Chapter 1

My Boyfriend, Henry Scott had an accident and lost his memory. For some reason, he unknowingly became affectionate.

The man who once hesitated to buy me luxury items had started showering me with them. He had promised to fetch the stars and the moon for me.

He even went so far as to shop online for various couples’ toys.

But just as I shyly tried to explore these newfound "gifts," he snatched them away.

In the next moment, the once-innocent, 'puppy-like' boyfriend transformed into a wolf in sheep's clothing, pinning me down with intensity.

While I was caught in the moment, he leaned close to my ear and muttered curiously, "Hmm, Sienna, your skin feels smoother than before."

His words instantly pulled me back to reality.

Sienna was the name of the college student he sponsored—who also happened to be his mistress.

——

When I heard Henry had been in a car accident, I rushed to the hospital immediately.

Seeing that he was fine, I finally let out a sigh of relief.

As he slowly opened his eyes and saw me, his gaze lit up instantly.

His first words were, “Now’s the perfect time! While no one’s here, let’s finish what we started!”

I blinked, unsure of what he meant.

Before I could react, Henry pinned me beneath him.

Feeling the undeniable heat radiating from him, my cheeks turned bright red.

“Henry, you just had surgery. Your body hasn’t fully recovered. We can take our time... we have plenty of chances in the future.”

But before I could finish, he cut me off abruptly. “Sienna, haven’t we done this often enough already? Remember that time at Lianna’s dad’s funeral? This is just a hospital. Nothing too crazy, right?”

I froze on the spot.

Sienna was the name of the college student he sponsored.

Lianna—that was my name.

Not too long ago, my father passed away unexpectedly.

At his funeral, I cried so hard that I fainted. But when I regained consciousness, Henry, who accompanied me was nowhere to be found.

When I finally found him, his neck was covered in suspicious red marks.

I asked him about it, and he just averted his gaze. “Mosquito bites,” he answered.

My eyes reddened as I stared at him now.

“Who do you think I am?” I asked, voice trembling.

Henry looked puzzled.

“You’re Sienna, of course,” he said matter-of-factly.

Then, squinting slightly, he added, “You’ve been with me for six years. Don’t tell me you’re tired of me now. Don’t worry, even when I’m old, I’ll still be capable.”

We had only been together for seven years. His words froze the blood in my veins.

I instinctively shoved him away.

Seeing my reaction, Henry frowned. “Sienna, is this about that new LV bag? Fine, I’ll buy you a whole wall of them. What's with the tantrum?”

This was the first time I’d seen him act so generous. Before, whenever I showed interest in luxury items, he would stand on his moral high ground and scold me. “A single bag costs more than a rural child’s living expenses for years! Why waste money on such frivolous things?”

Now, he reached out to pull me close again.

I pushed him away once more. “I’m on my period. It’s inconvenient.”

Not waiting for his response, I stumbled out of the hospital room, my mind reeling from the overwhelming revelations.

I went straight to the doctor.

Adjusting his glasses, the doctor explained, “The patient suffered a concussion from the accident. This can sometimes lead to cognitive confusion or misidentification of people. It’s a rare condition, but it does happen.”

Hearing this, I leaned against the wall, my strength draining away as I slid to the floor.

I sat there in silence for what felt like an eternity.

Then, wiping away the tears at the corners of my eyes, I stood up slowly and composed myself.

I pulled out my phone and dialed a number.

“Mom, I’ve decided. I’m coming back to take over the family business.”

Being decisive and clear-headed had always been my way of handling things.

Chapter 2

The day Henry was discharged from the hospital, a nurse approached me with an envious smile.

“Did you know? When Mr. Scott was unconscious in the operating room, he kept calling out for Sienna—your name. Ever since you’ve been here, his recovery has been remarkably fast.”

I returned her smile but said nothing.

I am not Sienna.

After his discharge, Henry was in an unusually good mood.

“Lianna went on a trip recently. This time, you can finally come to my house without sneaking around,” he beamed.

Before his car accident, I had lied to him, saying I was going on a month-long vacation.

In truth, I had returned home to sign an agreement to relinquish my inheritance rights.

Even though Henry was wealthy, his fortune paled in comparison to my family’s business empire.

My parents looked down on him and insisted on finding me a partner of equal standing.

When I refused, they threatened to cut me off financially if I stayed with him.

In love, I’d always been the type to quietly sacrifice, so I never told Henry how much I’d given up to be with him.

But before I could finalize the agreement, I learned about his car accident. Without a second thought, I boarded the next flight to see him.

Just as we approached the door of his house, he suddenly reached under the doormat and pulled out a key.

Handing it to me, he said, “You always like to hide the spare key here. How many times have I told you to keep it safe?”

I froze for a moment before forcing a smile.

I had bought the lock for this house myself, and there were only two keys.

I never knew he had given Sienna one as well.

Once inside, I instinctively reached for my house slippers, only to be stopped by Henry.

“Don’t wear those; they belong to Lianna. She’s a germaphobe,” he said, quickly taking the slippers from me and carefully placing them back in the shoe cabinet.

Then, as if recalling something else, he added, “And remember, there’s a rabbit-themed cup in the kitchen. Don’t use it—it’s Lianna’s favorite. I bought it especially for her.”

Hearing his words, I couldn’t suppress the bitterness rising in my chest.

Feigning a pout in Sienna’s tone, I asked, “I’ve been with you for so long. When will you give me an official title?”

He squinted at me, his gaze cold and warning. “Sienna, having fun is one thing. Marriage is another. Lianna is my future wife—that will never change.”

Realizing his tone was harsh, he softened his expression and pulled me into his arms. “As long as you behave, I’ll give you anything you want—except the title.”

Then, leaning close, he bit my ear lightly and whispered conspiratorially, “You’ve always hated sneaking around when you come to my house. Well, guess what? This house is yours now. I secretly transferred the ownership to you. Lianna doesn’t know a thing.”

I said nothing, my mind swirling with anger and disbelief.

Henry, however, didn’t notice my silence. Instead, he ran his hands over me, moving with practice ease. Suddenly, he reached for an inconspicuous section of the wall and revealed a hidden compartment I never knew existed.

From it, he pulled out a pristine condom. Inside the compartment were dozens of used ones.

There must have been over a hundred.

In my absence, they had shamelessly indulged in their depravity—in my bed, no less.

Coming back to my senses, I grabbed his wandering hand to stop him.

Seeing this, he mistook my actions, pinning my hand beneath his.

“Don’t make a fuss. The only woman I’ll ever have a child with is Lianna.”

Hearing this, I shook my head, trying to suppress the storm of emotions within me.

“I’m still on my period,” I murmured.

He seemed unfazed by my words. “It doesn’t matter. Battling through blood is nothing new for us.”

Once again, I refused him. “I’m not feeling well.”

After being turned down repeatedly, Henry’s expression darkened.

“Sienna, don’t come begging me later,” he snapped.

Finally, he let go of my hand, his face cold as he stormed into the bathroom to "resolve things" on his own.

That night, I couldn’t sleep. My thoughts raced endlessly.

The next morning, a knock at the door disrupted the silence.

Henry went to open it.

Standing at the door was none other than Sienna. He froze, completely stunned.

Sienna walked in as if it were her own home, casually saying, “Henry, why wasn’t the spare key under the doormat? I had to knock on the door.”

Then, with a playful smirk, she added, “I heard that old hag isn’t home, so I came to see you specifically.”

At her words, Henry tensed immediately. His gaze darted nervously between Sienna and me, who had just stepped out of the bedroom.

Sienna also noticed me. Her face turned pale, her nervousness written all over it.

“Lianna, I... I didn’t mean to—”

Before she could finish, Henry cut her off hastily. “Lianna, why are you back so early?”

Sienna looked completely confused.

Henry, however, continued his frantic explanations. “You should’ve told me you were coming back so I could have picked you up! Sienna is here today because she needed help with her calculus homework, that’s all.”

He even shot me a look, as if seeking my cooperation. “Right, Sienna?”

I stared at him, unmoving and silent.

Realizing something was off, Sienna’s eyes gleamed with shrewdness. She quickly adjusted her expression and played along.

“Surprise!” she said cheerfully, slipping her arm around Henry’s like a devoted wife.

Her demeanor screamed familiarity, as if she had been in this position forever. She didn’t deny the identity he thrust upon her; instead, she embraced it wholeheartedly.

Seeing her reaction, Henry visibly relaxed. He then glanced at me coldly.

“What are you standing there for? Go back to school.”

Sienna chimed in, pretending to be kind. “It’s too late now. Let Sienna stay in the guest room for the night.”

Her words settled the matter. Henry didn’t object, possibly out of guilt.

That night, he was unusually attentive to Sienna, even offering to wash her feet. He knelt by her side, tending to her like a servant.

Sienna reveled in the treatment, smirking at me with undisguised provocation.

When Henry finished and went to the bathroom to clean the basin, he brushed past me, lowering his voice to issue a warning. “Stay put tonight and don’t expose anything. If Lianna finds out, this ends between us.”

His words were like a dagger, cold and final.

After he left, Sienna looked at me smugly. “Looks like you’ll have to start calling me Mrs. Scott now. How does it feel? Does your heart ache watching him treat me like this?”

Her triumphant expression didn’t faze me. Instead, I responded calmly, “What do you think will happen if Henry regains his memory and realizes you’ve been lying to him?”

For a moment, panic flickered in her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure. Gritting her teeth, she spat, “As long as I’m around, he’ll never recover his memory!”

Right then, Henry returned. Sienna instantly shifted her expression, becoming demure and sweet.

In the days that followed, I stayed at the house.

I didn’t go back to school, as there was no reason to.

Sienna, determined to humiliate me, didn’t chase me away.

Henry, as always, followed her lead.

During the day, I watched as Sienna clumsily imitated my mannerisms, trying to keep up the act. Her awkward performance amused me to no end.

At night, I lay in the guest room, listening to the deafening sounds from the master bedroom—creaking bed frames and Sienna’s exaggerated moans echoing through the walls.

I felt nothing.

Instead, I silently counted down the days until I could leave for good.
