It was considered a curse in the werewolf world when a child was born with a black birthmark. Jennifer was one of those unfortunate wolves born with that mark. Her mother died as soon as she released her from her womb and officially displayed her as a cursed wolf. Her step-family abused her and forced her to serve the whole pack after her father’s death. She was sold off as a Luna to one of the most dread packs and made to marry an Alpha who got poisoned from war and became a vegetative werewolf, having only a few months left to live. Jennifer had to marry Alpha Raymond, who was known to be a ruthless and powerful wolf, one whom everyone was frightened of like death.

“Don’t worry; everything will be fine once I take you away from this pack.”

Jennifer looked at Nathan when she heard him. He was not only her boyfriend but also her mate. She held him in the highest regard, viewing him as the epitome of trustworthiness.

“I can only rely on you, Nathan, as you are my mate. I am certain that you will always be there for me, even if everyone else were to turn their backs on me. Your loyalty is unwavering.”

Jennifer hugged her mate and smiled.

Only her mate was the one whom she could rely on blindly. Otherwise, she had no one to lean on because she was born a cursed she-wolf. Such wolves were either killed at birth, instantly demoted to omegas and made to serve the pack they belonged to, or banished at a certain age.

The mark was the worst thing a wolf could bear and something every mother dreaded to give birth to. No one knew when the birthmark baby would emerge as it was very rare and unpredictable.

As expected, Jennifer’s mother died as soon as she gave birth to her.

Jennifer’s father, Carl Davis, the head Alpha of the Blood Pearl pack, was determined to keep her identity secret. He was unwilling to kill or release his infant daughter to the harshness of the outside world.

When Jennifer was three years old, Carl married a widow named Nicole. She was Carl’s beta’s wife. Unfortunately, Carl’s beta left the world in an accident, leaving his wife and a two-year-old daughter.

Carl thought about giving his daughter a mother and that broken family a shadow, so he married Nicole.

Nicole showed love to Jennifer, and Carl gave Nicole’s daughter Christina all the facilities, including his surname.

Everything went as planned until it started to go wrong.

After his mysterious illness and hospitalization, Jennifer’s real identity was disclosed.

She was immediately stripped of her position and made to serve her step-family and the entire pack.

Even an enslaved person was better than her. She was abused in many ways and automatically hated as she bore the birthmark. Her only gain was her not being banished from the pack.

Luckily for Jennifer, she found her mate last year and developed a new hope in her heart to live like others. He promised her to set her free from this pack and would start a new life with her.

Jennifer broke the hug and cleared her throat.

“Nathan, I have to go now. I don’t want Mom to get angry at me again. You know how my family is, right?”

Nathan nodded and looked around. “I am also leaving then.”

Jennifer was stunned when he came closer and kissed her left cheek.

“Bye, Baby.”

She blushed. “Bye.”

With a swift pivot, she made her way toward the pack house. But as she was strolling back to the way of the pack house, she heard others cursing her.

“Look at her, the cursed Omega.”

“Yeah, how can she just come here and roam around? Luna Nicole should cage her or sell her somewhere. She is an ill-fated woman.”

Jennifer kept her head low as she stepped forward into the way. It was painful every time she heard others bad-mouthing her.

She was about to cross the road when she heard a few people.

“The soon-to-be head Alpha of the Blood Stone pack, Alpha Raymond, is dying.”

A pack fighter stopped when he heard that. He turned to the man who had just spoken.

“Isn’t it great news for us? If he dies, we will be safe from wars and don’t need to fear anyone else anymore since he is the only one we all pack are scared of.”

Jennifer could not hear the full conversation of those people since she needed to go back.

But she knew about that Blood Stone pack of the Northern side of the United States. It was the most dread pack in the werewolf world.

Most of the time, almost every pack’s people gossiped about that pack and feared about that pack’s future, Alpha.

Although her pack was distant from the other pack, her fellow pack members still feared their Alpha. Upon entering the pack house, Jennifer observed her stepmother Nicole and step-sister Christina seated on the couch, appearing angry, with Christina exhibiting heightened emotions. Jennifer nervously paused on the stairs upon hearing Christina’s voice.

“Whore, come here.”

Of course, it was one of her names in the pack house. Her step-family liked to call her by different names to belittle her.

Jennifer closed her eyes and sighed. She turned to Christina and made her way to her.

But the moment she stood in front of Christina, Christina stood up and slapped her hard.

Jennifer touched her left cheek, which became swollen, and glanced at Christina.

“You dared to meet Nathan again?”

Jennifer parted her lips, which got cut in the corner of the side.

“He called me.” She replied.

“What did I tell you before? Not to meet him again. Did you forget my warning?” Christina shouted at her.

“But he is my mate,” Jennifer dared to gather the courage and speak out.

Though she was one year older than Christina, Christina never accepted her as an elder sister. In fact, she and her mother always abused her.

“What did you say?” Christina yelled and was about to slap her again, but Nicole held her hand.

“What are you doing? You can’t beat her till death. She has to be fine. She can be a great use of ours.” Nicole let out and smirked.

Jennifer could not understand the reason for Nicole’s smirk or words but lowered her head.

Christina grabbed Jennifer’s jaw and glared at her.

“Go to the kitchen and prepare the best dish for dinner. You don’t need to serve it on the table. Come to my room directly after two hours.”

Jennifer nodded her head, and Christina left her jaw.

Jennifer could not go to her room. She went to the kitchen directly and started to make dinner.

She did not like her stepmother and sister. If they hated Jennifer, then Jennifer hated them more.

They were the reasons for Jennifer’s current state.

Jennifer focused on cooking. No one came to help her as usual. Though the pack house had many maids, it was Luna’s order that no one could give a hand to her.

Jennifer had to work in the kitchen, cleaning the pack house and outside the garden alone. She did not understand why even her step-family had maids when they made her do every work alone. All the maids were always around her to keep an eye on her so they could go and complain about her to their Luna.

She was done preparing dinner and looked at her phone’s screen to see the time.

“When did two hours pass?”

She hurriedly served dinner for her stepmother at the table and took a plate of food for Christina.

She headed upstairs with a plate of food and went to Christina’s room since Christina’s room was upstairs in the top corner.

However, her legs stopped when she heard the sounds of moans from Christina’s room.

Jennifer slowly stepped forward and darted at the door.

The door was closed, but her hands lifted to open the door because she heard someone else’s voice from inside.

Her trembling hands touched the doorknob and twisted it. Surprisingly, the door was not locked. She opened it slightly and saw a man pounding a woman on the bed and groaning loudly.

The moment the man moved from the woman and lay beside her, Jennifer witnessed the most ruthless betrayal in front of her eyes.

Her mate, who was also her boyfriend, who promised to set her free from this hell, who gave her hope to start a new life, was lying naked with her step-sister Christina.

Jennifer’s grip loosened on the plate. The sound of the broken plate made her step-sister and her boyfriend look at the door.

Jennifer could not control her tears. Her lips quivered as she spoke out,

“Nathan?”

Tears streamed out of Jennifer’s eyes. She lost her voice and became speechless.

Nathan looked stunned; he immediately wrapped the bed sheet around his waist and was about to go to her, but Christina grabbed his arm and stopped him.

“Why are you even trying to explain anything to her? She is just our slave. By the way, she is no match for you.”

Jennifer was only looking at Nathan with a disgusted feeling in her heart. She shook her head and stepped back.

As she turned around, she could not dwell on the shattered fragments of the plate. However, to her surprise, a few of the broken pieces pricked her legs, causing blood to stream from her feet. Despite the pain, it paled compared to the feeling of betrayal she had just experienced.

As she was exiting the room, Christina’s deliberate loud talking with Nathan was audible to her.

“Don’t worry, baby; when you mark me, you will become the head Alpha of our pack. You don’t need to think about that cursed omega anymore.”

Indeed, Nathan wanted that too. He wanted the throne and could sacrifice his mate for that position. So he did not come after Jennifer.

“You are right; let’s go for another round, Christina.”

Jennifer bit her lips to stop crying loudly.

“No, no. I can no longer live in this pack; no one I can call mine. I want to leave this hell right now.”

She did not go to her room; instead, she went directly to the main door.

However, some maids stopped her.

“Where are you going, Slut?”

She closed her eyes, and more tears poured out of her eyes.

“Let me go now; I am not in the mood right now.” She said to them.

She was already broke. She could not take more. Even maids called her names here. Where would she go? She could not stay here for a minute.

“Stop showing your attitude and go to Luna. She called you.”

Jennifer did not want to go but could not make her stepmother mad. Otherwise, she would do something to her that she had never imagined.

Last time she called Jennifer to do some work. Jennifer was late, so Nicole told her to strip in front of some guests.

Jennifer was so afraid that she almost passed out. Nicole forced her and told her that she would strip Jennifer by herself in front of others.

Luckily one of Jennifer’s relatives turned out to be her well-wisher. He saved her and did not let Nicole do that.

“I am going,” Jennifer said to the maids.

Her legs were shaking as she glanced upstairs. She looked away and went to her stepmother’s room, which was downstairs.

Jennifer knocked on Nicole’s door. Nicole opened the door with a bright smile as if she were just waiting for her.

“Y-You called m-me?”

Jennifer was stunned by her delighted face.

“Pack your bag,” Nicole ordered her.

She frowned when she heard Nicole.

“Why?”

“You are going to the Blood Stone pack.”

She was confused again.

“Why would I go to that pack?”

Jennifer asked her stepmother, but she was not ready to hear what Nicole was going to reply.

“I sold you to the Alpha of the Blood Stone pack, who offered to pay me one million on the condition that you marry his son.”

As if the sky had fallen over Jennifer, she stepped back. She felt someone push her from the edge, and she was about to fall.

“I can’t believe this.” She let out.

Nicole chuckled and nodded, “Exactly! I also can’t believe that someone is buying you with such a big amount of money! You are not worth it. But I am lucky enough to have it.”

Jennifer fell to her knees, losing all her hope.

“Why are you acting like this? You should be happy that you are going to be someone’s wife, although it was for a few months.”

Jennifer shook her head. “No, I won’t go there.”

She was aware of the Blood Stone pack and their upcoming Alpha, who was currently sick and unresponsive. His health was deteriorating rapidly, and his death was imminent.

Nicole came close to her, bent down, and grabbed her hair, while Jennifer hissed in pain.

“I have already sold you to that old Alpha. Now even if you don’t want to go, he will come and take you forcibly for his son. So it’s better if you go by yourself without any trouble.”

Jennifer’s eyes were on the floor. How much could she cry?

All of her life, she only had to cry. She could never get a mother’s love. Her father somehow died, and she lost her father’s shadow too. Now her boyfriend cheated on her.

Nicole let go of her hair and grabbed her jaw tightly.

Jennifer closed her eyes when she heard about the brothel. She knew Nicole could do anything, she was this pack’s luna, and no one would come to save a cursed omega.

After a while, she looked up at her stepmother.

She took a deep breath and said, “I will go to the Blood Stone pack.”

Jennifer packed her bag and stood outside of the pack house. She was waiting for the men who would take her to the Blood Stone pack.

Her stepmother Nicole was standing beside her. There were no maids around them but only a few pack fighters.

Nicole grabbed Jennifer’s arm.

“Listen to me very carefully. They don’t know who you are. I didn’t tell them that you are a cursed omega with that birthmark.”

Jennifer looked at her, “What if they get to know about it?”

Nicole chuckled. “Silly girl. It will not be my problem since I have already sold you. But you will be the one who will bear the consequences. So it’s better if you shut your mouth. Don’t tell them who you are. The Alpha doesn’t know about your identity; he only wants a weak Omega who will take care of his son until he dies.”

Jennifer lowered her head without any reply.

So Nicole warned her again, “That vegetative man will never get to see your body anyway. So you should always hide your back. If anyone sees it, they will kill you. Not everyone is kind-hearted like me who will let you live here; they will slay you right then.”

Jennifer felt her life had become a joke. Why were so many things happening to her?

She turned her head inside the house. As if Nicole got what she was looking for, she said,

“Nathan will mark my daughter soon. So he does not even need to reject you. The bond will automatically end after the marking.”

Though Nicole declared it confidently, inside her heart, she was a little bit doubtful whether Nathan would really reject Jennifer if he saw her leaving. So she did not take any risk to inform anyone about Jennifer.

Three cars reached the pack house and stopped in the entrance area.

Nicole was shocked. Many men in black suits came out and stood in front of them.

Nicole realized that it was the Blood Stone pack heir’s men. However, she did not take it into mind since he would die soon, and Jennifer would never get to live a married life for one day with a lifeless man.

“Go now; I don’t have much time.” Nicole pushed Jennifer towards those men.

Jennifer controlled her steps and stood straight. She saw a few men giving some briefcases to Nicole.

“Here is your money,” one of them said.

Jennifer’s eyes widened. They gave Nicole one million dollars in cash!

She was getting sold in front of her own eyes!

Nicole’s eyes brightened up with greed.

“Please!”

A man told Jennifer and opened the car door.

Jennifer glanced at the pack house for the last time, then got in the car.

The car drove for almost twelve hours. She was alone in the car with the driver. The car was in the middle between two cars. The men in those two cars looked like they were guarding her.

‘They think I will run?’ Jennifer thought and shook her head.

The whole journey was very tiring. She tried to ask the driver many things. But most of the time, he was quiet, as if he was forbidden to speak much.

When the car arrived at the Blood Stone pack, it was afternoon time.

The Blood Stone pack was really massive and beautiful. It was far bigger than her pack. It was the most developed pack.

The car stopped in front of a palace, and the driver got down and came to open her side of the door.

The moment Jennifer came out, she saw many other people looking at her with a smile.

She almost frowned her brows at their happy faces.

‘Why do they look delighted?’ She asked herself. She could see they were not well dressed like her in inexpensive clothes.

“Hello!”

She greeted an old woman who smiled and nodded her head.

Those men who guarded her gestured to her by their hands to enter the palace.

“Alpha Mark is waiting for you inside our pack house,” Jennifer heard when she entered the palace.

‘Is a pack house? But it looks like a royal castle!’ She thought.

She was amazed by the decoration of the pack house. Her eyes fell on the old man, who looked strong.

“Welcome to the Blood Stone pack.”

Jennifer understood that he was the current Alpha. She immediately bowed to him.

The old man chuckled and nodded.

“Great, good etiquette! I wanted a girl like this for my son.”

Hearing him, Jennifer felt nervous.

“Come with me.” The Alpha told Jennifer and headed to the hallway.

Jennifer followed him behind; he stopped at a big door. He opened the door, and Jennifer entered the room with him.

“Here is my son, Alpha Raymond.”

She turned her head to the master bed and saw the most handsome man she had ever seen.

He looked like a prince who was sleeping.

She remembered what the driver told her about this man.

“Our Alpha was very strong and powerful. He turned into a vegetable by poisoning in the last war a few months ago. He was the one who helped his father’s pack to become this powerful pack we are today.”

Those driver’s words echoed in her mind. But how could she ignore what her pack members said? It was rumored that he was ruthless and violent. Anyone who messed with him ended up miserable. So, she never thought she would marry such a man.

“I have an offer for you. You can take it as my order too.”

Jennifer came out of her thoughts and turned to the old Alpha.

“Yes?” She asked softly.

The old Alpha looked straight into her eyes and said,

“I want you to bear a baby with my son within a month. If you do that, you will be rewarded with another one million.”

Jennifer was shocked and, at the same time, dumbfounded. Mostly she was embarrassed. How could he say such a thing to her so easily?

‘How can it even be possible?’ She asked herself.

She lowered her head and asked,

“B-But how can I-”

“The doctor said my son still has a physical reaction. He does not have much time in this world. I want someone who can always make others remember who Alpha Raymond was.” The old Alpha explained with an upset tone.

Jennifer could feel that man’s sadness in his voice. But it was not easy for her. She was not money hungry; it was her stepmother.

“If you can’t do this. Your life will be in danger.”

“W-What do you mean, Alpha?”

“You have to do it. Otherwise, I can do anything for my son.”

Jennifer was silent. Was he threatening her that he would kill her?

This pack and its people were ruthless. They could do that too.

“I am leaving him to you, and this room is yours from now on,” the old Alpha said and left the room.

Jennifer sighed and closed the door. She came out of hell, but little did she know it was another trap for her.

Her eyes moved to the man who was lying on the bed.

Her legs unknowingly stepped forward. She went to the bed and stood beside him.

“Alpha Raymond.” Her tongue rolled up his name softly.

She had been suppressing her wolf’s instincts for a significant period. It wasn’t until she discovered Nathan as her mate that her wolf finally emerged. Following this, her wolf ceased to resist her commands.

However, now her wolf unknowingly felt excitement just looking at this man; Jennifer did not know why.

His in-depth brows, handsome facial structure, and strong body really caught her eye.

She bent down to see him more closely.
