They soon reached a very luxurious looking house and Claire jaws dropped when she saw the magnificent house.

The automatic gate was activated with a remote control by Bob, they drove in and parked, Claire got down from the vehicle with her mouth still wide opened, Dozens and Dozens of men walked up and down wearing suits. Claire stared at the men as they walked in group.

She was so amazed. “Alright, let's go in now ” Bob said. Claire quickly followed Bob and they all went into the house. “oh she's here already! ” A guy exclaimed as they walked in, he was the fourth guy that didn't show up in the restaurant earlier.

“Welcome Cinderella, Catherine? " He asked her, “it's Claire, Claire Damien” Claire corrected him.

“Welcome Claire, am Andrew. It's nice to have you here, follow me I'll show you your room now!” Andrew said.

“Wow, for the first time in my life I'm treated with respect, by the way where's that dumb guy” Claire thought and looked around checking if he was here.

“Are you looking for our dumb friend” Bob asked, Claire nodded. “He's in his room relaxing, you wouldn't wanna disturb him” Bod said.

John was trying as much as possible to hold his laughter, he couldn't hold it anymore, He bursted into laughter which got his friends laughing too.

“it's happening again, am I sure I can cope with a dumb boy and his lunatic friends" Claire asked herself and stared at them pitifully as they laughed hard.

They stopped laughing and Andrew led the way to Claire's room, they walked past a door and Claire suddenly paused when she saw the door slightly opened, she slowed down and quickly peeped through the little gap.

He was lying there, The dumb guy was sleeping on a bed covering him self with a white duvet. Claire stares as he slept innocently on the bed. “Nobody would ever imagine someone this cute is ...” Claire was saying when a hand suddenly grabbed her and pulled her away from the door.

“you better stay away from this door if you don't wanna get into trouble" Andrew said. Claire nodded.

Andrew laid her upstairs to her room, Claire walked in an gasped at the beautifully decorated room, the room was painted in blue, which was also her favourite colour.

She happily jumped on the bed with a big smile on her face, “This room smells so nice, I am finally at home" Claire said and cuddled the pillow cause she was already catching some cold from the Air conditioner, she had never been under one before. She tried to sleep but the cold wouldn't let her.

She stood up and angrily stormed out if the room and went downstairs and to the men, “Hey can you turn off my room's Air conditioner please” Claire said.

“i can cone help you out if you're having cold already " John said and smirked. Bob quickly pinched him, “just kidding, the electrician would be here to fix it soon” john said.

Claire nodded and walked back upstairs, she came across the door again and saw it was still opened, she peeped through the space and the door suddenly opened and Jake was standing in front of her just in his underwear.

Claire quickly ran upstairs and to her room, her heart was beating fast. She quickly rushed to her bed and buried her face in the pillow.

She heard some foot steps approach her door, Her heart beat increased. Her door opened and Bob walked to her and sat on the bed.

“You see, there's only one thing Jake detest and it's women. So I would advise you to stay as Much as possible away from him, okay” Bob asked. Claire nodded.

Bob walked out leaving Claire in a confused state, “why would they employ me knowing well that he hates women, this is too weird. He's dumb, His friends has mental issues and now he hates women. I don't think I would last a night Here ” Claire exclaimed.

She laid on her back and sighed, Her stomach suddenly grumbled. She hasn't eaten anything today.

She rushed out of her room and went downstairs, She met John sitting there. “am famished, anything to eat” Claire asked confidently.

John pointed to a refrigerator standing at the conner of the dinning room.

Claire rushed to the fridge and opened it, she gasped as she saw the amount of food and beverages stored.

She quickly grabbed as many as her hands could carry and walked away from the refrigerator. “what the..” John exclaimed as she saw Claire walk past him holding the foods.

“what's wrong, you think this won't be enough. I thought so too, I'll grab some more" Claire said and approached the refrigerator again, “No..No it's okay, Go eat those one first. You can come back for more later!" John said.

He watched as Claire walked upstairs struggling to carry the foods in her hands cause they were almost falling off.

“We are in serious shit” John exclaimed.

Claire opened her door and walked in, she dropped the foods on her bed and arranged them properly, she stared at them and smirked. She sat on her bed and prayed before devoured the food.

“oh shit I shouldn't have ate too much!” Claire exclaimed sitting on the toilet seat. She finished in the toilet holding her stomach.

She groaned and went to her bed, she collapsed on it and breathed head. She suddenly heard a knock on her door, “come back later..she's asleep!" Claire yelled.

The door opened and Bob walked in, “Hey you're okay?” Bob asked.

“Yeah, am doing perfectly well!” Claire said and smiled awkwardly. Bob nodded and closed the food, Claire heard his footsteps fade away.

She suddenly rushed back to the toilet.

Bob walked downstairs chuckling, “She's in some deep shit!” He said to his friends. They all laughed hard.

Jake suddenly came downstairs, “Hey man you're up!” Bob exclaimed as he saw Jake coming down.

“Why were you guys laughing ” Jake asked him. “she ate too much food, she's in serious shit ” Bob said and laughed again. Andrew and john joined him in laughing.

“Great, she's a glutton too, she has too many issues already now she's a glutton” Jake said and walked back to his room leaving the others laughing so hard.

“I have an idea guys” Andrew suddenly said. “Alright we are all ears” Bob replied

“This is gonna spice everything up bit” Andrew added. “ Common dude, just say it already ” John said eagerly.

“Alright this is what we're gonna do”..

Jake suddenly paused when he heard a knock on his door, He walked slowly to the door and opened it sightly, he peeped out and saw his three friends standing on his doorstep.

“What's going on” Jake asked staring at the confusedly. They pushed him out of the way and went in. “Can you guys just say what is wrong you know I hate suspense” Jake said.

“Alright, we've been pondering on something lately and we would like to..” “Hey john, just skip to the point” Bob said.

“okay, so you're gonna go shopping with her” John said. “You're crazy. The deal was to allow her stay here for a month, not go around shopping and and having dinner dates with her!” Jake yelled angrily.

“good, we might include that later. But first you have to go shopping” John said.

“Alright that's it, you guy should leave my room” Jake said and pointed at the door, “you don't have a choice, you're gonna do it!” Bob said and chuckled.

He walked out and Andrew also did, John sat there looking around. “And what the hell are you waiting for” Jake asked him.

“Me too” John asked. “No you can stay” Jake said picked up his shoe. “Good, I really thought you were gonna insist on..what the fuck!” john yelled and dodges the shoe Jake threw at him, he quickly sprinted out of the room.

It was in the middle of the night, a loud noise was suddenly heard. The men ran out of their rooms and asked each other what the notice was all about.

“Where's Jake ” John said and rushed to Jake's room. “Hey Jake, open up” John said and banged the door.

“Go away" Jake yelled. “Did you hear the loud noise " John asked.

“It wasn't from here so go away!" Jake yelled. John left his doorstep and went to the others. “It's not from his room, let's go check on her" John said and walked to Claire's doorstep.

He knocked and tried to open the door but it was locked, “Hey Cinderella, are you okay in there” John asked.

“It's Claire and am okay ” Claire yelled. “oh you're awake, did you hear the sound" John asked.

“I have no idea, but I think imma go sleep back" Bob said and yawned. He left and went to his room.

Andrew turned and entered his room too, “Hey dude, that's my room!" John said to the sleepy Andrew.

Claire confirmed if they had all gone by slightly opening her door and peeping outside, they had all returned to their rooms. She quickly rushed to the Ac hanged on the wall and adjusted it back.

She had hit it with a mopping stick causing it to turn off, she had to do it cause she was finding it hard to sleep in the cold room. She finished covering it and went to back to her bed and slept comfortably.

It was morning already and everyone was still sleeping cause it was a Saturday. Claire was the first to wake up in the house. She stretched and left her room.

She went downstairs and met the guys watching TV. “the plane crashed left about 50 people dead” Claire stared at the TV confusedly.

“Where did this happen” Andrew asked John, “,it happened in our city's airport two days ago! " John replied.

“Shit” Claire yelled and rushed back upstairs, she quickly picked her phone and dialed her dad's line. She was relieved when he picked the call.

“Hey dad are you.." “Hello this is not your dad, I think he died in the aeroplane crash, Hey Bridget, this phone belongs to one of the victim Right ” A feminine voice said.

“is this a joke, how did you find his phone in the crash " Claire asked as her heart beat increased. “we found the phone luckily, by the way the plane didn't completely explode" the woman said.

Claire phone dropped from her hand, “No this can't be happening, my Dad is not dead. He is definitely not dead!!" Claire yelled and fell to the floor.

She cried her eyes out. Her door suddenly opened and the boys walked in. They walked to her and asked her what happened, She explained everything to them and they sympathized with her.

“i need to go see my step mum now” Claire said and stood up to leave, “I'll take you there, you won't stay long right " John said.

“No let me do it, Am so sorry you lost him so early. Let's go dear” Bob said and held her hand, “hold up, I'll do it" Andrew said.

“you don't even know where she lives” Bob said, they all began to argue yelling at each other on top of their voices like women.

Claire stared at them as they argued, she silently walked out and boarded a cab home. She went in and met her step mum sitting with a sober face. She was staring at the News on the TV.

Claire walked to one of the chairs and sat, she looked around to check if Mitchell was somewhere close, “Where's Mitchell ” Claire asked her.

“Claire, your dad is dead ” she said. “I know but there's nothing we can do to bring him back, we gat to move on" Claire said.

She stood up and walked to her room, she laid on her bed and cried her eyes out. She soon slept off after hours of sobbing!.

She was woken later by a knock on her door, Claire stood up and went to her door, she opened it and Mitchell was standing on her door step.

“The men are here to see you" Mitchell said and walked away. “They have finished arguing already” Claire asked herself as she walked to her bathroom.

She washed her face with some water and wiped her face with a towel. She picked up her phone and walked out of the house.

“Hey” Bob said as Claire walked to them. she didn't respond but just went to the car and sat in the back seat. “watsup!” John asked sitting in the driver's seat.

Claire nodded and looked away, Bob got in the car and they zoomed off.

“They're gone” Mitchell frowned as she sat back on the chair, she had been peeping out through the window and watching Claire got in the car.

“she now goes around in exotic cars, how long will this continue mom" Mitchell asked with a sad face.

“This week we mourn your Dad.. ” “He's not my father!" Mitchell said, interrupting what her mum was saying.

“ok, we're gonna mourn your step dad first, then we'll deal with her later" She said.

“i can't wait for that! ” Mitchell exclaimed.

They soon got home and Claire walked upstairs to her room, she walked past Jake without saying anything. He stared at her as she walked upstairs.

Bob and and John walked in and sat down. “So" Jake asked staring at them.

“ nothing!, but I think you should take her shopping tomorrow, at least to cheer her up a bit” Bob said. “We already talked about this, I will not take her shopping, this whole thing is just a stupid dare and She'll be out of here in no time” Jake said angrily.

“You should do it, have respect for the dead! ” Bob said. “What does shopping have to do with a dead person. He's dead and nothing will bring her dad back" Jake said, he looked at his friends who were staring at him awkwardly.

“Don't stare at me like that, I won't do it!” Jake said. His friends continued staring at him weirdly.

“Fine, fine. I'll do it!” Jake yelled and angrily left for his room, “Yeah, that's more like it ” John said and jumped up happily. “Finally, it's happening, His dad is gonna be so proud of us!” Bob and exclaimed.

“Yeah, by the way where's Andrew” John asked. “He's gone to a casino downtown, he said he needs to have fun tonight!” Bob said and laughed. It was already noon so they went to their respective rooms to take a short nap.

Andrew arrived at the casino in a grand style, his bodyguards flocked around him as he struggled to go through the crowd, He always love to see people yelling his name like a celebrity.

Andrew stood there and paused, he just received the shock of his life, he instantly left the casino and rushed back home to tell the others what just happened to him!.

He got home only to find out everyone has gone to bed already, “guess we will do this another day” Andrew said.

He checked his wristwatch and it was already half past nine pm. He went to his room to take a nap.

Claire sat in her room feeling very sad, she couldn't believe her father died just barely a day she secured a well paying job.

She cried her eyes out, she soon heard a knock on her door. She went to the door and opened it. Bob was standing right there in his night wears.

“Are you okay" Bob asked the sad looking Claire, she nodded and wiped her face. “ok you'll be going shopping with Jake tomorrow, make sure you wake up early” Bob said.

Claire nodded in agreement, Bob left her doorstep and went back to his room.

Claire went to her bed and laid down, she continued thinking of her Dad till she slept off..

Claire woke up the next day and quickly got ready, she wore her dress and went downstairs , others soon joined her and they all sat and watched TV.

Jake soon came out of his room and came downstairs, “look who's ready for a date!” Andrew exclaimed as Jake walked downstairs dressed in his fancy suit.

He ignored them and walked out, Claire sat there and watched as he walked out. She stared at the guys and they were all staring at her.

She gazed at the confusedly, “Em..what's wrong” Claire asked. “Get your ass out there before he changes his mind!" Andrew said.

She stared around and was amazed at the car's interiors, She had never been in one before. The car suddenly started moving and she adjusted herself and sat well. She looked back and car was behind them, she was sure one was in the front too.

They drove for some minutes and soon stooped by a mall. The door was opened by Jake's bodyguard and Claire majestically alighted from the vehicle.

In a twinkle of an eye, crowd has already gathered around yelling his names, some reporters using their phone to record asked Jake some questions. “Mr Jake it's so nice to see you here, oh is this your girlfriend " A reporter asked gesturing at Claire who was staring around. He ignored them and slowly walked in.

Claire was left standing in the middle of the crowd, “Hi miss, are you Mr Jake's girlfriend” A reporter asked, “Hi, his long have you been dating” Another asked.

They all asked her dozens of questions at once, she was too confused to even answer any of the questions.

“He's not my boyfriend, who would marry a dumb boy!" Claire suddenly yelled. There was sudden silence, Claire stared at everyone nervously.
