Chapter 1
My younger sister, Lydia Miller, and I are unexpectedly reborn into a beastman tribe, where the Beast God gives us a choice of identity.
The first option is to become a beast woman with tremendous strength and a tall, imposing physique. The second option is to become a saintess with the ability to reproduce across species and an alluring, graceful figure.
In our previous life, Lydia became a beast woman to survive, while I became the frail saintess. She ended up scorned by the tribe's beastmen for not being feminine enough.
Meanwhile, I captured the hearts of the three strongest and most handsome beastmen in the tribe with my delicate frame. I became their most cherished beloved.
Eventually, they rose to rule the primeval forest, and I basked in endless glory as their saintess.
Driven mad with jealousy, Lydia pushed me into a poison swamp when no one was looking. With my last bit of strength, I plunged a poisonous thorn into her body, and we died together.
When I open my eyes again, we're back at the moment when the Beast God asks us to make our choice. This time, Lydia rushes to claim the saintess identity first.
"Ella, this time I'll be the saintess. Since I pity you so much, I'll let you have those three defective, impotent beastmen."
I bite back the wild joy flooding through me. What's so great about serving as a breeding tool anyway?
In a primitive society, strength is everything.
I opened my eyes. The searing pain from the poison still lingered.
"You have both perished in the mortal world, yet your souls were sent here by the Main God. Two identities now lie before you.
"The first is to become a powerful beast woman in this world. The second is to become a saintess. Have you decided who will be the saintess and who will be the beast woman?"
The Beast God's voice rang out with immense authority.
We looked down at our feet. Below us stretched a dense primeval forest, the continent where the beastmen made their home.
When we first fell onto this continent in our previous life, both my sister, Lydia Miller, and I had fear written deep in our eyes.
The howling of wild beasts announced the law of the jungle that ruled this place. So, Lydia chose the beast woman identity without hesitation.
"A beast-eared woman has its own kind of charm," she said.
After making her choice, she looked at me smugly, imagining how adorable she'd look. The Beast God told us that on this beastman continent, females were extremely rare. A single female could even have multiple mates.
To Lydia, this sounded like the life of an empress.
She shoved me toward the center of the wild beasts, smiling as she watched. "Ella, you've lived in the Miller family in my place for so many years, so you probably can't handle hardship.
"Let these powerful beastmen take good care of you. After all, this is a place where the strong devour the weak."
I ignored her mocking and walked straight toward the three beastmen.
Lydia was right. Strength ruled supreme here.
Later, when we formed our bonds, those three fierce beastmen all transformed into handsome men who cherished and protected me. Meanwhile, Lydia received the power of a beast woman and was assigned three defective males.
Worse still, she and her mates couldn't transform. They could only survive in beast form.
Lydia was consumed with jealousy. She spoke to me with bitter sarcasm.
"Ella, you're so lucky. They're even willing to take human form just to stay by your side. Even though you're so weak, they remain devoted and loyal to you."
I didn't respond, and my eyes remained unreadable. Even when humans were weak, we possessed the power of intelligence.
Using modern knowledge, I taught them how to make fire and guided them in hunting. I led their tribe, the Wildplains tribe, to prosperity.
They truly couldn't do without me. But what Lydia didn't know was how savage they truly were beneath their devotion.
If they were truly loyal, they wouldn't have poisoned me into silence and severed my tendons to prevent me from leaving. They did this all because they worried about which one I'd help become king.
They stripped away my freedom and turned me into their possession. Because I carried the power of reproduction, I became their breeding tool.
In this life, before the Beast God even finished speaking, Lydia rushed to claim the saintess identity. Without hesitation, she chose the three beastmen from my previous life as her mates.
"Are you certain of your choice? Once made, there is no turning back."
The Beast God seemed surprised that she chose the weak saintess without any hesitation.
"I choose this identity. I believe I can lead my tribe to prosperity."
The Beast God sighed and merged Lydia into her new body. As she passed by me, she couldn't help swaying her graceful waist.
I ignored her provocation. When my turn came, the Beast God tapped me lightly. I felt a surging power bloom within my body.
Lydia looked at me with mocking amusement in her eyes. "Ella, this body really suits you perfectly."
Through the reflection in her pupils, I could see I'd become a fierce and savage beast, utterly devoid of beauty.
"Ella, now you have all the strength you need. I'll give you those three useless males.
"This time, the position of Beast Queen and saintess will both be mine."
I knew exactly what she meant.
In our previous life, the three beastmen by her side couldn't transform. Not only that, they all had congenital disabilities.
When a neighboring tribe attacked, they were even bitten to death by other beastmen while trying to protect Lydia. But I knew that such pure devotion was the rarest treasure.
Since I'd been reborn and switched fates with Lydia, I wouldn't let them die tragically. Feeling the surging power in my body, I couldn't help but feel a trace of satisfaction.
Beast Queen and saintess were just prettier names for the weak. If Lydia wanted them so badly, she could have them.
In primitive tribes, strength reigned supreme. In this life, I would become the true queen who ruled over all beastkin.
Chapter 2
After the Beast God arranged our identities, he sent us to the beastkin continent.
In our previous life, Lydia originally wanted to possess supreme power and enjoy being surrounded by beautiful men. However, her inability to transform shattered all those dreams.
In our previous life, Lydia despised the three males by her side and treated them terribly. She was used to being human. How could she possibly adapt to beastkin tribe customs?
What she didn't know was that transformation required gathering enough power. She was lazy and idle, sitting around the tribe all day, enjoying the fruits of others' labor.
The three males by her side already suffered from congenital defects, and with her abuse on top of that, they naturally couldn't compare to other beastmen. Failing to catch prey was a common occurrence.
Lydia showed them nothing but contempt for this. When she finally managed to transform, malnutrition left her human form completely unattractive. Compared to my radiant and slender figure, she looked like a female gorilla.
She regretted it deeply, but the beastkin tribe had rules. Only when a bonded beastman died or when someone became the beastman king could they choose new males.
So, when another tribe attacked the Clearspring tribe where she lived, she used herself as bait and pushed her three males into a trap laid by other beastmen.
After they died, Lydia busied herself seducing other males. She set her sights on the charming snake-men and the ape-men, whose habits were closest to humans.
However, snake-men were notoriously lustful, and ape-men were different from other races. Their females were shared by the entire tribe.
These two groups were the most despised existence on the entire continent. What awaited Lydia was torment worse than death.
Eventually, when a new King of All Beastkin emerged, all beastmen had to attend a ritual ceremony in the deepest part of the jungle.
Lydia saw me surrounded by handsome men who treasured me above all else and personally attended to everything for me. At the ceremony, I became the Beast Queen with an incomparably noble status.
Driven mad with jealousy, she lured me to a poison swamp in the jungle and pushed me in. The tendons in my hands and feet had been severed, so I had no strength to resist.
"Ella Miller, you stole my identity and enjoyed 20 years of my life back then. Why should you possess everything I desire here as well?
"You're the one who stole what belonged to me. Go to hell!"
Thinking about everything from my previous life, something dark and unreadable flashed through my eyes.
Lydia was the long-lost legitimate daughter. I was the adopted daughter raised by the Miller family.
Later, when the Miller family found Lydia, they couldn't bear to part with me after all our years together, so they begged me to stay. Out of gratitude for the Miller family raising me and guilt toward Lydia, I stayed with them.
But I regretted this decision. There were countless ways to repay their kindness, yet I chose the most foolish one.
In the life that followed, the Miller family gradually shifted their hearts toward Lydia. When Lydia's grades weren't as good as mine, they demanded I give her my guaranteed university admission slot and even let her change my major.
When Lydia fell for my fiance, they changed the engagement and handed my happiness to her.
Even my brother, who had always favored me, gradually grew to pity Lydia for the hardships she had endured. He believed I was a thief and took his anger out on me whenever Lydia framed me, which happened countless times.
She told everyone that I had enjoyed the life that belonged to her. In everyone else's eyes, I became the thief who stole her life.
But I truly had replaced Lydia as the young lady of the household for 20 years. The Miller family raised me, and that debt was real and undeniable.
Now, the debts from my previous life were settled. Even when given a second chance, I still let her choose first.
A smile bloomed at the corner of my eyes. From this moment on, Lydia and I owed each other nothing.
Chapter 3
"You have now received your respective identities. You may return to your own territories."
The Beast God's voice rang out, and Lydia and I fell into our respective bodies. At this moment, we had just finished forming bonds with our males.
Lydia swayed her waist as she walked toward the three beastmen she bonded with. The three males looked at her with intense possessiveness in their eyes.
The other males present gazed at Lydia and her companions with envious eyes. But they couldn't compete with these three males at all.
They were the tribe's white tiger, Marcus Stone, black lion, Damian Hunter, and eagle, Kieran Swift. In the face of absolute power, the others could only stare at this delicate female in a daze.
Meanwhile, behind me stood a wolf with one eye, an eagle that couldn't fly, and a harmless-looking cat. As for me, I was a white wolf. I looked with satisfaction at my sharp claws and fangs.
Among the wolf tribe, white wolves held supreme status. However, among the beastkin tribes, such females weren't popular.
Lydia looked at everyone's infatuation with her, satisfaction in her eyes. When it came to me, the beastmen showed only disdain. So, I was assigned these three least desirable defective males.
But Lydia didn't realize that true allies would never wish for your weakness.
I looked at the three beastmen before me and calmly led them back to our territory. Seeing my indifferent attitude, the three beastmen felt uneasy inside. They couldn't transform, and even their animal forms were defective.
They followed carefully behind me, as if afraid of angering me.
After returning to the cave, I frowned. The cave was cold, damp, and dark. For me, it wasn't a good place to live.
"Wait inside. I'll be back soon."
Perhaps because this body still carried some human habits, I instinctively disliked such dark and damp places. When I returned to the cave with firewood and prey, my eyes shone with delight. This body's strength and speed exceeded my imagination.
I was certain my power wasn't inferior to Lydia's three males.
When I entered the cave, I discovered it seemed to have been tidied up. The hard stone bed was covered with soft, dry grass and animal hides. There were even small flowers placed on the stone table.
The three beastmen looked at me with somewhat unreadable emotions in their eyes. I tossed the prey in front of them, and they swallowed nervously as they looked at me.
"You can eat. I'll eat later."
I wasn't fond of eating raw meat, so I built a fire to the side. I tore off a piece and began roasting it.
They looked at me with some astonishment in their eyes. Generally speaking, in their former tribe, even when they handed over prey, they weren't entitled to the first bite of food.
What remained for them was usually leftovers or spoiled meat. They would've never gotten something so fresh.
Seeing them motionless for so long, I felt puzzled and carried over the meat I'd roasted on the stick. "Do you want cooked meat?"
"No, you are our bonded one. This food was hunted by you, so we should wait until you've eaten before you grant it to us."
The one-eyed wolf spoke with a complex expression.
I shook my head and told them, "We don't need to follow those rules here. From now on, I'll need your help when hunting anyway.
"My name is Ella Miller. If you need anything from me in the future, you can tell me directly."
The three males looked at me. Something unreadable flashed through their eyes.
"My name is Soren Cross. These two are Adrian Vale and Caspian White. They can't speak yet, so Ella, if you need anything, just tell me."
I didn't know if it was from the hunting trip or because I still wasn't used to this body. I just felt extraordinarily tired and weak.
"I'm going to rest first. If you're hungry, eat. If you can, please help watch the fire."
After speaking, I found a spot in the cave and fell into a deep sleep. Little did I know that after confirming I was asleep, Adrian's and Caspian's gazes turned cold as they looked at me.
They reached their claws toward me. When they were only inches away, Soren blocked their path in front of me.
"Soren, what are you doing? Have you forgotten how she abandoned us in our previous life? Now that she's back, I want nothing more than to tear her apart!"
If I were awake, I would have discovered that Adrian and Caspian could already speak human words.
"She's not her." Something dark flashed through the wolf's one and only eye.
