Chapter 1

On their third wedding anniversary, Casey Barnes was in a car accident and broke her spine.

Ethan Olson picked her up from the pool of blood and ran to the hospital like crazy, but she still lost a kidney.

In despair, the man knelt down affectionately, “Casey, let me take care of you from now on and be your lifelong support.”

The next day, she unexpectedly overheard the conversation between Ethan and the attending physician.

“Mr. Olson, you deliberately caused a car accident to save Miss Haley. Not only did you cripple your wife, you also took advantage of the opportunity to steal her kidney. She even has to draw blood regularly. How do you expect her to live the rest of her life?”

The man curled his lips and smiled coldly. “Her brother killed my sister, so I will make her suffer so much that she would rather die than live.

“Besides, I promised Lily that I would only love and marry her in this life. As for that bitch Casey, she is only worthy of being her artificial organ bank and blood bank!”

It turned out that the world was hell and what she thought was love was just a long-planned revenge.

In that case, let’s never see each other again in this life.

——

"Mr. Olson, are you certain you want to proceed with this?

“Given your wife's fragile condition of having just undergone kidney removal surgery, her body can hardly endure frequent blood draws.

“She has been your legal wife for three years!"

Ethan ignored the doctor's distress and flipped through Lily's physical examination report.

“Oh, is the daughter of my enemy worthy of being called my wife?

“Ten thousand Casey’s combined are not worth a strand of Lily's hair. As long as she is safe and healthy, it does not matter what price that bitch pays.”

The doctor was furious and took a deep breath.

“If your affair with Miss Haley is exposed, our entire hospital will be in trouble. It is illegal to remove organs without permission!”

Ethan could not help but curl his lips and sneered, “She'll never find out.

“Even if she found out, what would it matter? Anyway, Casey loves me so much that she is willing to die for me.

“Don’t talk too much. I will give you a sum of money after the matter is completed, enough to live comfortably for the rest of your life.”

After saying this, the man walked away, glancing at the unconscious woman on the bed before leaving.

“Do things cleanly and avoid future troubles.”

The footsteps gradually faded away and the pale-faced woman opened her eyes in despair, tears instantly bursting out.

It turned out that the car accident that almost cost her her life was planned by her husband in order to save Lily.

It turned out that her self-righteous love was just a stepping stone that Ethan had long planned to take revenge on her brother.

It turned out that the three years of love and affection had already been secretly priced by the man she entrusted her life to.

In that case, she did not want him anymore.

“Casey, you finally woke up!”

Ethan came in the afternoon. The man knelt beside her bed with heartache, took her hand and kissed it on his lips.

He embodied the image of a devoted husband.

Casey's eyelashes trembled violently and she barely managed to keep her voice as she spoke, “Hubby, thank you for coming to save me in time.”

Ethan smiled gently and handed the tonic medicine in his hand to her, his eyes full of concern.

“Casey, drink the medicine quickly. You are weak and I am afraid you won't be able to stand the blood draw later.”

He smiled and continued to blackmail her, “You know, Lily's condition is getting worse. Do you want to watch her die?”

Casey thought of their conversation just before and the blood in her body ran cold from head to toe.

“I feel unwell, dizzy and want to vomit. I don't want to have blood drawn.”

Ethan's expression changed almost instantly.

Chapter 2

"If you refuse, then our marriage ends.

"I've already had the divorce agreement drafted, you’ll be liable for hundreds of millions in liquidated damages.

"Wifey, I don’t want it to come to this, but Lily can't wait any longer."

Before they got married, they had drawn up an agreement that Ethan would pay for her brother's expensive medical expenses.

As Lily's playmate, her job was to take care of her sick body.

But Casey never expected that such a huge penalty would be waiting for her three years later.

Ethan pinched her chin and poured the liquid into her mouth, not giving her a chance to refuse.

“Please, wifey, you have been a good wife since then, it would be great if you were so obedient earlier!”

The effect of the medicine took effect quickly and Casey only felt a surge of blood in his lower abdomen, followed by a knife-like pain.

The woman wailed in a state of agony, her screams echoing throughout the entire ward.

Ethan hurriedly called the doctor back and gave the order.

“Let's get started. Don't let Lily wait too long.”

Casey only felt that the blood was flowing out faster and faster, he was sweating all over and almost fainted.

Is she going to die?

After the effect of the anesthetic wore off, she heard Ethan let out a long sigh of relief and with a wave of his hand he gave a raise to all the doctors.

The man walked away without ever looking at the woman, who was as shabby as a piece of paper on the operating table.

Casey was completely disheartened and stared at the ceiling with wide eyes.

She wondered why she had not died yet.

The next day, Lily, who Ethan said was about to die, appeared at the door of the ward.

The girl smiled brightly, called her ‘Auntie’ and handed the thermal lunch box to her.

"Auntie, I made this soup for you. Please, have a taste.

"Don't get me wrong, I just want to thank you for donating blood. I have no ill intentions.

"Besides, Uncle told me to take good care of you!"

Lily raised her tone, obviously using Ethan to put pressure on her. Casey took the lunch box, opened it and took a deep breath.

Then, under Lily's gaze, she took a careful sip.

There was a strange smell in the air and tiny hairs floating on the broth. Something was wrong.

A thought suddenly appeared in Casey's mind. So, she asked, “Where's the puppy? Did anyone feed it during the days I was unconscious?”

Lily smiled innocently, pointed at the soup in her hand and tilted her head.

"Eh? Auntie, didn't you taste it? Knowing how much you missed it, I made sure to bring it back right away.

"Auntie, how does the local dog you raised like your own child taste? Are you satisfied with my cooking skills?"

Almost instantly, Casey's eyes went dark, goose bumps appeared all over her body. She turned her head and vomited the acid in his stomach all over the floor.

The furry creature she had raised for three years was skinned, its tendons removed and stewed into soup.

Lily, how dare she?!

Casey's eyes were uncontrollably filled with bloodshot and she could no longer bear it, so she slapped Lily in the face.

“I have a clear conscience and have been so devoted to you over the years. But you won’t even let go of a living life. Why did you do this to me?! "

Lily's face was swollen, the corners of her mouth were raised and her eyes were filled with hatred.

“Why? You were born to be a slut. You seduced my uncle to marry you and even made him fall in love with you.

“How can a person like you who has no parents and a lowly fate have the honorable title of Mrs. Olson?”

She covered her nose in disgust and slowly opened her lips under Casey's numb gaze.

Chapter 3

"Oh, by the way, let me share a little secret with you.

"The ashes you've been praying to so devoutly on the altar for the past three years? They're actually Lilibeth.

"As for your brother's ashes... Uncle fed them to a dog at my suggestion."

Seeing the woman in front of her widen her eyes in shock, Lily laughed triumphantly.

“Auntie, if you taste it carefully, you may still taste your brother in your mouth.”

Casey’s vision blurred as darkness clouded her eyes. She bit down on her lip so hard that the sharp tang of blood spread across her tongue.

She could no longer endure it. Her knees buckled and she collapsed to the ground, sobs wracking her body as tears poured down her face.

It was the final blow, the last straw that shattered her completely.

At night, as soon as she entered the ward, Ethan smashed the phone on her head.

“Casey, are you fucking crazy?” he yelled. “Who gave you the guts to hurt her? I've never said a harsh word to Lily since she was a child.”

The blood from the temple slowly flowed to the face, warm and moist and pain followed.

Casey swallowed the bitterness in his throat, “Ethan, don't you want to ask me the reason?”

“The puppy we picked up together three years ago was killed by Lily and stewed into soup. Is this a good enough reason?”

Ethan's brows relaxed for a moment, then frowned fiercely. He slapped the woman in the face, causing her to fall off the bed.

"Shut up! You're lying again. There's no way Lily would do something like that!

"You must have done something despicable to provoke such a gentle girl. And even if it’s true, it was just a dog. It's better off dead."

Just a dog that was better off dead?

Casey struggled to get up from the ground. At that moment, her heart died and the man in her memory also died.

Someone rushed in from outside the door and reported, “Mr. Olson, it's bad. Miss Haley committed suicide by cutting her wrists in the room. She fainted due to heavy bleeding.”

Ethan reacted and glared at Casey fiercely. "It's all your fault, you bitch! If anything happens to Lily, you're the only one to blame!"

Then, with a terrifying expression, he sneered, "Lack of blood? That’s an easy fix. Make her replenish twice as much as Lily lost."

Casey was tied to the operating table by a group of bodyguards.

Ethan ordered the doctor not to give her the anesthetic injection. He wanted her to experience the same pain that Lily had experienced.

“Draw now! Draw as much blood as Lily needs. Collect the excess blood and use it as an artificial blood bank.

“No need to hold back. This woman's life is worthless anyway. It's time to make her pay the price.”

Halfway through drawing blood, the doctor in a white coat ran out in a panic and told shocking news, “Mr. Olson, we really cannot continue to draw blood. Your wife cannot bear it.

“Also… she’s been pregnant for two months.”

Casey was physically and mentally exhausted throughout her pregnancy.

During the day, she was looked after by a group of caregivers and was given nutrient solution immediately if she went on a hunger strike.

At first she wanted to resist, but Ethan ordered his men to unplug the Internet cable in the villa and confiscate her phone, completely cutting off all contact between her and the outside world.

Casey could not bear it any longer and dragged her tired body to knock on Ethan's door.

“Ethan, let's get a divorce. I will find a way to pay you back the huge penalty later. Let me go, okay?”

No matter how Casey begged, the man remained unmoved. He looked at her as if she were a dead person. The woman was completely driven crazy.

“With your status and position, there are plenty of women out there who are willing to bear your children. Why are you so obsessed with me?!”
