Beastbound

I woke up and found myself transmigrated into my nemesis' doll. At first, I thought he was still a child at heart for keeping this. Then, I realized he was just unhinged. The doll's face looked just like mine.

And then the bigger surprise was that he was a beastfolk. Every night, he would torture me with his literal serpent tail. I eventually told him I knew what he was.

He imprisoned me on the bed and smiled at me gently. What came next were cruel words. "Since you already know, I'll drop the mask now. Tell me, do you want to use those toys or my tail?"

A Doll

"Dammit!" I slammed the file onto the table and plopped into my chair, disheveled. Another project snagged by that bastard, Nathaniel Gray!

He was my best friend when we were kids. We spent all the time together, but then he went overseas and took over his family's business after he came back. I took over my family's company at the same time.

The first thing he did was fight me for a project instead of catching up with me, though. Up until now, he'd sniped a lot of projects that should've been mine. I cursed him.

My assistant came in. "Mr. Gray's in the waiting room, ma'am."

That bastard had the nerve to see me? I laughed mirthlessly and stomped over to the waiting room. But before I went in, I kept my fury down and held up my composure, then I opened the door.

"You made it." Nathaniel was on the couch, his legs crossed loosely, and he gave me a smirk.

I clenched my teeth. "You should be celebrating, Mr. Gray. What are you doing at my dingy company? To offer your apology?"

"Apology?" Nathaniel's smirk turned into a mocking smile. "You're delusional." He stood up and approached me. "If you don't have the aptitude for management, Ms. Birch, I suggest you don't push yourself."

He stood before me and said coolly, "Hand me your company, and I'll make both our businesses stronger!"

That arrogance made me nauseous. My face fell, and I grabbed his collar in a huff. That made him bend down. "Don't get too cocky, Nathaniel. One of these days, I'll buy out your company!"

He chortled and breathed in my face. "Keep dreaming." He sneered in disdain. "Try your best."

My resentment burned until bedtime. I was in my bed, deep in sleep when a blinding light woke me up. That was curious. I wondered if I'd left the lights on. I wanted to hold my hand over my eyes, but then I realized something.

I couldn't move my arms!

And this room was obviously not mine!

A low, hoarse voice echoed right beside me. "Hey, babe."

I looked at the guy. He was wearing a towel around his waist, revealing his sturdy chest, with water droplets rolling down his skin. Nathaniel.
