Chapter 1
I was pregnant.
My husband, Yahir Coe, who worked in the factory screwing screws like me, unexpectedly brought me to a big villa.
He told me that I didn't have to work anymore.
I thought he was a rich second generation who deliberately concealed his identity in novels.
But when I saw his secret, I realized that I had been deceived into a hell.

"Jolie, this is the nanny I hired for you."
Before the surprise on my face dissipated, I noticed a woman in her fifties standing at the living room's threshold, her face round and plump, her physique sturdy and substantial.
"Carissa will take care of your daily life in the villa from now on."
Yahir Coe showed the test report confirmed at the hospital today to Carissa Farnham, and patted my belly.
It could be seen that he liked my child very much.
But Carissa took a look and expressionlessly put away the pregnancy test.
"Hubby, you are so good to me."
I didn't care about Carissa's reactions and leaned on Yahir's shoulder emotionally.
The next second, Carissa cleared her throat.
Yahir pushed me away as if he had heard something terrifying.
I fell on the sofa unprepared, looking at him in surprise.
Carissa came over and helped me sit on the sofa.
She blamed Yahir, saying, "Women are prone to miscarriage in the first three months of pregnancy. If you want this child to be born smoothly, don't beat her."
"Yes, I was wrong," Yahir didn't apologize to me.
He behaved like a criticized junior employee, nodding and bowing to the nanny.
I couldn't figure out his behavior.
Chapter 2
Carissa made potato cream soup at noon.
I didn't taste a single bite.
As I was about to leave, Carissa filled a big bowl of soup and pushed it in front of me, and said, "Drink it up."
I was disgusted by her commanding tone, "I am the employer, how can you control me?"
Carissa's face stiffened, her facial muscles tightened, which was a bit intimidating.
Yahir, who was silently eating beside me, quickly stood up and stopped me, "Jolie, drink the soup; it's good for the child."
"But you know I don't like to eat potatoes."
I was picky; Yahir not only knew but also indulged me.
But today, he looked at Carissa with a negotiating look.
"Why are you looking at me? If she doesn't drink, can't you find a solution?" Carissa's plump palm slapped heavily on the dining table.
Yahir nodded quickly as if he had been frightened.
He was very chauvinistic when we were dating.
But in front of Carissa, he was timid.
I angrily said, "Are you so afraid of her? Is she your mother?"
Yahir immediately frowned, "You are too delicate. The child is important; drink it."
I wouldn't drink.
Yahir usually spoiled me.
As long as I refused, he would not persist.
I turned around to leave from the other side.
"Waste, can't even handle a woman," Carissa grabbed my hand and pulled me back into the chair.
"What do you want to do?" I was struggling.
Yahir hurried came to me.
I thought he was here to pull Carissa away.
But he held my hands tightly and let Carissa pour the soup into my mouth.
I was stubborn and refused to drink, so the soup spilled all over me.
Carissa dropped the bowl and gritted her teeth at me, saying, "For the next eight months, you better not make me angry."
Covered in soup, I looked at Yahir as if he were a stranger.
Why did he favor that old woman?
Yahir looked at Carissa, who had already gone to the kitchen, and then gently persuaded me with a warm face, "Carissa just has a bad temper, but she knows how to take care of pregnant women. For the sake of us having a healthy baby, listen to her, and I will accompany you, okay?"
"I don't like her. Let's change the nanny."
Like listening to shocking and vulgar words, Yahir hurriedly said, "Take good care of yourself and don't think too much."
The doubts in my heart grew stronger.
At night, Yahir went to bed with me early.
Apart from those two things, he treated me extremely well.
In the middle of the night, a nightmare woke me up.
Yahir didn't lay beside me.
I sat up in shock, put on a coat, and went out based on my intuition.
Chapter 3
I was unfamiliar with the place on the first day of moving into the villa.
Until I heard an embarrassing sound at the door of a bedroom, I felt a chill all over my body.
Yahir's voice was not unfamiliar to me.
But that woman...
"Mine is good, or hers?"
Confirming that it was Carissa, my mind buzzed.
"Yours is good; yours is comfortable."
Shameless!
"Yahir, come out," I banged on the door, disturbing the two inside.
Yahir tried to get up, but Carissa held him back, "Forget her? Let's finish first."
"Is there anyone in the world so shameless?" I thought.
I picked up the plant rack in the corridor and knocked on the door.
The two people inside paused, and Carissa appeared at the door, her face flushed and round.
She remained naked in the intimate moment with Yahir, showing no signs of discomfort from being fully seen.
The accumulated fat all over her body made me feel sick.
"What the hell are you knocking on the door in the middle of the night? Go back to your room."
"You shameless woman, seducing my husband!" I had a marriage certificate with Yahir and was confident.
"You think you're someone, you piece of junk?" Carissa's intimate moment was disrupted, fueling her anger even further. Without hesitation, she raised her hand and slapped me across the face.
I was stunned by this slap.
She still wanted to hit me. Yahir rushed out with a towel wrapped around him and grabbed her hand.
His face had a subservient look that I had never seen before.
"Don't do this. She's just a tool for reproduction. If she gets hurt, it will affect the child."
My world went blank. "I am his wife. How did I become a tool for reproduction?"
Carissa was still very angry, "I didn't want to pretend in the first place. Since she knew our relationship, let her see the truth. Lock her up first, and we'll talk when I feel comfortable."
"Hubby, how could you betray me?" I burst into tears.
Yahir coaxed and dragged me back to the room, "Jolie, calm down and take a rest. We'll talk later."
How could I stay calm at a time like this?
I clung to him tightly, refusing to let him return to that elderly woman.
Yahir hesitated to speak, but just then, Carissa's fierce and impatient voice rang out from outside, "Yahir, if you're not afraid of the consequences, stay here with her!"
Yahir trembled, and his expression became indifferent and ruthless.
"Be careful of the child in your belly. If anything happens to him, you'll be dead right now."
He shook off my hands and locked the door when he went out.
I sat on the bed, feeling sad and helpless.
