Violet Ashlock

I looked at myself through the mirror to check if everything is perfect or not. I smiled and turned my body around to see the whole look. Today I'm wearing a really beautiful white jumpsuit. I tied my hair on the lower back and put my makeup on. I sprayed some perfume and took my white clutch with me. I've already put my phone, money, cards and everything I need inside.

I walked towards my car and went straight to the event. It's a business event, it's more like a gathering between business people. I bet you all wondering why I'm here? Well I'm Ashlock one and only heirest. Ashlock is one of the biggest oil companies along with the 7 Gold Lifes not just that.. We have 5 assembled factories for phones and cars in China.

Today my parents won't attend the event because they will be in Greece having their holiday. I was the one who suggested that because they always work. They're getting old.. so they need it.

I got out from the car and told my chauffeur not to wait for me. He can go home straight away. I walked inside the venue.

"Ms. Ashlock, it's good to see you and you look stunning as always."

"Well thank you Mr. Beginburk. You look handsome as always. How are you?" I smiled at him.

"I'm good, you know I'm getting old and old everyday."

"Oh Mr. Beginburk, you're not old!"

"I told you.." Will joined and Will here is my partner for a lot of my business. He's a really good and fun man to be with. He's going to get married next month too.

"Oh.. William.. Speaking of William.. How's the farm going?" He asked.

"Farm?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Yeah, he just opened a new division."

"Yeah.. It's just open like 2 months ago and it's going up quite well." He said and I smiled.

"Everything will always work with you.. He's smart.. right Mr. Beginburk?" I asked and the old man nodded.

"See."

"Well.. Thankyou.." I left them talking and I mingled with other people as well until someone decided to slip his arm around my waist.

"Get it off from my waist, I don't talk and deal with fuck boys." I said in a really arrogant tone. I didn't even need to look at him to know who he is.

"Well.. You wound me, Violet."

"Call me Ms. Ashlock. We're not in a term where we can call each other's first name, Mr. Portwalt." I said in a really annoying tone towards him. I walked away and tried to mingle with others but Austin kept following me which is annoying.

"Violet!" I turned to see my old highschool friend James.

"James!" I hugged him tightly.

"Hey.. how are you?" He asked and I chuckled.

"Been good, how about you?"

"Well.. I'm great." I said and suddenly Austin slipped his arm around my waist again. I turned to him and looked at him coldly.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Violet's friend."

"Let's get a drink and talk outside." I pushed Austin aside and held James's hand. I pulled him away and not even caring about Austin. He's a jerk.

Me and James talked a little bit and catched up on a lot of things. It's been a long time since I saw him.. 2 years.. maybe. We walked inside the venue again and apparently he has to talk to a few investors here and there so I let him go instead keeping him all night.

"Alone?" I rolled my eyes and sipped my wine.

"Well.. a cold shoulder again from the princess.." I turned to him and suddenly he pinned me against the wall. My eyes widened and looked at him in disbelief.

"What are you doing?" I hissed and he smirked.

"Well.. I was a little disappointed that you didn't come yesterday." He said and leaned closer to me. I was so captivated by his eyes and my breath got hitch. I swear.. no man can make me feel like this. I've been trying to find someone who can give me this feeling but no one can give me this beside Austin.

"I bet you fuck another girl so why do you even expecting me to come anyway?" I said coldly.

"Violet.. I was waiting for you.." What?!

"What kind of bullsh-" He cut me by crashing his lips to mine. My body totally numb because of it and just.. totally melted. I kissed him back and he pulled me closer. I realized that this isn't right.. I know that Austin is not interested in me but suddenly.. I tried to push him away but he kissed me more passionately. He slowly trailed down to my neck, making me moan. Gosh.. thank God we're not inside.

"Austin.."

"Hmm?"

"Austin.. We need to-" He kissed my lips again shutting me up and I was so drowned by his kisses until I didn't even care.

"You look so beautiful tonight." He said between kisses. I put my glass of wine aside and cupped his face to stop him.

"I'm Violet.. if you're drunk and mistaken me by som-"

"Violet.. I'm sober. Completely sober.." He smirked and kissed me again but I stopped him.

"What's with you?" I asked because I felt weird again. He took my hand and pulled me outside the building. He asked the valet chauffeur to take his car.

"Austin.. Wh-"

"Babe.. Stop asking me that topic. I just realized that I've been slipping away from a one beautiful, smart and proper girl so I won't let you slip from my eyes again." He said that in a really sexy tone and his eyes looked straight to mine making me.. melt.. oh boy..

"You haven't eaten right?" He asked and I shook my head.

"We'll go to my apartment and I'll cook for you." His apartment? My breath got hitch thinking what will happen if a guy and a woman in one apartm- okay! Shut it! Think straight Violet!

I rested my head on my hand and looked at Austin dreamy. He rolled his sleeves up and started to cook. That was the most sexiest thing that I've ever seen.

"Do I look sexy?" He asked suddenly and I slipped my elbow. I drank my wine and looked away.

"Don't be shy, Violet." He smirked and I sighed. I was trying to control myself because I love this feeling so much. I drank all the wine in my glass and got up from the seat. I walked towards his apartment's balcony to get some fresh air because my body's circulation is not working.

I took a really deep breath.. and let it out slowly. I closed my eyes and just let the cold breeze hit me. Suddenly Austin slipped his arms around my waist from the back.

"Austin.." I released his arm and turned to him.

"The food is ready.. let's eat." He smiled and held my hand. He pulled me inside and gestured me to sit.

"This looks so good.." I said.

"I hope you'll like it." He made carbonara spaghetti and salmon steak.

"I think I will love it." I smiled at him and he gestured to me to eat. I sliced the salmon and put it into my mouth. I looked at him and smiled widely.

"It's really good.."

"Well.. Good to know that you like it."

"Speaking of this.. Why?" I put my fork and knife down. I crossed my arms in front of my chest and raised his eyebrows.

"What do you mean 'why'?"

"You suddenly act so nice and even kiss me and-"

"You know that we both have this attraction, you felt it right?" He asked and my jaw dropped on the floor.

"I don't want to push it away no more.. I want us to be real." He said and that got me speechless. He moved his seat beside me, I can't take my eyes off him. I felt so happy but I feel.. suspicious too.

"Feel that?" He asked when he held my hand and I nodded weakly. He leaned to me slowly and I closed my eyes. Suddenly he laughed and I opened my eyes.

"There's something on the side of your mouth." He said and I felt so embarrassed. My face turned red and I glared at him. I continued to eat.

"Are you mad?" He asked but I ignored him. I ate the food slowly and just glanced at him secretly. He kept his eyes on me and chuckled everytime he caught me glancing.

"Violet.." He called and I still ignored him.

"Violet."

"I'm eat-" When I turned to him, he caught my wrist.

"Beautiful.. is it good?" My breath got hitch when he said that. We both looked at each other for a while until I pulled my wrist from him. I continued to eat.

"It's good." I said after finishing it.

"Well.. glad that you like it. Wine?" He asked and I nodded. He poured the wine to my glass.

"Thankyou for the meal.. but I think I better go." I said and got up from my chair. I gave him a really arrogant look and took my clutch. I walked towards the door when he suddenly said..

"Beautiful.. it's not free." That made me stop, I turned to him.

"And what do you have in mind?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"A date?" He asked, smirking and I laughed arrogantly.

"No thankyou." I said and turned my body around again towards the door.

"Playing hard to get?" He asked and I ignored him. I walked out from his apartment and went down to the lobby. I looked at the time and walked out from the building.

"It's late, let me take you home." I smirked hearing Austin said that. I think this boy up for something.

"No thankyou.. I can get a ta-" He caught my wrist and pulled me towards him. He circled his arm around my waist.

"What are yo-"

"Gosh.. You really look ravishing tonight." He said and that got me good. I tried to push him away.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow at 7, let's have a dinner date." I looked up to him and he smiled.

"Austin.. Do you know that you're being weird? You knew that we had something at Izac's party, after that you've been avoiding me." I said truthfully.

"I told you that I know we had something but I was afraid that it might turn into something.. you know.. relationship.." He said that and I raised my eyebrows.

"And why do you wan-"

"Because I can't hold it anymore. I want you.. I really want you." That got my heart melt.

"Okay fine.." I pushed him away.

"Now let me take you home." He held my hand and pulled me back to the building. We went down to the basement and got into his car.

"Let me." He said as he pulled the seatbelt on for me and our faces were so close to each other, it's making me blush so hard.

"Let's go.. care telling me where your house is?" He asked and I nodded. He drove out from the building and I showed him the way to my house. For me it's a little bit awkward because.. you know that I kinda like this guy. It's really weird to see him having this interest in me.

"The second house on the right."

"Okay." I gestured my guard to open the door and Austin parked his car right in front of my house.

"Thankyou." I said as I opened the seatbelt. When I was going to open the door, he stopped me and I looked at him confuse.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"No goodnight kiss?" He asked and I chuckled.

"No." I smiled and got out from his car.

"Thankyou for the food and taking me home." I said and he nodded.

"See you tomorrow beautiful." He said and I waved back. He drove out his car from my house and I smiled widely. I jumped excitedly and walked inside the house. I can't wait for tomorrow! I need to pick tomorrow's dress now!

Austin Portwalt

"Fancy seeing you here.." My friends smirked at me and I plopped on the sofa.

"Where were you? I saw you walk out earlier." Oliver asked.

"I saw you with Violet Ashlock." Jeremy smirked and I just chuckled.

"Hitting on her? I thought you have no interest in that girl?"

"No interest? Dude are you blind? She's hot." Elijah said and I poured alcohol to my glass.

"I'm using her." I said honestly.

"Nice thinking." Kane said.

"Are you sure that you're just using her? How about the arrange marriage?" Oliver asked.

"Nah.. I skip that." I said and sipped my alcohol.

"You literally have 2 hot girls around you.. dude.. have the both of them." Eljiah said and I shook my head.

"I don't want to settle down.. and the both of them want that." I hissed

"Dude.. Settling down with a hot girl is a definition of heaven." Kane said.

"Then you get her.."

"I want Violet." Elijah smirked and I gestured to him to take her.

"Really? Can I have her now?"

"After I use her.. she's all yours." I said and sipped my drink. After that we started to talk about our business. We're businessmen, our topic will always be business,money, deals and girls.

"I'm out of here.." I said after that, I decided to go home and rest.

The next day.. I woke up and sat on my desk to work. After that I took a shower and decided to make a reservation for tonight's date. Gosh, impressing a girl like Violet will be quite hard. I believe that she's a type of girl who loves romance and fairytales. This will be hard.. but at least I will get a lot of advantages in the future for being with her.

I called a restaurant and reserved a place there after that I went back to work again. Until the clock showed 6 p.m, I quickly took a shower and went out from my apartment. I drove down to Violet's place.

They opened the door and I parked my car inside. I got out of my car at the same time as Violet walked out from the house. She looked beautiful as always.. elegant.. classy.. as always her eyes.. That's the most captivating part of her.

"Hello, Austin." She greeted me and I smiled.

"Hello beautiful, ready to go?" I asked as I walked to the passenger side. She smiled widely and nodded. I opened the door for her. She got in and I closed the door. I walked to the other side and got in.

"So where are we going today?" She asked as she put on her seatbelt.

"I've booked a restaurant and then we can go to the place that you want to go." I said.

"Oh okay.."

"Any place in mind?" A girl like her, maybe shopping.. or cafes..

"Can we go to Brooklyn Bridge later on?" I raised my eyebrows as I started the car.

"Brooklyn bridge?"

"Yeah.. I always go there every night. It helps me to release stress."

"Walking along the Brooklyn bridge?" I asked.

"Yeah, walk along it and sit there for hours." Well that's a little bit new..

"Oh okay, we can do that." I said as I drove out from her house.

"Oh.. iPod.." She pointed at my iPod.

"Go choose a song.." I bet it will be slow and romantic songs. Gosh.. I'm sleepy and I'm not in- She suddenly played loud pop songs.. Like Bang Bang by Ariana, Jessie and Nicki Minaj. Well.. at least she didn't turn on slow songs.

"Your playlist is so boring." What?!

"You don't have R&B songs?" She asked and I chuckled.

"A classy and elegant girl like you? Hearing R&B?" I asked disbelief.

"Is there something wrong with R&B?" She asked in a really disbelief tone.

"Oh come on.. you girls love slow and romantic songs."

"I guess you still don't know me then.." She said and then turned off the song.

"Do you have allergies or something?" She asked.

"Nope.. I don't. Do you?"

"Nope.. I don't." At the same time, we arrived at the restaurant. We got out of the car and I walked towards her. I offered her my arm and she linked it. We walked inside together.

"Reservation under Mr. Portwalt." We walked inside and sat near the window. She sat across me and the waiter offered us the menu. We chose our food and ordered it.

"How work today?" I asked her and she smiled.

"Quite good. Been dealing alone since my dad is currently away. How about you?"

"Well.. Working inside my apartment."

"Missing Miami?" She asked and I chuckled.

"A little.."

"Why Miami?" She asked and the most interesting part about her is that she respects people. She never touches her phone when she's talking and she always makes eye contact which is really good.

I often deal with girls who keep their eyes on their phone. I know that they're talking with a lot of guys at the same time when they're with me but this girl surprises me.

"Miami? Well.. my mom was born in Miami and I grew up loving the environment." I answered.

"Well.. if you stress out.. all you need to do is walk out from your office."

"Right.. that's why I love Miami. How about you? Why New York?" I asked.

"Well.. It's never been my choice. I was born here and grew up here.. actually.. I want to live in the countryside." That surprised me again.

"That's interesting.."

"Yeah, me and friends went for a trip around 2 years ago to the countryside. I love it.. I just love everything about it." She said smiling widely.

"It's quite surprising a girl like you want to live there.."

"Everyone said that.. I'm just an ordinary girl. I mean I know that my parents taught me how to be elegant and classy and just this girl but you know.. I'm just an ordinary girl.. I'm just like everyone else."

"No.. I think you're special." Those were the only honest words that came out from my mouth that night..
