Chapter 1

I was fated to Alpha Kael, leader of the Blood Moon Howl Pack, and carrying his pup.

Yet, he despises me because I am a cursed omega who has no wolf spirit.

“I can’t believe I’m tied to someone like you!”

Every day, he abuses me, humiliates me, and does things behind my back. Yet, I endured it all because I love him.

But my hopes shattered the day I caught him with another woman in our bed, having sex despite knowing I’m pregnant with his pup.

Heartbroken and desperate, I fled into the forest, only to be attacked by a rogue wolf.

Just when I thought it was the end, Alpha Kieran, the dreadful and enigmatic Alpha King, saved me.

“You’re mine now,” he declared.

But Kieran’s protection comes at a cost. Behind his commanding presence lies a man cloaked in mystery and danger.

“I’m keeping you as my pet,” he said.

As the bond between us deepens, I begin to question whether I’ve traded one tormentor for another.

Now Kael wants me back, his fury as grim as his desire to reclaim me.

“You belong to me, Lily!” Kael growls.

But what they don’t know is that I’m no longer the weak, voiceless omega they once knew.

Trapped between two powerful alphas, secrets of the past and the truth about my bloodline threaten to unravel everything.

Can I survive the war brewing between them? Or will I lose myself trying to find the freedom I so desperately crave?

Lilith’s POV

“I can’t believe I’m tied to someone like you! Don’t fucking ask me stupid questions! I can do whatever I want!”

Alpha Kael’s voice roared through the room, sharp and furious, as if each word was meant to cut through my very soul.

Before I could respond, he shoved me with such force that I stumbled back, barely catching myself before hitting the floor.

Tears welled up in my eyes and began streaming uncontrollably down my cheeks.

My body trembled, both from the force of his push and the overwhelming ache in my heart. I looked at him, my voice shaking as I pleaded, “Please... Just tell me the truth! Are you... Are you seeing Kathryn again behind my back, Kael?”

He scoffed, his lips curling into a sneer. “That’s none of your goddamn business!” he barked, his voice laced with venom. The intensity of his glare made me flinch.

“You should just mind your own pathetic life,” he continued, the words like knife. “Go clean the house or something. I have better things to do at the pack house than waste my time with you.”

Each word felt like a slap, the harshness of his tone making my stomach churn.

Then, as if he wasn’t satisfied with the hurt he’d already inflicted, he spat, “You’re nothing but an omega. A lowly, useless omega. It’s a disgrace that the Moon Goddess tied me to you. This shouldn’t have happened!”

The pain in my chest was unbearable. My hands instinctively reached out to stop him as he turned to leave. “Kael, please...” I whispered, desperation lacing my voice.

But he didn’t stop.

Instead, he spun around and shoved me again, harder this time. I staggered backward, nearly falling. His cold eyes bore into mine as he snarled, “Stay the fuck here! If you so much as step out of this house, I swear I’ll fucking kill you.”

“Kael!” I screamed after him, my voice breaking, but it didn’t matter.

He stormed out, slamming the door behind him with a deafening bang. The sound echoed in the empty room, followed by the ominous click of the lock. He had locked me inside, cutting me off from the outside world.

I ran to the door, banging on it with all my strength. “Kael! Open the door! Please!” My fists pounded against the wood, but the only response was the silence that followed.

Eventually, my strength gave out, and I slid down to the cold floor. My sobs wracked my body as I clutched my knees to my chest.

I’m an omega. A cursed omega... with no spirit wolf.

The truth was brutal. Unlike others in the pack, I couldn’t shift. The very essence of being a werewolf was denied to me. From the moment I was born, people whispered behind my back, calling me cursed.

I thought back to the fateful day of the ceremony. No one, not even me, expected my name to be announced as Alpha Kael’s mate. When it happened, the crowd erupted in disbelief.

Kael’s reaction, though, was the hardest to forget.

He looked horrified, as if the very idea of being tied to me was offensive. His eyes, filled with disgust, had locked onto mine, and in that moment, I knew he would never accept me.

Since that day, he had made it his mission to show me how much he despised me.

His parents had tried to step in, insisting that he honor the Moon Goddess’s decision. Rejecting me would bring shame to the Blood Moon Howl Pack, something they couldn’t allow. But Kael? He rebelled against their wishes.

“I hate her!” he had shouted during one of their arguments. “If it weren’t for you two forcing me, I’d have killed her already!”

His words echoed in my mind as I sat on the floor. They hurt just as much now as they did then.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my lower abdomen, snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Ahh!”

I gasped, clutching my stomach as the pain grew unbearable. My breathing quickened, panic setting in. When I looked down, my eyes widened in horror.

Blood.

The crimson stain on my thighs was spreading quickly, seeping through my clothes. My hands trembled as I tried to make sense of what was happening.

“No,” I whispered, tears mixing with my sweat. “No, no, no. This can’t be happening.”

I tried to call out for help, my voice weak and trembling. “H-help...” But deep down, I knew no one would hear me.

The world around me began to spin, my vision blurring as the pain consumed me. My strength faded rapidly, leaving me helpless on the cold floor.

And then, just as the darkness closed in, my body gave out entirely.

Everything went black.

Chapter 2

Lilith’s POV

I woke up to a silence. My head felt heavy, pounding with a dull ache.

For a moment, I couldn’t even recognize where I was. The unfamiliar surroundings, the sterile smell of herbs, and the soft crackle of a fire nearby did nothing.

"You’re finally awake."

Startled, I turned toward the voice, my body tensing. Standing beside me was Alicia, the lead healer of our pack.

"W-Why am I here?" I asked, my voice trembling.

Alicia’s eyes softened with concern. She hesitated, as if carefully choosing her words. "A servant brought you here," she began gently. "And… you’re pregnant."

Her words hung in the air like a heavy weight, crashing into me with full force.

My eyes widened in disbelief. "What? How… how could that happen?" My voice was barely above a whisper, the question directed more at myself than at her.

I felt my chest tighten, my heartbeat quickening as the reality of her statement began to sink in.

Pregnant.

The word echoed in my mind, twisting and turning, refusing to settle.

I knew how it happened. Of course, I did.

Kael and I… we’d been intimate often. But it was never out of love or desire. No, Kael didn’t see me that way.

Ever since I become his mate, I felt like nothing more than a tool.

“To make yourself useful, I’ll make you my breeder.”

He never treated me like a partner. There was no tenderness, no affection—only coldness and cruelty.

When he was stressed or angry, he’d take it out on me in the most brutal ways.

He’d shove me onto the bed, his grip unyielding as he pinned me down.

"Stop resisting, Lily!" he’d shout, his voice harsh and filled with disdain.

"I don’t care about you! I’m just using you!"

Those words, sharp and venomous, replayed in my mind. Even in his absence, they lingered, echoing in the silence. Night after night, I endured his aggression, his frustration, his need to release whatever anger he carried.

And me? I was naïve. Foolish. Despite the pain and humiliation, I loved him. I clung to the hope that somewhere deep inside, he cared for me too. That maybe, one day, he’d change. So, I let him do as he pleased. I told myself it was okay, even when it wasn’t.

But I never expected this. I never thought I’d end up pregnant.

"Does Kael know?" I asked Alicia, dread creeping into my voice as I fought to steady my breathing.

She nodded slowly. "Yes, the Alpha knows."

"Where is he?"

Alicia’s face fell, and she hesitated again before answering. "He left you here. And… he hasn’t come back since."

Her words hit me like a punch to the gut. The air seemed to leave the room, and my chest tightened with an overwhelming sense of abandonment. He knew, and yet, he wasn’t here.

I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stood up abruptly.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Alicia’s voice was full of worry. "You need to rest, Lily. Your body is still recovering, and your pregnancy is still fragile. You could harm yourself or the baby!"

"I’m fine," I said firmly, brushing past her. My tone left no room for argument, but inside, I was falling apart. "I need to find him."

I barely heard her calling after me as I stumbled out of the healer’s quarters. The cool air outside hit my face, but it did nothing to ease the chaos within me.

I spotted Lucius, our Beta.

"Lucius!" I called out, quickening my pace toward him. "Have you seen Kael?"

He turned to me, his expression a mix of surprise and hesitation. "Yeah… he’s at your house."

I didn’t wait for further explanation. Without another word, I ran, my heart pounding louder with each step. By the time I reached the house, my hands were trembling. I pushed the door open, my voice breaking as I called out.

"Kael? Are you here?"

At first, there was only silence. But then, faint sounds reached my ears.

Low moans and gasps, unmistakable and chilling. My breath hitched.

"Ah, Kael… fuck! Alpha… oohh…!"

I froze, my blood running cold.

Chapter 3

Lilith’s POV

My stomach churned, and my legs felt like they might give out beneath me. But I forced myself to move, following the sounds.

Each step brought me closer to the bedroom…

Our bedroom.

The door was slightly ajar, and as I peered inside, my worst fears were confirmed.

Kael was there… fucking Kathryn.

“K-Kael, what is this?!”

I threw the door open, and there he was.

He was naked, his manhood was inside the most beautiful and envied woman in our village, Kathryn.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Kael roared, his voice filled with anger.

"Who told you to interrupt us?!" His piercing glare made me feel as though I was the one in the wrong.

Kathryn, ever the dramatic one, let out a sharp gasp.

"Oh my god, what is she doing here?!" she sneered, her tone dripping with rudeness.

I instinctively clutched my stomach, taking a step back, trying to hold myself together.

"Kael… w-why are you doing this?"

He stood up, unbothered by his nakedness, and marched toward me. His eyes were wild, filled with rage and disgust. Without warning, he grabbed me by the throat, squeezing hard.

"You have no right to question me!" he spat. "What you’re seeing is my life—this is what I do! You don’t get to interfere with my choices!"

"Kael, please!" I choked, tears streaming down my face. "You’re hurting me. Let me go!"

But instead of releasing me, he shoved me with such force that I fell to the floor. Pain shot through my body as my face hit the cold, hard ground. My head throbbed, but worse than the physical pain was the humiliation.

As I lay there, trembling, Kathryn crouched beside me, her smile wicked. She grabbed my chin roughly, forcing me to look at her.

"Just because you're the fated mate of the Alpha doesn’t mean you can dictate his life," she sneered, her voice venomous. "Remember, you’re just an Omega. You don’t even have a wolf spirit, so stop acting like you’re anything special!"

With a cruel laugh, she released me and stood, brushing off her hands as if touching me had rotten her.

“Kael, p-please!” I called out, my voice breaking. “I’m pregnant, and you’re the father!”

He stopped for a moment, glancing back at me with cold, empty eyes.

"I know," he said flatly. There was no warmth, no concern in his tone.

He turned to Kathryn and said, "Let’s continue where we left off."

And just like that, the door closed, leaving me behind—broken and hopeless.

I cried as I listened to them continue their sex, lying there and hearing every sound.

---

The next day, I woke up on the cold, hard ground. The door was slightly ajar, recalling what happened.

A sudden wave of panic washed over me as I remembered my pregnancy.

Slowly, I pushed myself to my feet, ignoring the dull ache in my body, and set out to find Kael.

I found him sitting at a table, casually reading something, as if nothing had happened. Summoning my courage, I approached him hesitantly.

“Kael,” I began softly, my voice trembling, “you know I’m pregnant. Can you please help me go for a check-up? I think—”

“Go on your own!” he snapped, his voice as cold and sharp as a blade.

The harshness in his tone cut through me like a dagger, leaving me speechless and rooted to the spot.

Before I could even respond, he shoved me forcefully, nearly knocking me off my feet.

At that moment, something inside me snapped.

I had endured enough. The pain, the betrayal, the humiliation—I couldn’t take it anymore.

That night, as darkness covered the village, I lay awake in our cold, empty home.

Kael was gone, as usual. I knew exactly where he was—in Kathryn’s territory.

I couldn’t keep living like this. I deserved better, and so did my unborn pup.

So, I made a decision. That night, I packed what little I could carry and slipped out into the cool night air.

My heart pounded as I navigated the village, careful not to draw attention.

Once I reached the edge of the woods, I didn’t look back.

The forest was eerily quiet, the only sounds coming from the rustling leaves and my hurried footsteps.

Shadows danced in the moonlight, and every crack of a twig sent shivers down my spine. I didn’t have a plan—I only knew I needed to get as far away as possible.

As I went deeper into the woods, a chilling growl echoed through the trees.

My breath hitched, and I froze, my eyes darting around in panic. Then, out of the shadows, a massive werewolf emerged.

Its eyes glowed menacingly, and its sharp teeth glistened in the moonlight.

It’s a rogue wolf…

“No… please…” I begged, backing away. But the creature didn’t stop. It lunged at me, its claws were extended.

I screamed, instinctively shielding my stomach.

The pain was immediate as its claws tore into my side, knocking me to the ground. Blood seeped into the dirt beneath me, and I struggled to stay conscious.

Just when I thought it was the end, a deafening roar cut through the night.

The rogue wolf stopped, its attention drawn to something behind me. Then, with incredible speed, the rogue wolf was thrown aside and died from the impact.

I wanted to see what was going to happen, but my vision blurred.

Before I give in to the darkness, I felt strong arms scoop me up.

My head swing against a broad chest.

Then, he spoke.

“You’re mine now.”

Destined to the Rogue Alpha King
