seeing Jordy's arrival made me leave without caring about the rest of my breakfast.Meanwhile,Jordy seemed indifferent to my attitude.That made me even more confident about going through with this divorce.

But when I walked,my stomach felt very nauseous.I ran to the bathroom and vomited all the contents of my stomach.Coming out of the bathroom,Jordy's attitude was still the same.He didn't ask how I was.

As if in this family I was the one who was wrong.Even though I was the victim,betrayed and disappointed.Even my identity as a wife is not respected.

Last night,I slept in the guest room,I didn't want to share the same bed with him.

When I was about to go to the guest room,I heard a sound from outside.

"Jordy,it's me,Anne!"

I saw my husband stand up from his chair and walk out with a big smile on his face.Even though when he was with me,he was never that happy.

I followed his steps.Anne's arrival made my head hot.That woman dared to appear in front of me and even set foot in my house.

"What's wrong,Anne?"Jordy asked while hugging Anna's body,making me,who was secretly hiding,feel jealous.

"There's something I want to talk about,"answered Anne with a hurried face.

"Yes,darling.Let's talk inside,okay?"

Jordy was shameless,he dared to bring Anne into the house.Even though I already knew about their affair,he had to remember my feelings.

"Why did you come to my house?You shameless woman!"I said annoyed while glaring at Anne.

"Shut up,Ketty!You have no right to this house,I'm free to take anything,including Anne,"he said,defending Anne.

"I'm still your wife,we're not divorced,Jordy.Remember that!"

"I don't care if you are my wife or not.Anne is the person I love.I would give anything for her."

"Don’t you remember,Jordy?She left you and married someone else.Now you want to get back in touch with her?Are you insane?You were just being used,Jordy!"

Jordy didn't answer,I hope my words can wake him up.

"Jordy,don’t listen to her!You're not defending me?I'm pregnant with your child,"said Anne.

Hearing Anne's answer broke my heart.Meanwhile,Jordy smiled happily when he heard the news.

I have been waiting for a child for many years.And it didn't work,apparently because Jordy was playing around with drugs.Then Anne,his ex-girlfriend who had just returned,easily gave Jordy a child.

"Have you eaten?"Jordy asked Anne.

"Not yet,"she answered.

"Ketty,hurry up and make breakfast for Anne!"

Jordy dared to give me orders,who was actually the hostess in this house.Me or Anne?

I was not her maid and I didn't want to make food for that cheap woman.I chose to leave without saying goodbye to my husband.Why should I respect him as a husband?He didn't even respect me.

I went into the room to get a large suitcase containing my things.While walking,I noticed they had changed places.They were both in the living room.Jordy fed Anne with great attention.

Even when I was sick,he never took care of me at all.Never took me to the hospital.

Decided to go ahead and carry on.And not a single sentence came out of my husband's mouth.I'm also sure he definitely didn't glance at me at all.

Smelling the aroma of medicine made my stomach even more nauseous.I decided to stop by the hospital before leaving for my new home.Maybe I've been thinking too much lately.

"How is it,Doc?"

What did I have to do?I would divorce Jordy.Then Anne was also pregnant with Jordy's child.Then if I talked to him,would he believe that I'm pregnant?Even if there was evidence,he would definitely think that the evidence was fake.I'm sure the presence of this child would not be accepted by him.

I left after thanking the doctor.While walking through the corridor,I kept thinking.Should I abort this child?However,the child in my stomach is innocent.Or should I defend it secretly?

Because my mind was blank,I didn't pay attention to my footsteps.I accidentally bumped into someone's body.

"Oh,I'm sorry,"I said,feeling guilty.

"What are you doing at the hospital,Ketty?”

Hearing a voice that now sounded foreign made me raise my head.My heart was pounding fast,cold sweat started to pour out.It was Jordy.

I couldn't possibly be honest with him.

I fell silent and left.However,my footsteps stopped when I heard his words.

"The divorce papers will come tomorrow,you just have to sign them.I will take care of everything!"

Tomorrow,we would officially separate,why so soon?Without realizing it,my tears fell.I didn't answer his words.He must have come to this hospital to check on Anne's condition.

Jordy really cared about her,while I seemed to have to struggle alone to raise my child.I would never tell Jordy about my pregnancy.Besides,he wasn't a good husband and father either.

Ketty's Pov

Wearing a black dress makes me look elegant.I went to my friend's birthday party,gave him a gift and wished him a happy birthday.

Actually,I was too lazy to come to this event because I was sure Jordy would also come.

I also get together and talk to each other.Most of them tell stories about their husbands'lives and romantic attitudes.I just kept quiet,there was no way I could lie about Jordy's attitude towards me.And I can't possibly say that Jordy is a bad person.

I didn't like exposing people's disgrace,especially my own husband.Maybe the time would come when his bad behavior and infidelity would be exposed.

While I was enjoying the party,a woman came up to me.

"What are you doing here,Ketty?"asked Anne,smiling meaningfully at me.

“I should be the one asking you questions?”

“I was taken by your ex-husband,”she said with a chuckle.

Anne's words surprised everyone.I'm embarrassed to hear that.But if everyone knew the truth,they would definitely be on my side.

"Go away,I don't want to argue!"

I didn't want to fight with that bitch,not because I'm afraid but because I don't want to ruin my friend's event.

"Why are you afraid if I tell you?All of you here,listen to me carefully,okay?Ketty is barren,she can't have children.That's why Jordy left her and chose to be with me.Look,this child is a witness to my love for Jordy!"she said while stroking his flat stomach.

The atmosphere that was previously calm was now busy talking about me.Everyone surrounded me and Anne.

What a crazy confession.She was a woman who destroyed other people's families but proudly flaunted it.I couldn't understand what Jordy saw that made him love Anne so much.

"Don't embarrass Jordy,Anne.Get out of here quickly!"I said while holding hands.

But I was given another surprise by Anne.She fell to the floor,even hitting his stomach on the table.

"Ouch,it hurts.You want to kill my child,Ketty?Are you jealous because you can't be like me?"

Anne had always been a drama queen,I let her talk at length.

"Ketty,what did you do to Anne?"said Jordy,who suddenly came.

I was silent,after all,I didn't do anything to Anne,even to everyone who saw her.She threw herself down.Then why should I be blamed?Moreover,she had been looking for trouble and messing up this place.

"Ketty pushed me,"she said,pointing at my face.

"I didn't push her!If you don't believe it,just ask everyone here!"

"Lies,everyone here will definitely lie and defend Ketty."

"You're crazy!You're the one who said I couldn't have children.Just so you know,Anne.I'm not infertile,this is the man who gave me contraceptive medicine!"

I pointed at Jordy's face,so everyone would know the truth.I didn't care about Jordy's reputation anymore and besides,he didn't care about me either.Of course everyone was shocked to hear my words,even now,Jordy's face looked embarrassed.

"Ketty,please stop!I know you're pregnant.If you talk again,I won't be responsible for the child!"he said in a whisper.

Hearing Jordy's threatening words made me chuckle.Shouldn't he be responsible as my husband?Besides,I didn't need it either,I could live independently.

In my opinion,Jordy and Anne were a suitable couple.They’re both crazy.

"Oh,so you know about my pregnancy,Jordy?You don't need to be responsible for this child,I can still raise him.Just take care of your crazy future wife and your illegitimate child!"

"How dare you talk like that,Ketty!If I weren't the one responsible,the child would be born without a father.Nobody wants to be a widow and pregnant,"he said.

"Who said?I want to marry Ketty,I can even marry her tomorrow."

A sudden voice of a man coming shocked us.

"Jack?"

Jack's presence confused many people.Because he had been gone for years and now he's back again.

He was my best friend during college,but because of his father's job,he moved and continued his studies in America.Even when I married Jordy,he didn't come.

"Wow,you’re a great liar,Ketty.It turns out you're also having an affair with Jack,"said Anne,who was now on her feet,helped by Jordy.

Anne seemed to be brainwashing Jordy.

She framed me for cheating on me with Jack.Gosh,I didn't even know Jack was back.

"Or could it be that you are pregnant with Jack's child?"said Jordy,who was consumed by Anne's words.

"So you’re this type of man,Jordy?I just came back this morning and I just met you guys tonight.Ketty doesn't deserve to be with you,she should have found a better man.Not a bastard like you,"said Jack while hitting Jordy in the face.

"If you don't want to take responsibility,that's okay,Jordy.But let me tell you once again that I'm pregnant with your child and I'm not having an affair with Jack.Don't accuse me of covering up your mistakes."

"Come on,Ketty,you don't need to serve your ex-husband.And you,Anne,Maxim is looking for you,"said Jack,holding my hand.

Jack took me out of this party.Now I was,in his car.He would take me home.During the journey we were silent,a feeling of awkwardness enveloped us.

"Has Jordy always been rude all this time?"asked Jack,who finally spoke.

"That's right,Jack,I can't stand him anymore.Besides,I've already signed the divorce papers."

"Are you sure you want to divorce him?"

"I'm sure,because this marriage can no longer be maintained.But I want revenge on Jordy,he must know how evil Anne is.Actually,I'm not sure whether Anne is pregnant with Jordy's child."

"If you want to expose Anne's rot,I will help you.Tomorrow we will meet Anne's husband,I know him.He is my business partner in America.”

"Is that true?"

"Yes,he's looking for Anne.Good news she's here."

This time luck is on my side,I will prove Anne's stupid idea of only wanting Jordy's wealth.

Ketty's Pov

As Jack said last night,he would introduce me to Anne's husband.This morning,I came quickly because I didn't want to miss the opportunity.

I waited for Jack and his friend to arrive.We had promised each other to meet at the cafe near Jordy's office.

I waited five minutes,my gaze was distracted by Jack,who came with a man.He must be Anne's husband.

"Sorry for making you wait so long,Ketty.Let me introduce you to my friend.He's Maxim,Anne's husband,"said Jack,introducing his friend.

“Nice to meet you,Maxim.My name is Ketty."

"Hello,Ketty.I have heard your story from Jack.I have been looking for Anne all this time,it turns out she ran away into the arms of your ex-husband.She has deceived many men.The child is mine and Anne is already two months pregnant."

I was surprised to hear Maxim's words.I thought she was just destroying my family,but it turned out she had taken a lot of victims.I also asked Maxim to tell me more about Anne.

When Maxim told the story,I could only shake my head.Anne had deceived seven men just to take her property and said that she was pregnant.Even though she wasn't pregnant because of that man.Just like Jordy,who fell into Anne's trap.

I already had strong evidence in my hands,I would prove Anne's crime and make Jordy feel guilty.

“Maxim,can you help me?I want you to confess to my ex-husband and explain the truth!”

"Of course.Apart from working here,I plan to take Anne back to America."

"Thank you,Maxim,for wanting to help me.Also,thanks to you,Jack.If it weren't for you,I wouldn't have known this truth."

We chatted while finishing the drinks we ordered earlier.And after that,I don't want to waste any time.The three of us were going to Jordy's office,I was sure Anne would be there.

But before leaving,I asked Jack and Maxim for permission to go to the bathroom for a moment.

I walked alone while imagining how worried and afraid Anne would be if her evil plan was discovered.Especially when Anne saw her husband.

As I walked,I felt goosebumps on my neck.I even heard the sound of someone's footsteps following me.The cafe atmosphere looks quiet,because customers usually come during break times.

All my feelings were mixed.I'm scared,I'm worried,but I'm also curious.I boldly looked to see who was following me.

"No one."I looked around me,it looked very quiet and calm.

Until I felt an object hit my head.Everything I saw was spinning,my head hurts.And as time went by,my vision became blurry.

"You will die in my hands!"

I faintly heard a sound,until finally I couldn't stand it any longer and closed my eyes.

My eyes opened slowly while holding my aching head.I looked around me.

This place looks damp and dirty.I even smelled a strong smell.

“Why are my hands and feet tied?”I said surprised.

I had no enemies.So far,I lived peacefully.I never interfere in other people's problems.Then who has evil intentions towards me?

I remembered Jack and Maxim.Those two must be looking for me.With all my strength,I screamed for help.However,in this place it seemed like no one could hear my voice.

"Help...help...."I screamed again while trying to untie the ropes that tied my whole body.

"It's useless for you to shout,Ketty.No one will be able to hear your voice.”

I widened my eyes when I saw Anne's arrival.So the person who kidnapped me was that bitch.

"You crazy woman,let me go quickly!"

"If I let you go,I'm sure you'll take Maxim to Jordy."

I smiled,apparently the reason Anne kidnapped me was because she was afraid I would reveal lies about her.

"You fool if you kidnap me.Your lie will still be exposed.There will still be Jack and your husband."

Hearing my answer,Anne's face looked annoyed.

"No,he won't take it apart because you are here.Before I kill you,I will make you suffer,"she said,taking out a knife.

I was surprised to see a sharp object in his hand.She walked towards me with a crooked smile.Being tied means my body was locked.Even if you scream for help,it feels pointless.

Now I could only surrender when Anne plunges the knife into my body.I screamed in pain while holding back my tears so I wouldn't cry.I didn't want to be weak in front of Anne.

It turned out this woman was not only crazy,she was also a psychopath.

"How about it?Your body has become prettier,right?"she asked while looking at me.

A light dazzled my eyes,Anne apparently took my photo.

I saw blood splattered around me.I looked at my body,which was covered in scratches.

"Hahaha...I don't care about my body,Anne.Even though I'm ugly,my heart isn't as bad as yours.”

"Damn,quickly stop Maxim and Jack from telling Jordy!Or I'll make you regret it!"

At first,I didn't care what she said.Even though She stuck a knife in my arm,I'm still strong.But when she looked at my stomach,it made me speechless and weak.

"Watch out,you dare to hurt my child!"

"I won't hurt him,I just told him to leave before he feels the cruelty of this world,Ketty!Quick,tell them to stop!"she said,pointing the knife at my stomach.

I surrendered to her,she recorded me.In the video,I ordered Jack and Maxim not to reveal Anne's lies.I didn't want my unborn child to be the target of Anne's crimes.

"I'm glad you finally gave up,Ketty.But don't expect me to let you go."

I saw Anne leaving.I'm not a fool,she would definitely do the same thing again later.I couldn't just stay quiet,I had to get out of this place.

Anne's departure was my chance to try to escape.I saw a knife lying below.Shifting my body to get closer to where the knife was.I tried to pick it up and untie my rope.

And finally,I succeeded.

"Damn you,Ketty.Where are you going to run away?"said Anne,who had returned.

I looked at Anne in panic,I had just managed to escape.However,the bitch came back.

"If you dare approach me,then I will kill you,Anne!"I threatened while holding the knife.

The knife I used to open the knot earlier.And now it's my weapon.

"Give me back my knife,Ketty.Don't threaten me,I know you won't dare do that.Unlike me,quickly return the knife or you'll regret it!"

I saw Anne's face,which was frightened by my threat."No,you think I'm that weak.I dare to kill you,after all,it's to protect myself."

Anne walked towards me and I still faithfully pointed the knife at her.I have to stay strong and brave to fight it.Because I don't want my life to end just because of this bitch.

"Back off,Anne,or I'll kill you!"

"Just try it,Ketty!"said Anne with a sharp gaze.
