CHAPTER SEVEN.

The cold air teased the hairs on Angela skin as she shut up from the forest ground her eyes roaming the forest, fear gripped her, her lips quivering, it was now dark the moon casting its little light to the sky, its light creating shadows, one that looked horrifying in Angela’s eyes, they trees swayed gently to the rhythm of the breeze, Angela squinted her vision trying to see what lurked behind the trees but she couldn’t and it was useless trying.

The bushes rustled more and a low growl erupts into the night, Angela’s heart leaped into her stomach as she quickly jumped to her feet, sweat dripped down her face, as she looked around for a log to use as a form of defense, finding one she hides it behind her back gulping a large amount of her saliva she stood waiting for whatever that was behind the bushes to show itself.

The bushes rustled more before three rogues came out their red eyes staring at her, saliva dripped from one of the rogue’s mouths as they growled and snarled at her taking slow steps towards her.

Angela gets into defend mode raising her piece of log up ready to strike, the first wolf attacks her aiming for her side, she swings her log and hits it square in the jaw, a painful crack cuts through the air making her cringe slightly, she doesn’t see the attacking rogue on time before it bites her at her side.

Angela screams loudly, tears streaming down her face as she applies pressure to her wound, the log falls off from her hands as she tries to stop the bleeding, the rogues surround her with a wolfish grin on their faces.

They snarled at her attacking, she shuts her eyes ready for the impact, she didn’t think she would be saved from them, her heart hurt as she thought she would never meet her mate since she was going to die in the hands of these filthy wolves

They take gradual steps closer to her as she shifts backward , her gaze fixed on them .

The rogues take another step closer , holding a small woody substance , she hit the first rogue immediately as the rogues was about to attacked her

The rogue fell to the floor weakly the two other rogues looked at her and then backed at their partner angry with her for hitting their partner so roughly they attacked her immediately , not giving her a chance to defend herself

She lost her balance and fell to the ground given the other rogue a chance to attacked her more

Different clouded her mind as she try to fought weakly , she wished someone was here to rescue her , she wished she never went deeper into the forest and she wished she never went in search of her mate , here she was about to die without evening knowing who her mate was and he may looked like

One of the rogue akes opportunity of her weakness piercing deep into the chunks of her skin , she yelled in pain making her fall more feeling to the ground , her boy hurts and she become so weak , a tears escape from her eyes as she watches the rogue

The three rogue surround her and they were ready to attacked her more without no mercy , looking at how weak she is right now one of the rogue bounced on her one more time as she scream so loud

Her voiced attracted Leo to the scene , he rushed toward the direction of the voice only to see a she wolf surrounded by three powerful rogue

He. Was angry and surprised at how mercilessly they beat and attacked her and the injuries they inflicted on her

Attacking he changed into his wolf form attacking the rogue

Angela watched the handsome stranger fighting with the. Three rogue and how he was able to defeat them within a short period of time, the rogue run away after receiving more beating from Leo

He turned to look at her , his gazed fixed at him and he couldn't control himself and also stopped himself from starting at this beautiful damsel

"Are you okay "he inquire , shaking her out to see if she is okay , he saw the blood and there he was angry and hurt

He stares at her injuries with a soft spot in his heart he was ready to make her pain go away

Angela looked at him strangely and wonder why he was this nice and caring towards her

Stretching his hands toward her , she took his hands as he helped her stand on her feet

"guess I was a bit late to the rescue team "he commented taking her hands into his he felt a spark the one he never felt before and immediately undeniable desires build up in him , t one he never felt before , the one he could not understand build up in him

He tried to control himself as he remain calm as ever , slowly he stretches his hand to her injuries and he try to treat her injuries

She felt some pain immediately when he touched her injuries and that brought more pain to him .

He looked at her face to see she was hurt. She is passing through a lot .

Slowly she withdraw her hands from him and then turned to walk away without even saying thank you

"at least let me help a little "he intercede walking to her , he carry her in a bridal style and takes her to the lake closer to them in other to get her clean , she stares at him as he carry her , both looked at each other with their body responding to the looked

He dropped her slowly at the lake and then manage to clean her injuries even though she resist and draw far away from him

"I guess you are good to go ."he looked up at her , he stands to leaved as she also stand to follow him but surprisingly she fall to the ground weakly

Low rushed to her holding her and lighting her up in a bridal style.

Chapter 8

Leo rushed to her holding her and lifting her up in a bridal style,off he went running deeper to the pack , with fears in his eyes he wishes nothing happened to her and he wished she was safe some how he regret coming a bit late

Slowly and steady he arrived at the hospital pack calling out to the doctor for quick attention

"doctor ......doctor please,"He rushed down into the hospital , he could not to control his feelings .

The doctor walked to him hurriedly,not wasting anytime he gently took her from him , and the rushed to the hospital bed where she was quickly place her on the hospital bed and treatment commence immediately

After few minutes the doctor walked out of the hospital room

Leo ran to him immediately

"How is she doctor?"He panicked while eating for the reply, he prayed nothing serious happens to her

"she is out Danger now , but what really happened to her "the doctor inquire , surprised at how she got injure .

"she was attacked by rogue "he explained , relieved that she was okay now and she is out of danger

"oh it must have been really hard on her , thank the moon goddess she is out of danger she will be okay in due time , you have a sit while waiting for her to wake up"the doctor voiced out walking back to his office .

"sure , thank you very much doctor , I do appreciate what you have done , but can I go in. To see her right now "he mentioned starting at he doctor for approval , he wished he would say yes and he will be very happy to go not wanting a no as an answer from the doctor.

"sure you can "he achieved a sigh of relieved immediately he was told by the doctor to go in

"thank you doctor ''_He smiled at the doctor as he rushed I to the ward happily , gazing at the beautiful damsel in front of him

Slowly she opened her eyes to see where she was , and she was shocked to see her self in a strange bed with low eyes gazing deeply at her

"what the fucked, what am I doing here and how did i get here"she hurried to stand up , but he beckoned on her to sit back

"not yet , do have a little rest "He said, holding her downed unwilling

"I think I am fine and strong enough "she stares at the man infront of her. Her eyes gaze at him a, he wonder why he is weird and the character he show made her more uncomfortable

Stating deeply into his eyes , he found her self drawn to him already and she wonder why she was drawn to him and why she suddenly feel so much desired and the need to be with him

"you sure you are fine"he asked repeatedly hoping she was actually do andstrong enough to stand on her own

"sure I am , but what happened to me , how did I ended up here "she inquired staring at him with feeling of desires running down her spine

"oh that , you were beaten by some rogue thank the moon Goddess I came early to the scene and thank God there was not enough injuries "he smiled at her broadly , though she find his behaviour stranger , she can't stop stating at him

"I need to go home "she try to stand up by herself , she end up falling backed to the bed

Leo rushed to her immediately assisting her to sit backed at the bed .The doctor walked in, he watched them and how calmed the we're as they both were lost stating at each other , both burn with desire that can't be explained

"hmmm , guess I need to comeback later ''The doctor turned trying to walked away , the both came back to their sense

"no sir , please kindly find your way to her , I think she is not yet strong "Leo said starting at her , she stare at him

"Doctor , do you mind if I go home now, like right now "she asked , still looking her saviour

"not at all , provided you are fine it ii a okay by me''The doctor assured , he take a proper checked of her for the last time before finally given her the go ahead approval

"thank you doctor "muttered dragging her ass from the bed she slowly stand to walk bit not without Leo assistance

"is okay I can walked on my own''She added marvel at how , Leo take turn in making sure she was comfortable and she doesn't have to hurt self

With the way he behaved toward her , she wonder if he was this nice or he was just helping him out cause she was hurt and she can't seems to do thing on her own

With the help of Leo she walked slowly and steadfastly out of the hospital ward still holding unto him for support

"thank you , please id you don't mind may I take my root home now"she demanded , taking a few steps backward without relying on him for support anymore

"oh sure , but I don't think you can go alone , mind if I take you home" he babbled while waiting for positive answer from her

Angela take a deep looked at him and the genuine care he showed made her vulnerable and once again she fall victim to his charmed

"sure you can "she announced , her words were like beautiful melodies which linked deep into his bone, a senior escape his lip , he felt happy for the fact that she said yes , he was actually expecting no to be her reply though it will hurt him but he was ready of do anything that makes her happy and anything that put smile on. her face make him happy

Angela looked at him to see he was smiling widely to him self

The drive to Angela home was boredom since they both sat quieted in the car with each in their own thought .

Only the sound of the engine, which moved very slowed in the high way can be heard.

The winds blew and the bird sang in rhyme , as the car raised to the tone of the bird whispered.

Angela turned to stole a glassed at the handsome dude in fronted of her .Her mind drifted backed to all the bad things he had done to her .

With just one last glared at him , she sighed in relieved, as she released a deep breath , the one she never realized she hold for a very longed time the car stopped at her gate .

"here we are"Leo miller announced with just a glassed at her , he caught her dead on track as she stared at him , lost in his beautiful pair of eyes. She could not stopped her self .

She is filled with desired and the way her body reacted to him is what she can't seemed to understood

She wondered why she always felt this way with the same man who made her life miserable, right from day one .

"mum"she called and searched around when she noticed the house was quoted and there is not traced of her mum in the house.

She walked to the kitchen to checked if her mum was there but she was not, a worried looked shown on her face as her mum never left the house without given her any form of sign , she usually drooped a note on the table any time she went out

Where could her mum , different varieties of thought ran through her mind and she could not placed her head at a particular thought at the moment

She take a stepped upward and off she went to her room

She sloped to the bed , exhausted and tired and she sighed very deeply as her mind drifted to the event that took place few minutes ago .

Could she be In love with him or her body just wanted him badly , she thought as she wondered why she craved for his touched and why she always wanted a kissed from him , the lasted time she checked they were supposed to be an enemy to some one who had soft spotted for each other .

Different thought clouded her mind as she drifted to sleep

Angela mum walked to her room only to find her asleep in a positioned which seems weird

"hey,sleep head , get up "uttered as she tapped on her .

"mum...."she yawned and the opened her eyes to see her mother with a smiled in her face.

With the way looked and the happiness in her face one could think she won a lottery but far from that she was just happy that her daughter will sent on a journey to sound her mate

She always prayed to the moon goddess to given her daughter a good mate who , his major priority is to take very good cared of her daughter

" mum"she called out to her mother as she wondered why she is this happy .

"go get ready for the mate bond ceremony "she declared as she turned to walked out of the room

"oh it totally skipped my mind, I need to looked my best for my mate today"she stood up . Happy at the fact that she can finally get to see her mate

"yes sea, I got you new clothes for the mate bond ceremony , do try them out and make sure you looked your best to the party "stated as she turned to looked at her beautiful daughter , she smile as she watched her jumped off the bed with joy written all over her face.

"you're welcomed "she walked out of the room as she left her to get dressed and prepared for the mate bond ceremony .

Different she wolf came together with each are very happy , the placed is full with happy faces and it was well decorated ,the male wolf all came together as they looked their best .

Each with their nice outfit ,the female wolf are not left out for the party also .

Angela and her friends were at their own different direction , they gist and talked as they laugh to nothing in particular .Leo watched from affaire to see how happy she was .Her beautiful smile left her with so much desired , he wonder why he always got goosebumps each time , he saw her very happy .

Somehow he felt drawn to her but he was not ready to accept the fact that. Edge had a big effect on him .

He is not ready to admitted to the fact that he liked her so much , he hated her and he will sticked up to the hated he had for her , he tried to convinced himself as he raised from his sit , he take a stepped closed to her .

Angela stopped on her tracked the moment she saw him take a step closed to her

Her beat seized immediately as she was lost in his gazed , she was scared that she might try to hurt her .She is not ready for his drama today as today is a very good day for her , she is not ready to ruined her chased do to see her mate today

She looked at her friends to see that they were so enclosed in their discussion , thank God none of them noticed what was happening to her at the moment .

With one last glared , she stepped backed and she make a U turned and the walked away before Leo could get any closed to her .She was ready to avoid any drama that will be caused by him today .

Leo noticed how fasted she walked away and he decided to ran after her without her knowledge .

She walked to the school library , where no one will be seen today , since today is their mate bond ceremony no ones allowed into the library .

She take a deep breathed as a little smile escape her lip , s was happy that she was able to escaped from him , happy that he can't find her , since he later library .she looked around to see he was no where to be found in the library ,she take a sit and then sigh

"guessed today is not for the library"Leo Bursted out ,she turned to looked at him in shocked .

"what the fucked'are yoh doing here"she questioned with anger which boiled up in her ,for a moment she wished she could just ran very far away from him .

"i bet you missed me "he smile and then walked closed to her ,she stood to her feet as she draw backward .

He stepped closed to her each to she stepped backward ,not until she stopped since she meet her end at the wall of the library

"looked,not today i am not ready for any drama "She snapped at him ,as she wished he would just let her go .

"too bad you cant escaped from me ,i don't care if today is the mate bond ceremony we had a deal ,and you must do it"he added as he looked at her to see how frightened she was just by her gazed.

"i don't cared about any deal,lasted time i checked i was a free girl"she fired at him
