Chapter 1

My husband Kevin Collins and my best friend Stella White had an affair and had a child.

But for the sake of reputation, they swore that they had nothing to do with each other.

I looked at Kevin and Stella kneeling on the ground.

I just smiled and helped them up, saying, "What are you talking about? Of course I know you are innocent!"

The two of them didn't have a chance to finish their prepared lines and just stood there in a daze.

But I was smiling in my heart.

They didn't know that I had been reborn.

The reason I did this was because Kevin would die in a car accident in a month.

So if I could hold on for a month, all his property would be mine!

One:

Kevin, who was supposed to be on a business trip to another province, was standing in front of me at this moment, frantically putting on his clothes, looking embarrassed. He said, "Why did you come here suddenly?"

Stella casually grabbed a coat and put it on, not even having time to button it up. She knelt on the ground and held my hand, saying, "Susy, this is a misunderstanding."

A boy called Tommy about five or six years old ran over from another bedroom. He looked alike to Kevin and threw himself into Kevin's arms. "Dad, who is she? Why is she bullying my mom?"

I didn't feel angry at all, nor did I feel being betrayed, because I had already seen this scene once.

In my previous life, I received a text message.

[Your husband is at your bestie's house right now. You can catch them on the bed now.]

I went over there with doubt, and this was exactly the scene I saw.

At that time, Kevin and Stella explained to me that it was a misunderstanding.

I was not a fool. I caught them on bed and they even had a child to prove that their affair was not just a spur-of-the-moment affair, but that they had been dating secretly for many years.

I was not that generous, so when I saw this, I immediately asked for a divorce.

Kevin refused to divorce me, saying that he still loved me and that it was a misunderstanding. But Stella spread the rumor that Kevin and I were not getting along and that I divorced him just to divide the family property.

I was so angry that I almost divorced him without taking property.

After the divorce, Kevin quickly got married to Stella and acknowledged the illegitimate child. However, less than a month after their marriage, Kevin died in a car accident, and all his property was left to Stella and the illegitimate child.

After my divorce, I felt unwell and went to the hospital for a check-up, only to find out that I had advanced breast cancer. Because I had no money for treatment, I died miserably. When I was dying, I realized this was Stella's conspiracy. I didn't expect that as soon as I closed my eyes, I would return to this scene that changed my life.

Chapter 2

Stella saw that I was silent but looked calm. She frowned and said, "Susy, the water pipe in my house broke today, so I asked Kevin to fix it. I didn't expect that I would get soaked. You came in when I was changing clothes. Please understand us."

Kevin also nodded repeatedly and said, "Yes, it's a misunderstanding."

I still didn't say anything but just looked at them with a smile.

Stella and Kevin looked at each other, and Stella pulled the kid into her arms, saying, "Although Tommy looks exactly like Kevin, he is not Kevin's. You have to believe us, we would never do such a thing."

I pretended to look at the child and said, "Yes, they look alike."

Stella gave birth to Tommy in her hometown the year when she claimed she was studying abroad. To avoid being discovered by me and leaving no records, she gave birth at home, so there was not even a birth certificate.

In my previous life, after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I also asked Stella for money. At that time, Stella looked like a noble lady and said, "Susy, your current fate is exactly what I hoped for. How could I give you money to save you?"

Stella turned the big diamond ring in her hand and told me everything she had done.

It was also at this time that I realized that the text message was sent by Stella.

Because when Stella and I went to the hospital for a physical examination, she found out that I had breast problems. She did this to make my condition worse and to prevent me from getting good treatment.

She planned this.

But she was successful, and I died miserably just as she expected.

Thinking of this, I smiled and helped them up, saying, "Don't worry, of course I believe in you."

Chapter 3

It was obvious that my reaction was not what Stella expected. She wanted to force me to understand what was happening.

Kevin had already put on his clothes and stood beside me humbly, saying, "I knew Susy was the smartest and she wouldn't have such wild ideas."

Stella frowned. After all, the current situation was completely different from what she had imagined.

"Susy, did anyone say anything to you when you came here today?

"You have to believe me and Kevin. Although Kevin and I grew up together, nothing special happened between us. If we have feelings for each other, Kevin wouldn't have married you.

"Tommy just happens to look like Kevin, but he's actually my ex-boyfriend's."

I chuckled and said, "Stella, don't explain. I believe in you. After all, I'm so good to you, and you're not a heartless bitch. How could you steal my husband?"

Kevin was very displeased with what Stella said, and said coldly, "Stop it. Stella, Susy and I will go back first, you can find someone to fix the water pipe yourself."

Stella still wanted to make a final effort. She winked at Tommy. Tommy had been trained by Stella's parents in her hometown for a few years, so he immediately understood what Stella meant and ran over to hug Kevin's thighs, saying, "Dad, don't you want me anymore?"

I burst out laughing and looked at Stella and Kevin, saying, "Did Kevin become Tommy's godfather without telling me? I forgive you this time, but if you hide something from me next time, I will be angry.

"If I get angry, I might cause troubles and ruin your reputation, leaving you with nothing."

The two of them nodded with pale faces, not daring to say anything else.
