Chapter 2

The sharp burning sensation rushed straight to the forehead, and I could not hold back my tears any longer.

I patted and grasped my chest, and the heart-wrenching words from the private room echoed over and over in my mind.

A week before my wedding day, I was suddenly kidnapped and experienced a day and night that was worse than death.

My fiancé, Conrad Ryder, held my hand affectionately and told me that he loved me and was still willing to marry me.

Unfortunately, when I was waiting for the wedding ceremony with a great joy, a high-definition video of me being humiliated appeared on the screen.

He broke off our wedding and left me with a lot of sneers and curses as a slut from many people.

It was Timothee who rushed in, blew up the big screen with a shot, then hugged me in his arms, and fiercely pushed back all the humiliation and abuse.

He asked someone to carry ten boxes of gold and give them to me, saying that he had fallen in love with me a long time ago, and if he could not marry me in this life, he would not be able to rest in peace.

It was his determined eyes that conquered me, but now he told me that everything he did was to pave the way for Tatiana.

No wonder on the wedding day, Tatiana looked at me with a strange smile in her eyes.

I was kidnapped because she said her car broke down and asked me to pick her up.

She knew early on that all of it was just a plot set up by Timothee for her.

She was mocking my foolishness, and even more proud of having such a backup guy who would do anything for her.

And the care and love he showed me over the past three years were just false pretenses that Timothee put on in order to squeeze out my last bit of value.

But I regarded being the executioner as salvation, which was ridiculous!

My fingertips dug into my flesh and I gritted my teeth tightly. Pain and hatred surged in my chest and I could not stop crying.

The familiar breath fell from above my head. Timothee kissed the corner of my eye with heartache. However, his brow furrowed and he cursed. "Which bastard made my wife cry? I'll kill him."

The venue was silent, and everyone was too frightened to even breathe.

He took out the gun from his waist and placed it in my hand. He held me in his arms and held my hand. He looked at everyone present one by one and said, "Baby, just shoot anyone you don't like. Your husband will take care of you."

Those who met his gaze were trembling uncontrollably, but not a single one dared to hide.

In the territory of Celestia, Timothee was the leader of one of the two largest gangs, and no one could afford to mess with him.

I stopped when the muzzle was pointed at Killian's head.

Killian's eyes widened and his face turned pale with fright.

The words "I was the one who selected those people who shot the video one by one" kept ringing in my ears like a curse.

My chest was heaving violently, and when I was about to pull the trigger with teary eyes, the muzzle of the gun was pressed down.

"Wifey, the doctor said your IVF was successful, so you'd better not to see any blood. It's not good to scare the baby."

He gently comforted me, and there was no trace of falsehood in the care in his eyes.

I almost could not help but applaud his superb acting skills.

Seeing that I was in a bad mood, Timothee noticed the wine glass in front of me and pinched my palm, asking, "Wifey, how long have you been here? Why don't you come upstairs to find me?"

There was a cautious probbing hidden in the words.

I lowered my eyes and said calmly, "You guys are talking about things upstairs, it's so smoky and hot, I don't like it."

He patted my head with relief and asked the nanny to bring me a cup of sobering tea. As soon as the servant handed me the tea, he suddenly picked up the gun and shot the servant in the head.

I did not even have time to react before thick blood splattered all over my face. The servant's hand was outstretched when she fell down with her eyes wide open.

My lips trembled and my whole stomach spasmed uncontrollably.

Timothee, however, acted as if nothing had happened. He put down his gun, carefully wiped my face with his sleeve, and fed me the sobering tea mouthful by mouthful.

Chapter 3

I forcefully swallowed, trembling all over my body.

In the corner of my eyes, Killian had the servant dragged out.

A winding blood trail was left on the floor.

"If she can't even stop my wife from drinking, even hurting my son, there's no point in living."

I looked at his sinister eyebrows and eyes, and my stomach churned.

Timothee touched my face with heartache and said, "It's all your husband's fault. You've suffered so much. We finally have a baby now, so you're not allowed to drink anymore."

"This child must be born healthy no matter what, get it?"

I took several deep breaths before forcing out a dry smile and responded, "Okay."

But my heart was trembling with coldness.

In the three years since I got married, I got pregnant six times, but each time I had miscarriages for no apparent reason.

Too many times, it had become habitual miscarriage.

Half a year ago, the doctor declared that I would never be able to have children again.

Timothee hugged me and said that it did not matter if he did not have children, as long as I was happy and healthy.

I had always been worried about not being able to give birth to a healthy child for him. After inquiring from multiple sources, I decided to go with the difficult in vitro fertilization option.

My stomach was riddled with needle pricks, and I was given handfuls of hormone pills.

All the sufferings I had endured ended up being for Tatiana's benefit.

Just because she said she was afraid of pain, I would lose the qualification to be a mother forever and become a reproductive machine.

"What's wrong? Your face looks so ugly? Are you feeling uncomfortable? I'll get a doctor over right away."

"I'm fine, I just have some morning sickness."

The man's eyes were red with distress, and he stroked my face gently. "You've worked so hard. I only regret that I can't help you bear it. We got married in a hurry, and I ordered your favorite wedding dress to be air-shipped. I'll take you to try it tomorrow before your belly gets bigger."

I stared at him. His eyes were full of affection. He treated me like a fool and deceived me again and again.

If he knew that I had no intention of giving birth to this child, my fate would be the same as that of the servant just now.

I pulled the corner of my mouth and said, "I'm going back to my room to rest, you guys have a chit-chat."

As soon as I got back to the room, I could not help but rush to the bathroom and vomited until my stomach twisted into a ball.

Tears streamed down my face. The physical pain was not even one-tenth of the pain I felt in my heart.

After a long while, I got up and came out, just in time to see Timothee's mobile phone that he had forgotten on the coffee table.

I picked it up for some unknown reason and unlocked it after trying it only once using Tatiana's birthday.

The screen saver of the mobile phone was a photo of Tatiana leaning on his shoulder, smiling like a blooming flower.

I flipped through the photo album one by one.

There were more than five thousand photos, and every one of them had Tatiana's figure.

He used four folders to save and record Tatiana in different periods. Each folder had a note with only one word, which together read "Only Love in this Life".

In their chat records, Timothee once risked his life to steal the crown of Queen of Arendale overnight.

I suddenly remembered the day when he was hit by two bullets and almost could not come back. It was me who brought my mother's only relic, a priceless ancient rare diamond necklace amulet passed down from my ancestors, to buy him back from the royal family.

The reason was simply that Tatiana said that she wanted to enjoy the feeling of being a queen at her 25th birthday party.

Tears fell on the screen and my heart was broken.

It was not that I felt heartbroken for being deceived for so many years, but that I lost the only thought my mother left me for such a devil who destroyed me.

Amidst blurred tears, my gaze fell on the crescent birthmark on Tatiana's right shoulder, and my eyes widened in surprise.

I had the exact same birthmark on the same spot on my right shoulder.

I remembered when I met her, she did not have the birthmark on her body.

Chapter 4

Since I told her that I had saved a man covered in blood while working as a borderless doctor in Celestia, she had started to distance herself from me.

Not long after, she became Timothee's younger sister, and Timothee once said that Tatiana had saved his life.

Tatiana was afraid of death. She had never been to Celestia, a country often ravaged by wars, and she even despised and belittled it everywhere.

I clenched my fist, and a ridiculous guess gradually appeared in my mind.

I see!

I collapsed on the floor, crying and laughing.

After a long time, I wiped away my tears and tidied up my emotions. I got up and found an unfamiliar phone number.

"I have a big order worth one billion four hundred million dollars. Do you want to take it?"

"What's your order?"

"Kidnap me in three days."

I gently stroked my belly and said, "Timothee will give this ransom willingly."

As soon as the phone hung up, Timothee pushed open the door and came in.

He had drunk a bit of alcohol and staggered a bit, but he held my hand cautiously and asked, "What do I give willingly?"

I did not even blink and replied, "I have my eye on a necklace and the other party said I need to pay a deposit first."

He smiled and hung his head on my shoulder. "Okay, I'll pay, I'll pay for everything, Tatiana. Whatever you want, I'll give it to you, and I'm yours too."

I expressionlessly helped him onto the bed and covered him with a blanket, lying beside him the whole night with my eyes open.

The next day, when we were on our way to try on wedding dresses, Timothee received a phone call and explained to me in a panic. "Honey, a batch of goods is stuck, I have to go over and deal with it now."

He held my hand guiltily and said, "I'm sorry, but I will definitely accompany you to try on wedding dresses tomorrow. I also ordered a pair of wedding rings. Let's go try them on together tomorrow, okay?"

I pulled my hand back and said, "I understand. Don't worry, I will wait for you at home."

He squeezed my hand and left immediately after seeing me get off the car.

After waiting for less than ten minutes, Killian's car arrived.

Just as I got in the car, Tatiana's photo was sent to me.

She was wearing a dazzling diamond ring and the air-shipped wedding dress that I had chosen, kneeling down on the man's lap.

The man's big hand rested on her fair thigh through the gauze, and his lips kissed the crescent birthmark on her right shoulder, with lust in his eyes.

A message followed.

[I can only do this every night after turning off the lights and imagining her as you. Tatiana, my dear Tatiana, I miss you very much, please give me your love.]

The hoarse voice was followed by a suppressed gasp.

Killian's sneer rang out in the silent car.

I was shocked and realized that the way outside the window was not the way home.

"Killian, I'm Timothee's wife! What do you want to do?"

The car suddenly stopped and I immediately reached for the other door, but he moved even faster and reached out his hand, dragging me out of the car by my ankle.

I felt so painful that my eyes went dark.

"I still have Timothee's child in my belly. If anything goes wrong with me, you won't survive." I glared fiercely.

"Idiot, you don't really think he would let a dirty woman like you get pregnant with his child, do you?"

I heard a shrill laugh from behind me and then I realized that this remote alley was not far from the bridal shop.

Tatiana stepped on my face with a cheerful smile.

Killian walked over and hugged her waist, rubbing it vigorously a few times. In front of my shocked eyes, the two of them passionately kissed each other. After a while, Killian slowly spoke, "You heard it at the door that day, but unfortunately, the embryo in your belly is not Tatiana's. II randomly found a wild seed from a poor beggar to replace it."
