Chapter 2

I loved beef, so I ordered a lot! I ordered five sandwiches! I loved the salad, so I ordered two!

I added some other dishes randomly. I secretly glanced at the price, and it was almost over a thousand dollars.

I couldn't help but laugh in my heart. My friend and I only spent a little over 300 dollars on the meal.

If it weren’t for Laura, I wouldn’t dare to eat as much as I want!

"I've ordered. How about you take a look at it? Is there anything you want to add?"

I handed the tablet to Jordan. He didn't seem to notice that I ordered a lot and even added some of his favorite meat.

When Laura came back with a bottle of Orange Juice, Jordan gave her the tablet and her face turned pale.

But she didn't say it to my face.

The ingredients were served one after another, and Jordan realized that we had ordered surprisingly much.

He looked at me in surprise. "Simona, I didn't expect you to be such a big eater."

I blinked and smiled sweetly. "There are many things you can't imagine!"

While eating, Laura couldn't help but start acting weird again and brought up some old stories with Jordan.

She said that one time, when they were playing basketball together, she accidentally sprained her ankle, and Jordan patiently carried her to the infirmary.

"Simona, you are so lucky to be in love with Jordan!"

I looked surprised and said, "Wow, you two seem pretty close. Why didn't you date at that time?"

My eyes were clear, and I pretended to be really curious.

Jordan interrupted with a guilty conscience. "Simona, don't get me wrong. We don't have that kind of relationship..."

Of course, I knew their relationship.

Jordan had known her for such a long time, but they hadn't dated, but he pursued me. Didn't it mean that he thought Laura was not qualified to be his girlfriend?

"What?" I ate beef. "I didn't misunderstand. I know you only love me. Otherwise, you would have been dating Laura a long time ago. I understand you!"

After saying that, I freed up one hand and made a gesture of love to Jordan.

I would never have done something like this in my previous life. It was too embarrassing.

Seeing that I was not angry at all, Jordan actually frowned slightly, seeming a little puzzled.

In contrast, Laura couldn't utter a word. She didn't touch the food on the table at all and just kept drinking.

After a while, she felt a little dizzy and lay on the table with a red face, seeming to be calling Jordan's name.

I listened close to her, then looked at Jordan's guilty face.

I was surprised and said, "She said she like sunshine. She must like sunny days. Me, too. We just have things in common!"

Jordan wiped the sweat from his forehead. "I don't know, but it's quite hot to eat here. I'm sweating."

Jordan and I sat in silence. I was just eating, but he didn't eat or talk.

Seeing this, I quickly gave him some food. "Isn't this your favorite cheese cake? Why don't you take a bite?"

"I am full." Jordan took a deep breath.

"What? Then you can take Laura home. She is so drunk that she can't go back by herself."

I had a concerned look on my face, and I definitely looked kind and understanding.

"What?" Jordan almost blurted out, obviously very surprised.

My words were indeed surprising.

His girlfriend actually asked him to send another woman home. It showed I trust him.

After being stunned for half a second, Jordan stood up and pointed at Laura a little awkwardly. "Well, I..."

"Go ahead. Would it be inconvenient for you to ride a bike? How about I call a taxi for you?"

I said as I was about to take out my cell phone.

Jordan hurriedly stopped me. "No need. I can find a way myself."

As he spoke, he put Laura's arm around his neck and helped her stand up, but she didn't have enough strength and stumbled.

He gave me an awkward look.

I suddenly remembered something and asked hurriedly, "Did Laura pay? If not, I might not have enough money, and I can only borrow from others..."

I lowered my head in grievance.

Chapter 3

"We can't let you pay. I'll pay when I pass by the cashier later!"

Jordan would not let me borrow money from others to pay the bill. All our friends were from university. If I ask one person, everyone will know about it.

By then, the whole university would be spreading the news that Jordan took two women out for dinner and asked his girlfriend to pay for them. He would be embarrassed.

I smiled and nodded, watching them both go away.

I wanted to spend their money.

Why didn’t I want to do this in my previous life?

As soon as they left, I called my best friend, Vivien Roberts.

There were so many dishes on the table. It was okay for me to treat her to a meal.

Being nice to my boyfriend might result in him cheating on me.

But my best friend would never betray me.

I took a sip of the orange juice bought by Laura. It tasted good if others paid for it!

Ten minutes later, Vivien, who was already lying on the bed in the dormitory, rushed over quickly, saw a table full of food, and started to eat.

"You ordered so much by yourself? You must have won the lottery! Please support me!"

As she said this, she stuffed food into her mouth.

"This is not using my money. It was Jordan's friend who treated me!"

I curled my lips, rolled my eyes, and stopped pretending.

Honestly, I just hated this scumbag and this bitch.

"I was just about to tell you. There must be something going on between Jordan and that bitch. When I was riding my bike over here just now, I saw them hugging each other and going into the hotel, the one in front of the university!"

I narrowed my eyes, slowly moved closer to her, and whispered.

"Do you think they will stay together till morning?"

"Simona, why are you a little excited? He's your boyfriend. Aren't you angry?"

Vivien touched my forehead, thinking I was crazy.

"Bullshit! Jordan is not worthy of being my boyfriend! I am just playing along with them! If he hadn't pursued me for two months, would we have had anything to do with each other?"

Vivien made a gesture of praise with satisfaction.

"You're so good! You've become a powerful woman! I told you at the beginning that this man is unreliable, and that Laura is a bitch, but you refused to believe my words. I'm so angry that I really want to punch you!"

Half an hour later, two women who had eaten enough walked out of the restaurant.

On the way Vivien was taking me back to university on her bike, I saw Jordan’s bike still parked in front of the hotel.

I jumped off the bike and took out my phone to take a video. I first took a picture of the time on my best friend's phone and then took a picture of Jordan's bike.

I wanted to keep the evidence so that it would be easier to punish them later.

I was no longer the stupid woman in my previous life. Now, I was a powerful woman!

When I returned to the dormitory at night, I couldn’t sleep, just like in my previous life. But this time it was because I overate.

Because of insomnia, I left university at exactly six in the morning.

For no reason, I just wanted to see if Jordan's bike was still there in front of the hotel.

Unexpectedly, I happened to see them walking out of the hotel side by side, and they could see me if they just turned their heads!

Then, a hand patted my shoulder!

"Simona, you're always late for class. Why did you get up so early today?"

Turning around, I saw Vivien's tired face. I didn't expect that she also got up early.

I gave her a wicked smile, "Vivien, you look so tired. Are you suffering from insomnia?"

Vivien replied slyly, "Of course, I'm here to see how they're getting along like you are."

I handed her the bread I had just bought, and we both squatted behind the bike.

While eating the bread, we watched Jordan and Laura walk into the university side by side.

I took a photo of it by the way.

“I don’t know if Laura will do something again.” Vivien took a bite and choked.

I stuffed milk into her hand. "I wish she would do something. Okay, let's go back for the morning class!"

Vivien followed me slowly and stuffed the remaining bread into her mouth.

"I really don't want to go back to class and see them again."

Because there was still more than an hour before class, Vivien and I went back to the dormitory to put on our makeup, then met downstairs of the dormitory and went to class arm in arm.

Chapter 4

When the bell rang for class, Jordan finally arrived, looking very proud. When he saw me, it was natural for him to sit next to me.

At the same time, I caught a glimpse of Vivien secretly turning her head and rolling her eyes, then lowering her head and fiddling with her phone, which made me laugh.

Laura followed him closely behind and greeted me, "Simona, can I sit here?" She pointed to the seat next to Jordan.

I smiled and nodded. Of course, they were a couple.

But I wouldn't say that. That would be too deliberate.

"Good morning, friends. Please sit down. You don't need my permission!"

Seeing me greeting her with full energy, Laura was stunned.

She was shocked to find that from yesterday till now, I was not the least bit angry about her.

On the contrary, Jordan was a bit abnormal and actually asked her to sit with the girl in front of her.

Laura stood there awkwardly. "I'm not familiar with those girls... I only play with boys, you know."

Jordan just looked at the blackboard and pretended not to hear.

The teacher had already started the class. All the students were sitting quietly in their seats except Laura who was still standing there.

The classmates cast doubtful looks at her. Laura was a little at a loss but still stood beside Jordan and was unwilling to leave.

When I saw this scene, I secretly felt sorry for her, but Jordan was determined not to pay any attention to her.

Laura became increasingly uneasy but gave me a look of resentment.

It was none of my business.

The teacher at the podium also noticed her and thought that such a student was disrespectful, so he immediately became angry.

"The girl over there, please find a seat and sit down."

Laura looked at the teacher aggrievedly, then pointed at me and said something in a voice that no one could hear.

Seeing that Laura seemed not to understand what she said and refused to sit down quietly after being called, the teacher directly took her to the front door of the classroom and stood her there.

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Laura looked so aggrieved and embarrassed, and her expression was gloomy.

In fact, university teachers were not like teachers in junior high and high schools. They would not easily make students stand in the corner as punishment. Laura was also the first person to be punished by standing in the corner in professional courses this semester.

It was miserable and embarrassing.

I poked Jordan's sleeve and pretended to scold him, "You didn't let her sit down just now. How aggrieved Laura was."

Jordan seemed somewhat moved. Seeing Laura's aggrieved expression, he was a little angry at me and said without thinking,

"It's all for you." Jordan realized he had said the wrong thing as soon as he said it and quickly changed his words with a smile.

"Isn't this just to give you the sense of security that all girls want?"

It turned out that boys understood these.

It turned out they knew how to make girls feel safe!

The reason why he didn't distance himself from Laura in his previous life was simply because he didn't want to, not because he didn't understand.

After realizing this, I became more and more disgusted with the person sitting next to me. If he hadn't glanced at me from time to time, I would have rolled my eyes.

After class, Jordan held my hand with a gentle look in his eyes.

"Will you come and watch me play basketball later?"

In my previous life, Jordan loved to let me watch him play basketball. The sun was strong on the basketball court. Seeing him and Laura having close contact from time to time, I had to keep telling myself to be magnanimous.

Every time I watched them play basketball, I got angry.

But in this life, I wouldn’t go.

Why didn't I just do something I liked? Why should I make things difficult for myself?

I pulled Vivien, who had clear eyes beside me and said with a smile, "I won't go. Vivien asked me to go shopping."

Vivien didn't care about anything and immediately agreed, "Yes, we made an appointment. I'm sorry, Jordan, for taking up your girlfriend's space."

A hint of displeasure flashed across Jordan's face, but seeing that we were all smiling, he didn't want to get angry.

I still remembered that in my previous life, every time Jordan took me to meet his group of friends, he always introduced me with some pride.

"This is Simona. Isn't she beautiful?"

In this life, I would no longer support him.
