Chapter 1

My husband, Tom, met a gorgeous girl on the train.

The two hit it off immediately and talked all night in the soft sleeper compartment.

Three months later, my five-month-old son, Nick, and I were diagnosed with HIV, and I was devastated.

Tom accused me of cheating and making Nick sick.

My mother-in-law, Juliet Lane, called me shameless and said that I should go to hell immediately.

They framed me and forced me to get a divorce.

Nick couldn't stand the pain and passed away first.

I went crazy and jumped down from the eighteen story building!

"Honey, there's no signal on the train. Let's talk when I get home."

I got a message that left me confused.

I didn't feel severe pain, and my body didn't fall apart.

The crying of Nick beside me reminded me that I was reborn and back to three months ago.

Looking at Nick, who was alive, I cried.

I hugged my two-month-old son tightly, and the joy in my heart was beyond words.

There was still time for everything!

I was not sick yet!

With the warm embrace, Nick stopped crying and slowly fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, the room was tranquil.

Snowflakes were falling outside, and the scenery was beautiful. I thought Tom must be being affectionate with that girl at this moment.

He didn't know that the girl had HIV. In my previous life, I only found out about it three months later when I saw a close photo of the two of them.

I was a doctor at the hospital in this city. The girl was once my patient, and I saved her.

After seeing her photo, my first reaction was to take Nick to have a blood test.

When I saw the test results, I was devastated.

Before I could recover from my grief and anger, Tom took the initiative and put all the blame on me.

"Bitch, you cheated on me and implicated Nick. Divorce me, take your sick son with you, and leave the house with nothing."

At that time, he was fascinated with the girl and hoped that I would make a mistake and give up my place to the girl. He hadn't thought that the actual pathogen was the girl, and he didn't even think about whether he needed to be checked.

HIV was scary, but if he took the blocking drugs correctly within 24 hours, the success rate could reach 100%.

Now, he had a chance for me to save him.

But he was heartless. The pain of the past was still fresh in my mind, and I couldn't save him.

In this life, he should just be left alone to deal with HIV.

As for me, I took Nick and stayed as far away from him as possible.

Five o'clock in the morning.

I had just fallen asleep after taking care of Nick all night when I heard someone pushing the door.

I turned on the light and saw Juliet's sarcastic face.

Although she was mean, she was still beautiful. At forty-six, she looked young.

But I had to bear all the hard work in the family. For three years, I took care of her like a maid, doing everything I could.

She told me to do things.

She was here again now.

She put her hands on her hips, pointed at me, and said, "Katie, Tom will be back soon. Why don't you go make breakfast but sleep in?"

Tom got off the train at nine in the morning, so it would take him at least ten to get home. But she wanted me to get up and cook now.

In the past, I loved Tom and felt that it was not easy for Juliet to raise him alone, so I turned a blind eye to her unreasonable behavior and endured it as much as I could.

Now, I didn't love him, and I wouldn't stand his mother anymore.

He should be filial to his mother himself.

Juliet saw me stand up, and a smug smile appeared on her face. She always controlled me and thought I would obey her orders as usual.

But she was wrong.

I picked up the diaper that Nick had changed last night and stuffed it into her mouth.

The baby ate frequently and pooped quickly, so his diaper was stained with a lot of shit.

Juliet was caught off guard by my sudden action. As she wiped, the shit on her face grew.

She didn't expect me to dare to resist her. She was so angry that she shouted, "Are you crazy? How dare you do this!"

"I didn't hurt you. It was you who said that shit is very nutritious. I thought I would take advantage of it and give you a good nourishment."

I always remembered that right after I gave birth to Nick, Juliet put shit in my soup as the first meal after confinement.

Now, I gave it back to her.

Juliet was so angry that her chest was heaving, and she couldn't utter a word for a long time.

I lay back on the bed and continued. "You should take care of your son. If you are worried that he is hungry, can't you cook for him as his mother? I'll cook for him when you're paralyzed!"

She lost her temper and growled, "Katie, you are disobedient and unfilial. When Tom comes back, I will make you divorce."

She thought that if she talked about divorce, I would compromise and admit my mistakes.

But I deliberately provoked her just to get a divorce.

I turned over and said disdainfully, "Whatever."

My disdainful attitude made Juliet even more angry, and she wanted to beat me up.

I knew her character, so I took out the fruit knife that I had prepared.

Seeing me fiddling with the fruit knife, she didn't dare say anything. She glared at me for a few seconds and finally walked out of the room angrily.

Sure enough, people had to be tougher. Otherwise, they would be bullied.

Listening to the footsteps gradually fading away, I sneered, "Juliet, I hope you can succeed in getting Tom to divorce. I am happy for that."

Chapter 2

When I woke up again, the sunlight was shining through the gaps on my face. I stretched and sat up in bed.

Just as I was about to order takeout, Tom hurried over with an angry look on his face.

Juliet followed him. Her eyes swollen from crying.

I laughed. She was in her forties, but she was acting like a teenager, acting coquettishly and complaining.

Tom snatched my phone away and growled, "Katie, I'm away on a business trip for a few days, and you treat my mother like this?"

Nick was so scared by his yelling that he started crying.

I hurriedly coaxed Nick until he stopped crying, then I looked up and glared at Tom, "Your mother said that shit is a tonic, giving it to her is for her health. She should cherish it."

This was what Juliet once said, and I was now repeating it to them.

But this time Tom got angry. He kicked the table over and yelled, "Katie, you are deliberately going against my mother!"

It was not fair. Her mother said this for my good, but when I said this, it was considered as going against her.

Before I could refute him, Juliet started to act like a good person.

She wiped the tears from her face and said, "Tom, I'm fine. I just took some shit. Don't fight over me, and don't divorce me because of me."

In front of Tom, Juliet always appeared weak.

I was an open and honest person, so I had to suffer losses in front of Juliet, who was good at acting.

Initially, Tom would not have thought of divorce, but when Juliet mentioned this, he was a little dizzy for a moment.

Seeing Juliet being so humble and submissive, Tom felt hurt.

He pointed at me and gnashed his teeth and said, "Katie, apologize to my mother to admit your mistake, otherwise we will get divorced."

I glanced at Juliet out of the corner of my eye. She was smiling, and her eyes were full of gloating.

I snorted in my heart, "You want me to apologize to that old bitch? No way."

"Divorce if you want," I said firmly. If I hesitated, it would be disrespectful to myself.

After hearing what I said, he was shocked. He never thought that I would choose to divorce.

In his impression, I was someone who loved him so much that I could not help myself and could tolerate everything he and his family did.

I didn't hesitate, but he did.

Afraid that he would go back on his word, I provoked Juliet with my eyes as if to say, "See, even if I feed you shit, your son still won't be willing to divorce."

She understood what I meant and immediately started playing tricks. She begged me not to divorce Tom. She also said that if I really didn't like her, she could go back to the countryside alone.

Tom couldn't bear to let go of Juliet after they had depended on each other for so many years.

With Juliet's trick, Tom and I went to the law office and successfully got a divorce.

Since I was not the one at fault, I was not kicked out of the house with nothing in this life.

The best outcome for me would be to divide the property equally and raise Nick by myself.

In fact, the reason for my divorce from Tom was not only because of Juliet, but also because of that girl.

In just one night, he fell in love with her.

In my previous life, Tom started to be absent-minded at this time, and I thought he was depressed due to work pressure.

Now that I thought about it, it was all because of my slowness! Not only did I lose my life, but I also implicated Nick.

The day after the divorce, I took Nick for a full-body check-up. I was relieved when I saw that there was no health problem between us.

I used the remaining money to buy a small house and started a new life with Nick.

Chapter 3

I thought that after the divorce, I would no longer have any connection with Tom and his mother.

Unexpectedly, a year later, Juliet found me in the hospital.

When we met again, I thought she was here to cause trouble for me.

Unexpectedly, she fell in front of me and begged, "Katie, please save me!"

I looked at her in confusion. Her limbs were intact, and her face was rosy. She didn't look like she was about to die.

Until my colleague told me that she was infected with HIV.

I was stunned. It wasn't Tom who got HIV, but Juliet.

I didn't think much and just believed that it was caused by Juliet having an affair.

But HIV had no cure, and I couldn't save her.

Listening to her screams and cries, I was not moved at all.

In my previous life, when I was diagnosed with this disease, she told me that she wanted me to go to hell.

Since Tom and I were divorced, I naturally had nothing to do with Juliet.

But I underestimated how shameless Juliet was. She actually asked me to take care of her just because I was a doctor and could help her live a few more years.

I was so angry that I laughed. Not to mention that she was suffering from such a serious infectious disease now. Even if she was a normal person, I had no obligation to take care of her.

So I rejected her coldly and told her to leave.

Unexpectedly, Juliet scratched herself with a knife and then stabbed me. She screamed like a madman. "If you don't take care of me, you will get HIV like me!"

I was caught off guard. Just when I thought I could not avoid this disaster, I didn't expect Juliet to fall first.

The knife in her hand also cut her face, and blood dripped down her cheek to the floor.

She was disfigured. Although she was in her forties, she was a woman, and the disfigurement was as much of a blow to her as contracting HIV.

She was unlucky. She didn't hurt me but hurt herself.

Security arrived and took the dangerous woman to police office without any hesitation.

The incident only caused a small ripple in my life.

I quickly forgot the incident.

But she didn't give up. A few days later, she blocked me on my way home from getting off work.

In order to avoid what happened before happening again, I asked her to stay five away from me before talking.

It was getting dark, and there were not many people on the road. Although I was at a safe distance from Juliet, I still did not let my guard down.

Juliet begged me to take care of her.

I treated her coldly. "You have a son. Why do you need me to take care of you?"

She cried, "Tom has been bewitched by the bitch. He doesn't care about me."

I guessed the bitch Juliet mentioned was that girl.

I helplessly spread my hands, acting as if it had nothing to do with me.

At this time, Juliet suddenly laughed sinisterly. "I have HIV, you can not escape it."

I looked at her in confusion. What did her HIV infection have to do with me?

I thought she was stimulated, that she was mentally disturbed.

Seeing that I didn't believe her, Juliet said seriously, "What do you think caused my illness? It's all thanks to Tom."

What? This information was a bit overwhelming for me.
